He’s active in and through you
“베드로가 이 말을 할 때에 성령이 말씀 듣는 모든 사람에게 내려오시니”(행 10:44)
방금 읽은 사도행전 10:44을 잘 생각해보십시오. 베드로가 말하고 있을 때, 성령께서 “일하고 계셨습니다.” 그분은 베드로의 말을 듣고 있는 사람들에게 “임하셨습니다.” 그분은 베드로의 말이 끝나기를 기다리지 않았습니다. 그분은 우리가 결코 혼자가 아니라는 것을 보여주었고, 우리가 우리의 역할을 할 때 성령님께서도 그분의 일을 하실 것을 우리가 신뢰할 수 있다는 것을 보여줍니다.
마가복음 16:20에서는 주님이 승천하신 후에 제자들이 “나가서 곳곳마다 복음을 전파하니, 주께서 그들과 함께 역사하시고, 또 따르는 표적들로 말씀을 확고하게 하시더라”라고 말씀합니다. 주님께서 그들과 함께 계셨음을 보십시오. 주님은 방관자로서 계신 것이 아니라, 표적과 기사와 기적으로 함께 일하시고 그들의 말을 확증하셨습니다.
복음을 전하러 나갈 때, 선포되는 말씀 가운데 나타날 주님의 임재와 그분의 능력을 인식하십시오. 거리에서 전하든, 버스, 사무실, 또는 쇼핑몰에서 전하든지 상관없이, 성령님께서 당신과 함께 일하시고, 당신을 통해 일하고 계심을 확신하십시오.
그러므로 담대하게 복음을 전하십시오. 예수 그리스도를 전파하십시오. 그분께서는 죄인들을 구원하여 그들이 하나님의 자녀가 되도록 하기 위해 이 땅에 오셨다는 것을 선포하십시오. 하나님께서는 당신 주위의 구원받지 못한 사람들의 죄를 기억하고 있지 않다는 것을 알게 하십시오. 오히려 하나님은 그들의 죄를 용서하기 위한 모든 준비를 마치셨습니다.
하나님께서 당신에게 맡기신 신성한 복음의 사역은 오직 성령의 능력으로만 성취될 수 있습니다. 당신이 어떤 노력을 하든지, 성령님이 없이는 헛된 노력일 뿐입니다. 이는 당신이 성령님의 도움 없이는 영원히 의미 있는 어떤 일도 할 수 없다는 것을 의미합니다. 요한복음 15:5에서 예수님은 “나를 떠나서는 너희가 아무것도 할 수 없기 때문이라”고 말씀하시며 이것을 강조하셨습니다.
당신의 능력만을 의지하여 삶이나 사역의 문제를 해결하려고 하지 마십시오. 성령님과 함께 일하십시오. 당신의 일에 대해 그분께 상의하십시오. 성령님과 함께 일하십시오. 도전이 있다면 그분께 도전에 대해 말씀하십시오. 그러면 그분께서 당신이 성공하기 위해 필요한 지혜를 주실 것입니다. 그분을 신뢰하십시오. 그러면 당신에게 불가능한 일은 없을 것입니다. 그분의 능력은 당신의 삶에 놀라운 방식으로 역사할 것입니다.
기도
사랑하는 아버지, 내 삶에 역사하시는 성령님의 영광스러운 사역으로 인해 감사드립니다. 성령님은 내 안에서 나를 통해 일하시며 이 땅에서 그분의 신성한 계획과 목적을 성취하시는 분이시기 때문에, 나는 성령님께 완전히 내어드립니다. 성령님의 능력으로 나는 모든 선한 일에 효과적이고 열매 맺으며, 의를 통해 열매 맺습니다. 예수 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘.

HE’S ACTIVE IN AND THROUGH YOU
While Peter yet spake these words, the Holy Ghost fell on all them which heard the word (Acts 10:44).
Consider what we just read in Acts 10:44; while Peter was yet speaking, the Holy Ghost was “working”; He “fell” on them to whom Peter was speaking. He didn’t wait for Peter to finish, showing that we’re never alone and we can always trust Him to do His part, as we do ours.
In Mark 16:20, after the ascension of the Master, the Bible says the disciples “…went forth, and preached every where, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word with signs following. Amen.” Observe that He was with them, not as a passive observer, but was actively working, confirming their words with signs, wonders and miracles.
Each time you go out to preach the Gospel, be conscious of the Lord’s presence and His power that’s manifested through the preaching of the Word. It makes no difference whether you’re on streetevangelism, or you’re preaching in a bus, in an office, or in a mall, be assured that the Holy Spirit is working with you and through you.
Therefore, be bold to preach the Gospel. Preach Jesus Christ. Preach that He came into the world to save sinners and make them sons of God. Let the unsaved around you know that God isn’t counting their sins against them; rather, He’s made provision for the remission of their sins.
The ministry of the Gospel He’s committed to your trust is a divine one, which you can only fulfil by the power of the Spirit. It doesn’t matter what your efforts are, they’re in vain without Him. That means you can’t do anything of eternal significance without the help of the Holy Spirit. In John 15:5, Jesus emphasized this, saying, “…for without me ye can do nothing.”
Don’t go through life or ministry struggling on your own; work with the Spirit. Discuss your work with Him; if there’re challenges, talk to Him about them and He’ll grant you the wisdom you need to put you over. Trust Him, and there’ll be nothing you can’t do; His power will work through you in a tremendous way.
PRAYER
Dear Father, I thank you for the fulfilment of the glorious ministry of your Spirit in my life. I’m completely yielded to Him, for He’s the One who works actively in and through me, to fulfil your divine plans and purposes in the earth. By the power of the Holy Spirit, I’m effective and fruitful in every good work, bearing fruits of righteousness, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
