You’re A Victor, Not A Victim

“우리 주 예수 그리스도로 말미암아 우리에게 승리를 주시는 하나님께 감사하노니”(고전 15:57)

하나님께서는 당신을 상황, 경제, 사회 구조, 정치 혹은 정부의 피해자로 살도록 이 세상에 데려오신 것이 아닙니다. 당신은 지금 살고 있는 동네, 도시, 나라에서 피해자가 아닙니다. 당신은 정복자 그 이상입니다. 당신은 세상을 이겼습니다.

성경은 말합니다. “무릇 하나님께로부터 난 자마다 세상을 이기느니라…”(요일 5:4) 할렐루야! 앞서 요한일서 4:4은 이렇게 말합니다. “자녀들아 너희는 하나님께 속하였고 또 그들을 이기었나니 이는 너희 안에 계신 이가 세상에 있는 자보다 크심이라”

당신은 하나님께서 더 이상 당신에게 무언가를 주시거나, 당신을 어떤 사람으로 만들거나, 어떤 곤경에서 당신을 도우려고 하시지 않는다는 사실을 이해해야 합니다. 그분께서 이미 당신에게 주신 것 외에 당신에게 더 필요한 것은 없기 때문입니다.

많은 사람들이 피해자의 사고방식을 가지고 하나님과 관계를 맺습니다. 그러나 그것은 잘못된 것입니다. 그들은 하나님을 자신을 고난에서 “구하시는” 분으로만 봅니다. 그래서 그들은 평생 동안 그분이 이미 행하신 일들은 인지하지 못한 채 자신을 돕고, 세우고, 축복할 “예정이신” 위대한 하나님을 바라보며 삽니다.

에베소서 1:3은 말합니다. “찬송하리로다 하나님 곧 우리 주 예수 그리스도의 아버지께서 그리스도 안에서 하늘에 속한 모든 신령한 복을 우리에게 주시되” 베드로후서 1:3은 그분의 신성한 능력이 우리에게 생명과 경건에 속한 모든 것을 주셨다고 말합니다. 그리고 고린도전서 3:21에서 바울은 성령으로 말미암아 “그런즉 누구든지 사람을 자랑하지 말라 만물이 다 너희 것임이라”고 선포합니다.

이제는 하나님의 말씀의 실재를 깨닫고 현재의 진리 안에 살아야 할 때입니다. 오늘날 하나님께서는 당신을 번영시킬 어떤 계획도 없으십니다. 하나님께서는 이미 그 일을 이루셨기 때문입니다. 하나님께서는 당신을 치유하실 어떤 계획도 없으십니다. 하나님께서는 이미 당신에게 치유보다 더 위대한 신성한 건강을 동반한 신성한 본성을 주셨기 때문입니다. 하나님께서는 당신에게 아픔, 질병, 허약함, 죽음에 영향을 받지 않는 생명을 주셨습니다.

그러나 당신이 이러한 진리들을 모른다면 당신은 피해자로 살게 됩니다. 하나님께서는 “내 백성이 지식이 없으므로 망하는도다”(호 4:6)라고 말씀하셨습니다. 그리스도의 사고방식을 가지십시오. 당신은 그리스도 안에 있는 초월적인 생명 안으로 인도되었습니다. 그에 합당하게 말하고, 행동하고, 살아가십시오.

기도

나는 그리스도 안에 있는 초월적인 생명 안으로 인도되었습니다. 나는 상황의 피해자가 아닙니다. 나는 내 삶에 나타나는 모든 어려움을 이겨내도록 성령으로 힘입습니다. 나는 승리하는 삶을 살기 위해 필요한 모든 것을 가지고 있습니다. 예수 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘.

YOU’RE A VICTOR, NOT A VICTIM

“But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ” (1 Corinthians 15:57).

God didn’t bring you into this world to be a victim of circumstances, the economy, social structure, politics, or government of the day; no. You’re not a victim of the town, city or nation where you live; you’re more than a conqueror; you’ve overcome the world.

The Bible says, “…whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world…” (1 John 5:4). Hallelujah! The preceding verse four says, “Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.”

You have to come to the understanding that God is no longer trying to give you anything, make you anything, or help you out of any predicament. That’s because there isn’t anything you require today that He hasn’t already made available to you.

Many have only related to God with a victim’s mentality and that’s wrong. They only see Him as the One who “brings” them out of trouble. So all their lives they’re looking up to this great God who “will” help them out, lift them up, bless them, and so on, unaware of what He’s already done.

Ephesians 1:3 says, “Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ.” 2 Peter 1:3 tells us that His divine power has given unto us all things that pertain to life and godliness. Then in 1 Corinthians 3:21, Paul, by the Spirit, declares, “Therefore let no man glory in men. For all things are yours.”

It’s time to wake up to the reality of God’s Word and live in its present truths. Today, God doesn’t have any plan to prosper you, because He’s already done it. He’s not planning to heal you, because He already gave you something greater than healing—the divine nature that comes with divine health. He gave you a life that’s immune to sickness, disease, infirmity and death.

But if you don’t know these truths, you’ll live as a victim. God said “My people perish for their lack of knowledge” (Hosea 4:6). Have the Christ mentality; you’ve been brought into the transcendent life in Christ. Talk, act, and live accordingly.

CONFESSION

I’ve been brought into the transcendent life in Christ; I’m not a victim of circumstances. I’m empowered by the Spirit to overcome every obstacle that comes my way. I have everything I need to live a triumphant life, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
