우리는 예수님처럼 빛입니다
We’re The Light…Just Like Jesus
“너희는 세상의 빛이라 산 위에 있는 동네가 숨겨지지 못할 것이요”(마 5:14)
우리는 요한복음 8장에서 간음하다가 잡혀 돌에 맞아 죽게 될 한 여자에 대해 읽을 수 있습니다. 그녀는 예수님이 어디에 계시는지 알고 그분께 달려갔습니다. 군중이 그녀를 뒤따라와서 예수님께 말했습니다. “선생님, 이 여자가 한 일에 대해서 우리는 그녀를 돌로 쳐죽여야 합니다. 혹시 이의 있으십니까?”(요 8:4-5) 예수님은 이렇게 대답하셨습니다. “글쎄, 이의는 없지만, 너희 중에서 죄가 없는 사람이 먼저 돌을 던져라.”
성경은 군중이 들고 있던 돌을 내려놓고 의기소침한 상태로 떠났다고 말합니다. 그리고 12절에서 예수님은 그 여자를 진정시키고서 놀라운 말씀을 하셨습니다. “나는 세상의 빛이니 나를 따르는 자는 어둠에 다니지 아니하고 생명의 빛을 얻으리라”(요 8:12) 이 말씀과 예수님이 그 여자에게 하신 일에 어떤 상관이 있습니까?
이것을 이해한다면, 우리는 그분께서 우리에게 어떤 것을 기대하시는지도 이해할 수 있습니다. 그분은 요한복음 9장에서 태어날 때부터 소경이었던 사람을 만나셨습니다. 그분은 다시금 그 말씀을 반복해서 말씀하셨습니다. “내가 세상에 있는 동안에는 세상의 빛이로라”(요 9:5). 그리고 나서 그분은 기적을 행하셨습니다. “땅에 침을 뱉어 진흙을 이겨 그의 눈에 바르시고”(요 9:6).
그 간음한 여자는 죽기 직전의 상황에 처해 있었고, 예수님은 그 상황에 개입하셔서 “나는 세상의 빛이다.”라고 말씀하신 뒤 그녀를 구해 주셨습니다! 그런 후에 그분은 심지어 눈먼 사람을 보시고 “내가 너의 빛이다!”라고 말씀하셨습니다. 하나님께 영광 드립니다! 예수님은 그들에게 이렇게 말씀하신 것입니다. “나는 너희가 필요로 하는 그 존재이다. 만일 네가 구출이 필요하면, 나는 너의 구출이다. 만일 그것이 구원이라면, 나는 너의 구원이다. 만일 그것이 치유라면, 내가 너의 치유이다.” 그분의 말은 “내가 바로 그 사람이다.”라는 의미입니다. 할렐루야!
이제 그분은 우리에게 “너희는 세상의 빛이라”고 말씀하십니다. 갑자기 그분의 기대가 우리의 영에 분명해집니다! 이는 오늘 당신이 나갈 때 당신으로 인해 누군가의 삶에 변화가 일어난다는 뜻입니다. 만약 어떤 사람이 볼 수 없다면 당신을 통해 그의 눈은 회복될 수 있습니다! 아픈 사람은 치유 받게 됩니다. 절름발이는 걸을 수 있게 됩니다. 정죄 받던 사람은 해방될 것입니다. 어떻게 그럴 수 있습니까? 당신이 예수님과 같이 세상의 빛이기 때문입니다. 하나님께 영광 드립니다!
고백
나는 세상의 빛이며 숨겨질 수 없는 산 위에 있는 동네입니다! 그러므로 나는 기적과 초자연적인 일들의 영광스러운 나타남 가운데 행합니다. 나는 병든 자를 고치고, 나병환자를 깨끗하게 하고, 죽은 자를 살리고, 귀신을 쫓아냅니다! 내가 오늘 나갈 때에 나는 많은 사람들이 갖고 있는 문제에 대한 해결책이며 물음에 대한 해답입니다. 하나님으로부터 오지 않은 모든 것 곧 질병, 가난, 죽음, 결핍, 실패, 우울증 등은 내 앞에 무릎 꿇습니다. 주 예수 이름으로 기도합니다! 아멘.

WE’RE THE LIGHT…JUST LIKE JESUS
Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid (Matthew 5:14).
In John 8, we read of a certain woman who was caught in the act of adultery and was to be stoned to death. But it turned out she knew where Jesus was and ran to Him. The mob came after her, and said to Jesus, “Rabbi, for what this woman has done, we’re supposed to stone her to death; do you have any objections?” (John 8:4-5). Jesus said, “Well, no objections, but get started with any one of you who’s without sin.”
The Bible says they all dropped their stones and went away, crestfallen. Then in the 12th verse, after mollifying the woman, He made an astounding statement; He said, “…I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.” What’s the connection between this statement and what He did for that woman? If we understand it, then we can begin to understand what He expects of us.
In John 9, He came across a man who was blind from birth. Again, Jesus repeated that statement: “As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world”(John 9:5). And the next thing, He performed a miracle. “…he spat on the ground, and made clay of the spittle, and he anointed the eyes of the blind man with the clay” (John 9:6).
The adulterous woman was at the verge of death, and Jesus stepped in and said, “I’m the light of the world,” and saved her! Then He saw a blind man who didn’t even have eyes, and He said, “I AM your light!” Glory to God! Jesus was saying to them, “I am what you need me to be. If you need deliverance, I am your deliverance. If it’s salvation, I am your salvation. If it’s healing, I am your healing.” That’s the meaning of “I AM.” Hallelujah!
Now, He turns to us and says, “Ye are the light of the world.” Suddenly, His expectation dawns in our spirits! That means as you step out today, a change will take place in someone’s life because of you. If someone were blind, through you, he could have his eyes restored! Someone who was sick could be healed. A lame person could walk. Why? You’re the light of the world, just like Jesus. Glory to God!
CONFESSION
I’m the light of the world, a city set on a hill that can’t be hidden! Therefore, I walk in miracles and glorious manifestations of the supernatural. I heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, and cast out devils!
As I go out today, I’m the solution to the problems of many and the answer to their questions; everything that’s not of God—sickness, poverty, death, lack, failure, depression, etc.—bows before me, in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ! Amen.
