Things Have Changed
“또 이르시되 너희는 온 천하에 다니며 만민에게 복음을 전파하라”(막 16:15)
주 예수님께서는 복음 전파를 위해 우리를 보내셨습니다. 복음은 좋은 소식입니다. “하나님께서 당신을 위해 상황을 바꿔주실 것입니다”라는 사실만 알고 있다면 그것은 정확히는 좋은 소식이 아닙니다. 그것은 소망입니다. 그러나 좋은 소식은 “상황이 바뀌었습니다” 입니다. 그러므로 무언가 바뀌도록 소망하기를 멈추십시오. 이미 바뀌었기 때문입니다! 할렐루야!
이는 고린도후서 5:17이 말하는 바를 더 잘 이해하게 할 것입니다. “그런즉 누구든지 그리스도 안에 있으면 새로운 피조물이라 이전 것은 지나갔으니 보라 새 것이 되었도다” 당신은 능력을 찾는 약한 자가 아닙니다. 주님께서 당신의 능력이 되셨기 때문입니다(시 27:1).
아마도 거듭나기 전 당신은 아팠을 지도 모릅니다. 그러나 이제 달라졌습니다! 이전 것은 지나갔습니다. 당신은 그리스도 안에서 질병에 걸리지 않는, 썩지 않는 생명을 가진 새로운 피조물입니다.
당신의 재정에도 같은 변화가 일어났습니다. 당신이 그리스도 안으로 들어갔을 때 당신의 상태와 재산은 바뀌었습니다. 고린도후서 8:9은 말합니다. “우리 주 예수 그리스도의 은혜를 너희가 알거니와 부요하신 이로서 너희를 위하여 가난하게 되심은 그의 가난함으로 말미암아 너희를 부요하게 하려 하심이라” 당신은 부요한 자가 되었습니다. 하나님께 영광 드립니다!
또한 당신은 이제 그리스도 안에 있으므로 죄로 인한 문제를 가지고 있지 않습니다. 당신은 새 생명 가운데 행하도록 의롭게 되었습니다. “그러므로 우리가 그의 죽으심과 합하여 세례를 받음으로 그와 함께 장사되었나니 이는 아버지의 영광으로 말미암아 그리스도를 죽은 자 가운데서 살리심과 같이 우리로 또한 새 생명 가운데서 행하게 하려 함이라”(롬 6:4)
거듭났을 때 당신의 죄의 본성은 하나님의 의의 본성으로 대체되었습니다. 이제 당신은 의로울 뿐만 아니라 그리스도 예수 안에서 하나님의 의입니다. 이 빛 가운데 있는 당신 자신을 보십시오. 당신은 단순히 죄에서 해방된 것이 아닙니다. 당신은 생명, 죄 없는 본성을 가지고 있습니다.
이런 것들은 거듭난 자의 실재입니다. 이 중 당신이 노력해서 성취한 것은 하나도 없습니다. 그리스도께서 행하신 일의 결과일 뿐입니다. 그리고 이것이 바로 좋은 소식입니다. 할렐루야!
고백
나는 계속해서 그리스도 안에 있는 나의 정체성과 유업의 실재 가운데 삽니다. 나는 의롭고, 건강하고, 번영하고, 승리합니다. 나는 새 생명 가운데 행하며 그리스도의 충만한 축복을 누립니다.

THINGS HAVE CHANGED
“And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature” (Mark 16:15).
The Lord Jesus sent us to preach the Gospel; the Gospel is good news. It’s not exactly good news when all you know or hear is “God is going to change things for you”; that’s hope. But the good news is that “things have changed.” So, stop hoping for things to change because they’ve already changed! Hallelujah!
This should further help you understand what the Bible says in 2 Corinthians 5:17, “Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.” You’re not the weak seeking strength. The Lord Himself has become your strength (Psalm 27:1).
Perhaps you were sickly before you were born again; now, that has changed! Old things are passed away. You’re a new creature in Christ with an incorruptible life that’s sickness-proof.
The same change occurred in your finances. Your state and estate changed when you came into Christ. 2 Corinthians 8:9 says, “For ye know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that, though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, that ye through his poverty might be rich.” You’ve been made rich. Glory to God!
Furthermore, you don’t have a problem with sin now that you’re in Christ. You’ve been justified to walk in newness of life: “Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life” (Romans 6:4).
The sin-nature was supplanted by God’s nature of righteousness when you were born again. You’re now, not just righteous, but also the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. See yourself in this light. You weren’t merely set free from sin; you have a life, a nature that’s sin-free.
These are some of the realities for the one who’s born again. You didn’t do anything to achieve any of these; it’s simply the result of what Christ has done; and that’s good news. Hallelujah!
CONFESSION
I continually walk in the reality of my heritage and identity in Christ. I’m righteous, healthy, prosperous and victorious. I walk in the newness of life, enjoying the fullness of the blessings of Christ.
