신성한 본성을 가지고 태어났습니다
Born With The Divine Nature
“이로써 그 보배롭고 지극히 큰 약속을 우리에게 주사 이 약속으로 말미암아 너희가 정욕 때문에 세상에서 썩어질 것을 피하여 신성한 성품에 참여하는 자가 되게 하려 하셨느니라”(벧후 1:4)
신성한 본성에 참여하는 자라는 의미는 우리가 하나님과 같은 종류의 연합이라는 것입니다. 이것은 우리가 “되는” 것이 아니라 그렇게 태어났습니다. 당신은 거듭날 때 하나님의 생명과 본성을 가지고 태어났습니다. 그렇기 때문에 당신은 하나님을 기쁘시게 하는 것이 어렵지 않습니다. 그분의 생명이 당신 안에 있으므로 당신은 고군분투할 필요가 없습니다.
여전히 어떤 사람들은 “더 나은 그리스도인”이 되기 위해서 애씁니다. 이는 그들이 아직 기독교와 예수 그리스도의 참된 복음을 이해하지 못하기 때문입니다. 당신은 완벽해지기 위해 더 발전할 것이 없습니다. 당신 안에 있는 생명은 하나님과 같은 생명입니다. 그 생명은 당신이 부모님으로부터 받은 인간의 생명을 완전히 대체했습니다. 당신이 부모님으로부터 태어난 이후에 사람이 되기 위해서 더 이상 할 수 있는 일이 없듯이, 거듭난 이후에 당신이 신성한 본성의 참여자가 되기 위해 더 해야 할 일이 없습니다.
어린 아이가 아직 걷지 못하거나 말하지 못할지라도 당신은 그 아이를 보며 “이 아이는 사람이 아니구나.”라고 말하지 않습니다. 오히려 당신은 아이에게 어떻게 걷고 말할 수 있는지 가르치기 시작할 것입니다. 우리가 그리스도 안에서 가지고 있는 생명도 마찬가지입니다. 당신은 오직 한 가지 본성만 가지고 있으며 그것은 신성한 본성입니다. 그리고 그 본성은 더 발전할 것이 없습니다. 당신이 해야 할 일은 하나님의 말씀을 공부하고 신성한 생명을 사는 방법을 배우는 것입니다. 그리스도인의 삶을 사십시오!
하나님의 말씀, 하나님의 방식, 믿음의 삶을 배울 때 당신의 영이 세워질 것입니다. 당신의 삶이 더 나아질 것입니다. 그러나 당신은 지금보다 더 의로워질 수 없습니다. 당신의 의는 그리스도의 의이기 때문입니다. 의는 신성한 본성입니다. 새로운 탄생 때 당신의 영에 주어진 하나님의 본성입니다. 성경에 따르면 당신은 예수님이 의로우신 것처럼 의롭습니다. 예수님이 당신에게 그분의 의를 주셨기 때문입니다. 이것에 대해 깊이 생각해보고 이 진리가 당신 안에 생각하고 살아가는 새로운 방식을 창조하게 하십시오.
고백
나는 하나님과 같은 생명 곧 신성한 본성을 가지고 있습니다. 하나님의 생명은 의를 행하며 의의 열매를 맺게 하는 본성과 능력입니다. 나는 예수 그리스도 안에서 하나님의 작품이자 그분의 완전한 아름다움입니다. 나는 오늘 그리고 날마다 나의 신성한 본성을 인식하며 삽니다. 나는 사탄과 그의 흑암의 세력을 다스립니다. 예수 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘.

BORN WITH THE DIVINE NATURE
Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust (2 Peter 1:4).
Being partakers of the divine nature means we’re associates of the God-kind; it’s not something we “became”; we were born that way. You were born with the life and nature of God when you were born again. This is the reason it’s easy for you to please God; you don’t have to struggle, because His life is in you.
Some are still struggling, trying to become “better Christians”; that’s because they haven’t understood Christianity and the true Gospel of Jesus Christ. You can’t improve on perfect. The life in you is the God-life;
it completely supplanted the human life you received from your parents. Just as there was nothing more for you to do to become more human after you were born of your parents, there’s nothing more required after you’re born again for you to be a partaker of the divine nature.
Even when a child can’t walk or talk yet, you don’t
say, “This child isn’t human.” Rather, you start teaching the child how to walk and talk. It’s the same with the life that we have in Christ. You have only one nature, which is the divine nature, and it can’t be improved upon. What you have to do is study the Word of God and learn to live the divine life; live the Christian life!
As you learn God’s Word, the ways of God and the life of faith, certainly, your spirit will be built.
Your life will be improved; but you’ll not become more righteous, because your righteousness is the righteousness of Christ. Righteousness is the divine nature; it’s the nature of God imparted to your spirit at the New Birth. According to the Bible, you’re as righteous as Jesus is, because He gave you His righteousness. Think deeply on this and let it create in you a new way of thinking and living.
CONFESSION
I have the God-life, the divine nature, the nature and ability to do right and produce works and fruits of righteousness. I’m the workmanship of God in Christ Jesus, His perfection of beauty. I walk conscious of my divine nature today and always. I reign in life over Satan and his cohorts of darkness, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
