Born In Righteousness
“나 여호와가 의로 너를 불렀은즉 내가 네 손을 잡아 너를 보호하며 너를 세워 백성의 언약과 이방의 빛이 되게 하리니”(사 42:6)
이스라엘 백성들이 천년왕국에서 누릴 축복들을 우리는 이미 가지고 있고 또 그 가운데 살고 있다는 것이 영광스럽지 않습니까? 예를 들어, 의의 선물에 대해 생각해보십시오. 우리는 이미 의 안에서 태어났지만, 이스라엘 백성들은 천년왕국이 되어야 의를 누리기 시작할 것입니다.
예레미야 23:5은 말합니다. “여호와의 말씀이니라 보라 때가 이르리니 내가 다윗에게 한 의로운 가지를 일으킬 것이라 그가 왕이 되어 지혜롭게 다스리며 세상에서 정의와 공의를 행할 것이며.” 이것은 천년왕국의 시기를 뜻합니다. 이어서 6절은 말합니다. “그의 날에 유다는 구원을 받겠고 이스라엘은 평안히 살 것이며 그의 이름은 여호와 우리의 공의라 일컬음을 받으리라.”
천년왕국에서 주님께서 그들의 의가 되실 것입니다. 그들은 자기의 의로 살거나 자기의 의를 신뢰하지 않고 그들이 십자가에 못 박은 분의 의로 천년왕국에 들어갈 것입니다. 하지만 교회로서 우리는 이미 그리스도 예수 안에서 하나님의 의를 가지고 있고, 하나님의 의로서 살아갑니다.
의롭다 하심을 얻는 것도 마찬가지입니다. 이사야서 45:25에서 천년왕국에 대해 말하며 성경은 말합니다. “이스라엘 자손은 다 여호와로 말미암아 의롭다 함을 얻고 자랑하리라 하느니라.” 그들은 천년왕국에서 의롭다 하심을 얻을 것입니다. 한편, 우리는 이미 2000년 동안 의롭다 하심을 얻은 채 살아왔습니다.
로마서 5:1은 우리가 의롭다 하심을 받았다고 말합니다. 이는 곧 의롭다고 선언되었다는 뜻입니다. 무죄 판결을 받았다는 것입니다. 사도행전 13:39은 믿는 모든 자는 모세의 율법으로는 의롭다 하심을 얻을 수 없는 모든 것에서 이 사람(예수 그리스도)을 힘입어 의롭다 하심을 얻었다고 말합니다. 우리는 천년왕국에서 유대인들에게 약속된 것을 지금 가지고 있으며 누리고 있습니다. 할렐루야!
고백
나는 아버지의 영광을 위해 의의 일들과 열매를 맺도록 의 안에서 태어났습니다. 나는 예수 그리스도의 죽음으로 말미암아 상속된 의의 선물을 기뻐합니다. 그러므로 나는 의 안에서 다스립니다. 나는 상황과 이 세상의 요소들을 다스리며 살아갑니다. 예수 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘.

BORN IN RIGHTEOUSNESS
“I the LORD have called thee in righteousness, and will hold thine hand, and will keep thee, and give thee for a covenant of the people, for a light of the Gentiles”(Isaiah 42:6).
Isn’t it glorious that we already have and are living in the blessings that the children of Israel would enjoy as a nation at the millennium? For example, the gift of righteousness; we were born in righteousness, but at the Millennium, they would just begin to enjoy righteousness.
Jeremiah 23:5 says, “Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will raise unto David a righteous Branch, and a King shall reign and prosper, and shall execute judgment and justice in the earth.” This is about the millennial period. The 6th verse says, “In his days Judah shall be saved, and Israel shall dwell safely: and this is his name whereby he shall be called, THE LORD OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS.”
In the Millennium, the Lord will be their righteousness; they’ll come into the Millennium, not living by their own righteousness or trusting in their own righteousness but in the righteousness of the one they had nailed to the Cross. But as the Church, we already have and live as the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus.
It’s the same with justification. In Isaiah 45:25, talking about the millennial period, the Bible says, “In the LORD shall all the seed of Israel be justified, and shall glory.” They’ll come into justification at the Millennium; meanwhile, we’ve had and lived in justification for two thousand years.
Romans 5:1 says we’ve been justified; that is, declared righteous; acquitted. Acts 13:39 says by him (Jesus Christ), all that believe are justified from all things, from which they couldn’t be justified by the Law of Moses. We have and enjoy now what has been promised to the Jews in the Millennium. Hallelujah!
CONFESSION
I was born in righteousness, to produce fruits and works of righteousness to the glory of Father. I rejoice for the gift of righteousness bequeathed to me through the death of Jesus Christ. Therefore, I reign in righteousness; I reign over circumstances and the elements of this world, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
