성령님을 힘입은 승리
Victory By The Spirit
“그러나 이 모든 일에 우리를 사랑하시는 이로 말미암아 우리가 넉넉히 이기느니라”(롬 8:37)
출애굽기 17장에서 우리는 여호수아가 아말렉을 어떻게 무찔렀는지에 대한 매우 고무적인 것을 읽습니다. 여호수아가 아말렉과 싸우는 동안 모세는 아론과 훌과 함께 산 정상으로 올라가 기도를 했습니다.
전투가 진행되는 동안, 아론과 훌은 모세가 손을 들 때마다 이스라엘이 아말렉을 이기며, 손을 내리면 아말렉이 이긴다는 것을 발견했습니다. 그래서 그들은 모세를 돌 위에 앉게 하고, 그의 양편에 서서 모세를 도와 그의 손을 들어주었습니다. “…여호수아가 칼날로 아말렉과 그 백성을 쳐서 무찌르니라”(출 17:13)
사람의 손과 진행 중인 전쟁 간에 어떤 관계가 있을 수 있었을까요? 이것은 영적인 법칙이 작용한 것이었습니다. 이것은 성령님을 힘입은 승리였습니다. 모세가 하늘을 향해 손을 올렸을 때 영적으로 어떤 일이 일어나고 있었던 것입니다.
우리의 손에 승리와 능력이 있습니다. 바울은 말했습니다. “그러므로 각처에서 남자들이…거룩한 손을 들어 기도하기를 원하노라”(딤전 2:8) 손을 드는 것을 연습하십시오. 그러면 올 한 해 당신의 삶에서 더 많은 성공과 승리를 보게 될 것입니다. 기도와 경배 가운데 그분께 마음을 집중하면서 주님께 손을 드는 법을 배우십시오. 그것은 당신이 지속적인 승리와 영광이 늘 증가하는 삶을 살게 하는 성령님의 전략입니다.
당신에게 어떤 일이 일어나든지 상관없습니다. 성령의 능력으로 당신은 이길 수 있습니다. 당신의 손은 비어있지 않습니다. 당신이 손을 들어 올릴 때, 그것은 하나님의 손이 됩니다. 홍해에서 하나님은 모세에게 “…손을 바다 위로 내밀어 그것이 갈라지게 하라”(출 14:16)라고 말씀하셨습니다. 당신이 손을 들 때, 하나님이 응답하십니다. 오, 하나님을 송축합니다!
고린도후서 2:14는 이렇게 말씀합니다. “항상 우리를 그리스도 안에서 이기게 하시고 우리로 말미암아 각처에서 그리스도를 아는 냄새를 나타내시는 하나님께 감사하노라” 당신의 승리는 이미 결정되었습니다. 당신이 해야 하는 전부는 그 빛 가운데 걷는 것뿐입니다. 신성함을 경험하는 데 당신이 담당할 역할을 알고 행하기 위해 말씀을 공부하십시오.

영원한 승리의 행진 속에서 저를 항상 인도해 주시는 하나님께 감사드립니다! 저는 주님과 그분의 강한 능력 안에서 강합니다. 성령님의 지혜가 저의 발걸음을 인도하므로 저는 성령의 능력으로 날마다 승리하고, 모든 도전은 제 앞에서 무너집니다. 예수 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘.

VICTORY BY THE SPIRIT
Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us (Romans 8:37).
In Exodus Chapter 17, we read something very inspiring about how Joshua defeated Amalek. Moses had gone with Aaron and Hur to the top of the mountain with the rod of God in his hand, as Joshua battled the Amalekites.
As the battle progressed, Aaron and Hur noticed that every time Moses held up his hand, Israel prevailed in the battle against Amalek. However, when his hand went down, Amalek prevailed. They decided therefore to support Moses by lifting his hands on either side, while Moses sat on a stone. Then, the Bible says, “… Joshua discomfited Amalek and his people with the edge of the sword” (Exodus 17:13).
What could have been the connection between a man’s hands and an ongoing battle? This was a spiritual law at work. It wasn’t enough to have the rod in his hand; he needed to lift his hand. Something was happening in the spirit as those hands were lifted towards heaven.
There’s victory and power through our hands. Paul said, “I will therefore that men pray every where, lifting up holy hands…” (1 Timothy 2:8). Practise this, and you’ll see more successes and victories in your life this year. Learn to lift your hands to the Lord as you set your mind on Him in prayer and worship; it’s a strategy of the Spirit for your continual victory and life of ever-increasing glory.
It doesn’t matter what comes against you; you can win by the power of the Holy Spirit. Your hands aren’t empty. When you lift your hands, they’re God’s hands. At the Red Sea, God said to Moses, “…stretch out thine hand over the sea, and divide it…” (Exodus 14:16). When you lift your hands, God responds. Oh, blessed be God!
2 Corinthians 2:14 says, “Now thanks be unto God, which always causeth us to triumph in Christ, and maketh manifest the savour of his knowledge by us in every place.” Your victory has been settled; all you have to do is walk in the light of it. Study the Word to know and play your role in the divine experience.
PRAYER
Thanks be unto God who always leads me in perpetual victory parade. I’m strong in the Lord, and in the power of His might. I win every day by the power of the Holy Spirit, for my steps are ordered by His wisdom, and every challenge crumbles before me, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
