Created For His Glory
“그의 신기한 능력으로 생명과 경건에 속한 모든 것을 우리에게 주셨으니 이는 자기의 영광과 덕으로써 우리를 부르신 이를 앎으로 말미암음이라”(벧후 1:3)
오늘의 본문 구절에서 밑줄 친 부분을 주목해 보십시오. 하나님은 우리를 영광과 덕으로 부르셨습니다. 덕은 탁월함을 의미합니다. 하나님은 당신을 영광과 탁월함의 삶으로 인도하셨습니다. 하나님께서 당신에게 주신 삶을 누리기 위해 당신이 해야 할 일은 그분의 말씀 안에 사는 것뿐입니다! 이것이 바로 그리스도 안에 있는 유업 가운데 살고 삶을 충만하게 누리는 비결입니다.
주님께서 당신에게 주지 않으셨거나 당신을 위해 아직 하시지 않은 일은 없습니다. 에베소서 1:3은 말합니다. “찬송하리로다 하나님 곧 우리 주 예수 그리스도의 아버지께서 그리스도 안에서 하늘에 속한 모든 신령한 복을 우리에게 주시되” 그분은 이미 당신이 상상할 수 있는 모든 축복을 주셨습니다. 이것은 우리가 오늘의 본문 구절에서 읽은 내용과 일치합니다.
그러므로 당신의 삶은 날마다, 어디에서나, 언제나 주님께 찬양과 영광과 감사를 드리는 삶이어야 합니다. 주님은 당신에게 초월적인 삶, 즉 우리를 사탄, 어둠, 질병, 아픔, 실패, 패배, 죽음보다 우월하도록 만드는 승리하는 삶을 주셨습니다. 이는 이 세상 너머에 있는 삶입니다!
이 놀라운 삶은 복음을 통해 의의 선물과 함께 그리스도 안에서 우리에게 주어졌습니다. 예수님의 우리를 대신한 희생은 우리를 영광의 삶으로 인도했습니다. 성경은 선지자들이 그리스도께서 받으실 고난과 그 후에 받으실 영광에 대해 증언했다고 말합니다(벧전 1:11).
그리스도께서는 당신이 영광 가운데 살도록 고난을 받으셨습니다. 당신은 지금 그 영광 안에 있습니다. 하나님을 송축합니다!
예를 들어, 당신의 몸에 문제가 있다면 무슨 문제이든 상관없이 그 문제에 대해 말씀을 사용하십시오. 당신은 언제나 그리고 어디에서나 승리한다고 선포하십시오.

사랑하는 아버지, 내 영 안에 있는 그리스도의 생명과 나를 아버지와 하나되게 하심에, 그리고 내 삶에 완전함과 탁월함을 주심에 감사드립니다. 내 삶은 아버지의 영광을 위한 것이며, 나는 오늘 성령의 다스림으로 기능합니다. 예수 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘.

CREATED FOR HIS GLORY
“According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue” (2 Peter 1:3).
Notice our underlined part in our theme verse; God has called us to glory and virtue. Virtue means excellence. He’s brought you into a life of glory and excellence. All you have to do to enjoy the life He’s given you is to live in His Word! That’s the key to living in your inheritance in Christ and enjoying life to the full.
There’s nothing the Lord hasn’t given you or done for you already. Ephesians 1:3 says, “Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ.” He has already granted you every blessing you could ever imagine. This is in sync with what we read in our opening verse.
Your life, therefore, should be one of praise, glory, and thanksgiving to the Lord every day, everywhere, and at all times. He’s given you the transcendent life; the overcoming life that makes us superior to Satan, darkness, disease, sickness, failure, defeat, and death; life that’s beyond this world!
This extraordinary life, along with the gift of righteousness, was delivered to us in Christ, through the Gospel. His vicarious sacrifice in our behalf ushered us into the glory-life. The Bible tells us that the prophets of old testified of the sufferings of Christ and the glory that should follow (1 Peter 1:11).
Christ suffered so that you would live in the glory. You’re in that glory now. Blessed be God!
If, for example, you’ve had problems in your physical body, regardless of what it is, use the Word against it. Declare that you’re triumphant always and in every place.
CONFESSION
Dear Father, I thank you for the life of Christ in my spirit that’s made me one with you and brought perfection and excellence into my life. My life is for your glory, and I function by the dominion of the Spirit, today, in Jesus Name. Amen!
