추측이 아닙니다
Beyond Assumptions
“또 아는 것은 하나님의 아들이 이르러 우리에게 지각을 주사 우리로 참된 자를 알게 하신 것과 또한 우리가 참된 자 곧 그의 아들 예수 그리스도 안에 있는 것이니 그는 참 하나님이시요 영생이시라”(요일 5:20)
오늘의 본문 구절에서 “알다”로 번역된 그리스어는 “기노스코”입니다. 이는 계시와 전이를 통해 얻게 된 지식의 한 종류입니다.
예를 들어, 거듭난 우리는 하나님의 자녀라는 증거를 영 안에 갖게 됩니다. “성령이 친히 우리의 영과 더불어 우리가 하나님의 자녀인 것을 증언하시나니 자녀이면 또한 상속자 곧 하나님의 상속자요 그리스도와 함께 한 상속자니…”(롬 8:16-17)
예수 그리스도로부터 영생을 받은 당신의 마음 속에는 하나님이 당신의 아버지라는 지식이 있습니다. 이것은 추측이 아닙니다. 우리가 하나님으로부터 태어났다는 것은 성령님이 우리에게 주신 지식입니다. 우리는 하나님의 상속자이자 그리스도와 함께 한 공동 상속자입니다.
당신이 그리스도와 함께한 공동 상속자라는 지식이 있다면 어떻게 파산하거나 평범한 삶을 살 수 있습니까? 그리스도와 함께 한 공동 상속자라는 것은 예수 그리스도께 속한 모든 것이 당신에게 속한다는 것을 의미합니다. 그분은 당신이 소유한 것보다 더 많이 소유하시지 않습니다.
또한 우리의 영 안에 하나님을 아는 동일한 지식을 통해 그 무엇도 우리에게 해를 끼칠 수 없다는 것을 깨달을 수 있습니다. 로마서 8:28은 말합니다. “우리가 알거니와 하나님을 사랑하는 자 곧 그의 뜻대로 부르심을 입은 자들에게는 모든 것이 합력하여 선을 이루느니라” 이 구절에서 “우리가 알거니와”에 주목해보십시오. 이 지식이 완전하며 추측이 아니라는 뜻입니다.
우리의 영 안에 우리가 세상을 이겼다는 지식이 있습니다. 우리는 그리스도 예수 안에서 정복자와 승리자 그 이상입니다. 당신의 상황이 얼마나 어둡고 우울한 지는 중요하지 않습니다. 동요하지 마십시오. 우리가 가지고 있는 지식, 그리고 우리가 삶의 기준으로 삼는 지식은 감각을 초월합니다.
마찬가지로 우리가 기도할 때 우리의 기도는 추측의 영역을 초월합니다. 우리의 기도가 결과를 낳는 이유는 우리가 기도하는 대상인 분에 대한 우리의 깊고 친밀한 지식 때문입니다. 그분과 우리의 관계는 그분에 대한 우리의 지식을 바탕으로 합니다. 이는 종교적인 의식과 공식을 넘어섭니다.
그러므로 우리가 무엇에 관해 기도한다면 그것은 아버지의 뜻에 부합한다고 확신하기 때문입니다. 우리는 아버지의 뜻이 아닌 것을 추구하길 갈망하지 않습니다. 그분을 아는 지식은 우리로 하여금 그분을 완전히 신뢰하고 그분의 인도를 따르게 합니다.

사랑하는 아버지, 당신에 관한 깊고 친밀한 지식에 대한 지혜와 통찰력의 영을 주셔서 감사합니다. 내 영은 깨어 있어 당신의 세밀한 음성을 분별하고, 당신의 왕국의 신비에 관한 더 깊은 이해를 가집니다. 나는 당신의 완전한 뜻에 대한 충만한 지식을 가지고 은혜와 당신과의 관계 안에서 성장합니다. 예수 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘.

BEYOND ASSUMPTIONS
“And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true…” (1 John 5:20).
The Greek word translated “know” above is “Ginosko.” It’s a kind of knowledge gained by revelation and impartation.
For example, being born again, we have the witness in our spirits that we’re the children of God: “The Spirit Himself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God: And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ…” (Romans 8:16-17).
Having received eternal life from Jesus Christ, there’s a knowledge in your heart that God is your Father. This isn’t an assumption; it’s knowledge imparted to us by the Holy Spirit that we’re born of God. We’re heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ.
How could you be broke, or live an ordinary life, with the knowledge that you’re a joint heir with Christ? Being a joint heir with Christ means everything that belongs to Jesus Christ belongs to you, in the same way that it belongs to Him. He doesn’t own any more of it than you do.
Also, through the same knowledge of God in our spirits, we’ve come to realize that nothing can work to our disadvantage. Romans 8:28 says, “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God….” Notice the phrase, “we know,” meaning that the knowledge is absolute, this isn’t an assumption.
The knowledge that we’ve overcome the world is in our spirits; we’re more than conquerors and victors in Christ Jesus. It doesn’t matter how dark and gloomy things get; be unruffled. The knowledge we have and by which we live is beyond the senses.
Likewise, when we pray, our prayers transcend the arena of assumptions. Our prayers produce results because of our deep and intimate knowledge of the One to whom we pray. Our relationship with Him is based on our knowledge of Him; it transcends religious rituals and formulas.
Therefore, when we pray about something, it’s because we’re confident that it’s in accordance with the Father’s will. If it’s not His will, we don’t desire to pursue it. Our knowledge of Him causes us to trust Him completely, following His guidance.
PRAYER
Dear Father, I thank you for the spirit of wisdom and insight into the deep and intimate knowledge of you. My spirit is alert to discern your promptings, and have a deeper understanding of the mysteries of your Kingdom. I grow in grace and in my relationship with you, with a replete knowledge of your perfect will, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
