예수님의 순종의 열매
Fruits Of His Obedience
“그런즉 한 범죄로 많은 사람이 정죄에 이른 것 같이 한 의로운 행위로 말미암아 많은 사람이 의롭다 하심을 받아 생명에 이르렀느니라”(롬 5:18)
구약에서 이스라엘 자손들을 위한 하나님의 축복은 율법에 대한 순종이 전제되었습니다. 예를 들어, 하나님께서는 그들이 왕과 제사장으로 기능하기 원하셨지만, 하나님의 복이 역사하기 위해서는 그들의 순종이 필요했습니다. 출애굽기 19:5-6에서 하나님은 다음과 같이 말씀하셨습니다. “세계가 다 내게 속하였나니 너희가 내 말을 잘 듣고 내 언약을 지키면 너희는 모든 민족 중에서 내 소유가 되겠고 너희가 내게 대하여 제사장 나라가 되며 거룩한 백성이 되리라 너는 이 말을 이스라엘 자손에게 전할지니라.”
그러나 그들은 율법을 어겼고 하나님의 축복과 약속의 충만함을 누릴 수 없었습니다. 하지만 오늘날 신약시대에 살고 있는 우리는 다릅니다. 골로새서 1:12은 “우리로 하여금 빛 가운데서 성도의 기업의 부분을 얻기에 합당하게 하신 아버지께 감사하게 하시기를 원하노라”고 말합니다. 우리는 빛의 왕국에서 성도의 유업에 참여할 자격을 얻었습니다. 우리는 하나님의 모든 성도들을 위해 예비된 하나님 왕국의 축복과 혜택에 참여하며 누리는 자입니다. 이것은 당신의 순종에 의해 일어난 일이 아니라 그리스도의 순종으로 말미암은 것입니다(롬 5:19).
예수 그리스도께서 율법을 다 이루신 후에 그것을 폐지하셨습니다. 당신은 그분의 순종의 열매입니다. 그분의 순종으로 하나님의 선물, 즉 그분의 의의 축복이 당신에게 상속 되었습니다. 오늘날, 하나님이 당신을 축복하도록 하기 위해 율법에 “순종”하는 것은 소용이 없습니다. 당신은 그리스도 안에서 모든 영적인 복으로 축복받고 태어났습니다(엡 1:3).
신약성경 어디에도 우리가 축복받기 위해 “순종”해야 한다는 말이 없습니다. 오히려 우리는 순종하는 자녀로 불립니다(벧전 1:14). 우리는 하나님의 진리의 말씀에 마음으로부터 “순종한” 것으로 묘사됩니다(롬 6:17). 그러므로 그리스도 안에서 얻은 기업인 당신의 축복은 그리스도의 대속 사역의 결과입니다. 할렐루야!
기도
사랑하는 아버지, 제가 받은 축복이 그리스도의 대속 사역의 결과라는 것과 그분 안에서 내가 누구인지 깨닫게 해주셔서 감사드립니다. 나는 하나님의 상속자이자 그리스도와 함께 한 공동 상속자입니다! 그리스도 안에서 당신의 모든 약속은 내 삶에서 성취되었으며, 나는 완전한 만족과 성취의 삶을 삽니다. 예수 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘.

FRUITS OF HIS OBEDIENCE
Therefore as by the offence of one judgment came upon all men to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life (Romans 5:18).
Under the Old Testament, God’s blessings for the children of Israel were preconditioned on their obedience to the Law. For example, God had desired that they walk as kings and priests before Him, but their obedience was a prerequisite for the blessings to take effect in their lives. In Exodus 19:5-6, He said, “Now therefore, if ye will obey my voice indeed, and keep my covenant, then ye shall be a peculiar treasure unto me above all people: for all the earth is mine: And ye shall be unto me a kingdom of priests, and
an holy nation….”
However, they broke His laws and couldn’t enjoy the fullness of His blessings and promises. But that isn’t the case with us today in the New Testament. Colossians 1:12 says, “Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light.” We’ve been qualified to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in the Kingdom of light.
We’re sharers and participants in the blessings and benefits of the Kingdom-life reserved for all of God’s saints. This didn’t happen by your obedience, but by Christ’s obedience (Romans 5:19).
Jesus Christ fulfilled the Law, and then abolished it. You’re the fruit of His obedience. By His obedience, God’s gift—His blessing of righteousness was bequeathed to you. Today, it’s no use trying to “obey” the Law for God to bless you; you were born blessed with all spiritual blessings in Christ (Ephesians 1:3).
Nowhere in the New Testament are we told to “obey” to be blessed; rather, we’re called His obedient ones (1 Peter 1:14). We’re described as having “obeyed” God’s Word of truth from the heart (Romans 6:17). So your blessings, your inheritance in Christ, are the results of Christ’s redemptive work in your behalf. Hallelujah!
PRAYER
Dear Father, I thank you for the realisation that my blessings are the results of Christ’s redemptive work, and on who I am in Him. I’m an heir of God and a joint-heir with Christ! In Christ, all your promises are fulfilled in my life, and I live in total satisfaction and fulfilment, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
