우리의 시대적 위치에 맞는 노래
SINGING ACCORDING TO OUR DISPENSATION
“내가 교회의 일꾼 된 것은 하나님이 너희를 위하여 내게 주신 직분을 따라 하나님의 말씀을 이루려 함이니라”(골 1:25)
저는 성경을 공부하며 하나님께서 우리를 절대 어떤 분야에서든 어둠 속에 두지 않으신다는 것을 깨닫게 되었습니다. 예를 들어, 우리가 부르는 노래들도 우리의 시대적인 위치에 따라 불러져야 하지만, 많은 사람들은 이를 깨닫지 못합니다. 우리의 찬양은 하나님의 시간표 안에서 우리의 시대적 위치와 맞아야 하고 그분과의 관계 안에서 우리의 위치와 일치해야 합니다.
이 내용을 이해하지 못한다면 당신은 아마 모든 찬양이 괜찮다고 생각할 수도 있습니다. 그러나 그것은 사실이 아닙니다. 사도 요한은 밧모 섬에 유배되어 있는 동안 성령의 계시를 통해 세 개의 집단에 대해 설명했습니다. 첫 번째 그룹은 요한계시록 5:8-9에서 찾아볼 수 있습니다. 이들은 네 가지 생물과 스물 넷 장로들입니다. 사도들은 스물 넷 장로 중 일부를 맡고 있으며, 이들은 교회를 대표합니다. 요한계시록 5:9에 나와있는 그들이 부른 노래의 가사를 읽어보십시오.

그들이 노래를 불렀지만 아무도 그들이 무슨 노래를 부르는지 알아차리거나 이해할 수 없었습니다. 왜 그렇습니까? 그들이 부른 노래가 네 가지 생물과 스물 넷 장로의 시대에 속하지 않았기 때문입니다.
마지막 세번째 그룹은 짐승(생물)을 이기고 승리한 환난의 성도들입니다. 그들은 예수 그리스도의 이름을 위하여 다 죽임을 당하였습니다. 이는 요한계시록 15장에 기록되어 있습니다. 하지만 이 환난의 성도들은 두 그룹으로 또 나뉘어 (유대인과 휴거 후 그리스도인이 된 자들) 두 노래를 불렀습니다. 그들은 모세의 노래와 어린양의 노래를 불렀습니다(계15:3-4을 읽어보십시오).
이것은 즉각적으로 예수 그리스도 교회에 대해 깨닫게 해줍니다. 바로 우리의 찬양이 우리의 계시와 위치에 일치해야 한다는 것입니다. 우리는 진정으로 하나님을 찬양하고 경배하는 노래를 불러야 합니다. 우리는 그리스도 안에 있는 우리가 누구인지와 일치하며 그분 안에 있는 우리의 통치권과 유업을 찬양하는 노래를 불러야 합니다(계 1:6, 계5:10). 할렐루야!

SINGING ACCORDING TO OUR DISPENSATION
“Whereof I am made a minister, according to the dispensation of God which is given to me for you, to fulfil the word of God;”(Colossians 1:25)
As I studied the Bible, I realized that God never left us in the dark about anything. For example, the songs we sing; they’re supposed to be according to dispensations but many don’t realize it. Our praise of God has to be according to our dispensation—where we live in God’s calendar—His prophetic timing, and where we are with God.
When you don’t understand this, you may think that every song is okay, but that’s not true. The Apostle John, while exiled on the island of Patmos, expounded on three different groups by the revelation of the Spirit. The first group is found in Revelations 5:8-9. These are four living creatures and the twenty-four elders. The apostles are part of the 24 elders, and they represent the church. Read the lyrics of their song in Revelation 5:9.
Then, we have the second group in Revelation 14:1-3. These are the 144,000 (about 12 thousand from each of the 12 tribes of Israel). The Bible says, “And they sung as it were a new song before the throne, and before the four beasts, and the elders: and no man could learn that song but the hundred and forty and four thousand, which were redeemed from the earth” (Revelation 14:3).
They sang the song, but nobody could capture or understand what they were singing. Why? It’s because the song didn’t belong to the dispensation of the four ‘beasts’ and twenty-four elders.
Lastly, the 3rd group—the tribulation saints—who got the victory over the beast were all slain for the Name of Jesus Christ. This is found in Revelation 15. But these tribulation saints who’re divided into two groups (the Jews, and those who became Christians after the Rapture) sang two songs. They sang the song of Moses, and they sang the song of the Lamb (read Revelation 15:3-4).
This immediately awakens an understanding in the Church of Jesus Christ that our singing has to be according to revelation and our dispensation. We have to sing songs that truly praise and worship God; songs that are consistent with who we are in Christ, our dominion and heritage in Him (Revelation 1:6; 5:10). Hallelujah!

Dear Father, thank you for choosing me to know and walk in the knowledge of your will in wisdom and spiritual understanding. I’m guided by the Holy Spirit to walk in your light and in your truth, today and always, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
