주님과 하나로 묶였습니다
Bonded Together With Him
“소년이라도 피곤하며 곤비하며 장정이라도 넘어지며 쓰러지되 오직 여호와를 앙망하는 자는 새 힘을 얻으리니 독수리가 날개치며 올라감 같을 것이요 달음박질하여도 곤비하지 아니하겠고 걸어가도 피곤하지 아니하리로다”(사 40:30-31)
“앙망하다”라는 단어는 히브리어 ‘카바(qavah)’에서 번역되었으며, 이는 “모이다” 혹은 줄을 꼬아서 “함께 묶다”라는 뜻입니다. 이는 여러 밧줄을 꼬아서 하나의 밧줄을 만드는 것과 비슷합니다. 문맥상 “기다리다”라고 번역하는 것은 이사야 선지자가 해당 구절에서 말하고자 하는 바를 정확하게 전달하지 못하는 선택이었을 수도 있습니다.
예를 들어, 창세기 1:9에 등장하는 창조 이야기를 읽어보면, 하나님께서 하늘 아래 있는 물에게 한 곳으로 모이라고 명령하셨을 때 땅이 생겼고, 그때 사용된 히브리어 단어가 ‘카바’입니다. “하나님이 이르시되 천하의 물이 한 곳으로 모이고 뭍이 드러나라 하시니 그대로 되니라”
또한 예레미야 3:17에서는 사람들이 연합하거나 결속된다는 개념을 강조하면서도 같은 단어를 사용했습니다. “그 때에 예루살렘이 그들에게 여호와의 보좌라 일컬음이 되며 모든 백성이 그리로 모이리니”
따라서 이사야 40:31에서 “여호와를 앙망하는” 자를 말할 때, “함께 모인” 사람들 혹은 주님과 “하나로 묶인” 사람들로 이해해야 더 정확합니다. 그런 사람들은 새 힘을 얻게 됩니다. 이는 신약 성경에 비추어 우리에게 무엇을 말해줍니까?
고린도전서 6:17은 “주와 합하는 자는 한 영이니라”고 말합니다. 이제 당신은 왜 성령님께서 당신 안에 사시는지 이해할 수 있습니다. 그 풍성한 교제 가운데 당신과 성령님이 하나가 되었습니다. 바로 “하나로 묶이는 것”입니다.
우리는 신성과 하나가 되었습니다. 이는 분리할 수 없는 연합입니다. 우리는 그분 안에 있고, 그분도 우리 안에 계십니다. 하나님께 영광 드립니다! 이것이 바로 우리가 기도, 즉 방언 기도를 통해 그분과 풍성한 교제를 누리고, 힘을 얻게 되는 이유입니다. 우리는 연합, 관계의 위치, 영의 하나됨 안으로 들어왔습니다! 할렐루야!
당신은 매일 그 교제를 누려야 합니다. 들어갔다 나왔다 하는 것이 아닙니다. 당신은 그분 안에 있고, 그분은 당신 안에 계시기 때문입니다.
기도
사랑하는 아버지, 아버지와 지속적으로 교제하는 특권과 놀라운 축복을 내게 주신 아버지와의 분리될 수 없는 하나됨에 감사드립니다. 이 깊은 교제의 결과로 나는 아버지를 섬기고, 아버지를 위해 살고, 내 삶을 향한 아버지의 목적을 성취하기 위한 힘을 얻고, 활력을 얻으며, 항상 불타오르고 있습니다. 에수 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘.

BONDED TOGETHER WITH HIM
“Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall: But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint” (Isaiah 40:30-31).
The term “wait upon” is translated from the Hebrew word ‘qâvâh,’ signifying to “gather” or to “bind together” perhaps by twisting. It’s comparable to twisting ropes together to form one rope. Contextually, therefore, “wait upon” might not be the most accurate choice of words in translating what the prophet Isaiah said in that verse.
For example, when you read the creation story in Genesis 1:9, the same Hebrew word ‘qâvâh’ is used when God commanded the water below the sky to come together in one place, so that the land will appear: “And God said, Let the waters under the heaven be gathered together unto one place, and let the dry land appear: and it was so.”
Also, in Jeremiah 3:17, where the scriptures emphasized the idea of people being united or bonded together, the same word is used: “At that time they shall call Jerusalem the throne of the LORD, and all the nations shall be gathered unto it.”
So, when Isaiah 40:31 speaks of those who “wait upon the LORD,” a more accurate understanding would be those who are “gathered together” or those who are “bonded together” with the Lord; they shall renew their strengths. What does this tell us in the light of the New Testament?
The Bible says in 1 Corinthians 6:17, “he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit.” Now, you can understand why the Holy Spirit has come to live in you; you and the Holy Spirit have become one in that rich fellowship. It’s a “bonding together” as it were.
We’ve been brought into oneness with divinity; it’s an inseparable union. We’re in Him, and He is in us. Glory to God! This is the reason we can enjoy rich fellowship with Him in prayer—praying in tongues—and be reinvigorated through and through. We’ve been brought into a communion, a place of relationship, a oneness of spirit! Hallelujah!
You ought to enjoy that fellowship every day; it’s not something you go into and come out of, for you’re in Him, and He’s in you.
PRAYER
Dear Father, thank you for my inseparable oneness with you, which gives me the privilege and awesome blessing of constant fellowship with you. As a result of this deep communion, I’m strengthened, energized, and continually afire to serve you, live for you and fulfil your purpose for my life, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
