당신이 말하지 않으면 그 일은 일어나지 않을 것입니다

“여호와여 주의 말씀은 영원히 하늘에 굳게 섰사오며”(시 119:89)
여호수아 1:8은 말씀을 선포하는 것의 능력을 알려줍니다. “이 율법책을 네 입에서 떠나지 말게 하며…” 이것은 성공을 위한 하나님의 방식입니다. 삶의 모든 영역 곧 재정, 건강, 가족, 학업 등에서의 성공은 당신의 입에 달려있습니다. 예수님은 마가복음 11:23에서 말씀하셨습니다. “내가 진실로 너희에게 이르노니 누구든지 이 산더러 들리어 바다에 던져지라 하며 그 말하는 것이 이루어질 줄 믿고 마음에 의심하지 아니하면 그대로 되리라” 예수님은 고백의 중요성을 강조하셨습니다.
당신은 입을 사용하여 당신이 믿는 것 안으로 자신을 쏘아 올리게 됩니다. 성경은 하나님의 말씀은 살아있고 활력이 있다고 말합니다(히 4:12). 성경책에 적혀 있는 말씀이 아니라, 믿는 그리스도인의 입술에 있는 말씀은 살아있고 활력이 있습니다! 골리앗을 이긴 다윗의 승리를 생각해 보십시오. 이스라엘에게 주어진 말씀을 통해 다윗은 실패할 수 없다는 것을 알고 있었습니다. 누구든지 이스라엘과 전쟁하는 자는 이스라엘과 함께 하는 전능하신 하나님께 맞서야 했기 때문입니다.
그러나 다윗은 지식을 가지고 있는 것만으로는 충분하지 않다는 것을 알았습니다. 그래서 그는 그 지식을 선포했습니다. 다윗은 골리앗에게 말했습니다. “오늘 여호와께서 너를 내 손에 넘기시리니 내가 너를 쳐서 네 목을 베고 블레셋 군대의 시체를 오늘 공중의 새와 땅의 들짐승에게 주어 온 땅으로 이스라엘에 하나님이 계신 줄 알게 하겠고”(삼상 17:46) 다윗은 말했습니다! 그는 골리앗에게 어떤 일이 일어날지 반복해서 말했고, 그가 말한 바가 실제로 일어났습니다!
이것이 선포된 말씀의 능력입니다. 당신이 말하지 않는다면 그 일은 일어나지 않을 것입니다. 당신은 이 땅에서 하나님을 나타내는 자이므로 그분은 당신의 고백을 필요로 하십니다. 그분의 말씀은 하늘에 영원히 세워져 있습니다. 그러나 그 말씀이 믿음 가득한 선포를 통해 당신의 삶과 이 땅에 세워지게 하는 것은 당신의 책임입니다. 하나님을 찬양합니다!
고백
하나님의 말씀은 내 마음과 입에 있으며, 그 말한 것의 결과를 만들어냅니다. 나는 오늘 그리고 항상 평안, 번영, 신성한 건강, 보호, 진보, 초자연적인 성공과 축복 가운데 걷습니다. 나는 하나님의 상속자이자 그리스도와 함께 한 공동 상속자입니다. 세상은 내게 속했습니다! 하나님을 송축합니다!

IF YOU DON’T SAY IT, IT’LL NOT HAPPEN
For ever, O LORD, thy word is settled in heaven (Psalm 119:89).
Joshua 1:8 reveals the power of the spoken Word. It says, “This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth….” This is God’s recipe for success: success in every area of your life—job, finances, health, family, academics, etc.—is in your mouth. Jesus said in Mark 11:23, “For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain… and…shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.” He placed the premium on words.
With the mouth, you catapult yourself into that thing that you’ve believed. The Bible says the Word of God is living and active (Hebrews 4:12 NIV), but not on the pages of your Bible. The Word is living and active on the lips of a believing Christian! Imagine the victory of David over Goliath: it happened because of the words David spoke. He had known from the Word given to Israel that it was impossible for them to be defeated, because anyone at war with Israel would have their chief ally—God Almighty—to contend with.
However, David understood that having the knowledge wasn’t enough; so, he followed it with proclamations. He said to Goliath, “This day will the LORD deliver thee into mine hand; and I will smite thee, and take thine head from thee; and I will give the carcases of the host of the Philistines this day unto the fowls of the air, and to the wild beasts of the earth; that all the earth may know that there is a God in Israel” (1 Samuel 17:46). David was talking! He said again and again what would happen to Goliath, and it happened exactly as he had said!
That’s the power of the spoken word. If you don’t say it, it won’t happen. God needs your words to act upon, because you represent Him in the earth. His Word is forever settled in heaven; however, it’s your responsibility to settle it in your life and in the earth through your faith-filled affirmations. Praise God!
CONFESSION
