“누가 우리를 그리스도의 사랑에서 끊으리요 환난이나 곤고나 박해나 기근이나 적신이나 위험이나 칼이랴 기록된 바 우리가 종일 주를 위하여 죽임을 당하게 되며 도살 당할 양 같이 여김을 받았나이다 함과 같으니라 그러나 이 모든 일에 우리를 사랑하시는 이로 말미암아 우리가 넉넉히 이기느니라”(롬 8:35-37)
삶 가운데 많은 역경이 있을 수도 있습니다. 그러나 말씀은 당신이 그리스도로 말미암아 정복자보다 더 나은 자라고 말합니다. 이 말씀이 당신에게 위로와 평강과 기쁨을 줄 것입니다. 당신은 그리스도의 승리 안에 거하고 있습니다. 예수님은 우리에게 위기와 도전들에 대한 확실한 승리를 보장하셨습니다. 예수님은 이렇게 말씀하셨습니다. “이것을 너희에게 이르는 것은 너희로 내 안에서 평안을 누리게 하려 함이라 세상에서는 너희가 환난을 당하나 담대하라 내가 세상을 이기었노라”(요 16:33)
“자녀들아 너희는 하나님께 속하였고 또 그들을 이기었나니 이는 너희 안에 계신 이가 세상에 있는 자보다 크심이라”(요일 4:4) 당신은 이 세상의 타락한 영향력을 초월하는 위치로 들어올려졌습니다.
오늘의 본문 구절은 환난, 곤고, 박해, 기근, 결핍, 위험이나 칼이 당신을 하나님의 사랑에서 끊어낼 수 없다고 정확히 말합니다. 그 다음 말씀은 당신이 정복자보다 더 나은 자라고 결론 짓습니다. 정복자보다 더 낫다는 것은 이 땅의 기초가 놓이기도 전에 당신은 이미 그리스도 안에서 승리했다는 것을 뜻합니다. 할렐루야!
더 이상 고군분투하거나 극복해야 할 것들이 없습니다. 예수님께서 승리자이자 정복자로서 무덤에서 일어나셨을 때 당신은 그분 안에 있었습니다.
삶의 환경이 당신을 피해자로 만들게 두지 마십시오. 당신은 그리스도 안에서 승리의 생명으로 다시 태어났습니다. “항상 우리를 그리스도 안에서 이기게 하시고 우리로 말미암아 각처에서 그리스도를 아는 냄새를 나타내시는 하나님께 감사하노라”(고후 2:14)
기도
나를 그리스도 안에서 항상 승리하게 하시고 그분을 아는 지식의 향기를 각 도처에서 나타내시는 하나님께 감사드립니다! 그리스도 안에서 승리하는 내 인생에 감사드립니다! 나는 상황을 다스리며 승리 가운데 살고 완전한 성취, 기쁨, 영광과 다스림 가운데 삽니다. 예수 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘.

Living In The Victory Of Christ
“Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter. Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us”(Romans 8:35-37).
Life may be filled with adversities; but the Word says, you’re more than a conqueror through Christ. This should give you comfort, peace and joy. You’re living in the victory of Christ. He assured us of victory over crises and challenges when He said, “These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulations: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world” (John 16:33).
“Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world” (1 John 4:4). You’ve been lifted over and above the corrupting influences of this world.
Our opening verse states clearly that neither tribulation, distress, persecution, famine, nakedness, peril nor sword could separate you from the love of God. Then it concludes by saying you’re more than a conqueror. Being more than a conqueror means you conquered in Christ before the foundation of the earth. Hallelujah!
There’s nothing to struggle with or try to overcome anymore. When He arose from the grave, a victor, a champion, you were in Him.
Don’t allow the circumstances of life make you a victim. You were born into the victorious life in Christ: “Now thanks be unto God, which always causeth us to triumph in Christ, and maketh manifest the savour of his knowledge by us in every place” (2 Corinthians 2:14).
CONFESSION
Now thanks be unto God, who always causes me to triumph in Christ, and make manifest the savour of His knowledge in every place! Thank you for my victorious life in Christ! I live in triumph over circumstances, in total fulfillment, joy, glory and dominion, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
