절대 예수님에 대해 부끄러워하지 마십시오
Never Ashamed Of Him
“누구든지 이 음란하고 죄 많은 세대에서 나와 내 말을 부끄러워하면 인자도 아버지의 영광으로 거룩한 천사들과 함께 올 때에 그 사람을 부끄러워하리라”(막 8:38)
예수님과 그분의 교회와 동일시되는 것을 부끄러워하는 사람들이 있습니다. 얼마나 비극적인 일인지요! 주님과 당신의 하나됨은 가장 위대하고 숭고한 왕족의 정체성입니다. 이것을 매순간 기뻐하십시오. 예수 그리스도를 영화롭게 할 수 있는 모든 기회를 누리십시오. 그분을 향한 당신의 사랑을 크고 분명하게 표현하십시오.
당신이 예수 그리스도에게 속했고 믿음의 가족의 일원이라는 것을 세상과 당신의 친구들, 가족, 동료 등에게 알리기 부끄럽다면, 주님 역시 아버지와 천사들 앞에서 당신을 부끄러워하실 것입니다.
사람들이 그리스도와 기독교에 대해 어떤 인식을 가지고 있든지 당신은 가장 위엄 있고, 영광스럽고, 초월적인 연합 안에 있습니다. 당신은 하나님과 같은 종류의 연합체이며, 하나님을 운반하는 그릇이자 신성한 명령과 영원한 진리를 전달하는 자입니다.
예수 그리스도와 당신의 하나됨 그리고 그분과 그분의 왕국, 교회에 대한 당신의 진정한 헌신을 당당히 선포하십시오. 그 어떤 일이나 사람도 당신이 그리스도에게서 멀어지거나 그분에 대한 당신의 믿음을 부인하게 만들 수 없습니다. 대적의 극심한 위협이나 박해도 당신을 움츠리게 해서는 안 됩니다. 할렐루야!
고백
나는 그리스도를 영화롭게 하고 그분과 함께 하는 나의 정체성을 기뻐합니다. 나는 사람들 앞에서 자랑스럽게 주님을 고백하고 인정하며, 하나님의 성도들과 누리는 교제를 기뻐합니다. 주님과의 뗄 수 없는 하나됨은 내 인생의 가장 위대한 축복입니다. 나는 그리스도와 그분의 교회와 복음전파에 대한 나의 확고한 충성을 선언합니다. 할렐루야!

NEVER ASHAMED OF HIM
Whosoever therefore shall be ashamed of me and of my words in this adulterous and sinful generation; of him also shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he cometh in the glory of his Father with the holy angels (Mark 8:38).
There’re some people who are ashamed to be identified with Jesus and His Church; how tragic that is! Your oneness with the Lord is the greatest, most sublime and royal identity ever. Celebrate it at every opportunity. Seize every moment to glorify Jesus Christ. Let your love for Him be loud and unequivocal.
If you’re ashamed to let the world—your friends, family members, colleagues, etc.—know that you belong to Jesus Christ and are a member of the household of faith, the Master also will be ashamed to acknowledge you before the Father and the angels. Irrespective of anyone’s perception of Christ and of Christianity, you’re in the most dignified, honourable and transcendent union there is. You’re an associate of the God-kind, a God-carrying vessel, a bearer of the divine order and conveyor of eternal verities.
Be unapologetic in declaring your oneness with Jesus Christ and your unalloyed commitment to Him, His Kingdom, and the Church. Nothing, and no one, should ever make you distance yourself from Christ or repudiate your faith in Him. Even the fiercest threats or persecution from the adversary shouldn’t get you to cower. Hallelujah!
CONFESSION
I glorify Christ and celebrate my identity with Him. I proudly confess and acknowledge the Lord before men and rejoice in my association with God’s saints. My inextricable oneness with the Lord is the greatest blessing of my life; and I declare my unwavering allegiance to Christ, His Church and the spread of the Gospel, forever. Hallelujah!
