그리스도를 당신의 지혜로 인식하십시오
Acknowledge Christ As Your Wisdom

“너희는 하나님으로부터 나서 그리스도 예수 안에 있고 예수는 하나님으로부터 나와서 우리에게 지혜와 의로움과 거룩함과 구원함이 되셨으니”(고전 1:30)

많은 그리스도인들은 그리스도를 자신의 의로움, 거룩함, 구원함으로 여기지만 그리스도께서 자신의 지혜라는 심오한 실재를 간과합니다. 오늘의 본문 구절을 다시 읽어보십시오. “… 예수는 하나님으로부터 나와서 우리에게 지혜와 …”
이는 바울이 골로새서 1:27에서 말한 내용을 생각나게 합니다. “… 너희 안에 계신 그리스도시니 곧 영광의 소망이니라” 사람이 죄를 지은 후 하나님의 영광에 이르지 못했지만 그리스도께서 당신 안에 계실 때 영광이 되었습니다. 그리스도께서 당신 안에 계실 때 지혜 역시 온 것입니다. 그리스도가 당신의 지혜이시므로 그분께 더 이상 지혜를 구하지 마십시오.
건전하게 혹은 정확하게 생각하지 못하는 사람들을 본 적이 있습니까? 대화하는 동안 그들의 반응은 당신을 어리둥절하게 하고, 그들의 사고방식은 경솔함을 보여줍니다. 마치 어리석음이 날뛰는 것 같습니다. 안타깝게도 그들은 자신의 부족한 통찰력을 인식하지 못합니다. 예를 들어, 그들이 공개적으로 발언해야 할 때 말하는 내용을 들어보면 당황스럽습니다. 그들에게 지혜가 없기 때문입니다.

지금 이렇게 선포하십시오. “그리스도는 나의 지혜이십니다. 따라서 나는 모든 위기와 상황에 대한 지혜를 가지고 있습니다.” 할렐루야! 당신이 신성한 지혜 안에서 행할 때 당신은 어리석은 생각이나 말을 하지 않습니다. 당신의 아이디어, 생각, 말은 건전하고 탁월합니다. 당신은 현명하고, 분별력이 있고, 통찰력이 있고, 신중합니다. 당신은 항상, 언제나 정확한 판단과 결정을 내립니다.

ACKNOWLEDGE CHRIST AS YOUR WISDOM

“But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption” (1 Corinthians 1:30).

Oftentimes, many Christians acknowledge Christ as their righteousness, sanctification, and justification, yet overlook the profound reality that Christ is their wisdom. Read the first few words again; it says, “…Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom….”
It brings to mind what Paul said in Colossians 1:27; “…Christ in you, the hope of glory:” When man sinned, he fell short of the glory of God, but Christ in you, glory restored. In the same way, Christ in you, wisdom has come. Christ is your wisdom, so don’t ask Him for wisdom anymore.
Have you ever encountered individuals who don’t reason soundly or correctly? During a discussion, their responses leave you bewildered, their thought pattern reeks of thoughtlessness; it’s like foolishness on rampage. Sadly, they’re oblivious to their own lack of insight. When prompted to express themselves publicly, for example, their utterances become disconcerting. This is because wisdom eludes them.
Wisdom is not something acquired in the classroom, and it doesn’t necessarily come with age; it’s from God. As a Christian, you have access to divine wisdom because Jesus Christ is the embodiment of all wisdom. But you see, you must boldly affirm that He’s your wisdom to walk in the reality of it!
Even now, declare, “Christ is my wisdom; therefore, I have wisdom over all crises of life and for every situation.” Hallelujah! When you walk in divine wisdom you don’t give vent to foolish reasonings or communications; your ideas, thoughts and words are sound and excellent. You’re sagacious, discerning, perceptive, and prudent. You’ll always, and at all times, make accurate judgments and decisions.

PRAYER
Dear Father, thank you for I’m born after the image of Christ, in whom are hid all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge. Christ is my wisdom; therefore, I make wise, right, and perfect decisions in line with your divine destiny for my life! I live in your will, guided, guarded and propelled by wisdom, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

The Eternal Nature Of His Ministry

“내가 네 갈 길을 가르쳐 보이고 너를 주목하여 훈계하리로다”(시 32:8)

만일 모세, 다윗, 이사야, 욥, 솔로몬, 미가, 또는 구약 시대의 선지자 중 누군가가 오늘 나타난다면 우리에게 어떤 말을 해줄 것 같습니까? 만일 오늘 사도 베드로, 바울, 야고보, 요한이 당신에게 나타나서 사역한다면, 그들은 어떤 말을 할 것 같습니까?
나는 그들이 당신에게 무슨 말을 할 지 압니다. 그들은 자신들이 쓴 글에 있는 내용을 정확히 말해 줄 것입니다. 그들의 사역은 자신이 쓴 글들에 담겨 있으므로 그 이상 말하지 않을 것입니다. 그들은 더할 수 없습니다. 그러나 주 예수님의 경우는 다릅니다.

주 예수님과 옛 선지자 및 사도들의 차이점은 예수님 사역의 영원성입니다. 예수님은 우리 가운데 그분의 사역을 지속하기 위해 성령님을 보내셨습니다. 주님의 말씀은 시간과 상황을 초월하는 영원한 관련성을 가지고 있습니다. 주님은 성령님에 대해 “내 것을 가지고 너희에게 알리시겠음이라”고 말씀하셨습니다.
성령님은 예수님 사역의 본질을 우리에게 전하시고, 우리를 가르치고, 우리에게 말씀하시고, 우리를 모든 진리 가운데로 인도하십니다. 이 신성한 관계는 주 예수님의 특별한 사역이 우리 안에서, 우리를 통해, 우리 가운데, 심지어 이 시대에 지속되게 합니다. 할렐루야!

THE ETERNAL NATURE OF HIS MINISTRY

“I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye” (Psalm 32:8).

If Moses, David, Isaiah, Job, King Solomon, Micah, or any of the prophets of old were to show up on the scene today, what will they say to us? If the apostles Peter, Paul, James, or John were to appear to you today, to minister to you, what would they say?
I can tell you what they would say to you. They would say to you exactly what’s in their writings. They wouldn’t say anything more because their ministries were sealed with those writings. They can’t add to it. But with the Lord Jesus, it’s different.
The difference with Jesus is that His death didn’t end or seal His ministry. He arose and continued His ministry till this day. So, if the Lord Jesus were to appear to you today, He could say new things, but they’ll be consistent with what He already said. John 16:12-14 says, “I have yet many things to say unto you, but ye cannot bear them now. Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come. He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall shew it unto you. All things that the Father hath are mine: therefore said I, that he shall take of mine, and shall shew it unto you.”
The difference between the Lord Jesus and the prophets and apostles of old is the eternal nature of His ministry. He sent the Holy Spirit to continue His ministry among us. His words possess an eternal relevance that transcends time and circumstances. He said of the Holy Spirit, “He shall take of mine and show it to you.”
The Holy Spirit imparts the essence of Jesus’ ministry to us, teaching us, speaking to us, and guiding us into all truth. This divine partnership ensures that the extraordinary ministry of the Lord Jesus endures in us, through us, and among us, even in this present age. Hallelujah!

PRAYER
Dear Father, thank you for the eternal nature of your ministry. I discern your voice amidst the clamour of the world, and I yield myself to the Holy Spirit, who guides me into deeper revelation of your truth. I’m indeed a conduit of your love and grace as you continue to transform and impact lives through me, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

You In Christ And Christ In You

“내가 그리스도와 함께 십자가에 못 박혔나니 그런즉 이제는 내가 사는 것이 아니요 오직 내 안에 그리스도께서 사시는 것이라 이제 내가 육체 가운데 사는 것은 나를 사랑하사 나를 위하여 자기 자신을 버리신 하나님의 아들을 믿는 믿음 안에서 사는 것이라”(갈 2:20)

고린도후서 5:17에서 사도 바울은 새로운 피조물과 구원에 대한 심오한 진리를 말합니다. “그런즉 누구든지 그리스도 안에 있으면 새로운 피조물이라 이전 것은 지나갔으니 보라 새 것이 되었도다” 그가 “…누구든지 그리스도 안에 있으면…” 이라고 말한 것에 주목하십시오. 구원은 그리스도 안에 있는 당신입니다!
우리는 또 다른 진리를 골로새서 1:26-27에서 볼 수 있습니다. 사도 바울은 기독교의 본질을 다음과 같이 아름답게 요약해서 말합니다. “이 비밀은 만세와 만대로부터 감추어졌던 것인데 이제는 그의 성도들에게 나타났고 하나님이 그들로 하여금 이 비밀의 영광이 이방인 가운데 얼마나 풍성한지를 알게 하려 하심이라 이 비밀은 너희 안에 계신 그리스도시니 곧 영광의 소망이니라”
이제 구원은 그리스도 안에 있는 당신이며 기독교는 당신 안에 있는 그리스도입니다. 기독교는 당신 안에 거하시는 그리스도입니다. 당신 안에 나타나신 그리스도이자 날마다 당신 안에서 사시고 나타나시는 그리스도입니다. 바로 그것이 기독교입니다. 바울이 에베소서 5:30에서 다음과 같은 심오한 내용을 말한 것은 놀라운 일이 아닙니다. “우리는 그 몸의 지체임이라” 이 강력한 그림은 우리가 그리스도와 맺고 있는 떼어낼 수 없는 연합을 강화시켜 줍니다.

YOU IN CHRIST AND CHRIST IN YOU

“I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me” (Galatians 2:20).

In 2 Corinthians 5:17, the apostle Paul articulates a profound truth about the new creation and salvation. It says, “Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.” Observe he says, “…if any man be in Christ…”; salvation is you in Christ!
We see another truth in Colossians 1:26-27. There, he beautifully encapsulates the very essence of Christianity: “Even the mystery which hath been hid from ages and from generations, but now is made manifest to his saints: To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory:”
Now, while salvation is you in Christ, Christianity is Christ in you. Christianity is Christ dwelling in you; Christ manifested in you, Christ alive and manifested in you every day. That’s Christianity. No wonder in Ephesians 5:30, Paul tells us something so profound: “For we are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones.” This powerful imagery reinforces the inextricable union we have with Christ.
1 Corinthians 6:15 says, “Do you not know that your bodies are the members of Christ?” In other words, your limbs are the limbs of Christ. Your hands, feet, and voice are all imbued with His presence and power. When you speak, it’s Christ speaking through you. When you minister to others, it’s Christ ministering to them through you.
The Master Himself declared, “He that heareth you heareth me” (Luke 10:16). This is the profound reality of Christ in us. Therefore, knowing this truth, you can boldly proclaim, “Every fibre of my being, every bone of my body, every cell of my blood, from the crown of my head to the soles of my feet, is all fully inundated with the life of God.”
You’re the embodiment of God’s glory; everywhere you go, you carry His presence and manifest His glory. You have the privilege of being the conduit of divine verities.

PRAYER
Dear Father, thank you for the blessing of having the fullness of Christ in me. I live in the consciousness of your glory, and your presence shines through me, blessing others and glorifying your Name, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

“한 사람의 범죄로 말미암아 사망이 그 한 사람을 통하여 왕 노릇 하였은즉 더욱 은혜와 의의 선물을 넘치게 받는 자들은 한 분 예수 그리스도를 통하여 생명 안에서 왕 노릇 하리로다”(롬 5:17)

바울이 오늘의 본문 구절에서 설명하는 내용을 살펴보십시오. 우리는 예수 그리스도를 통해 생명 안에서 다스려야 합니다. “우리는 장차 그분을 통해 다스릴 것입니다.” 라고 말하는 사람들이 있지만 그것은 옳지 않습니다. 말씀에서는 “생명 안에서” 라고 말하고 있고, 이는 이 땅에서 지금 일어나는 일임을 말합니다. 먼 미래의 일이 아닙니다.

교회 시대 가운데 우리가 사탄과 삶의 압박과 역경을 다스릴 기회를 포착하십시오. 당신의 세상과 영향권 안에서 그리스도의 능력, 사랑, 의를 나타내십시오.
우리 각자에게는 자신만의 세상이 있으며, 그분이 우리에게 주신 그분의 왕국을 위해 우리가 한 일에 책임을 지게 됨을 기억하십시오. 따라서 이 세상에서 예수 이름을 효과적으로 활용하십시오. 그리스도께서 당신의 영향권 안에서 당신을 통해 통치하실 수 있게 하십시오

WE REIGN IN LIFE THROUGH JESUS CHRIST

“For if, by the trespass of the one man, death reigned through that one man, how much more will those who receive God’s abundant provision of grace and of the gift of righteousness reign in life through the one man, Jesus Christ” (Romans 5:17 NIV).
Observe what Paul elucidates in the opening verse; we’re to reign in life through Jesus Christ. There’re those who say, “We’ll reign through Him in the future,” but that’s incorrect. It says “in life”; that’s in the earth, right now. So it isn’t relegated to some distant future.
From the resurrection of Jesus Christ until the rapture of the Church is the exclusive time when we reign through Him. That’s the Church Age and the sole period during which we exercise authority through Jesus Christ.
After the Church Age, we will reign with Him, not through Him anymore. These two phases are distinct, and it’s worth reemphasising. During the Millennium, that is, the one thousand years of peace when Jesus reigns on earth, we will reign with Him. Following this, we would continue to reign with Him forever. But in this present age, we reign through Him, exercising authority and dominion through His Name.
Understanding this truth empowers you to live victoriously, knowing that you’ve been appointed a ruler and heir with Christ. It’s not a time for complacency, no! Assert your authority in Christ and manifest His Kingdom on earth.
Seize the opportunity afforded to us in the Church Age to rule over Satan, the forces and adversities of life. Demonstrate the power, love and righteousness of Christ in your world and spheres of influence.
Remember, each of us has our own world, and we’ll be held accountable for what we did with His Kingdom that He conferred on us. So be sure to effectively utilise His Name in this world. Let Christ reign through you in your sphere of influence.

PRAYER
Dear Father, thank you for your grace bestowed on me to reign in life through Jesus Christ. I walk in the authority and dominion of Christ, impacting my world with your power, love, and righteousness, leading many into this same triumphant life, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

우리는 왕국을 받았습니다
We Have Received A Kingdom

“내 아버지께서 내게 맡기신 것 같이 나도 너희에게 한 왕국을 맡기어”(눅 22:29, 한글 흠정역)

주님께서 십자가에 달리시기 직전에 제자들에게 놀라운 말씀을 하셨습니다. 주님은 시련 속에서도 그들의 신실한 지지를 언급하시며 그들의 확고함을 인정하고 칭찬하셨습니다. 그런 이유로 주님은 29절에서 “내 아버지께서 내게 맡기신 것 같이 나도 너희에게 한 왕국을 맡긴다”고 말씀하셨습니다.
히브리서 12:28은 이 말씀의 깊이를 이해하는데 도움을 줍니다. “그러므로 우리가 흔들리지 않는 나라를 받았은즉 은혜를 받자 이로 말미암아 경건함과 두려움으로 하나님을 기쁘시게 섬길지니” 문맥을 주의 깊게 공부하지 않고 얼핏 보면 이 구절을 미래의 약속으로 이해할 수도 있습니다. 그러나 이 구절은 미래의 약속이 아닌 선포입니다.
현대 유대인 번역본으로 보면 이 구절이 선포라는 점이 더 와닿습니다. “그러므로 우리가 흔들리지 않는 왕국을 받았으니…” 우리는 흔들리지 않는 왕국을 받았습니다. 우리는 오늘, 이 시간에 왕국을 운영하고 있습니다. 우리는 지금 왕국 안에 살고 있으며 그 왕국의 권세, 능력, 통치권, 영향력을 행사합니다.
특별한 유업을 가지고 있는 왕국임에도 불구하고 많은 사람들이 이에 대해 잘 인식하지 못합니다. 당신이 이 세상에 있는 동안 실제로는 다른 운영 세계에 속해 있습니다. 그러므로 당신은 동시에 다른 두 세상에 살고 있지만, 오직 한 왕국 즉 하나님의 왕국에만 속해 있습니다.
그렇기 때문에 당신은 자신이 속한 하나님 왕국의 삶과 그 삶의 방식을 알고, 그것을 더 작은 세상인 이 자연적인 세상 위에 겹쳐 놓아야 합니다. 당신은 이 자연적인 세상에 왕국의 증인으로 보냄 받았습니다.

WE HAVE RECEIVED A KINGDOM

“And I confer on you a kingdom, just as my Father conferred one on me” (Luke 22:29 NIV).

A short while before the Lord’s crucifixion, He said something remarkable to His disciple. He acknowledged and commended them for their steadfastness, noting their faithful support during His trials. For that reason, in the 29th verse, He said, “…I confer on you a kingdom, just as my Father conferred one on me” (NIV).
Hebrews 12:28 further helps us understand the depth of this proclamation. It says, “Wherefore we receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear.” At first glance, if not studied with caution, and in context, one might perceive this as a future promise. But that’s not the case. It’s in the affirmative.
If you read it from the Contemporary Jewish Version (CJV), it conveys the sense of it being in the affirmative. It says, “Therefore since we have received an unshakable kingdom….” We have received an unshakable kingdom; in this day and in this hour of our lives, we’re operating a kingdom. We live in a kingdom right now, and we exercise the authority, power, dominion and influence of that kingdom.
It’s a kingdom with an extraordinary heritage but so many aren’t aware of this. While you’re in this world, you actually belong in another operational world; so, you’re living in two worlds at the same time, but you belong only to one of them, which is the Kingdom of God.
It’s the reason you must know the life and modus operandi of the Kingdom of God to which you belong and superimpose it on this natural world, which is the lesser world. You were sent to be a witness of the Kingdom to this natural world.
You’re the voice, the expression and the messenger of God’s Kingdom to the world. You’re to let the world know of the reality of the Kingdom, and get them to become a part of God’s Kingdom; you’re the one with the keys to bring them in. What an honour that we were raised, authorised and commissioned to make this happen. Hallelujah!

PRAYER
Dear Father, thank you for conferring on us a kingdom of unshakeable authority and glory. I live in the reality of this truth, and walk in the full blessings and extraordinary heritage of the Kingdom. I exercise the authority, power, dominion and influence of the Kingdom and walk on in victory, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

The Inheritance Is Already Yours

“그 눈을 뜨게 하여 어둠에서 빛으로, 사탄의 권세에서 하나님께로 돌아오게 하고 죄 사함과 나를 믿어 거룩하게 된 무리 가운데서 기업을 얻게 하리라 하더이다”(행 26:18)

하나님의 모든 자녀는 그리스도 안에 있는 썩지 않을 유업 안으로 태어났습니다. 당신을 위한 유업이 있습니다. 사도 바울은 에베소서 3:8에서 이를 가리켜 측량할 수 없는 풍성함이라고 말합니다. “… 측량할 수 없는(무한한, 깊이를 알 수 없는, 헤아릴 수 없는, 고갈되지 않는) 그리스도의 풍성함을 [어떤 사람도 찾아낸 적 없는 부]…”
하나님께 감사하게도 이것이 사실이라면 하나님의 풍성한 축복 가운데 살아야 할 많은 사람들이 왜 고군분투하고 있습니까? 그들이 하나님의 진리에 대해 무지하기 때문입니다. 하나님께서는 호세아 4:6에서 “내 백성이 지식이 없으므로 망하는도다”라고 말씀하셨습니다.
바울이 사도행전 20:32에서 이렇게 말한 것은 당연합니다. “지금 내가 여러분을 주와 및 그 은혜의 말씀에 부탁하노니 그 말씀이 여러분을 능히 든든히 세우사 거룩하게 하심을 입은 모든 자 가운데 기업이 있게 하시리라” 유업은 이미 당신의 것입니다. 그러나 당신이 말씀을 공부하고 묵상함으로 그리스도 안에서 이미 당신의 소유가 된 것들을 누리게 됩니다.
하나님께서 이 세상에 두신 모든 것은 천사들이나 하나님을 위한 것이 아니라 우리를 위한 것입니다! 만일 이것이 사실이라면, 왜 그리스도인이 그리스도 안에서 자신에게 속한 것을 얻기 위해 끝없이 노력해야 합니까? 뭔가 잘못되었습니다.
성경은 하나님께서 이미 그리스도 예수 안에서 하늘에 속한 모든 신령한 복으로 우리를 축복하셨다고 말합니다(엡 1:3). 하나님께서는 지상의 모든 남자, 여자, 소년, 소녀의 구원과 건강, 번영을 위해 필요한 모든 일을 이미 완수하셨습니다. 이제 그분은 모든 사람이 축복 속에 살며 자신의 유업을 누리기 원하십니다.
베드로후서 1:3은 말합니다. “그의 신기한 능력으로 생명과 경건에 속한 모든 것을 우리에게 주셨으니…” 이제 당신은 고군분투할 필요가 없다는 것을 아시겠습니까? 당신은 다양한 축복의 삶을 살게 되었습니다.
성경은 말합니다. “날마다 우리에게 은택을 더하시는 주…”(시 68:19, 한글 흠정역) 시편 18:19은 말합니다. “나를 넓은 곳으로 인도하시고…” 그곳은 명예와 부와 큰 영광이 있는 곳입니다. 바로 당신이 번영하고 당신의 모든 필요가 충족되는 그리스도 안에 있는 당신의 유업의 장소입니다. 유업은 이미 당신의 것입니다. 따라서 깨어나 그리스도 안에서 당신에게 속한 것을 누리십시오.

THE INHERITANCE IS ALREADY YOURS

“To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me” (Acts 26:18).

Every child of God is born into an incorruptible inheritance in Christ. There’s an inheritance for you. The Apostle Paul refers to it in Ephesians 3:8 as unsearchable riches: “…the unending (boundless, fathomless, incalculable, and exhaustless) riches of Christ [wealth which no human being could have searched out].”
If this is true, and thank God it is, why then are there many people who are struggling in life when they ought to be living in God’s abundant blessings? It’s because of their ignorance of God’s truths. God said in Hosea 4:6, “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge….”
No wonder Paul said in Acts 20:32, “And now, brethren, I commend you to God, and to the word of his grace, which is able to build you up, and to give you an inheritance among all them which are sanctified.” The inheritance is already yours; but through study and meditation on the Word, you enjoy that which is already yours in Christ.
Everything that God has placed in this world is not for the angels or Himself, but for us! If it is true, why should a Christian labour endlessly just to get something which belongs to him in Christ? Something is wrong.
The Bible says He’s already blessed us with ALL spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ Jesus (Ephesians 1:3). God already did everything He needed to do about the salvation, health, and prosperity of every man, woman, boy and girl on the face of earth. Now, He wants everyone to live in blessings and enjoy their inheritance.
2 Peter 1:3 says, “According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness….” Can you now see that there’s no need for you to struggle in life? You’ve been brought into a life of manifold blessings.
The Bible says, “Blessed be the Lord, who daily loadeth us with benefits…” (Psalm 68:19). Psalm 18:19 says “He brought me forth also into a large place….” That’s the place of honour, wealth and great glory; your place of inheritance in Christ where you prosper and all your needs are met. The inheritance is already yours; so wake up and enjoy that which belongs to you in Christ.

PRAYER
Dear Father, I rejoice in the unsearchable riches that are mine through the Lord Jesus Christ. Today, I declare my faith in your Word and walk in the fullness of the incorruptible inheritance I have in Him. I function from the place of blessing and abundance in Christ; the place of honour, wealth and great glory, where all my needs are met in your supply system, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

“우리가 아직 죄인 되었을 때에 그리스도께서 우리를 위하여 죽으심으로 하나님께서 우리에 대한 자기의 사랑을 확증하셨느니라”(롬 5:8)

하나님께서 사람을 얼마나 사랑하시는지요. 오늘의 본문 구절에 대해 생각해 보십시오. 이와 비슷한 고린도후서 5:19이 떠오릅니다. “곧 하나님께서 그리스도 안에 계시사 세상을 자기와 화목하게 하시며 그들의 죄를 그들에게 돌리지 아니하시고…” 할렐루야!
어떤 사람들은 우리가 그리스도의 사랑과 하나님께서 그 누구의 죄도 묻지 않으신다는 점에 대해 전하고 가르치는 것을 좋아하지 않습니다. 그들은 우리가 사람들에게 잘못 행할 수 있는 권한을 준다고 말합니다. 어떻게 그럴 수 있겠습니까? 그리스도의 사랑은 그 누구에게도 절대 죄를 지을 자유를 주지 않습니다.
진리는 당신이 주님에 대해 더욱 알게 될수록 그분을 더욱 사랑하게 된다는 것입니다. 그분을 안다는 것은 그분을 사랑하는 것입니다. 그리고 당신이 주님을 더욱 사랑할수록 그분을 불쾌하게 하는 어떤 일도 하고 싶어 하지 않게 됩니다. 그것이 사실입니다! 성경은 말합니다. “혹 네가 하나님의 인자하심이 너를 인도하여 회개하게 하심을…”(롬 2:4)
성경 말씀이 “하나님의 심판이 사람들을 회개하게 하고 그분을 사랑하게 만든다”고 말하지 않음을 주목해 보십시오. 그분이 하시는 일은 오직 우리를 사랑하시고, 도우시고, 축복하시는 것입니다. 우리가 화답하는 사랑은 그런 사랑입니다. 성경은 말합니다. “우리가 사랑함은 그가 먼저 우리를 사랑하셨음이라”(요일 4:19)
따라서 그리스도의 사랑이 사람들로 하여금 잘못된 행동을 하게 하고 그들이 교묘하게 빠져나가게 한다는 것은 옳지 않습니다. 주님은 우리에게 그분의 은혜와 사랑을 누리라고 하셨지, 그분께 대적하라고 말씀하신 것이 아닙니다. 그분의 말씀은 당신에게 죄를 삼가라고 명합니다. 로마서 6:1-2은 말합니다. “… 은혜를 더하게 하려고 죄에 거하겠느냐 그럴 수 없느니라 죄에 대하여 죽은 우리가 어찌 그 가운데 더 살리요”
진심으로 사랑하는 사람을 고의로 해치거나 언짢게 하는 사람은 없습니다. 하나님께서는 예레미야 31:3에서 이렇게 말씀하셨습니다. “옛적에 여호와께서 나에게 나타나사 내가 영원한 사랑으로 너를 사랑하기에 인자함으로 너를 이끌었다 하였노라” 생각해 보세요! 우리를 향한 그분의 사랑의 결과는 우리가 그 사랑에 화답하여 그분을 사랑하는 것입니다. 그리고 우리가 그분을 사랑하기 때문에 그분의 말씀을 지키는 것입니다. 우리는 그분이 원하시는 일을 합니다. 그것이 바로 예수님께서 말씀하신 내용입니다. “너희가 나를 사랑하면 나의 계명을 지키리라”(요 14:15) 그 누구도 그분을 사랑하지 않고서는 그분이 얼마나 사랑이신지 제대로 알 수 없습니다.
성경은 하나님께서 우리에게 보내신 메시지를 통해 그분이 우리를 사랑하신다는 것을 우리가 안다고 말합니다. 우리는 그 메시지를 받고 그분과 교제하게 되었습니다. 이제 당신이 그분과의 교제 안에 있기 때문에 당신이 원하는 것은 그분께 합당하게 행하고 범사에 그분을 기쁘시게 하는 것입니다.

기도
사랑하는 아버지, 예수 그리스도께서 십자가에서 하신 희생을 통해 우리에게 나타난 우리를 향한 아버지의 무한한 사랑에 대한 계시에 영원히 감사드립니다. 나는 아버지께 합당하게 행하며, 범사에 아버지를 기쁘시게 합니다. 나는 아버지의 사랑으로 말미암아 복음을 전파하고 죄인들을 죄에서 돌이켜 의와 하나님 아버지의 영광스러운 자유 안으로 인도합니다. 예수 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘.

TO KNOW HIM IS TO LOVE HIM

“But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us” (Romans 5:8).

How God loves man; think about what we just read! It brings to mind a related message in 2 Corinthians 5:19; it says, “To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them….” Hallelujah!
Certain folks don’t like it when we preach and teach about the love of Christ, and how God isn’t holding anyone’s sins against them. They say we’re giving people a license to do wrong; but how could that be? The love of Christ never gives anyone liberty to sin.
The truth is that the more you learn about the Lord, the more you love Him; to know Him is to love Him. And the more you love Him, the less you want to do anything that’s offensive to Him. That’s the fact! The Bible says, “The goodness of God leads men unto repentance” (Romans 2:4).
Notice that it doesn’t say, “The judgments of God make men repent and love him.” All He ever does is love, help and bless us. It’s that love that we reciprocate. The Bible says, “We love Him, because He first loved us” (1 John 4:19).
So, it’s not true that the love of Christ makes people want to do wrong, and think they can get away with it. No! He enjoins us to take advantage of His grace and love, but not against Him; not to do wrong. His Word demands that you abstain from sin. Romans 6:1-2 says, “…Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?”
No one deliberately hurts or offends the one who loves them genuinely. God said in Jeremiah 31:3, “…Yea, I have loved thee with an everlasting love: therefore with lovingkindness have I drawn thee.” Think about that! The result of His love for us is that we love Him in return. And because we love Him, we keep His Word; we do what He wants. That’s what Jesus said, “If you love me, keep my commandments….” No one gets to truly know Jesus, how loving He is, without loving Him.
The Bible says we know He loves us from the message He sent to us, and we received that message and came into fellowship with Him. Now that you’re in fellowship with Him, all you want to do is to walk worthy of Him, pleasing Him in all things.

PRAYER
Loving Father, I’m forever grateful for the revelation of your boundless love demonstrated towards us through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ on the cross. I walk worthy of you, pleasing you in all things; I’m compelled by your love to preach the Gospel and turn sinners from sin into righteousness and the glorious liberty of the sons of God, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

하나님의 의의 빛
The Light Of His Righteousness

“이는 너희가 흠이 없고 순전하여 어그러지고 거스르는 세대 가운데서 하나님의 흠 없는 자녀로 세상에서 그들 가운데 빛들로 나타내며”(빌 2:15)

주 예수님께서는 마태복음 5:14에서 “너희는 세상의 빛이라 산 위에 있는 동네가 숨겨지지 못할 것이요” 라고 말씀하셨습니다. 이는 우리가 오늘의 본문 구절에서 읽은 내용과 동일합니다. 이사야 60:2을 보면 이사야 선지자가 이렇게 예언합니다. “보라 어둠이 땅을 덮을 것이며 캄캄함이 만민을 가리려니와 오직 여호와께서 네 위에 임하실 것이며 그의 영광이 네 위에 나타나리니”
그리스도 예수 안에서 주님의 영광이 우리 안에 거합니다. 그래서 말씀은 우리가 그분의 영광이라고 선포합니다! 우리는 어둡고 냉소적인 세상에서 그분의 의의 빛입니다. 할렐루야! 세상에 있는 어둠과 문제들이 무엇이든지 상관없습니다. 당신은 세상이 필요로 하는 소망이자 해결책입니다.
요한복음 9:5에서는 주 예수님께서 다음과 같이 말씀하십니다. “내가 세상에 있는 동안에는 세상의 빛이로라” 그리고 요한일서 4:17은 말합니다. “이로써 사랑이 우리에게 온전히 이루어진 것은 우리로 심판 날에 담대함을 가지게 하려 함이니 주께서 그러하심과 같이 우리도 이 세상에서 그러하니라” 오늘날 세상에 있는 문제와 어려움은 당신이 하나님의 의의 영광과 빛을 발하고 나타낼 기회입니다.
당신이 세상에 있는 한 당신은 세상의 빛입니다. 빛은 방향을 제시합니다. 당신은 이 어둠 속에서 어떻게 살아야 하는지, 무엇을 해야 하는지, 어떻게 성공할 수 있는지를 세상에 보여주는 사람입니다. 예수님께서는 요한복음 8:12에서 이렇게 말씀하셨습니다. “… 나를 따르는 자는 어둠에 다니지 아니하고 생명의 빛을 얻으리라”
다시 이사야 선지자의 말이 기억납니다. “흑암에 행하던 백성이 큰 빛을 보고 사망의 그늘진 땅에 거주하던 자에게 빛이 비치도다”(사 9:2) 당신을 통해 사람들은 이 위대한 빛을 보고 있습니다. 그들을 어둠에서 빛으로, 사탄의 권세에서 하나님께로 돌아오게 하는 것이 당신의 사역입니다(행 26:18).
하나님의 의의 빛보다 더 위대한 빛은 없습니다. 그리고 우리는 그분의 의를 전달하는 자입니다. 우리는 땅끝까지 복음의 빛을 전합니다. 하나님을 찬양합니다!

고백
나는 하나님의 의를 전하는 자입니다. 나는 내게 맡기신 복음의 빛을 가지고 땅끝까지 갑니다. 나를 통해 세상은 말씀을 듣고 복음의 빛을 받아들이며, 어둠에서 빛으로 돌이켜 왕국의 빛 안에 있는 그들의 유업을 상속받습니다. 아멘.

THE LIGHT OF HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS

“That ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world” (Philippians 2:15).

In Mathew 5:14, the Lord Jesus said, “You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden.” It bears comparison to what we read in our opening scripture. In Isaiah 60:2, the prophet prophesied, “For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the LORD shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee” (Isaiah 60:2).
In Christ Jesus, the glory of the Lord is resident in us; so much so that the Word declares that we are His glory! We’re the light of His righteousness in a dark and cynical world. Hallelujah! It makes no difference what the darkness and problems in the world are, you’re the hope and the solution that the world needs.
The Lord Jesus said in John 9:5, “As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world.” 1 John 4:17 says, “…as he is, so are we in this world.” The problems and hardships in the world today are your opportunities to shine and manifest the glory and light of His righteousness.
As long as you’re in the world, you’re the light of the world. Light gives direction. You’re the one to show the world how to live, what to do, and how to be successful in the midst of the darkness. In John 8:12, Jesus said, “…anyone who follows me shall not walk in darkness but he shall have the light of life.”
Again, it brings to mind the words of the Prophet Isaiah, “The people that walked in darkness have seen a great light: they that dwell in the land of the shadow of death, upon them hath the light shined” (Isaiah 9:2). Yes, through you, they’re seeing this great light. That’s your ministry—to turn them—from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God (Acts 26:18).
There’s no greater light than the light of His righteousness and we’re the bearers of His righteousness—taking the light of the Gospel to the ends of the earth. Praise God!

CONFESSION
I’m the bearer of His righteousness—taking the light of the Gospel, which has been committed to my trust, to the ends of the earth. Through me, the world hears the Word and receives the light of the Gospel, and are turned from darkness to light, and catapulted into their inheritance in the Kingdom of Light. Amen.

오늘의 본문 구절은 하나님께서 탁월한 삶을 위해 필요한 모든 은혜를 당신에게 주실 수 있다고 말합니다. 야고보서 4:6은 “더욱 큰 은혜를 주시나니” 라고 말합니다. 하나님께서는 모든 일에서 탁월해지기 위해 필요한 역량, 특별한 기술과 능력을 당신에게 주십니다. 할렐루야!
이는 고린도후서 3:5에서 사도 바울이 한 말을 생각나게 합니다. “무슨 일이든 우리에게서 났다고 주장하거나 여기거나, 혹은 개인적으로 판단을 내리기에 우리 자신이 합당한 것이 (자격이 있거나 능력이 충분해서가) 아닙니다. 우리의 권세와 능력과 충만함은 하나님에게서 옵니다”(확대번역본) 하나님을 송축합니다! 바로 이것이 하나님께서 당신에게 주신 삶입니다. 그분은 당신을 효율적이고, 효과적이고, 모든 선한 일을 할 수 있게 만드셨습니다.

고백

EXCELLENT IN EVERY GOOD WORK

“And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work…” (2 Corinthians 9:8).

Our opening verse says God is able to direct all the grace you require for an excellent life towards you. James 4:6 says “He giveth more grace”; He endows you with the competencies, special skills and abilities required for excellence in all things. Hallelujah!
It brings to mind the words of the Apostle Paul in 2 Corinthians 3:5 AMPC: “Not that we are fit (qualified and sufficient in ability) of ourselves to form personal judgments or to claim or count anything as coming from us, but our power and ability and sufficiency are from God.” Blessed be God! This is the life God has given you. He’s made you so efficient, effective, and capable of any good work.
This should give you the mindset of endless possibilities. You have grace to excel in your job, family, academics and daily pursuits. You’re up to any task. Glory to God! So, like Paul, you can boldly affirm “I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me” (Philippians 4:13).
Once you’re chosen for something, there’s an assurance that it would turn out excellently. You make great things happen, because you’re specially graced to produce excellence. Read the words of the psalmist in Psalm 1:3 (NKJV). It says, “He shall be like a tree Planted by the rivers of water, that brings forth its fruit in its season, whose leaf also shall not wither; and whatever he does shall prosper.” That’s you; glory to God! Then Colossians 1:10 says, “That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God”

CONFESSION
I excel in every good work. Once I’m chosen for something, there’s an assurance that it would turn out excellently. I make great things happen, because of God’s divine power at work in me. He has endowed me with the competencies, special skills and abilities I require for excellence in all things. Blessed be God!
