신성과 우리의 교제
OUR FELLOWSHIP WITH DIVINITY
“우리가 보고 들은 바를 너희에게도 전함은 너희로 우리와 사귐이 있게 하려 함이니 우리의 사귐은 아버지와 그의 아들 예수 그리스도와 더불어 누림이라”(요일 1:3)
우리의 사귐은 아버지와의 교제이고, 그분의 아들 예수 그리스도와의 교제라는 사실이 얼마나 강력한지요! 신성과 우리의 교제는 기독교의 가장 위대한 점입니다. 그리스도의 목적은 하나님과 같은 종류의 연합체 즉 하나님의 생명과 본성을 지닌 특별한 부류를 생산해내서 그로 인해 우리가 그분과 교제하는 것이 가능하도록 만드는 것이었습니다.
고린도전서 1:9은 말합니다. “너희를 불러 그의 아들 예수 그리스도 우리 주와 더불어 교제하게 하시는 하나님은 미쁘시도다” 이 신성한 교제의 결과로 아버지께 속한 모든 것이 우리에게 속하게 되었습니다. 주님과 하나됨의 축복입니다! 이것은 교제보다 더 깊고, 언약 안에 있는 것보다 더 위대합니다! 주님은 우리 안에서 그분을 보십니다. 그분은 우리가 만족할 때까지 결코 만족하지 않으십니다. 우리의 기쁨이 그분의 기쁨이며, 그분의 기쁨이 우리의 기쁨입니다. 사도 바울이 디모데에게 이렇게 쓴 것은 놀랍지 않습니다. “내 아들아 그러므로 너는 그리스도 예수 안에 있는 은혜 가운데서 강하고”(딤후 2:1) 주님과의 교제 안에서 그분의 은혜를 누려야 합니다.
하나님이 당신을 너무나도 사랑하셔서 당신을 그분과 하나되게 만드셨다는 사실을 알아야 합니다. 당신과 관련된 것은 무엇이든지 그분께 중요합니다. 당신은 그분과 따로 떨어져서 살아가지 않습니다. 이것에 대해 인식하십시오. 그러므로 당신은 그 무엇에 대해서도 혼란스러워 할 필요가 없습니다. 생각해 보십시오. 당신이 우주의 창조주와 연합되어 있는데 어떻게 결핍이 있을 수 있습니까? 우리는 하나님의 아들이며, 그리스도와 함께 한 공동 상속자입니다! 그분의 이름을 영원히 찬양합니다!
당신의 삶에서 하나님의 사랑을 누리고, 그분이 당신에게 주신 복된 교제를 즐기십시오. 그분과 함께 행하고, 대화를 나누며, 그분 안에서 충만하게 사십시오. 할렐루야!
기도
귀하신 아버지, 나는 언제나 내 영에 있는 아버지의 생명과 본성을 기뻐합니다. 그 생명과 본성이 나로 하여금 가장 높으신 하나님과 교제할 수 있게 합니다. 이는 내가 받은 모든 것 중 가장 높은 영광이자 가장 위대한 특권입니다. 내가 진정으로 당신을 위해 살고 나의 삶을 향한 당신의 뜻과 목적을 성취하도록 나를 당신과 떨어질 수 없는 하나가 되게 하심에 감사드립니다. 예수 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘.

OUR FELLOWSHIP WITH DIVINITY
That which we have seen and heard we declare to you, that ye also may have fellowship with us: and truly our fellowship is with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ (1 John 1:3).
How powerful this is: our fellowship is with the Father, and with His Son, Jesus Christ! This is the greatest thing about Christianity—our fellowship with divinity. Christ’s purpose was to produce associates of the God-kind; a special class of being with the life and nature of God, thus making it possible for us to fellowship with Him.
1 Corinthians 1:9 says, “God is faithful, by whom ye were called unto the fellowship of his Son Jesus Christ our Lord.” As a result of this divine fellowship, anything that belongs to the Father belongs to us. Oh, the blessedness of our oneness with the Lord! It’s deeper than association; it’s greater than being in a covenant! He sees Himself in us. He’s never satisfied until we’re satisfied; our joy is His joy, and vice versa. No wonder, the Apostle Paul, writing to Timothy said, “…be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus” (2 Timothy 2:1). We’re to take advantage of His grace in our fellowship with Him.
You need to know that God truly loves you, so much so that He made you one with Himself. Anything that concerns you, concerns Him. You don’t function aside or apart from Him. Become conscious of this. It’s the reason you should never be perturbed about anything in life. Think about it: how could you be in lack when you’re in league with the Monarch of the universe? We’re sons of God; heirs of God and jointheirs with Christ! Glory to His Name forever!
Take full advantage of His love in your life and enjoy the blessed fellowship that He’s brought you into. Walk with Him, talk with Him and live fully in Him. Hallelujah!
PRAYER
Precious Father, I rejoice evermore for your life and nature in my spirit, which makes it possible for me to fellowship with you, the Most High God! This is the highest honour and greatest privilege ever conferred. I’m so grateful that you made me inseparably one with you, to truly live for you and fulfil your will and purpose for my life, to your glory and praise, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
