신성한 생명에 참여하고 나눠주는 자
Partakers And Dispensers Of Divine Life
“기록된 바 첫 사람 아담은 생령이 되었다 함과 같이 마지막 아담은 살려 주는(life-giving, 생명을 주는) 영이 되었나니”(고전 15:45)
베드로후서 1:4은 말합니다. “이로써 우리에게 지극히 크고 귀한 약속들을 주심은 너희로 하여금 이 약속들을 통해서 정욕으로 인해 세상에 있게 된 타락을 피하여 하나님의 본성에 동참하는 자가 되게 하려 하심이라”(한글킹제임스). 하나님의 본성에 동참한다는 것은 우리가 하나님과 같은 종류의 연합체라는 의미입니다. 우리는 신성을 가진 하나님과 같은 종류입니다. 그러나 그것이 다가 아닙니다!
하나님은 우리에게 그분의 생명을 받고 누릴 수 있는 놀라운 은혜를 주셨을 뿐 아니라, 우리를 그 생명을 나눠주는 자로 만드셨습니다. 주 예수님은 요한복음 10:10에서 이렇게 선포하셨습니다. “내가 온 것은 양으로 생명을 얻게 하고 더 풍성히 얻게 하려는 것이라.” 그분은 자신을 믿는 자들에게 영생을 주기 위해 오셨습니다. 오늘의 본문 구절에서 예수님이 생명을 주는 영으로 묘사된 것은 당연합니다.
거듭난 당신은 이제 그분과 하나입니다. 그분은 당신을 생명을 주는 영으로 만드셨습니다. 그분처럼 당신의 삶의 목적도 잃어버린 자들에게 복음을 통해 의의 생명을 주는 것입니다. 예수님은 요한복음 20:21에서 이렇게 말씀하셨습니다. “… 아버지께서 나를 보내신 것 같이 나도 너희를 보내노라.” 당신은 자신의 세상에서 하나님의 생명을 나타내기 위해 이 땅에서 그분을 대표합니다.
당신은 영원한 진리를 운반하는 자입니다. 당신이 나타나면 생명이 나타납니다. 당신이 아프고 고통받는 자를 만질 때, 당신 안에 있는 생명이 그들에게 옮겨지고 전달되어서 온전함과 완전함을 가져다 줍니다. 예수님은 마태복음 10:8에서 우리에게 이 일들을 맡기셨습니다. “병든 자를 고치며 죽은 자를 살리며 나병환자를 깨끗하게 하며 귀신을 쫓아내되.”
당신이 그분의 신성한 본질을 전달하는 자라는 인식을 가지고 사람들에게 나타나 말씀을 전할 때, 영생이 그들에게 밝혀집니다. 그리고 모든 어둠은 복종할 수밖에 없습니다. 성경은 그분이 복음을 통해 생명과 불멸을 밝히셨다고 말합니다(딤후 1:10). 할렐루야!
기도
사랑하는 아버지, 신성한 생명을 전달하고 나누는 자가 되며, 잃어버린 자들과 고통받는 자들을 복음을 통해 의와 기쁨의 생명 안으로 인도하는 일은 얼마나 놀라운 축복인지요! 당신의 사랑, 능력, 영광, 긍휼함, 은혜가 오늘 나를 통해 표현됩니다. 예수 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘.

PARTAKERS AND DISPENSERS OF DIVINE LIFE
For the scripture says, “The first man, Adam, was created a living being”; but the last Adam is the life-giving Spirit (1 Corinthians 15:45 GNB).
2Peter 1:4 says, “Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.” Being partakers of the divine nature means we’re associates of the God-kind; we’re in comradeship with divinity. But that’s not all!
Not only did He graciously grant us to be sharers of His life, He also made us the dispensers or distributors of that life. In John 10:10, the Lord Jesus declared, “…I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.” He came to give eternal life to those who would believe in Him. No wonder He’s described in our opening verse as the life-giving Spirit.
Now, having been born again, you’re one with Him; He made you a life-giving spirit. Like Him, your life’s purpose is to bring the lost into the life of righteousness through the Gospel. Jesus said in John 20:21, “…as my Father hath sent me, even so send I you.” You’re His representative in the earth, to manifest the God-life in your world.
You’re the bearer of eternal verities. When you show up, life is manifested. When you touch the sick and the afflicted, the life in you is transferred and transfused into them, bringing them wholeness and perfection. No wonder Jesus charged us in Matthew 10:8, “Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils….”
As you show up with the consciousness that you’re the carrier of His divine essence and people listen to you share the Word, eternal life is unveiled to them. And everything of darkness bows. The Bible says He brought life and immortality to light, through the Gospel (2 Timothy 1:10). Hallelujah!
PRAYER
Dear Father, what an awesome blessing to be a carrier and dispenser of the divine life and to bring the lost and afflicted into the life of righteousness and joy through the Gospel. Your love, power, glory, compassion and grace are expressed through me today, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
