그리스도는 우리의 유월절 양이십니다
Christ: Our Passover
“너희는 누룩 없는 자인데 새 덩어리가 되기 위하여 묵은 누룩을 내버리라 우리의 유월절 양 곧 그리스도께서 희생되셨느니라”(고전 5:7)
출애굽기 12:12을 보면, 바로의 심령이 강퍅해진 결과로 죽음의 천사인 “재앙(destroyer)”이 이집트 땅을 방문하여 아수라장으로 만들었습니다. 하지만 주님은 이스라엘 자손들의 집마다 어린 양을 잡아서 그 피를 집의 좌우 기둥과 현관문 위 기둥에 바르라고 지시하셨습니다.
하나님은 그들에게 “내가 피를 볼 때에 너희를 넘어가리니 재앙이 너희에게 내려 멸하지 아니하리라”(출 12:13)고 말씀하셨습니다. 바로 여기에서 “유월절(Passover)”이라는 용어가 유래했습니다. 죽임당한 그 어린 양이 유월절의 상징이었기에, 그 양을 유월절 양이라 불렀습니다.
우리는 오늘의 본문 구절에서 그리스도 예수께서 우리의 유월절 양이심을 읽습니다. 그분은 우리를 위해 죽임을 당하셨습니다. 그분이 흘린 피는 바로 그것의 상징으로 사용되었습니다. 그분은 구약시대에 유대인들을 위해 죽임을 당한 어린 양처럼 우리의 자리에서 심판을 받으셨습니다. 배신당하신 그날 밤, 제자들과 떡을 떼신 후 예수님은 잔을 드시고 말씀하셨습니다. “이 잔은 내 피로 세운 새 언약이니 이것을 행하여 마실 때마다 나를 기념하라”(고전 11:25)
우리의 구원이 예수님이 흘리신 피로부터 왔습니다. 그러므로 우리는 죽음에서 생명으로 넘어갔습니다. 이제 그리스도 예수 안에 있는 우리에게는 어떤 심판이나 멸망도 없습니다. 우리의 유월절 양이신 그리스도께서 우리를 위해 희생되셨기 때문입니다.
재앙이 당신 집에 찾아오지 않을 것입니다. 재앙이 멸망시키려고 어떤 방식이나 어떤 형태로 찾아오든지 상관없습니다. 그 재앙이 가난과 질병이나 그 어떤 종류의 약함으로 오든 당신이 그리스도 안에 있기에 보호를 받습니다. 할렐루야!

제 영에 믿음과 용기를 전이하는 아버지의 말씀을 아는 지식으로 인해 복되신 아버지께 감사드립니다. 저는 건강과 번영 안에 살므로, 제 삶은 아버지의 영광과 찬양을 드러내고 나타냅니다. 예수 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘.

CHRIST: OUR PASSOVER
Purge out therefore the old leaven, that ye may be a new lump, as ye are unleavened. For even Christ our passover is sacrificed for us (1 Corinthians 5:7).
In Exodus 12:12, as a result of Pharaoh’s hardheartedness, the death angel, the “destroyer,” was going to visit the land of Egypt and wreak havoc. However, the Lord instructed each household of the children of Israel to kill a lamb and rub the blood on the two side-posts, and on the upper door-post of their houses.
God said to them, “And the blood shall be to you for a token upon the houses where ye are: and when I see the blood, I will pass over you, and the plague shall not be upon you to destroy you, when I smite the land of Egypt” (Exodus 12:13). That’s where the term “Passover” came from. That lamb that was slain was the symbol of the Passover; it was called the Passover lamb.
We read in our opening verse that Christ Jesus is our Passover; He was slain for us, and His blood was used as that symbol. He was judged in our place like that lamb back in the Old Testament was slain for the Jews. Then, on the night of His betrayal, after He had broken bread with His disciples, He took the cup and said, “…This cup is the new testament in my blood: this do ye, as oft as ye drink it, in remembrance of me” (1 Corinthians 11:25).
Our salvation came from His blood. Therefore, we’ve passed from death to life. There’s therefore now no judgment, no destruction for us who are in Christ Jesus, because Christ our Passover has been sacrificed for us.
The destroyer shall not come to your house. It doesn’t matter in whatever way or form he comes to destroy; whether he comes with poverty, disease or infirmity of any kind, you’re shielded, because you’re in Christ. Hallelujah!

Thank you blessed Father, for the knowledge of your Word that imparts faith and courage to my spirit. I live in health and prosperity, and my life is the revelation and manifestation of your glory and praise, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
