주 예수님께서 물리적으로 이 땅에 계셨음에도 불구하고 자신을 하늘에 있는 인자라고 말씀하셨을 때 이에 대해 아름답게 설명해 주셨습니다. “하늘에서 내려온 자 곧 인자 외에는 하늘에 올라간 자가 없느니라”(요 3:13) 예수님은 사람들 가운데 거하시는 동안 하늘 왕국의 원리에 따라 사셨고, 모든 방면에서 승리하셨습니다!
그리스도인으로서 당신은 하나님 왕국의 영적 원리와 가치를 따르며 이 땅에서 살아가야 합니다. 이 왕국 의식은 당신이 이 땅에서 하늘의 관점으로 살 수 있는 힘을 줍니다. 오늘의 본문 구절의 문맥을 살펴보면, 당신이 영으로부터 살아야 한다는 것과 천국은 당신의 영 안에 있다는 것을 알 수 있습니다. 성경은 “… 또 사람들에게는 영원을 사모하는 마음을 주셨느니라…”(전 3:11)고 말합니다.
천국으로부터 사십시오. 이 의식은 건강을 포함한 당신의 삶과 관련된 모든 것에 영향을 끼칠 것입니다. 이는 중요합니다. 종종 “신실하고” 헌신적인 그리스도인들이 끔찍한 어려움을 겪는지 궁금해하는 사람들이 있기 때문입니다. 심지어 어떤 사람들은 병들어 죽기도 합니다. 당신은 건강이 하나님을 섬기는 것에 대한 “보상”이 아니라는 것을 이해해야 합니다. 성경은 그런 약속을 하지 않습니다.
그러나 당신의 신실한 섬김에 대한 보상은 천국에 예비되어 있습니다. 우리가 천국에 갈 때, 우리의 섬김에 대한 보상이 무엇인지 알게 될 것이고, 그 보상을 누릴 새 땅으로 돌아갈 것입니다. 그러나 이 땅에서 왕국 원칙을 적용하고 하나님의 말씀을 사용하며 초월적으로 살고 육신을 건강하게 유지하는 것은 당신의 책임입니다. 그러므로 말씀에 집중하십시오. 항상 말씀을 말하십시오. 말씀을 행하는 자가 되고 감각적인 정보로 인해 요동하지 마십시오.
기도
사랑하는 아버지, 하나님의 말씀을 따라 살고 왕국 원리를 적용할 수 있는 특권에 감사드립니다. 나는 믿음으로 행하고 보는 것으로 행하지 않습니다. 나는 매일 하나님의 왕국을 인식하며 이 땅에서 하늘의 관점으로 살아갑니다. 나는 이 세상의 도전에 흔들리기를 거절하며 영, 혼, 몸을 하나님의 뜻과 목적에 맞춥니다. 내가 그리스도 예수 안에서 소유한 승리에 감사드립니다. 아멘.

APPLY THE HIGHER PRINCIPLES OF THE KINGDOM
“For we walk by faith, not by sight” (2 Corinthians 5:7).
Being born again, you’re not of this world; you belong in God’s Kingdom. You must carry this consciousness every day, that you’re from above. In John 17:14-16, the Lord Jesus, referring to His disciples said, “…they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world….” So, you’re in this world, but not of this world.
The Lord Jesus beautifully exemplified this when he referred to Himself as the Son of man who is in heaven, even while physically present on earth: “And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven” (John 3:13). He lived by the principles of the Kingdom of heaven while dwelling here among men, and He was victorious on every count!
As Christians, you’re to navigate this earthly life, guided by the spiritual principles and values of God’s Kingdom. This Kingdom-consciousness empowers you to live with a heavenly perspective here on earth. In fact, if you read our opening verse in context, it reveals that you’re meant to live from the inside out—from your spirit and heaven is in your spirit. The Bible says, “He has also set eternity in the human heart” (Ecclesiastes 3:11 NIV).
Live from heaven. This consciousness will impact everything about your life, including your health. This is important, because oftentimes, there’re those who wonder why certain “faithful” and committed Christians suffer terrible calamities. Some even get sick and die sick. Well, you have to understand that health isn’t a “reward” for serving God; the Bible doesn’t promise that.
Instead, the reward of your faithful service is reserved for you in heaven. When we get there, the rewards for our service will be announced, and we’ll return to the new earth to enjoy them. However, here on earth, it’s your responsibility to apply Kingdom principles—use the Word of God—to live transcendently and keep your physical body in health. So, keep your focus on the Word; speak it forth always. Be a doer of the Word and refuse to be moved by sensory perceptions.
PRAYER
Dear Father, I thank you for the privilege to live by your Word and apply Kingdom principles. I declare that I walk by faith and not by sight. I maintain a consciousness of your Kingdom every day, living with the heavenly perspective here on earth. I refuse to be moved by the challenges of this world but I align my entire being—spirit, soul, and body—with your will and purposes. Thank you for the victory I have in Christ Jesus. Amen.
