예언하도록 영감을 받으십시오
BE INSPIRED TO PROPHESY
“하나님이 말씀하시기를 말세에 내가 내 영을 모든 육체에 부어 주리니 너희의 자녀들은 예언할 것이요 너희의 젊은이들은 환상을 보고 너희의 늙은이들은 꿈을 꾸리라”(행2:17)
모든 육체에 성령을 부어 주셨다는 것을 알 수 있는 첫 번째 반응 혹은 결과가 바로 남녀가 예언하는 것임을 알고 계셨습니까? 이는 기도에서 예언의 중요성을 보여줍니다. 당신이 기도 가운데 예언하기 전까지는 기도의 능력과 유익을 다 활용하지 못하고 있는 것입니다.
예언은 두 가지로 나뉩니다. 말씀을 선포하거나 미래에 대해 말하는 것입니다. 여기서 가장 핵심은 성령으로 충만한 상태입니다. 에베소서 5:18은 말합니다. “술 취하지 말라 이는 방탕한 것이니 오직 성령으로 충만함을 받으라.” 밑줄 친 부분은 지속적인 상태를 의미합니다. 더 정확한 번역은 “성령충만한 상태로 사십시오” 입니다.
이는 당신이 이따금씩이 아닌 항상 성령에 충만해야 한다는 뜻입니다. 이렇게 할 때 당신의 기도생활은 하나님의 말씀을 선포하고 미래를 말하는 예언들로 가득 찰 것입니다. 당신의 미래를 다른 사람들의 손에 맡기지 마십시오. 당신의 “아이온(세상)” 즉 인생의 경로를 예언으로 창조하십시오.
당신의 삶이 어떻게 흘러가느냐는 대부분 당신에게 달려 있습니다. 마찬가지로 예수 그리스도의 교회로서 우리가 속한 지역 사회에서 어떤 일이 벌어질 지 결정할 수 있는 책임이 우리에게 있음을 알아야 합니다. 이것이 우리의 기도가 반드시 예언으로 가득해야 하는 이유입니다. 우리가 함께 기도하기 위해 모일 때마다 나라와 도시들, 그리고 세상의 미래를 우리의 예언으로 결정하러 왔음을 기억해야 합니다. 할렐루야!

사랑하는 아버지, 아버지의 말씀을 내 마음과 입에 두어 미래를 조정할 수 있는 능력을 주셔서 감사합니다. 나는 성령님의 능력으로 앞으로 위로만 가며, 큰 전진을 이루고 있음을 선포합니다! 나는 모든 일에 있어서 날마다 강해집니다. 예수 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘.

BE INSPIRED TO PROPHESY
“And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy…”(Acts 2:17).
Did you notice that the first response or result of having the Spirit poured out upon all flesh is that men and women would prophesy? It shows the importance of prophecy in prayer. Until you find yourself prophesying in prayer, you haven’t utilized the power and benefits of prayer.
Prophecy is two-fold: we speak forth and we foretell. The key is being filled with the Spirit. The Bible says in Ephesians 5:18, “And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit.” The underlined expression connotes something that’s supposed to continue. The proper rendering is actually, “Be being filled with the Spirit.”
That means you should always be filled with the Spirit, not sometimes. If you’re that way, your prayer life will be enriched with prophecy where you speak forth God’s Word and you foretell the future. Don’t leave your future in the hands of others; create your “aion”—course of life—with prophecy.
As an individual, how your life goes depends a lot on you. Likewise, as the Church of Jesus Christ, we must also recognize that we have a responsibility to determine what happens in our communities. That’s why our prayers must be laden with prophecies. Whenever we come together to pray, we must know we’re coming together to determine the future of our cities, our nations, and our world through our prophetic utterances. Hallelujah!
PRAYER
Dear Father, I thank you for putting your Word in my heart and in my mouth, thus giving me the power to control my future. I declare that I’m moving forward by the power of the Holy Spirit, making progress with giant strides, and waxing stronger every day, in all things, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
