어떤 사람들은 일정 기간 내에 그들의 성공 목표를 달성하지 못할 것 같을 때 실망하곤 합니다. 그러지 마십시오! 당신이 어떤 시점까지 완수해야 하는 일 때문에 압박을 받게 된다면, 당신은 시간의 노예가 됩니다. 당신의 시간을 지혜롭게 사용하고 투자하되, 시간의 노예가 되지는 마십시오.
모세는 주님께 기도할 때 위와 같은 생각을 하고 있었습니다. “우리에게 우리 날 계수함을 가르치사 지혜로운 마음을 얻게 하소서”(시 90:12) 당신의 매일의 삶은 많은 것들을 성취할 수 있는 기회의 날입니다. 그러므로 하루하루를 잘 계획하십시오. 매일 최선을 다하십시오. 하나님이 주신 목적을 추구하기 위해 해야 할 일을 하면서 성령의 능력을 신뢰하십시오. 당신은 영원히 산다는 것을 인식하십시오. 하나님의 영역은 시간의 개념에 영향을 받지 않습니다.
그뿐 아니라 성공은 상대적입니다. 다른 말로 하면, 성공은 여러 단계에서 측정될 수 있다는 것입니다. 그러므로 당신이 원하는 결과를 다 보지 못했다고 해서 비참해지지 마십시오. 당신의 현재 상태를 파악하고 필요한 조정을 하십시오. 배움이 필요하다면 학습하고, 빠르게 앞으로 나아가십시오.
성공은 또한 은혜에 의한 것입니다. 그러므로 은혜의 유익을 더욱 의식하십시오. 은혜는 하나님의 신성한 능력이며 당신이 자신의 꿈을 뛰어 넘게 합니다. 시편 37:4-5은 말합니다. “또 여호와를 기뻐하라 그가 네 마음의 소원을 네게 이루어 주시리로다 네 길을 여호와께 맡기라 그를 의지하면 그가 이루시고”
주님께는 너무 어렵거나 불가능한 일이 없습니다(렘 32:27). 그러므로 그분을 신뢰하십시오. 그분은 시간과 낭비된 해를 회복시켜 주시는 분입니다(욜 2:25). 당신을 주님이 원하시는 모습으로 만들 수 있는 그분의 능력을 신뢰하십시오. 그분은 당신보다 훨씬 더 당신의 성공에 열정적이십니다. 그분은 일반적으로는 5-10년 걸리는 일을 당신이 순식간에 성취하게 하실 수 있습니다. 따라서 그분의 말씀에 굳건히 서서 당신의 목표와 꿈에 대해 불평하거나 겁먹기를 거절하십시오.
고백
주님께서는 그분의 때에 모든 것을 아름답게 만드시고 나와 관계된 모든 것을 완전하게 하십니다. 나는 그리스도 안에서 나의 운명을 성취하면서 매일 번영과 풍성함을 누립니다. 나의 길은 빛나는 빛과 같이 점점 더 빛나 완전한 날에 이릅니다. 할렐루야!

DON’T FRET OVER YOUR GOALS AND DREAMS
And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not (Galatians 6:9).
Some people get troubled, almost to the point of despondency when it seems they haven’t been able to achieve their goals for success within a given time frame. Don’t be that way! When you get under pressure because of what you want to accomplish within a certain time, you become a slave to time. Use and invest your time wisely, but don’t be a slave to time.
Moses had this in mind when he prayed to the Lord to “…teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom” (Psalm 90:12). Each day you live is an opportunity to accomplish so much, so schedule your day properly. Live your best every day. Do what you must do in pursuit of your Godgiven purpose, and trust the power of God’s Spirit to put you over. But while at it, be conscious that you live in eternity—God’s realm of life where time is an interruption.
Furthermore, success is relative; in other words, it’s measured at different stages. So, don’t become miserable just because you haven’t seen all the results you want. Review where you are at the moment and make the necessary adjustments; imbibe the required learnings and forge ahead.
Success is also by grace; therefore, be more conscious of the grace-advantage; God’s divine ability to cause you to excel beyond your dreams. Psalm 37:4-5 says, “Delight thyself also in the LORD; and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart. Commit thy way unto the LORD; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass.”
Nothing is too difficult for, or impossible with, the Lord (Jeremiah 32:27). Therefore, trust Him; He’s a restorer of time and of wasted years (Joel 2:25). Trust His ability to make you all He desires for you to be. He’s more passionate about your success than you could ever be. He can do for you or cause you to achieve in a second, what naturally should have taken you five or ten years to achieve. Therefore, stand firm on His Word and refuse to gripe or panic about your goals and dreams.
CONFESSION
The Lord makes all things beautiful in His time and has perfected all that concerns me. I enjoy my days in prosperity and abundance as I fulfil my destiny in Christ. My path is as the shining light that shines brighter and brighter unto the perfect day. Hallelujah!
