“주의 말씀은 내 발에 등이요 내 길에 빛이니이다”(시 119:105)

살아계신 하나님의 교회는 진리의 기둥과 터입니다(딤전 3:15). 교회는 시스템, 구조, 원칙을 가지고 있습니다. 많은 사람이 이것을 이해하지 못하면 자신의 행동이 괜찮다고 생각하므로 잘못된 삶을 살고 자신이 바른 행동을 하고 있다고 생각할 수 있습니다. 당신이 무언가에 대해 느낌이 좋거나 평온하다고 해서 그것이 하나님께도 받아들여지는 것은 아닙니다.

하나님의 말씀은 여전히 최고의 인도자입니다. 당신에게 가장 중요한 것은 하나님이 그것에 대해 말씀하시는 바입니다. 하나님께서 당신을 안에서부터 인도하실 때마다 당신 안에 계신 하나님의 영이 하나님의 말씀으로 그 인도에 대해 증거하실 것입니다. 하나님은 이사야 30:21에서 말씀하셨습니다. “너희가 오른쪽으로 치우치든지 왼쪽으로 치우치든지 네 뒤에서 말소리가 네 귀에 들려 이르기를 이것이 바른 길이니 너희는 이리로 가라 할 것이며”

하나님의 말씀은 당신이 하나님께서 원하시는 것이 무엇인지 알게 합니다. 창세기에서 일어난 일을 떠올려 보십시오. 가인은 자신이 정한 제물을 하나님께 드리기로 선택했습니다. 그러나 아벨은 하나님의 뜻에 일치하는 제물을 하나님께 가져왔습니다. 그는 하나님의 지시를 따랐습니다.

가인의 제물은 거절당했고, 아벨의 제물은 받아들여졌습니다. 이는 우리가 그분을 위해 그리고 그분을 향해 어떻게 해야 하는지 얼마나 관심을 갖고 계시는지 보여줍니다. 당신이 잘못된 방식으로 살고 있었거나, 당신이 하던 모든 일이 하나님께 받아들여지지 않았다는 사실을 인생 후반부에 깨닫지 마십시오. 당신이 하나님을 기쁘시게 하고 있는지 혹은 당신이 하는 일이 옳은지 어떻게 알 수 있습니까? 바로 성경을 통해서 알 수 있습니다.

하나님의 말씀은 우리가 어떻게 살아야 하는지에 대해 분명합니다. 말씀은 당신의 완벽한 인도자입니다. 시편 기자는 말합니다. “주의 말씀은 내 발에 등이요 내 길에 빛이니이다”(시 119:105) 주님께서 요한복음 8:12에서 하신 말씀을 기억하십시오. “나는 세상의 빛이니 나를 따르는 자는 어둠에 다니지 아니하고 생명의 빛을 얻으리라” 어떻게 주님을 따를 수 있습니까?

말씀을 통해, 말씀으로, 말씀 안에서 따르십시오. 말씀을 따른다면 실수하지 않을 것입니다. 예수님께서 마태복음 22:29에서 하신 말씀에 따르면, 성경을 모르기 때문에 잘못을 하게 됩니다. “… 너희가 성경도, 하나님의 능력도 알지 못하는 고로 오해하였도다”

사랑하는 아버지, 나의 확실한 인도자가 되는 하나님의 말씀에 감사드리며, 항상 하나님의 완전한 뜻으로 나를 인도하시는 성령님께 감사드립니다. 하나님의 말씀은 내 심령을 밝혀 지혜롭게 행하게 하고, 의의 축복을 누리고, 그리스도 안에 있는 나의 목적을 성취하게 합니다. 예수 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘.

THE ULTIMATE GUIDE

“Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path” (Psalm 119:105).

The Church of the living God is the pillar and ground of the truth (1 Timothy 3:15). It has systems, structures, and principles. Except we understand them, many could live amiss and think they’re doing right just because they feel good about their actions. That you feel good or are at peace about something doesn’t make it acceptable to God.

The Word of God remains the ultimate guide. What should matter the most to you is what God says about anything. The Spirit of God inside you will always bear witness with His Word as He guides you from within. He said in Isaiah 30:21, “And thine ears shall hear a word behind thee, saying, This is the way, walk ye in it” (Isaiah 30:21).

God’s Word helps you know what God wants. Remember something that happened in the book of Genesis: Cain chose to bring to God an offering that he decided by himself. But Abel, on the other hand, brought to God an offering in accordance with God’s will. He followed God’s instructions.

Cain’s offering was rejected, while Abel’s offering was accepted. This shows how much God cares about how things are done for Him and towards Him. Don’t find out late in life that you were living the wrong way or that all you were doing was rejected by God. How can you know that you’re pleasing Him or that what you’re doing is right? It’s through the Scriptures.

The Word of God is clear as to how we must live; it’s your perfect guide. The Psalmist said, “Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path” (Psalm 119:105). Recall the words of the Master in John 8:12: “…I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.” How do you follow Him?

It’s through the Word, by the Word, and in the Word. Follow the Word and you’ll not make errors, for those that err, according to the words of Jesus in Matthew 22:29, do so because they don’t know the Scriptures: “…Ye do err, not knowing the scriptures….”

PRAYER

Dear Father, thank you for your Word that’s my sure guide, and the Holy Spirit who leads me in your perfect will always. Your Word illuminates my heart to deal wisely in life, enjoying the blessings of righteousness, and fulfilling my purpose in Christ, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

“그러면 무엇을 말하느냐 말씀이 네게 가까워 네 입에 있으며 네 마음에 있다 하였으니 곧 우리가 전파하는 믿음의 말씀이라 네가 만일 네 입으로 예수를 주로 시인하며 또 하나님께서 그를 죽은 자 가운데서 살리신 것을 네 마음에 믿으면 구원을 받으리라”(롬 10:8-9)

기독교는 예수 그리스도의 죽음이 아닌 부활에서 시작됩니다. 그렇다고 예수 그리스도의 죽음이 중요하지 않다는 뜻은 아닙니다. 죽음이 없다면 부활도 없기 때문입니다. 부활을 믿는다면 죽음도 확실히 믿는 것입니다. 그러나 중요한 것은 부활을 믿는 것입니다. 부활이 우리에게 새로운 생명을 주었습니다.

사도행전 13:33은 말합니다. “곧 하나님이 예수를 일으키사 우리 자녀들에게 이 약속을 이루게 하셨다 함이라 시편 둘째 편에 기록한 바와 같이 너는 내 아들이라 오늘 너를 낳았다 하셨고” 이는 베들레헴에서의 탄생을 말하는 것이 아니라 부활 시의 재탄생을 뜻합니다.

예수님은 죽은 자 가운데서 먼저 나신 분입니다. 즉, 영적인 죽음에서 가장 먼저 나오신 분이라는 뜻입니다. 예수님은 십자가에서 두 가지 죽음을 경험하셨습니다. 우리의 죄가 예수님께 지어지고 예수님이 아버지로부터 분리되셨을 때, 그분은 먼저 영적으로 죽으셨습니다. 예수님은 십자가에서 “나의 하나님, 나의 하나님, 어찌하여 나를 버리셨나이까”(막 15:34)라며 크게 소리치셨습니다. 그 일이 일어나자 예수님이 육신적으로 죽는 일이 가능해졌습니다.

예수님은 죽으시고 영으로 지옥에 가셨습니다. 우리가 지옥에 갔어야 했기 때문입니다. 예수님은 우리를 대신하여 지옥에 가셨습니다. 그러나 예수님은 사람들의 죄를 담당한 의로운 분이셨습니다. 성경은 지옥에서 사탄과 모든 어둠의 귀신들이 예수님을 굴복시키려고 어떻게 씨름했는지 보여줍니다. 그러나 예수님은 통치자들과 권세들을 무력화하여 드러내어 구경거리로 삼으셨습니다(골 2:15).

예수님은 사탄과 어둠의 마귀들을 공개적으로 물리치고 사망과 음부에서 승리하여 나오셨습니다. 성경은 예수님이 부활하셨을 때 의로우셨다고 말합니다. 부활은 그 표적이었습니다. 부활 때의 재탄생은 죄도, 정죄도 없음을 의미합니다. 죄의 삯은 예수님의 죽음으로 치러졌고, 새로운 생명으로 예수님의 부활은 우리를 의롭게 했습니다(롬 4:25).

따라서 오늘날 예수님이 자신의 죄를 위해 죽으셨고 자신의 의를 위해 다시 살아나셨음을 믿는 자는 누구든지 새 생명으로 들어와 새로운 피조물이 됩니다. “그러므로 우리가 그의 죽으심과 합하여 세례를 받음으로 그와 함께 장사되었나니 이는 아버지의 영광으로 말미암아 그리스도를 죽은 자 가운데서 살리심과 같이 우리로 또한 새 생명 가운데서 행하게 하려 함이라”(롬 6:4)

사랑하는 아버지, 우리에게 영생으로 의롭게 하신 그리스도의 영광스러운 부활에 감사드립니다. 나는 예수님이 사탄과 흑암의 세력을 이기시고, 나를 대신하여 죽음과 음부를 이기신 영광스러운 승리를 인식합니다. 이제 나는 그분과 함께 승리, 권세, 다스림의 자리로 일으켜졌습니다. 예수 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘.

THE RESURRECTION IS THE KEY

“But what saith it?…That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved”(Romans 10:8-9).

Christianity begins with the resurrection of Jesus Christ, not the death. This doesn’t mean the death of Jesus Christ is not important, for there would be no resurrection if there were no death. If you believe in the resurrection, you definitely believe in the death, but the key is in believing in the resurrection. That’s what gave us a new life.

In Acts 13:33, the Bible says, “God hath fulfilled the same unto us their children, in that he hath raised up Jesus again; as it is also written in the second psalm, Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee.” This isn’t referring to His birth in Bethlehem but the rebirth at the resurrection.

Jesus was the first begotten of the dead, which means the first to be born out of spiritual death. On the cross, He died two deaths. He died spiritually first when our sins were laid on Him and He was cut off, separated from the Father. He cried out on the cross “My God, my God, why has thou forsaken me” (Mark 15:34). When that happened, it became possible for Jesus to die physically.

When He died, He went to hell in the spirit, because that’s where we all should have gone; He went to hell in our place. But He was a righteous man, bearing the sins of others. The Bible shows us how in hell, Satan and all the demons of darkness grappled with Jesus in order to subdue Him. But He threw off from Himself principalities and powers and made a public spectacle of them (Colossians 2:15).

Jesus publicly defeated Satan and the demons of darkness and came out of death and hell in victory. When He arose, the Bible says He was justified; the resurrection was the sign. That rebirth at the resurrection meant that there was no sin, there was no condemnation; the debt of sin was paid by His death, but His resurrection of a new life brought us justification (Romans 4:25).

That’s why today, anyone who believes that Jesus died for their sins and was raised back to life for his justification, comes into a newness of life and becomes a new creature: “Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life” (Romans 6:4).

PRAYER

Dear Father, thank you for the glorious resurrection of Christ that brought us the justification of eternal life. I acknowledge the glorious victory He achieved over Satan and the forces of darkness, triumphing over death and hell in my behalf. Now I’m raised together with Him in the place of victory, authority and dominion forever, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Your Prosperous Life In Christ

“그리고 하나님께서는 모든 은혜(모든 은총과 세상의 축복)를 너희에게 넘치게 하여 너희가 언제나, 어떤 상황에서나, 어떤 필요에도 자족하게 [모든 선한 일과 구제를 하기에 어떤 도움이나 지원이 필요하지 않을 정도로 넉넉히 소유하게] 하실 수 있습니다.”(고후 9:8, 확대번역본)

하나님의 계획은 그분의 자녀들이 풍성한 공급을 받는 것입니다. 성경 그 어디를 찾아봐도 가난, 결핍, 궁핍이 하나님의 뜻일 수도 있다는 말을 볼 수 없습니다. 성경은 그런 내용을 암시조차 하지 않습니다. 마귀조차도 하나님께서 욥을 부자로 만드시고 많은 재물로 축복하셨다고 비난했음을 기억하십시오(욥 1:9-10).

당신은 자신의 재정적 혹은 물질적 번영이 하나님께 중요하다는 실재를 받아들여야 합니다. 하나님은 요한삼서 1:2에서 다음과 같이 말씀하셨습니다. “사랑하는 자여 네 영혼이 잘됨 같이 네가 범사에 잘되고 강건하기를 내가 간구하노라” 이 구절에 대해 생각해 보십시오!

YOUR PROSPEROUS LIFE IN CHRIST

“And God is able to make all grace (every favor and earthly blessing) come to you in abundance, so that you may always and under all circumstances and whatever the need be self-sufficient [possessing enough to require no aid or support and furnished in abundance for every good work and charitable donation]”(2 Corinthians 9:8 AMPC).

God’s plan is for His children to have abundant supply. I’ve searched the Scriptures and I find no place where it gives us the idea that poverty, lack and want might be God’s will; there isn’t even a suggestion of that in the Bible. Recall that even the devil blamed God for making Job rich, and blessing him with great substance (Job 1:9-10).

You have to embrace the reality that your financial or material prosperity is important to God. He said in 3 John 1:2, “Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.” Think about that!

Then Job 22:24-25 says, “Then shalt thou lay up gold as dust…and thou shalt have plenty of sliver.” If you ever wiped a table clean of dust, you’d observe that after a while, dust settled again on the surface. It paints a picture of the kind of prosperity God’s people are called to experience—unending and abundant supply.

It brings to mind the words of David in Psalm 23:1-2, “The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures….” That’s the way to think. You’re plugged into an unending supply. This has nothing to do with the country where you live; it’s the life you’ve been called to in Christ Jesus.

Recall again what we read in our opening scripture. God doesn’t want you conscious of need. You’re an heir of God, and a joint-heir with Christ (Romans 8:17). 1 Corinthians 3:21 says, “…all things are yours….” Your heavenly Father owns the whole world and has willed it to you because you’re Abraham’s seed: “And if ye be Christ’s, then are ye Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise” (Galatians 3:29).

Choose the joyful, prosperous life in Christ. Don’t see your job or business as your source of livelihood, but as a medium to bless others. In Christ, you’ve been brought into the life of superabundance; acknowledge and enjoy your inheritance.

PRAYER

Dear Father, you’re gracious and kind. I thank you for making me a joint-heir with Christ; the world belongs to me. I choose to live the joyful, prosperous life in Christ, for all things are mine, and nothing good is withheld from me. I dwell in the realm of superabundance and my life is a manifestation of your love and grace, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

We’re His Witnesses

“오직 성령이 너희에게 임하시면 너희가 권능을 받고 예루살렘과 온 유대와 사마리아와 땅 끝까지 이르러 내 증인이 되리라 하시니라”(행 1:8)

증인은 증거를 가지고 제시하는 자입니다. 우리는 예수님이 살아 계시고 그분의 구원의 메시지가 역사하는 메시지라는 것에 대한 증거를 제시합니다. 할렐루야! 고린도후서 5:19은 말합니다. “곧 하나님께서 그리스도 안에 계시사 세상을 자기와 화목하게 하시며 그들의 죄를 그들에게 돌리지 아니하시고 화목하게 하는 말씀을 우리에게 부탁하셨느니라” 이것이 우리의 메시지입니다.

예수님은 인류가 그분의 의를 상속받을 수 있도록 인류를 죄에서 꺼내주셨습니다. 예수님은 우리를 죽음, 고통, 궁핍으로부터 꺼내주셔서 우리가 충만한 생명을 누리고 번영, 건강, 평안 가운데 살게 하셨습니다. 이제 우리는 예수님을 모르는 사람들을 도와 그들이 그분의 빛을 발견하고, 그분에 대해 배우고, 그분의 의를 받게 합니다. 그분은 우리를 구원하셔서 우리가 다른 사람들을 구원하는 일에 동역자가 되게 하셨습니다.

고린도후서 6:1-2은 말합니다. “우리가 하나님과 함께 일하는 자로서 너희를 권하노니 하나님의 은혜를 헛되이 받지 말라 이르시되 내가 은혜 베풀 때에 너에게 듣고 구원의 날에 너를 도왔다 하셨으니 보라 지금은 은혜 받을 만한 때요 보라 지금은 구원의 날이로다” 우리는 오늘날 구원의 날, 하나님의 은혜의 날에 살고 있습니다. 할렐루야!

우리는 이 세상의 끝이 가까워짐에 따라 신중하게 생활하며 모든 사람에게 권면하고 모든 지혜 가운데 가르쳐야 합니다. 이는 각 사람을 그리스도 예수 안에서 완전한 자로 세우려 함입니다(골 1:28). 하나님은 모든 사람이 구원을 받으며 진리를 아는 데에 이르기 원하십니다(딤전 2:4). 그래서 하나님은 구원의 복음을 전하라고 우리를 보내셨습니다.

예수님은 마태복음 9:37-38에서 제자들에게 이렇게 말씀하셨습니다. “추수할 것은 많되 일꾼이 적으니 그러므로 추수하는 주인에게 청하여 추수할 일꾼들을 보내 주소서 하라 하시니라” 우리는 마지막 추수를 위한 하나님의 일꾼이며 하나님의 구원하는 능력의 메시지를 가지고 보냄 받았습니다. 우리는 하나님의 은혜의 복음을 전달하는 사람들입니다. 얼마나 영광스러운 삶입니까!

기도

사랑하는 아버지, 주님의 증인이 되는 특권에 감사드립니다. 화해의 말씀, 하나님의 사랑과 은혜의 메시지를 내게 맡겨주시니 감사합니다. 나는 많은 사람들을 구원에 이르게 하고 그리스도 안에서 영광스러운 유업을 얻도록 돕는 하나님의 신성한 계획의 동역자임을 인식합니다. 예수 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘.

WE’RE HIS WITNESSES

“But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth”(Acts 1:8).

A witness is a proof producer; one who has evidence. We produce evidence that Jesus is alive and that His message of salvation is a message that works. Hallelujah! 2 Corinthians 5:19 says, “To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.” This is our message.

Jesus brought humanity out of sin so that they might inherit His righteousness. He brought us out of death, pain and penury, so that we might have life to the full and live in prosperity, health and wellness. Now we can help those who don’t know Him to discover His light, learn about Him and receive His righteousness. He saved us and made us His partners in saving others.

2 Corinthians 6:1-2 says, “We then, as workers together with him, beseech you also that ye receive not the grace of God in vain. (For he saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succoured thee: behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation). We’re living in the day of salvation, the day of God’s grace today. Hallelujah!

As we approach the end of this present world, we’re to live circumspectly, warning every man, and teaching every man in all wisdom; that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus (Colossians 1:28). He wants all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth (1 Timothy 2:4). That’s why He sent us to preach the Good News of salvation.

In Matthew 9:37-38, Jesus said to His disciples, “The harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few; Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth labourers into his harvest.” We’re His labourers for the end-time harvest, sent with the message of His saving power. We’re the bearers of the Gospel of His grace. What an honour!

PRAYER

Dear Father, I’m grateful for the privilege of being your witness, and for entrusting me with the word of reconciliation, the message of your love and grace. I recognize that I am a partner in your divine plan to bring salvation to many and usher them into their glorious inheritance in Christ, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

당신의 삶은 당신이 말로 받아들인 모든 것의 결과입니다. 당신의 삶은 말의 산물입니다. 인간은 말로 창조되었습니다. 육신은 흙으로 만들어졌지만, 진정한 당신인 영은 말로 창조되었습니다.

또한, 사람이 거듭나려면 말씀으로 재창조되어야 합니다(롬 10:9-10). 말은 정말 중요합니다. 사실 말이 전부입니다. 말은 세상에서 가장 강력하고 중요한 것입니다. 생각해 보십시오. 온 우주가 말로 창조되었습니다.

당신의 상황들은 말의 결과입니다. 만일 당신의 상황들이 당신을 위해 다른 사람들에 의해 만들어졌다면, 그것을 바꿀 수 있는 것 역시 말뿐입니다.

하나님은 이미 당신의 삶을 승리하는 삶으로 정하셨습니다. 당신의 역할은 그 사실에 동의하며 동일한 내용으로 고백함으로 반응하는 것입니다(히 13:5). 지금 이 순간에도 당신이 위대한 삶을 소유했다고 고백하십시오. 당신이 그리스도 예수 안에서 의와 통치와 영광의 삶을 살고 있음을 인식하고 선포하십시오.

PRODUCT OF WORDS

“But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment. For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned”(Matthew 12:36-37).

Your life is the outworking of all you’ve imbibed in words; your life is a product of words. Human beings were created with words. The physical body was formed from the dust of the ground but the human person—the real you, which is your spirit—was created with words.

Also, to be born again, a man is recreated with words (Romans 10:9-10). Words are so important. As a matter of fact, words are everything. They’re the most potent and important things in the earth. Think about it: the whole universe was created with words.

Your circumstances are a product of words. And if your circumstances have been created for you by others, the only way you can change them is also by words.

Now you can understand why the Bible says, “Take with you words…” (Hosea 14:2). Every time you speak, you shape your life and future; you chart your course. This new year, chart a greater and brighter future for yourself with your words. Declare your victories. Have the right words in your mouth.

More than ever, meditate on the Word to help you form the right mindset, because before you can talk right, you must first think right. God’s Word renews your mind and produces faith in your heart.

God already ordained your triumphant and victorious life; your role is to respond by affirming the same things in consent (Hebrews 13:5). Even now, affirm that you have a great life. Acknowledge and declare that you’re living the life of righteousness, dominion and glory in Christ Jesus.

CONFESSION

I chart a greater and brighter future for myself with my words. I take my place of dominion, and reign in the Name of Jesus over circumstances, through words. I speak the right words only, thereby effecting changes in my family, health, business and ministry. The world is subject to me. I walk in righteousness and produce works of righteousness. Amen.

Our Ministry Of His Righteousness

“예수 그리스도로 말미암아 의의 열매가 가득하여 하나님의 영광과 찬송이 되기를 원하노라”(빌 1:11)

하나님은 사람들과 열방에 그분의 임재를 가져가서 그들에게 성령의 성품을 보여주기 위해 우리를 보내셨습니다. 그 임재 안에 무엇이 있습니까? 바로 하나님의 의입니다. 우리가 개인이나 공동체에 하나님의 임재를 가져갈 때, 우리는 하나님의 의를 가져가는 것입니다.

이는 예수님의 비전과 매우 일치합니다. 예수님은 이 땅에 하나님의 왕국을 세우기 위해 오셨습니다. 그분은 하나님의 의를 세우기 위해 오셨습니다. 그분이 태어나시기 전에, 천사는 마리아에게 아기의 이름은 엠마누엘, 곧 우리와 함께 계시는 하나님(마 1:23)이라고 말해주었습니다. 그것이 바로 하나님의 임재입니다. 그리고 예수님은 육신으로 나타난 하나님의 의이십니다.

하나님의 임재는 그분의 의가 나타나는 것입니다. 그렇기 때문에 우리는 하나님의 의를 전파하고 가르칩니다. 오직 그분의 의를 통해서만 사람들이 그분의 인격을 경험할 수 있기 때문입니다. 감각으로는 하나님을 알 수 없습니다. 하나님의 사랑의 행위에 나타난 그분의 의를 이해하기 전까지 당신은 그분을 알 수 없습니다.

이것이 바로 우리가 온 세상이 예수님이 누구신지를 알기 원하는 이유입니다. 우리는 온 세상이 하나님의 의를 경험하기 원합니다. 하나님의 사랑은 실제로 하나님의 의의 나타남입니다.

하나님의 의가 나타나는 곳마다 하나님의 사랑을 경험할 수 있습니다. 우리는 그분의 의가 되었습니다. 즉, 당신의 세상, 직장, 가정 등에서 하나님의 의가 당신을 통해 나타난다는 뜻입니다. 당신은 어디에서나 하나님의 의의 열매를 나타냅니다.

따라서 당신은 어떤 일을 할 때, 어떤 사람의 편에 설지 고민하는 것이 아니라 하나님의 의를 세우는 일에 집중해야 합니다. 우리가 하나님의 의를 대표하기 때문입니다. 우리는 하나님의 의를 세우도록 부름 받았습니다. 하나님께 영광 드립니다!

OUR MINISTRY OF HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS

“Being filled with the fruits of righteousness, which are by Jesus Christ, unto the glory and praise of God”(Philippians 1:11).

God sent us to take His presence to the peoples and nations of the world, demonstrating to them the character of the Spirit. But what’s in that presence? It’s the righteousness of God. When we bring the presence of God to an individual or a community, we’re bringing them the righteousness of God.

This very much aligns with the vision of Jesus. He came to set up the Kingdom of God in the earth; He came to establish God’s righteousness. Before His birth, the angel announced to Mary that His name shall be called Emmanuel—God with us (Matthew 1:23). That’s God’s presence; and Jesus was the righteousness of God unveiled in flesh.

God’s presence is His righteousness in manifestation. That’s why we preach and teach the righteousness of God, because only through His righteousness can the people experience His Person. You can’t know God with your senses; you can’t know Him until you understand His righteousness, which is revealed in His acts of love.

It’s the reason we want the whole world to know who Jesus is. We want the whole world to experience the righteousness of God. When we talk about the love of God, the love of God actually is the demonstration of the righteousness of God.

Wherever the righteousness of God is in manifestation, the love of God is experienced. We’ve been made His righteousness, which means the righteousness of God is in manifestation through you in your world—in your office, in your home etc. You hold forth the fruits of God’s righteousness everywhere.

It’s the reason when you get involved in a matter, it shouldn’t be about taking sides with anyone but about establishing the righteousness of God, because that’s what we represent; that’s what we’re called to establish. Glory to God!

PRAYER

Dear Father, thank you for making me a conveyor of your divine presence, a dispenser of your righteousness! Everywhere I go, I exude the excellence and elegance of the Spirit. I’m the manifestation of your righteousness! I spread and speak forth your righteousness and give vent to your glory and virtue, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

오늘의 본문 구절에서 “나타내다(declare)”라는 단어는 그리스어 “엑세거마이(exegeomai)”에서 유래되었는데, 이는 단순한 선언이 아니라 어떤 것을 보여주거나 밝히는 행위를 뜻합니다. 예수님은 우리에게 신성을 보여주셨습니다. 예수님은 우리가 이해할 수 있는 방식으로 하나님을 계시해 주기 위해 오셨습니다.

예수님의 생애는 살아 있는 성경이었으며 왕국의 원리와 신성한 삶의 방식을 생생하게 보여주었습니다. 이 심오한 진리는 성경이 우리에게 예수님의 발자취를 따르라고 말하는 이유입니다. 하나님은 우리에게 따라할 수 있는 본을 주셨습니다.

예수님께서 그것을 가능케 하셨습니다! 예수님은 하나님의 본성과 우리를 향한 그분의 사랑을 나타내기 위해 오셨습니다. 하나님은 우리를 사랑하십니다. 우리는 성경을 통해 예수님이 어떻게 사랑과 긍휼로 감동하시었는지 보았기에 알고 있습니다. 예수님의 행동은 곧 하나님이 그 안에서 역사하신 것입니다.

이제 우리는 아버지의 사랑, 의, 자비, 긍휼, 은혜를 나타낼 수 있습니다. 예수님이 이 땅에 계실 때 그렇게 하셨기 때문입니다. 우리 안에 그리스도의 생명이 있고, 성령으로 말미암아 그분의 사랑이 우리 마음에 부어졌습니다(롬 5:5).

사도 바울은 우리에게 말합니다. “그리스도께서 너희를 사랑하신 것 같이 너희도 사랑 가운데서 행하라 그는 우리를 위하여 자신을 버리사 향기로운 제물과 희생제물로 하나님께 드리셨느니라”(엡 5:2)

기도

사랑하는 아버지, 주 예수님을 통해 우리에게 당신의 본성과 사랑을 나타내시니 감사드립니다. 나는 일상 생활에서 예수님의 발자취를 따르고, 그분을 본받으며, 그분이 사랑하신 것처럼 사랑하고, 그분이 행하신 대로 행하고, 그분이 생각하신 대로 생각합니다. 당신의 성품에 대한 증거로 당신의 사랑이 나를 통해 밝게 빛납니다. 예수 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘.

HE REHEARSED DIVINITY TO US

“No man hath seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him”(John 1:18).

The word “declared” in our opening verse originates from the Greek term “exegeomai,” signifying not just a mere declaration but the act of rehearsing or unfolding something. In essence, Jesus rehearsed divinity to us. He came to reveal God in a way we could relate with and understand.

The life of Jesus was a living testament, a vivid portrayal of the Kingdom’s principles and the divine way of living. This profound truth is why the Bible instructs us to follow in His footsteps, for He’s given us an example to emulate.

1 Peter 2:21 underscores this beautifully: “For even hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps.” Jesus came to show us the Father’s love, character, and will. He said in John 14:9, “…he that hath seen me hath seen the Father…”; a claim only the One who was God in the flesh could make.

Ephesians 5:1-2 says, “Be ye therefore followers of God, as dear children. And walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us…” The term “followers” translates from the Greek word “mimetes,” denoting not merely followers but imitators, those who copy another. We’re called to be imitators of God, but how can we imitate God when we haven’t seen Him?

Jesus made it possible! He came to reveal God’s nature and His love for us. God loves us; we know because we see from the Scriptures how Jesus was moved by love and compassion. Jesus in action was God at work.

Now we can manifest the Father’s love, His righteousness, mercy, compassion and grace because that’s what Jesus did when He walked the earth. We have the life of Christ in us, and His love is poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit (Romans 5:5).

The Apostle Paul tells us, “And walk in love, as Christ also has loved us and given Himself for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet-smelling aroma” (Ephesians 5:2).

PRAYER

Dear Father, thank you for revealing your nature and your love to us through the Lord Jesus. I follow in His steps and imitate Him in my daily life, loving as He loved, walking as He walked and thinking as He thought. Your love shines through me as a testament to your character, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

주 예수님은 우리를 하나님과의 교제 안으로 인도하기 위해 오셨습니다. 그분은 친밀한 관계, 즉 하나님과 사람 사이의 하나됨을 확립하여 사람이 참으로 하나님을 알 수 있도록 하기 위해 오셨습니다. 그리고 그분은 그것을 이루셨습니다. 그리스도 예수 안에서 우리는 영생을 받았습니다. 하나님의 생명과 본성이 우리 영에 전달되었습니다

예수님은 요한복음 10:10에서 이렇게 말씀하셨습니다. “도둑이 오는 것은 도둑질하고 죽이고 멸망시키려는 것뿐이요 내가 온 것은 양으로 생명을 얻게 하고 더 풍성히 얻게 하려는 것이라” 충만한 그리스도의 생명은 당신이 예수님을 당신 삶의 주님으로 영접했을 때 당신이 받은 것입니다. 골로새서 3:4은 “우리 생명이신 그리스도”라고 말합니다. 그리스도는 거듭난 자의 생명이십니다. 얼마나 기쁜 소식입니까!

예수님은 우리가 전 세계에 이 기쁜 소식을 전하고 가르치기 원하십니다. 예수님은 마가복음 16:15에서 “너희는 온 천하에 다니며 만민에게 복음을 전파하라”고 말씀하셨습니다. 그분은 우리가 전능하신 하나님과의 교제가 가능하다는 것을 세상에 알리기 원하십니다. 의는 우리에게 가능한 일이 되었습니다. 필요한 것은 오직 이 진리를 믿는 것뿐입니다. “이는 그를 믿는 자마다 영생을 얻게 하려 하심이니라”(요 3:15) 할렐루야!

예수님은 우리 죄를 위해 죽으셨고 사흘 만에 죽은 자 가운데서 승리하여 살아나셨습니다. 그분의 죽음으로 죄는 해결되었지만, 그것이 우리를 하나님과 하나로 만들지는 못했습니다. 우리에게 영생을 주고 하나님과 하나되게 한 것은 예수님의 부활이었습니다.

이제 예수 그리스도는 당신 삶의 주님일 뿐만 아니라 당신은 그 안에서 풍성하고 깊은 교제를 합니다. “우리가 보고 들은 그것을 너희에게 밝히 드러냄은 너희 또한 우리와 교제하게 하려 함이니 참으로 우리의 교제는 아버지와 그분의 아들 예수 그리스도와 함께하는 것이니라.”(요일 1:3, 한글흠정역)

고린도전서 1:9은 말합니다. “너희를 불러 그의 아들 예수 그리스도 우리 주와 더불어 교제하게 하시는 하나님은 미쁘시도다” 이것이 바로 하나님께서 항상 인간에게 바라셨던 교제입니다! 예수님은 하나님과의 교제가 가능하게 만들어주셨습니다. 할렐루야!

기도

사랑하는 아버지, 당신과의 교제, 하나됨, 우정, 친밀함이라는 놀라운 선물과 당신의 임재를 나에게 실재가 되게 하시는 성령님의 내주하심에 감사드립니다. 나는 이 교제의 깊이를 누리며 예수님으로 인해 가능해진 이 사랑과 의 가운데 행합니다. 아멘.

JESUS MADE FELLOWSHIP WITH GOD A REALITY

“For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us”(Ephesians 2:14).

The Lord Jesus came to bring us into fellowship with God. He came to establish an intimate relationship—a oneness between God and man so that man can truly know God; and He achieved it. In Christ Jesus, we were given eternal life; the life and nature of God was imparted to our spirits.

He said in John 10:10 (NIV), “…The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.” The Christ-life in its fullness is what you received when you received Jesus as Lord of your life. The Bible says in Colossians 3:4, “Christ is our life”; He’s the life of the one who’s born again. What a Gospel!

This is what He wants us to preach and teach around the world. He said in Mark 16:15, “Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.” He wants us to let the world know that a relationship with Almighty God is possible; righteousness is possible and available. All it takes is to believe: “…whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life” (John 3:15). Hallelujah!

Jesus died for our sins, but He rose triumphantly from the dead after three days. His death settled the charges against us, but it didn’t make us one with God. It was His resurrection that gave us eternal life and brought us into oneness with God.

Now, Jesus Christ isn’t only the Lord of your life, but also One in and by whom you’ve found rich and deep fellowship: “That which we have seen and heard declare we unto you, that ye also may have fellowship with us: and truly our fellowship is with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ” (1 John 1:3).

1 Corinthians 1:9 says, “God is faithful, by whom ye were called unto the fellowship of his Son Jesus Christ our Lord.” This is what God had always wanted with man: fellowship! Jesus made it a reality. Hallelujah!

PRAYER

Dear Father, thank you for the remarkable gift of fellowship, oneness, friendship and intimacy with you, and the indwelling of the Holy Spirit, who has made your presence real to me. I enjoy the depth of this relationship, and walk in the love and righteousness that Jesus has made available for me to live by. Amen.

The Spirit Of Wisdom For Revelation

“우리 주 예수 그리스도의 하나님, 영광의 아버지께서 지혜와 계시의 영을 너희에게 주사 하나님을 알게 하시고 너희 마음의 눈을 밝히사 그의 부르심의 소망이 무엇이며 성도 안에서 그 기업의 영광의 풍성함이 무엇이며”(엡 1:17-18)

오늘의 본문 구절에서 밑줄 친 부분은 사도 바울이 두 가지 다른 것, 즉 지혜의 영과 계시의 영을 언급하고 있는 것처럼 보여집니다. 그렇지 않습니다! 그는 하나의 같은 것을 말하고 있습니다. 당신에게 계시, 곧 신비를 밝히는 “아포칼룹시스(그리스어)”를 가져오는 지혜의 영을 말합니다.

지혜의 영은 하나님의 영이 지혜 안에서 활동하시는 것을 의미하며, 하나님의 영은 지혜 안에서 그분을 나타내십니다. 오늘의 본문 구절에서 “와(and)”의 역할을 바르게 이해해야 합니다. 그리스어로는 “와”가 “~안에서”, “~와 함께”, “~를 위한”으로 번역되기도 합니다. 따라서, 하나님에 대한 지식 안에서 더 나은 번역은 “계시 안에 있는 지혜의 영” 혹은 “계시를 위한 지혜의 영”입니다.

확대번역 클래식 번역본에서는 다음과 같이 말합니다. “[내가 항상 기도하는 것은] 우리 주 예수 그리스도의 하나님, 영광의 아버지께서 그분에 대한 [깊고 친밀한] 지식 안에서 [신비와 비밀을 통찰하게 하는] 계시를 위한 지혜의 영을 너희에게 주십니다…” 이것이 당신의 삶에서 지혜의 성령께서 하시는 사역입니다. 첫째로, 그분은 당신에게 계시, 즉 신비와 비밀에 대한 통찰력을 주십니다.

THE SPIRIT OF WISDOM FOR REVELATION

“That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him: The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints”(Ephesians 1:17-18).

The underlined portion in our opening scripture above seems to suggest that the Apostle Paul was referring to two different things: the spirit of wisdom, and the spirit of revelation, but no! Rather, he’s dealing with one and the same thing: the Spirit of wisdom bringing you revelation—the unveiling of mysteries—“apocalupsis” (Greek).

The Spirit of wisdom refers to the operations of the Spirit of God in wisdom, the Spirit of God manifesting Himself in wisdom. The use of the word “and” in that expression needs to be properly understood. In the Greek rendering, the word translated “and” is also translated “in,” “with,” or “for.” Therefore, a better rendering of that expression is “…the spirit of wisdom in revelation,” or “the spirit of wisdom for revelation,” in the exact knowledge of God.

In the Amplified Classic version, it says, “[For I always pray to] the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, that He may grant you a spirit of wisdom and revelation [of insight into mysteries and secrets] in the [deep and intimate] knowledge of Him….” This is the ministry of the Spirit of wisdom in your life: He brings you revelation—insight into mysteries and secrets.

Secondly, He brings you light (photizo—Greek); He floods your path with light. He illuminates your mind with extraordinary sagacity and amplitude of comprehension. Thirdly, He brings you counsel and direction such that life ceases to be mysterious to you.

Always acknowledge that you’re filled with the Spirit of God in wisdom and spiritual understanding; therefore you know and can discern His will. Every so often, declare, “I have insight into mysteries and secrets; I function at the highest level of excellence and in the perfect will of God, because I’m filled with the Spirit of wisdom for revelation in the deep and intimate knowledge of Christ.” Hallelujah!

No Force Can Prevail Against You

“하나님이 세상을 이처럼 사랑하사 독생자를 주셨으니 이는 그를 믿는 자마다 멸망하지 않고 영생을 얻게 하려 하심이라”(요 3:16)

오늘의 본문 구절에 나오는 말씀이 신성한 법령이라는 것을 알고 계셨습니까? 당신이 예수 그리스도를 믿는다면 멸망하지 않습니다. 이는 그 무엇도 그 누구도 당신을 해칠 수 없다는 뜻입니다. 예수님은 누가복음 10:19에서 말씀하셨습니다. “내가 너희에게 뱀과 전갈을 밟으며 원수의 모든 능력을 제어할 권능을 주었으니 너희를 해칠 자가 결코 없으리라”

또한 마가복음 16:18은 무슨 독을 마실지라도 그것이 당신에게 해를 끼칠 수 없다고 말합니다. 이것은 그리스도 안에 있는 당신의 유업입니다. 시편 91:5-7은 말합니다. “너는 밤에 찾아오는 공포와 낮에 날아드는 화살과 어두울 때 퍼지는 전염병과 밝을 때 닥쳐오는 재앙을 두려워하지 아니하리로다 천 명이 네 왼쪽에서, 만 명이 네 오른쪽에서 엎드러지나 이 재앙이 네게 가까이 하지 못하리로다”

이는 이사야 54:17 에 나오는 이사야 선지자의 말을 더욱 생각나게 합니다. “너를 치려고 제조된 모든 연장이 쓸모가 없을 것이라 … 이는 여호와의 종들의 기업이요…” 모든 연장이 쓸모가 없어지는 이유는 당신이 하나님의 불멸하고, 썩지 않고, 파괴되지 않는 생명인 영생을 가지고 있기 때문입니다! 오늘의 본문 구절을 기억하십시오. “이는 그를 믿는 자마다 멸망하지 않고 영생을 얻게 하려 하심이라”

이는 완전한 다스림과 통치의 삶입니다. 영광, 승리, 성공, 탁월함의 삶입니다. 당신 안에 있는 이 생명으로 인해 어떤 악한 세력도 당신을 이길 수 없습니다. 당신은 정복자보다 나은 자입니다! 그분의 이름에 영원히 영광을 드립니다!

NO FORCE CAN PREVAIL AGAINST YOU

“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life”(John 3:16).

Did you know that the statement in our opening verse is a divine decree? You’re kept from perishing for believing in Jesus Christ. That means nothing and no one can harm you. Jesus said in Luke 10:19, “Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.”

He also said in Mark 16:18 that if you drink any deadly thing, it will not hurt you. This is your heritage in Christ. Psalm 91:5-7 says, “Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day; Nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness; nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday. A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee.”

Notice the latter part; it says the evil, the pestilence, and the terror that destroy others won’t come near you; why? Because you’re in Christ! Christ is a place; and therein you’re shielded from the destructions, calamities and degradations of this present world. Hallelujah!

It further reminds of the words of the Prophet Isaiah in Isaiah 54:17, “No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper…This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD.” The reason the weapons can’t prosper is that you have eternal life—the indestructible, incorruptible and impregnable life of God! Remember what we read in our opening verse: “…whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”

It’s a life of absolute mastery and dominion; a life of glory, victory, success and excellence. Because of this life in you, no evil force can prevail against you. You’re more than a conqueror! Glory to His Name forever!

PRAYER

Thank you, Father, for your glorious life in me; I live triumphantly every day, far above Satan and the negative systems of this world. Thank you for appointing me to a life of glory, victory, success, and excellence. Amen.
