우리는 왕국을 받았습니다
We Have Received A Kingdom
“내 아버지께서 내게 맡기신 것 같이 나도 너희에게 한 왕국을 맡기어”(눅 22:29, 한글 흠정역)
주님께서 십자가에 달리시기 직전에 제자들에게 놀라운 말씀을 하셨습니다. 주님은 시련 속에서도 그들의 신실한 지지를 언급하시며 그들의 확고함을 인정하고 칭찬하셨습니다. 그런 이유로 주님은 29절에서 “내 아버지께서 내게 맡기신 것 같이 나도 너희에게 한 왕국을 맡긴다”고 말씀하셨습니다.
히브리서 12:28은 이 말씀의 깊이를 이해하는데 도움을 줍니다. “그러므로 우리가 흔들리지 않는 나라를 받았은즉 은혜를 받자 이로 말미암아 경건함과 두려움으로 하나님을 기쁘시게 섬길지니” 문맥을 주의 깊게 공부하지 않고 얼핏 보면 이 구절을 미래의 약속으로 이해할 수도 있습니다. 그러나 이 구절은 미래의 약속이 아닌 선포입니다.
현대 유대인 번역본으로 보면 이 구절이 선포라는 점이 더 와닿습니다. “그러므로 우리가 흔들리지 않는 왕국을 받았으니…” 우리는 흔들리지 않는 왕국을 받았습니다. 우리는 오늘, 이 시간에 왕국을 운영하고 있습니다. 우리는 지금 왕국 안에 살고 있으며 그 왕국의 권세, 능력, 통치권, 영향력을 행사합니다.
특별한 유업을 가지고 있는 왕국임에도 불구하고 많은 사람들이 이에 대해 잘 인식하지 못합니다. 당신이 이 세상에 있는 동안 실제로는 다른 운영 세계에 속해 있습니다. 그러므로 당신은 동시에 다른 두 세상에 살고 있지만, 오직 한 왕국 즉 하나님의 왕국에만 속해 있습니다.
그렇기 때문에 당신은 자신이 속한 하나님 왕국의 삶과 그 삶의 방식을 알고, 그것을 더 작은 세상인 이 자연적인 세상 위에 겹쳐 놓아야 합니다. 당신은 이 자연적인 세상에 왕국의 증인으로 보냄 받았습니다.
당신은 세상에 하나님의 왕국을 알리는 목소리이자 나타남이며 전달자입니다. 당신은 세상에 왕국의 실재를 알리고 세상 사람들이 하나님 왕국의 일부가 되도록 해야 합니다. 당신은 그들을 데려올 열쇠를 가지고 있습니다. 우리가 이런 일을 행하도록 일으켜지고, 권세를 받고, 위임받았다는 것이 얼마나 영광스러운 일입니까? 할렐루야!

사랑하는 아버지, 우리에게 왕국의 흔들리지 않는 권세와 영광을 주시니 감사합니다. 나는 이 진리의 실재 가운데 살며, 왕국의 충만한 축복과 특별한 유업 가운데 행합니다. 나는 왕국의 권세, 능력, 통치권, 영향력을 행사하며 승리 가운데 걸어갑니다. 예수 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘.

WE HAVE RECEIVED A KINGDOM
“And I confer on you a kingdom, just as my Father conferred one on me” (Luke 22:29 NIV).
A short while before the Lord’s crucifixion, He said something remarkable to His disciple. He acknowledged and commended them for their steadfastness, noting their faithful support during His trials. For that reason, in the 29th verse, He said, “…I confer on you a kingdom, just as my Father conferred one on me” (NIV).
Hebrews 12:28 further helps us understand the depth of this proclamation. It says, “Wherefore we receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear.” At first glance, if not studied with caution, and in context, one might perceive this as a future promise. But that’s not the case. It’s in the affirmative.
If you read it from the Contemporary Jewish Version (CJV), it conveys the sense of it being in the affirmative. It says, “Therefore since we have received an unshakable kingdom….” We have received an unshakable kingdom; in this day and in this hour of our lives, we’re operating a kingdom. We live in a kingdom right now, and we exercise the authority, power, dominion and influence of that kingdom.
It’s a kingdom with an extraordinary heritage but so many aren’t aware of this. While you’re in this world, you actually belong in another operational world; so, you’re living in two worlds at the same time, but you belong only to one of them, which is the Kingdom of God.
It’s the reason you must know the life and modus operandi of the Kingdom of God to which you belong and superimpose it on this natural world, which is the lesser world. You were sent to be a witness of the Kingdom to this natural world.
You’re the voice, the expression and the messenger of God’s Kingdom to the world. You’re to let the world know of the reality of the Kingdom, and get them to become a part of God’s Kingdom; you’re the one with the keys to bring them in. What an honour that we were raised, authorised and commissioned to make this happen. Hallelujah!
PRAYER
Dear Father, thank you for conferring on us a kingdom of unshakeable authority and glory. I live in the reality of this truth, and walk in the full blessings and extraordinary heritage of the Kingdom. I exercise the authority, power, dominion and influence of the Kingdom and walk on in victory, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
