찬양을 통해 그분의 능력을 활성화시키십시오
ACTIVATING HIS POWER THROUGH PRAISE
“너의 하나님 여호와가 너의 가운데에 계시니 그는 구원을 베푸실 전능자이시라 그가 너로 말미암아 기쁨을 이기지 못하시며 너를 잠잠히 사랑하시며 너로 말미암아 즐거이 부르며 기뻐하시리라 하리라”(습3:17)
오늘의 본문 구절은 하나님의 능력, 그분의 구원의 능력이 찬양을 통해 활성화됨을 알려줍니다! 많은 문제를 겪고 있는 그리스도인들이 이 말씀을 적용한다면 큰 승리를 거둘 것입니다! 하나님의 영은 찬양에 응답하시고 기쁨과 함께 당신을 환난에서 구원하실 것이기 때문입니다.
역사를 통틀어보면 위대한 승리는 하나님의 백성들이 찬양했기 때문에 나타났습니다. 역대하 20장을 보십시오. 유다는 암몬, 모압, 세일 산의 세 무리의 적들에 둘러싸여 수적으로 완전히 압도되어 있었습니다.
그 소식을 들은 왕은 군대의 장군들과 먼저 상의하지 않았습니다. 그는 온 유다를 모아 기도와 금식으로 주님을 구하였습니다. 그리고 하나님께서는 예언의 메시지를 통해 이렇게 말씀하셨습니다. “…너희는 두려워하지 말며 놀라지 말고 내일 그들을 맞서 나가라 여호와가 너희와 함께 하리라 하셨느니라 하매”(대하20:17).
그 다음 여호사밧은 찬양하는 자들을 세우고 군대보다 앞서게 하여 주님을 찬양하도록 했습니다. 다음으로 나오는 사실에 주목하십시오. 여호사밧은 그들에게 짧은 구절로 이루어진 간단한 시편을 주었습니다. 그들은 이렇게 찬양했습니다. “주를 찬양하라 그 인자하심이 영원함이로다.” 그리고 나서, 주님께서 적들의 진영을 혼란스럽게 하시고 서로에게 칼을 들어 멸망하게 하셨습니다. 할렐루야!
사도행전16장에서 바울과 실라는 거짓 고발 때문에 감옥에 갇혔습니다. 하지만 성경은 다음과 같이 말합니다. “…한밤중에 바울과 실라가 기도하고 하나님을 찬송하매 죄수들이 듣더라 이에 갑자기 큰 지진이 나서 옥터가 움직이고 문이 곧 다 열리며 모든 사람의 매인 것이 다 벗어진지라”(행16:25-26).
그들은 하나님께 구출을 구하지 않았습니다. 그저 하나님을 찬양했습니다. 바울과 실라는 그들이 주님을 찬양한다면 구출을 위한 하나님의 능력이 활성화될 것을 알았습니다. 우리가 성경에서 본 두 가지 예시에서 그들의 구원은 모두 찬양하기 전이 아닌, 주님을 찬양하고 있을 때 왔습니다. 할렐루야!
문제가 있거나 역경이 당신을 가로막고 사방에서 압박이 들어올 때, 하나님을 찬양하십시오! 찬양의 노래를 통해 그분의 능력을 활성화하십시오.

사랑하는 아버지, 모든 위대함과 권능이 당신께 속했습니다. 하늘과 땅의 모든 것이 당신의 것입니다. 주님, 당신을 사랑합니다. 자비롭고 의로우시며 참되신 주님께 감사합니다. 아멘.

ACTIVATING HIS POWER THROUGH PRAISE
“The LORD thy God in the midst of thee is mighty; he will save, he will rejoice over thee with joy; he will rest in his love, he will joy over thee with singing”(Zephaniah 3:17).
Our opening scripture lets us know that God’s might, His power of deliverance, is activated through singing! There’re many problems that some Christians go through, but if they’d apply this scripture, they’ll experience great victories! The Spirit of God responds to singing, and He’ll save you from trouble with rejoicing.
Throughout history, great victories have been wrought because God’s people sang. Think about it. In 2 Chronicles 20, Judah was surrounded and completely outnumbered by three enemy nations that were ready to attack them—Ammon, Moab, and Mount Seir.
When the king was informed, he didn’t first consult with his army generals. He gathered all Judah together to seek the Lord in prayer and fasting, and God said through a prophetic message, “…fear not, nor be dismayed; tomorrow go out against them: for the LORD will be with you” (2 Chronicles 20:17).
Jehoshaphat then appointed singers and placed them ahead of the army to praise the Lord. But here’s what I want you to observe. He gave them a simple Psalm to sing; just a short phrase. They sang, “Praise the LORD, For His mercy endures forever.” Then, the Lord confused the enemy’s camp, causing them to turn their swords against each other until they completely destroyed one another. Hallelujah!
In Acts 16, Paul and Silas were falsely accused and incarcerated. But “…at midnight Paul and Silas prayed, and sang praises unto God: and the prisoners heard them. And suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken: and immediately all the doors were opened, and every one’s bands were loosed” (Acts 16:25-26).
They didn’t ask God for deliverance; they only sang praises to God. They knew that if they’d praise the Lord, His power will be activated for their deliverance. In both examples we saw in the Scriptures, their salvation came, not before they would praise, but as they praised the Lord. Hallelujah!
When there’s trouble, when it seems the odds are against you, when there’s heat from every side; sing praises to God! Activate His power, through songs of praise.
PRAYER
Dear Father, to you belong all greatness and might. All in heaven and earth are yours. You’re exalted above all. I love you, Lord; and I thank you, for you’re gacious, righteous and true. Amen.
