“그 작은 자가 천 명을 이루겠고 그 약한 자가 강국을 이룰 것이라 때가 되면 나 여호와가 속히 이루리라”(사 60:22)
정말 감동적인 성경구절입니다! 이사야 선지자가 “그 작은 자가 천 명이다.”라고 말하지 않은 것에 주목하십시오. 오히려 성령님은 정확하게 이렇게 말씀하셨습니다. “그 작은 자가 천 명을 이루겠고…” 이는 성장, 변화, 특정 단계에서 다음 단계로의 이동을 의미합니다. 그것은 작다고 일컬어지는 자도 천 명이라는 것을 의미합니다. 천 명이라는 숫자가 얼마나 큰지 상상해 보십시오. 주님은 언제나 우리의 성장과 번영에 대해 관심을 가지고 계시다는 사실을 입증하는 것입니다.

우리는 번영을 좇으며 살거나 추구하지 않습니다. 우리는 무한하며, 측량할 수 없고, 셀 수 없는 부를 가진 참된 하나님의 자녀라는 사실이 진리이기 때문입니다. 우리는 그분께 속했습니다. 번영을 믿고 그 안에서 행하는 그리스도인과 그렇지 않은 그리스도인의 차이는 다음과 같습니다. 전자는 자신과 하나님이 실제로 연결되었음을 믿습니다. 실제로 연결되었기 때문에 그들은 번영을 추구할 필요가 없고, 번영이 자연스럽게 그들 안에서 역사하게 됩니다.
그러나 후자는 이를 이해하지 못합니다. 따라서 끊임없이 번영을 추구하고 번영을 이루기 위해 노력하지만, 번영이 그를 피해가므로 그는 번영에 대해 비판합니다. 번영하고 싶어 하지 않는 사람은 없습니다. 이는 사실입니다! 많은 사람들이 일하고 발전하기 위해 노력하는 이유는 자신과 가족, 사랑하는 사람들을 돌볼 수 있고 다른 사람들을 돕는 더 나은 수단을 갖기 위해서 입니다. 모든 사람은 자기 자신뿐 아니라 다른 사람들을 도울 수 있는 사람이 되고 싶어 하는데, 이를 가능케 하는 수단이 바로 번영입니다.
하나님 말씀의 진리를 공부하고, 말씀의 단순한 메시지를 당신의 심령 안에 믿음으로 받아들이십시오. 성경에 기록된 번영하고, 영향력 있고, 능력 있고, 성공적인 삶을 살며, 자신들의 날이 끝날 때까지 의 안에서 하나님을 섬긴 사람들의 이야기를 읽어보십시오. 그들은 평생 훌륭한 삶을 살았습니다. 성장과 번영을 받아들이고 그 안에서 행하십시오. 그것은 신성과 우리가 연결되므로 얻게 되는 것입니다.

YOUR CONNECTION WITH DIVINITY
A little one shall become a thousand, and a small one a strong nation: I the LORD will hasten it in his time (Isaiah 60:22).
What an inspiring scripture! Observe that the prophet Isaiah didn’t say, “A little one is a thousand”; rather, the Spirit so accurately puts it; He says, “A little one shall become a thousand….” It does spell growth, change, going from one level to another. That means, when a little one is said to be “little,” it’s talking about a thousand. Imagine how big that is?proof positive that the Lord is ever interested in our growth and prosperity.
How would you read this and still have doubts about your greatness and prosperity being God’s idea and desire? 3 John 1:2 says, “Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.” The Bible is replete with information on the power and the glory of God, the honour, the majesty, the splendour of our Heavenly Father and His will to share what He’s got with His children. This is the glorious life of prosperity we’ve been called to and that’s the basis of our prosperity.
We aren’t running after or seeking prosperity, because the truth is, we’re children of this true God whose wealth is limitless, inestimable and unquantifiable; we belong to Him. The difference between Christians who believe in and walk in prosperity and those who don’t is this: the former believe in their true connection with God, knowing that since it’s real, they don’t need to seek prosperity;
it just works in them.
The latter group, however, don’t understand it;
hence, they keep seeking it, trying hard to get it. And because it eludes them, they criticize it. There’s no human being who doesn’t want to prosper. That’s a fact! The reason many work and continually seek to improve themselves is so they could have better means to take care of themselves, their families and loved ones, and help other people. Every human person wants to be able to do something, not only for himself but for others, and that’s prosperity.
Study the truths of God’s Word and accept its simple message with faith in your heart. Read about men and women described to us in the Bible who were prosperous, influential, powerful, successful, and served God in righteousness till their days were over; they had a great life all the way. Accept growth and prosperity and walk in it. It’s a function of our connection with divinity.
CONFESSION
I take advantage of my inextricable connection with my heavenly Father; all that belongs to Him belongs to me; my prosperity is of the Spirit and it’s limitless, inestimable and unquantifiable. I’m established in the Lord’s righteousness; therefore, I flourish like the palm tree. I walk in wealth and abundance always.
