우리의 죄는 지워졌습니다
The Blotting Out Of Our Transgressions

“우리는 그리스도 안에서 그의 은혜의 풍성함을 따라 그의 피로 말미암아 속량 곧 죄 사함을 받았느니라”(엡 1:7)

많은 경우 “용서(forgiveness)”라고 사용된 단어는 실제로 “제거함(remission)”이라는 말로 번역되어야 합니다. 제거함이란 자유, 석방, 분리를 의미합니다. 그것은 죄가 존재하지 않았던 것처럼 그냥 풀어주는 것을 의미합니다. 즉 당신이 잘못을 저지른 적이 없었던 것처럼, 당신의 잘못이 당신과 완전히 분리되고 당신의 이력으로부터 분리되는 것입니다. 이를 상상이나 할 수 있습니까?

“어떻게 그럴 수 있나요?”라며 궁금해 하는 사람도 있을 것입니다. 그러나 이것이 오늘의 본문 구절에서 읽은 내용입니다. 하나님은 그분의 은혜의 풍성함을 따라 그렇게 하셨습니다. 그 의미는 예수 그리스도의 피 덕분에 사람이 죄를 지은 적이 없는 것처럼 그와 죄를 완전히 분리할 수 있는 능력이 하나님께 있다는 말입니다! 이것은 용서가 아닙니다. 용서는 사면한다는 뜻입니다. 용서를 받으면 당신은 비록 범법자라는 기록이 남아있기는 해도 처벌에서 풀려납니다.

어린 그리스도인이었을 때 우리는 자라면서 정확하지 않은 것들을 배웠습니다. 그런 가르침 중 하나가 거듭나지 않은 죄인은 제거함을 받지만, 그리스도인은 용서를 받는다는 것입니다. 즉, 당신이 거듭날 때 당신의 죄는 제거되었지만, 이후 잘못을 저지르게 되면 당신은 용서를 받는다는 것입니다.

그러나 생각해보십시오. 만약 죄인이 제거함을 받고 그의 죄가 완전히 지워지며 기억되지도 않는다면, 그리스도인이 자기 죄에 대한 기록을 갖고 있어야 할 이유가 무엇이란 말입니까? 그리스도인은 죄인이 받은 것보다 덜한 것을 받아서는 안 됩니다. 우리가 그리스도 안에서 가진 것은 죄의 제거함입니다.

그렇다면, 우리가 잘못할 때 어떤 일이 일어납니까? 당신은 자동으로 예수의 피로 깨끗해집니다. “그가 빛 가운데 계신 것같이 우리도 빛 가운데 행하면 우리가 서로 사귐이 있고 그 아들 예수의 피가 우리를 모든 죄에서 깨끗하게 하실 것이요”(요일 1:7) 할렐루야!

기도
복되신 아버지, 아버지의 자비에 감사드립니다. 아버지께서는 자녀들을 위해 죄를 제거해주셨습니다. 그러므로 온 세계의 그리스도인들이 아버지의 은혜와 의 가운데 걸음으로써 이 지식을 알아 원수의 고소에 묶이지 않기를 기도합니다. 예수 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘.

THE BLOTTING OUT OF OUR TRANSGRESSIONS

In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace (Ephesians 1:7).

In many places where the word “forgiveness” is used, it should actually be translated “remission.” Remission means liberty, release, separation; it means letting the offence or offences go as though they never existed. Your error is treated as though it never happened; totally separated from you, and separated from your history. Can you imagine that?

Someone might wonder, “How can that be?” But that’s what we read in our opening verse; God did it according to the riches of His grace. That means God has the capacity to completely separate a man from his sins as though he never committed any sin, by virtue of the blood of Jesus Christ! That’s not forgiveness. Forgiveness is to pardon. In forgiveness, you’re released from punishment, even though the record remains that you were an offender.

Growing up as a young Christian, we were taught certain things that weren’t quite accurate. One of such teachings was that the sinner gets remission, while the Christian gets forgiveness. That is, when you’re born again, your sins are remitted, but afterwards, if you do anything wrong, you receive forgiveness.

But think about it: if the sinner gets remission and his sins are completely wiped out, never to be remembered, why is the Christian having his own sins on record? The Christian shouldn’t be getting something lesser than what the sinner got. What we have in Christ is remission of sins.

What then happens when you do something wrong? You’re automatically cleansed by the Blood of Jesus: “But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin” (1 John 1:7). Hallelujah!

PRAYER
Thank you blessed Father, for your loving-kindness. You provided for the remission of sins for your children. I pray, therefore, that Christians all around the world would come to this knowledge and refuse to be held bound by the accusations of the enemy, as they walk in your grace and in your righteousness, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Transformation By The Word

“너희는 이 세대를 본받지 말고 오직 마음을 새롭게 함으로 변화를 받아…”(롬 12:2)

살면서 끝없는 승리와 성공과 진보를 경험하고 싶다면, 반드시 하나님의 말씀과 일치해서 생각하고 말하고 행동해야 합니다. 하나님의 말씀은 당신 안에서, 당신을 위해 그 말씀이 담고 있는 메시지를 생산하는 능력이 있습니다. 오늘의 본문 구절이 권면하듯이 말씀에 따라 생각할 때, 성공의 아이디어와 그림들과 끝없는 가능성과 승리가 당신의 마음에 넘쳐날 것입니다.

기억하십시오. 당신은 당신이 한 생각이 그대로 드러난 사람입니다. 그러므로 당신의 생각이 복음이 예비한 것과 일치할 때, 당신의 삶에 복음이 반영될 것입니다. 말씀은 삶을 변화시키는 하나님의 능력입니다. 말씀을 들을 때 당신은 반드시 그것에 반응해야 하며, 그 반응이 변화를 불러오는 것입니다. 당신은 자주 이런 변화를 경험할 수 있고, 또 경험해야 합니다.

직면한 도전에 상관없이 계속 말씀을 말하십시오. 그러면 머지않아 말씀의 영광이 그 상황에 나타나게 될 것입니다. 말씀의 영광은 “탁월한 영광”입니다. 그것은 어둠을 내쫓습니다. 할렐루야! 그 영광은 당신이 하나님의 말씀을 말하며 성령 안에서 기도할 때 드러납니다. 때로는 말씀을 확언하는 동안에, 말 그대로 당신은 영 안에서 성공과 승리와 통치와 연결될 수 있습니다. 그러한 것들은 당신의 영 안에 내재되어 있는데, 당신은 말씀을 말함으로써 그것들을 나타나게 할 수 있기 때문입니다.

전능하고 살아있고 양날이 있는 어떤 칼보다도 예리한 하나님의 말씀(히 4:12)이 당신의 삶을 다스리게 한다면, 당신은 경이로운 삶을 살게 될 것입니다. 당신은 상황에 굴하지 않고 오히려 승리하게 될 것입니다. 말씀의 사고방식을 가지십시오. 말씀에 집중하십시오. 그렇게 할 때, 당신의 삶 전체가 당신을 향한 하나님의 온전한 뜻과 일치하게 될 것입니다.

말씀은 저를 영광에서 영광으로 인도하는 제 생명이므로 저는 사역과 건강과 직장과 가족과 재정 분야에서 하나님의 영광을 경험합니다. 제 마음은 의와 진보와 가능성과 승리와 탁월함과 성공과 풍요함의 생각으로 새로워지며 넘쳐납니다. 예수 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘.

TRANSFORMATION BY THE WORD

And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind… (Romans 12:2).

If you’re going to experience unending victories, and progress in the divine walk, you must think, talk, and act in sync with God’s Word. God’s Word has the ability to produce in you and for you the message that it bears. When you think on the Word as our opening verse admonishes, ideas and pictures of success, endless possibilities and victory will flood your mind.

Remember, you’re the character of your thoughts; so, when your thoughts are in sync with the provisions of the Gospel, your life will be a reflection of the same. The Word is God’s power to transform your life. When you hear the Word, there must be a response from you, and it’s that response that brings about the transformation. This transformation is something you can, and should experience frequently.

Every time you hear the Word, it’s an opportunity for you to be transformed from glory to glory. 2 Corinthians 3:18 says, “But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory….” Your glory increases as you study and meditate on the Word, because the glory of God is in His Word. Your atmosphere becomes conditioned in your favour, as you speak in agreement with God.

Keep speaking the Word, irrespective of the challenges you might be facing, and before long, the glory of the Word would be revealed in that situation. The glory of the Word is “excellent glory”; it repels darkness. Hallelujah! That’s the glory that’s revealed as you pray in the Spirit, speaking God’s Word. Sometimes, while you’re yet affirming the Word, you could literally relate with success, victory and dominion in your spirit. That’s because they’re inherent in your spirit, and by speaking the Word, you cause them to manifest.

If you’d let the Word, which is all-powerful, quick and sharper than any two-edged sword (Hebrews 4:12), gain the mastery in your life, you’ll live an extraordinary life. You’d be indomitable, triumphing over circumstances. Have a mindset of the Word; have the Word as your focus! That way, your whole life will be in sync with the perfect will of God for you.

PRAYER
I experience the glory of God in my ministry, health, job, family and finances, because the Word is my life, piloting me from glory to glory. My mind is renewed and inundated with thoughts of righteousness, progress, possibilities, victory, excellence, success, and abundance, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

His Awe-inspiring Light

“그러나 너희는 택하신 족속이요 왕 같은 제사장들이요 거룩한 나라요 그의 소유가 된 백성이니 이는 너희를 어두운 데서 불러내어 그의 기이한 빛에 들어가게 하신 이의 아름다운 덕을 선포하게 하려 하심이라”(벧전 2:9)

성경은 하나님이 “빛”이시며 “빛들의 아버지”이심을 알려 줍니다. 그러므로 우리는 빛 가운데 거하는 빛의 자녀들입니다. 이것이 오늘 본문 구절의 후반부에서 읽은 내용입니다. 우리는 하나님의 기이한 빛 안으로 들어왔고, 그곳이 영의 영역에서 당신이 있는 곳입니다. 당신은 경외감을 불러일으키는 하나님의 빛 안에 삽니다. 그러므로 당신의 삶에 어둠이란 존재하지 않습니다.

하나님의 말씀만이 당신이 보는 유일한 빛이어야 합니다. 그 빛 아래서 당신은 오직 가능성과 승리만 보고 하나님의 영광을 봅니다. 그렇기 때문에 당신은 그에 따라 말하고 행합니다. 말씀이 당신에 대해 말한 것에 동의하여 확언하는 것이 바로 하나님의 빛 가운데 걷는 것입니다. 하나님은 당신의 길을 밝혀주려고 당신에게 말씀을 주셨기에 당신의 인생 여정은 어둡거나 불확실하지 않을 것입니다.

골로새서 1:12-13은 말씀합니다. “우리로 하여금 빛 가운데서 성도의 기업의 부분을 얻기에 합당하게 하신 아버지께 감사하게 하시기를 원하노라 그가 우리를 흑암의 권세에서 건져내사 그의 사랑의 아들의 나라로 옮기셨으니” 당신은 어둠에서 나와 하나님의 사랑의 아들의 왕국으로 옮겨졌습니다. 거기에는 세상의 어둠과 죄와 죽음과 악과 부패시키는 영향력이 없습니다. 당신은 하나님 아들의 은혜와 영광스러운 자유에 이르렀습니다. 그 영역에서 보고 사십시오. 그곳은 승리와 통치와 평안과 영원한 기쁨의 영역입니다.

HIS AWE-INSPIRING LIGHT

But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light (1 Peter 2:9).

The Bible lets us know that God is “Light” and the “father of lights”; therefore, we’re children of Light, dwelling in the light. That’s what we read in the latter part of our opening text above; we’ve been brought into God’s marvellous light; that’s your location in the realm of the spirit; you live in His aweinspiring light. Therefore, there’s no darkness about your life.

It readily brings to mind the words of Jesus in John 8:12; He said, “…I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.” We have, and must walk in the same light in which God dwells and functions. This means we’re to walk in His Word, for His Word is light (Psalm 119:105). Walking in His light means your mindset and perceptions are a result of the Word; you view and live your life only from the perspective of the Word!

God’s Word should be the only light by which, and with which you see. Under that light, you see only possibilities and victories; you see the glory of God; and because you see it, you talk and walk accordingly. When you agree with what the Word says about you, and then affirm accordingly, you’re walking in God’s light. God gave you His Word to light up your path, so there wouldn’t be darkness or uncertainties as you journey through life.

Colossians 1:12-13 says: “Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light: Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son.” You’ve been brought out of darkness, and translated into the Kingdom of God’s love-Son, where there’s no darkness, sin, death, evil and corrupting influences of the world. You’ve been catapulted to the gracious and glorious liberty of the sons of God. See and live from that realm; it’s the realm of victory, dominion, peace and joy evermore.

PRAYER
Blessed be God! He brought me out of darkness, and the miry clay, and set my feet upon the Rock to stay; that Rock holds me firm and fortified against the pressures and adversities of life. I dwell in the light wherein there’s no darkness or pain, but victory, dominion, and glory forever, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

성령 안에서 강하고 굳세어지십시오
Strong And Tough In The Holy Ghost

“그러나 나의 달려갈 길을 기쁨으로 끝마치고, 내가 주 예수로부터 받은 사역, 곧 하나님의 은혜의 복음을 증거하기 위해서라면 이런 일을 전혀 개의치 아니할 뿐 아니라 나의 생명을 조금도 아끼지 아니하노라.”(행 20:24, 한글킹제임스)

사도 바울처럼 우리가 직면한 역경은 전혀 문제가 되지 않습니다. 우리는 성령 안에서 강하고 굳셉니다! 우리는 “이런 일을 전혀 개의치 않는다”라고 확언합니다. 할렐루야!

때로는 그리스도께 대한 당신의 헌신과 복음의 확신이 시험받을 것입니다. 하나님의 말씀으로 사는 자는 분명 핍박받게 될 것입니다. 그러나 기뻐하십시오. 당신 안에 계신 분이 당신의 대적이나 박해자들보다 더 크시기 때문입니다. 그들이 당신을 대적하여 한 길로 올지라도, 당신 앞에서 일곱 길로 도망갈 것입니다.

당신에게 온 시험과 도전으로 인해 괴로워하지 마십시오. 주님은 당신이 어떤 사람인지를 아시기 때문에 그것들을 허락하신 것입니다! 당신은 정복자보다 나은 자 입니다(롬 8:37). 당신은 항상 승리합니다. 당신은 그리스도와 함께 연합하여 통치하고 다스립니다. 어떤 것도 당신을 밟을 수 없습니다. 당신이 직면한 도전이 거셀수록 당신의 승리와 간증은 더 위대해집니다. 그러므로 야고보는 “내 형제들아 너희가 여러 가지 시험을 만나거든 온전히 기쁘게 여기라”(약 1:2)고 권면했습니다.

주님께서 혼란스러운 상황에서도 기뻐하라고 말씀하신 이유는, 당신이 승리자라는 것을 알고 계시기 때문입니다. 당신이 직면한 어떤 상황도 당신을 압도할 힘이 없습니다. 고린도후서 4:8-9은 말씀합니다. “우리가 사방으로 욱여쌈을 당하여도 싸이지 아니하며 답답한 일을 당하여도 낙심하지 아니하며 박해를 받아도 버린 바 되지 아니하며 거꾸러뜨림을 당하여도 망하지 아니하고.” 왜 그렇습니까? 해답은 앞 구절인 7절에 있습니다. “우리가 이 보배를 질그릇에 가졌으니 이는 심히 큰 능력은 하나님께 있고 우리에게 있지 아니함을 알게 하려 함이라.”

당신 안에 있는 항상 이기게 하고, 지속적으로 승리하게 하며, 전진하게 하고, 우뚝 솟은 건축물처럼 직면한 역경과 박해를 능가해서 일어나게 하는 그 능력은 하나님에게서 온 것입니다! 그러므로 어떤 압박이 오더라도 결코 겁먹거나 포기하거나 약해지지 마십시오. 강하고 굳세어지십시오. 당신은 통치하고 다스리며 승리하기 위해 태어났기 때문입니다. 하나님을 송축합니다!

고백
나는 하나님으로부터 태어났으므로 이 세상과 실패하는 그 시스템을 이겼습니다. 격렬한 반대에 상관없이 나는 이깁니다. 나는 내 안에서 강하게 역사하시는 성령의 능력으로 영광스럽게 승리합니다. 나는 정복자보다 나은 자입니다. 나의 삶은 영광에서 영광으로 진보하며 사탄에 대해 영원히 승리했음을 확신합니다. 예수 이름으로 고백합니다. 아멘.

STRONG AND TOUGH IN THE HOLY GHOST

…none of these things move me, neither count I my life dear unto myself, so that I might finish my course with joy, and the ministry, which I have received of the Lord Jesus, to testify the gospel of the grace of God (Acts 20:24).

Like the Apostle Paul, it makes no difference the adversities we face; we stand strong and tough in the Holy Ghost! We affirm, “None of these things move me.” Hallelujah!

Occasionally, your commitment to Christ and convictions about the Gospel will be tested; as someone who lives by God’s Word, you’ll surely be persecuted. But be of good cheer, because greater is He that’s in you than all your adversaries and persecutors put together. They may come out against you one way, but they’ll flee before you seven ways.

Never be bothered about the tests and trials that come your way; the Lord allows them because He knows the stuff you’re made of. You’re more than a conqueror (Romans 8:37); you always win. You reign and rule in union with Christ; nothing can put you down. The fiercer the challenges you face, the greater your victories and testimonies. That’s why James, in his epistle, admonished, “My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations” (James 1:2).

The reason the Lord would ask you to rejoice when all hell seems to be breaking loose is that He knows you’re a victor. No situation that you face has the power to overwhelm you. 2 Corinthians 4:8-9 says, “We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; Persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed”; why? The answer is in the preceding verse 7; “…we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us.”

The power in you to always win, to consistently triumph, make progress, rise like an edifice—towering far above and beyond the adversities and persecutions that come your way, is of God! Therefore, never cower, give in or faint under any pressure whatsoever. Remain strong and tough, for you’re born to reign, rule and win. Blessed be God!

CONFESSION
I’m born of God; therefore, I’ve overcome the world and its failing systems. Irrespective of raging opposition, I win; I triumph gloriously by the power of the Holy Ghost that’s at work in me mightily. EMBRACE THE PICTURE OF THE NEW YOU

And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God (1 Corinthians 6:11).

Did you know that as one who’s born again, it’s wrong for you to keep seeing yourself as “a sinner?” Many live with this mentality and it reveals why they’re ineffective in their Christian walk. Now that you’re born again, your life is new and divine; therefore, embrace the picture of the new you. You’re the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus; as Jesus is, so are you in this world.

Have a greater consciousness of your new life in Christ. That life gives you power to live above sin. You may ask, “If this is true, why do I still do wrong things and think wrong thoughts?” It’s because you haven’t fully yielded and subjected yourself to the dominion of the Word, to live in, and by the Word.

It reminds of the account in 1 Corinthians 6:911, part of which we read as our theme verse. The Apostle Paul rebuked some of the Christians in Corinth because their way of life didn’t reflect the new nature of righteousness they had received. Yet, he didn’t call them “sinners.” He writes, “Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God. And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God” (1 Corinthians 6:9-11).

Notice he didn’t say, “And such are some of you…”; rather, he says, “…and such were some of you,” because now that you’re in Christ, you’ve been cleansed of all unrighteousness. You’ve been washed; separated from sin unto God, and declared righteous, in the Name of the Lord, and by the Spirit of our God!

Recognise your new identity; see the picture of the new you and live accordingly. Study and meditate on the Word; it shows your real glory; it reveals your true personality. You’re the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus!

CONFESSION
I’m the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus; therefore, I live with boldness without any sense of fear, guilt or condemnation, being confident in the Lord who is my righteousness, and in His righteousness, justifies the ungodly. Hallelujah!

A Supplanting Of The Old By The New

“…옛 사람과 그 행위를 벗어버리고 새 사람을 입었으니 이는 자기를 창조하신 이의 형상을 따라 지식에까지 새롭게 하심을 입은 자니라”(골 3:9-10)

그리스도인은 그저 종교적인 사람이 아닙니다. 거듭나기 위해 심령으로 그리스도를 받아들였을 때 당신이 받은 것은 종교가 아니었습니다. 당신은 말 그대로 새롭게 태어남 곧 하나님께로부터 태어난 것입니다. 요한복음 1:12-13은 이렇게 선포합니다. “영접하는 자 곧 그 이름을 믿는 자들에게는 하나님의 자녀가 되는 권세를 주셨으니 이는 혈통으로나 육정으로나 사람의 뜻으로 나지 아니하고 오직 하나님께로부터 난 자들이니라.”

A SUPPLANTING OF THE OLD BY THE NEW

…ye have put off the old man with his deeds; And have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him (Colossians 3:9-10).

In Christ, you have much more than mere religion. You received the life and nature of God when you received Christ into your heart. You were literally born anew; you were born of God. John 1:12-13 declares, “But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.”

You’re a new creature in Christ Jesus. You have the resurrection life, because you were raised together with Christ to a new life altogether. Ephesians 2:4-6 says, “But God…hath quickened us together with Christ…And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus.” When Jesus died, you died with Him. When He was buried, you were buried with Him. When God raised Him from the dead, you were raised together with Him.

You received a new life when He was raised from the dead. When He was raised from the dead, He was born again (Acts 13:33). He came up with a new life, the

resurrection life. So, when the Bible says, “Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new” (2 Corinthians 5:17), it means there’s been a supplanting of the old life by the resurrection life. You’re not the old man and former nature that sinned. That former self is dead; he died in Christ. Your new nature is identified with Christ: “Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life” (Romans 6:4).

Your past with all the failures, weaknesses, and defeat were buried with Him. Now, you have a new life in Christ Jesus. Hallelujah!

PRAYER
Righteous Father, I thank you for the reality of the new life of righteousness, which I’ve received in Christ. The old nature with its decadence, weakness, and defeat has been completely supplanted by the new life of righteousness, victories, triumphs, and strength. I walk in the reality of this transcendent life, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Persevere In Prayer

“예수께서 그들에게 항상 기도하고 낙망하지 말아야 할 것을 비유로 말씀하여”(눅 18:1)

PERSEVERE IN PRAYER

And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint (Luke 18:1).

Every Christian has a right to pray and expect answers; it’s part of our heritage in Christ. Knowing this, prayer should be for you, moments of fellowship and expectation. 1 Corinthians 1:9 says, “God is faithful, by whom ye were called unto the fellowship of his Son Jesus Christ our Lord.” We were called into communion and participation with the Godkind. This means you can talk to the Lord directly, and as a friend, and He’ll hear and answer you.

No wonder Jesus emphasized in a parable, the need for men to pray always and persevere in prayer. God delights in answering your prayers. 1 Peter 3:12 says, “For the eyes of the Lord are over the righteous, and his ears are open unto their prayers….”

Through prayer, your spirit is stirred to respond to the Lord more quickly. 1 Corinthians 14:4 says, “He that speaketh in an unknown tongue edifieth himself….” Moreover, when you pray in other tongues, you’re speaking mysteries, divine secrets: “For one who speaks in an [unknown] tongue speaks not to men but to God…in the [Holy] Spirit he utters secret truths {and} hidden things [not obvious to the understanding]” (1 Corinthians 14:2 AMPC). You can bring forth divine secrets regarding your family, business, education, and all that concerns you, if you’d pray fervently in the spirit.

You might not know what steps to take in certain areas of life, but as you pray in other tongues, illumination comes. Someone says, “But I’ve been praying in tongues and still haven’t received the direction or go-ahead for the things I want to do”; persevere! Keep praying, knowing you’ll surely receive answers. The Bible says if the clouds be full of rain, they empty themselves upon the earth (Ecclesiastes 11:3). Keep filling the clouds with your heartfelt prayers.

James 5:16 (AMPC) tells us that as the righteous, our prayers must be heartfelt and persistent: “…The earnest (heartfelt, continued) prayer of a righteous man makes tremendous power available [dynamic in its working].” You’ve been made righteous, and have become the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus; therefore, your prayers make tremendous power available, dynamic in its working. Hallelujah!

CONFESSION
Dear Father, I rejoice at the glorious impact and changes that take place in, and for me as I pray. Even now, I’m suffused in the glory of your presence, as your love fills my heart, and thrills my soul. Hallelujah!

“사람이 마음(heart)으로 믿어…”(롬 10:10)

거듭날 때, 당신은 마음(심령, heart) 곧 당신의 영에 하나님의 생명과 본성을 받았습니다. 당신의 혼과 몸에서 드러나는 궁극적인 변화와 영광은 당신의 영에 있는 하나님의 생명과 본성이 미치는 영향의 결과입니다. 그러므로 하나님은 당신이 영을 양육하고 계발하기를 바라십니다. 당신은 오직 자신의 영을 통해서만 그분과 접촉할 수 있기 때문입니다.

당신의 심령 혹은 재창조된 인간의 영은 하나님의 성전 곧 그분이 거하는 곳입니다. 그곳에 하나님의 왕국이 있습니다(눅 17:20). 우리에게 열심히 심령을 지키라고 조언하는 것은 당연합니다. “모든 지킬 만한 것 중에 더욱 네 마음을 지키라 생명의 근원이 이에서 남이니라”(잠 4:23) 삶에서 필요한 모든 것이 당신의 심령 안에 있습니다. 당신이 살 집은 당신의 심령 안에 있습니다. 필요한 돈도 심령 안에 있습니다. 육체의 건강도 심령 안에 있습니다! 충만한 삶은 심령 안에 있으므로 심령으로부터 사는 법을 배우십시오.

삶에서 더 중요한 영원한 것들은 모두 당신의 심령 안에 있습니다. 그러므로 안으로부터 바라보며 사십시오. 이사야 12:3은 “그러므로 너희가 기쁨으로 구원의 우물들에서 물을 길으리로다”라고 말씀합니다. 이 우물들이 어디에 있습니까? 바로 당신의 심령 깊은 곳에 있습니다!

복되신 주님, 저는 제 안으로부터 나오는 주님의 영의 빛과 인도를 따라 주님을 신뢰하면서 주님께서 예정하신 더 높은 차원의 삶을 삽니다. 저는 항상 승리하고, 거대한 진전을 이루며 진보하고 있습니다. 주님께서 저를 높이셨고, 주님의 영광과 번영 안에서 저의 길을 확립하셨기 때문입니다. 예수 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘.

SEE AND LIVE FROM YOUR HEART

For with the heart man believeth… (Romans 10:10).

Being born again, you received the life and nature of God into your heart, that is, your spirit. The eventual transformation and glory evident in your soul and body are the result of the impact and influence of the life and nature of God in your spirit. This is why God wants you to nurture and develop your spirit.

Your spirit is God’s temple; His dwelling place: that’s where the Kingdom of God is (Luke 17:20-21). No wonder we’re counselled to guard our hearts with all diligence: “Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life” (Proverbs 4:23). Everything you require for your life is in your heart. The house you’ll live in is in your heart; the money you require is in your heart; the health of your body is in your heart! Life in its fullness is in your heart; therefore, learn to live from your heart.

When you live from your heart, that is, from the inside out, you wouldn’t be bothered about the happenings outside; your experiences wouldn’t determine your response to situations. The economy of the world or of the country where you live may be in shambles, but you’re unmoved, because you’ve learnt how to enjoy your prosperity and turn it on from within you.

Learn to see from your heart. What you see with your heart is more real than what you see with your physical eyes. 2 Corinthians 4:18 says, “While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.” Seeing with your heart means envisioning and apprehending the realities of the Gospel and of our Kingdom-life with your spirit. The more important things of life—the eternal things—are all in your heart; therefore, look inwards, and live from there. Isaiah 12:3 says, “Therefore with joy shall ye draw water out of the wells of salvation”; where are these wells? They’re in the deep recesses of your heart!

PRAYER
Blessed Lord, in you I put my trust, living the higher life, which you preordained for me to live, following the light and guidance of your Spirit from within me. I’m making progress with giant strides, triumphing all the way, because you’ve set me on high, and established my path in glory, and prosperity, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
