Have No Excuse For Missing Church Services
“모이기를 폐하는 어떤 사람들의 습관과 같이 하지 말고 오직 권하여 그 날이 가까움을 볼수록 더욱 그리하자”(히 10:25)
어떤 젊은이가 빠듯한 근무시간 때문에 약 4년간 교회 예배에 참석하지 않았던 이야기를 했습니다. 더욱이 그가 사는 곳 근처에는 지역 교회가 없었습니다. 그렇더라도 예배를 드리지 않는 이유가 되지 않습니다. 그리스도인이라면, 당신은 지역교회의 성도가 되어야 마땅하므로, 교회 예배에 빠진 것에 대해 변명하지 마십시오.
오랫동안 교회에 참석하지 못하게 하는 특수한 상황이나 도전이 있다면 그런 상황을 풀어갈 방법이 있습니다. 당신은 활용할 수 있는 몇 가지 인터넷 생중계를 통해 교회예배에 참여할 수 있습니다. 거리가 너무 떨어져 있거나 인터넷 예배에 참여할 수 없을 경우, 당신은 모임을 개척하도록 지역교회에 요청할 수 있습니다. 당신은 자원해서 당신의 집을 모임장소로 활용할 수도 있습니다.
더 나아가 분명히 조정자가 될 정도로 영적으로 성숙할 경우 그것 역시 좋습니다. 당신의 지역교회의 담당자에게 알리십시오. 그리스도인이 교회 예배에 계속 빠질 만큼 타당한 이유가 없습니다.
교회는 소망과 구원과 해결의 장소입니다. 교회는 하나님의 말씀을 가르치는 곳인데, 하나님의 말씀을 아는 지식이 삶에서 당신을 성공하게 해주기 때문에 그곳은 해결의 장소입니다. 교회에서 당신은 믿음이 강하게 세워지며 다른 신자들은 물론이고 성령님과도 풍성한 교제의 기회도 갖습니다.
가이사의 궁궐에 있는 자들이 교회에 나올 수가 없었을 때 사도 바울은 무엇을 했습니까? 그는 가이사의 궁궐에서 교회를 시작하도록 도와주었습니다. 그 점을 생각해보십시오! 빌립보서 4:22에서 그는 가이사 집안의 성도들을 언급했습니다. 우리도 여러 가지 범법행위로 투옥되거나 여러 해 동안 감옥에 갇혀있는 자들에게 동일한 일을 합니다. 이들이 그리스도 안에서 교제하고 성장하는 법을 배우도록 우리는 감옥 내에 “교회”를 세웁니다.
계속해서 교회 예배에 빠질 핑계는 없습니다. 그러므로 주 예수님처럼(눅 4:16) 교회에 항상 있어야 할 문화와 절차와 개인적인 훈련을 받으십시오.

저는 제 삶이 말씀과 지속적으로 업그레이드되고 있는 살아계시는 하나님의 교회의 적극적인 성원이 되어 무척 기쁩니다. 아버지의 임재와 교제 가운데 저는 복음의 진리 안에서 계속해서 세워지고 강해지며 확고해집니다. 예수 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘.

HAVE NO EXCUSE FOR MISSING CHURCH SERVICES
Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching (Hebrews 10:25).
A young man told the story of how he hadn’t attended church services for about four years, due to his tight work schedule. Moreover, there was no local assembly close to where he lived. That’s unacceptable. If you’re a Christian, you MUST be a member of a local church, and have no excuse for missing church services. If there’re peculiar situations or challenges that hinder church attendance protractedly, there’re ways to go about them. You can participate live in church services through several online platforms that are available. If the constraint is distance or even the unavailability of internet service, you can request from your local assembly to pioneer a branch where you are. You can even volunteer your home as the venue. Moreover, if you’re sure you have the spiritual maturity to be the coordinator, that’s okay too; just let the authorities in your local assembly know. There’s no reason good enough for any Christian to keep skipping church services. The church is a place of hope, succour and solution. It’s a place of solution because in church, the Word of God is taught, and the knowledge of God’s Word is what puts you over in life. In church, your faith is built strong, and you also have the opportunity for rich fellowship with other believers and the Holy Spirit. When those who were in Caesar’s house couldn’t come to church, what did the Apostle Paul do? He helped them start a church in Caesar’s palace. Think about that! And in Philippians 4:22 he made reference to the saints in Caesar’s household. We do the same for those who have been incarcerated for different offences and are serving jail terms that could span many years. We set up a “church” right inside the prison, so they’ll learn, fellowship and grow in Christ. There’s no excuse good enough for continually missing church services. So, like the Lord Jesus (Luke 4:16), have the culture, routine, and personal discipline to always be in church when you should.
Prayer
I’m so glad that I’m an active member of the church of the living God, where my life is constantly being upgraded with the Word. In your presence and fellowship, I’m continually built, strengthened and established in the truth of the Gospel, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
