신성한 “로고스”
THE DIVINE “LOGOS”
“태초에 말씀이 계시니라 이 말씀이 하나님과 함께 계셨으니 이 말씀은 곧 하나님이시니라”(요1:1)
오늘의 본문 구절에 나와있는 “말씀”은 그리스어로 “로고스(Logos)”이며, 이 단어는 하나님의 말씀이 곧 하나님의 의견, 생각, 아이디어, 교리, 글, 이야기, 지혜, 지식, 계획 그리고 목적이라는 의미입니다. 따라서 말씀에 대한 우리의 지식과 이해가 아주 중요합니다.
하나님께서 그분의 말씀을 당신에게 말씀하실 때, 혹 하나님께서 하신 말씀이 오직 “그러므로 너희는 가라” 뿐이더라도 그 말씀이 모든 것에서 당신의 삶을 인도하고 보호할 것입니다. 이는 하나님과 그분의 모든 것이 말씀 (신성한 로고스) 안에 있기 때문입니다. 할렐루야!
하나님의 로고스는 만물을 만들었습니다. “만물이 그로 말미암아 지은 바 되었으니 지은 것이 하나도 그가 없이는 된 것이 없느니라.” 여기서 우리는 사도 요한이 하나님의 로고스에 인격을 부여했음을 발견합니다. 사도 요한은 “그것” 대신에 인칭 대명사 “그”를 사용했습니다. 다음 14절에서는 이 점이 더욱 분명해집니다. 성경은 말합니다. “말씀이 육신이 되어 우리 가운데 거하시매 (우리가 그 영광을 보니 아버지의 독생자의 영광이요) 은혜와 진리가 충만하더라.”
하나님의 모든 아이디어, 모든 지식, 모든 지혜가 어떤 모습일지 상상해보십시오. 하나님이 어떤 분이신지 상상해보십시오. 그분의 성품과 자질, 그분이 가지고 계신 모든 통찰력, 곧 신성한 로고스 안에 있는 모든 것이 육신이 되어 우리 가운데 거하셨습니다. 그분이 예수님이십니다! 선포된 말씀 곧 “말씀”이 육신을 입은 인간이 되셨습니다.
예수님은 신성한 로고스이십니다. 성경 시대 사람들이 지나가는 예수님을 봤다면 그들은 하나님의 생각의 총체를 보았던 것입니다. 예수님은 아버지의 뜻의 총체였습니다. 그분은 육신으로 오신 하나님의 말씀이었습니다. 요한은 말했습니다. “우리가 그의 영광을 보니 아버지의 독생자의 영광이요 은혜와 진리가 충만하더라!”

사랑하는 하늘에 계신 아버지, 말씀 안에 담겨있는 당신의 의견, 생각, 아이디어, 글, 교리, 이야기, 계시, 이해에 감사드립니다. 나는 성경에 있는 신성한 진리와 지혜를 공부하고 묵상합니다. 당신의 말씀은 내가 모든 상황을 다스리며 모든 일에 탁월하도록 하십니다. 예수 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘.

THE DIVINE “LOGOS”
“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God”(John 1:1).
“Word” in our opening scripture above is the Greek, “Logos.” It describes God’s Word presented to us as His opinions, thoughts, ideas, doctrines, treatise, accounts, wisdom, knowledge, plans and purposes. Thus, our knowledge and understanding of the Word is so crucial.
When God speaks His Word to you, even if all He says to you is, “Go ye therefore”; that phrase will guide and guard your life in everything. That’s because all of Him and all that He represents are in His Word (the divine logos). Hallelujah!
This Logos of God, made all things: “The same was in the beginning with God; All things were made by Him, without Him was not anything made that was made.” Suddenly, we observe that the apostle John gives a personality to the Logos of God; he uses the personal pronoun “Him,” instead of “it.” Then in verse 14, it becomes even clearer; it says, “And the Word was made (became) flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.”
Imagine all of God’s ideas, all of God’s knowledge, all of God’s wisdom, all of who He is; in personality, in quality, all of His ability to perceive—all of that in the divine Logos—became flesh and dwelt among us. This is Jesus! The Word that was spoken, which was “speech,” became a man; took on humanity!
Jesus is the divine Logos. When they saw Him in Bible days, as He walked by, they saw the totality of the mind of God. He was the totality of the will of the Father. He was God’s message in flesh. John said, “We beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth!”
PRAYER
Dear heavenly Father, I thank you for your opinions, thoughts, ideas, doctrines, treatise, accounts, revelations, and comprehension that’s encapsulated in the Word. I study and meditate on the divine truths and wisdom in the Scriptures, your Word puts me over and above all situations, causing me to excel in everything, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
