성령님이 당신에게 필요한 모든 능력이십니다
He’s All The Power You Need
“오직 성령이 너희에게 임하시면 너희가 권능을 받고 예루살렘과 온 유대와 사마리아와 땅 끝까지 이르러 내 증인이 되리라 하시니라”(행 1:8)
어떤 사람들은 당신이 거듭난 후에 성령을 받은 다음 기름부음을 받는다고 가르칩니다. 그러나 그렇지 않습니다. 기름부음과 성령은 같이 옵니다. 신약 성경에서 우리는 모두 같은 성령과 같은 기름부음을 가지고 있습니다. 우리가 가진 기름부음이 곧 성령의 기름부음이기 때문입니다.
성경은 사도행전 10:38에서 다음과 같이 말씀합니다. “하나님이 나사렛 예수에게 성령과 능력을 기름 붓듯 하셨으매…” 그것은 오늘의 본문 구절에서 예수님께서 언급한 것과 같은 성령과 능력입니다. 이것은 예수님께서 가지셨던 것과 같은 능력과 성령으로 오늘날 우리도 가지고 있습니다. 그러므로 당신에게 성령님이 계시다면, 당신은 필요한 모든 능력이 있는 것입니다.
누가복음 1:35은 천사 가브리엘과 마리아의 대화를 보여줍니다. 천사는 마리아에게 “성령이 네게 임하시고 지극히 높으신 이의 능력이 너를 덮으시리니…”라고 말했습니다. 어떤 사람들은 이 대목을 읽고 성령이 먼저 당신에게 오신 다음 그분의 능력이나 기름부음이 온다고 이해합니다. 그러나 그렇지 않습니다. 두 경험은 다른 경험이 아닙니다. 마리아를 덮은 지극히 높으신 이의 능력은 그녀에게 임한 성령의 결과입니다.
구약 시대에는 성령님이 그들에게 “임하셨고(came upon)”, 신약 시대에는 성령님이 우리 안에 사십니다. 그래서 예수님께서 성령이 오시면 당신이 능력을 받을 것이라고 말씀하신 것입니다. 왜냐하면 성령님은 능력과 함께 오시기 때문입니다. 성령님이 곧 하나님의 권능(power)이십니다.
성령님이 함께하시면, 당신은 힘과 능력이 부족하지 않습니다. 그분은 당신의 능력입니다. 그분이 당신에게 필요한 전부이시며, 그분에게는 하나님의 목적을 이루고, 당신의 삶을 위한 하나님의 온전한 뜻 안에서 걷는데 필요한 모든 것이 있습니다.
기도
사랑하는 아버지, 성령님을 보내주셔서 제 안에 충만하게 살게 하심으로, 제가 아버지를 위해 살고 또한 저를 향한 영광스러운 운명을 성취할 수 있는 은혜와 능력을 주심을 감사드립니다. 저는 오늘 저의 세상을 변화시키도록 강력한 힘과 능력과 권능과 탁월함과 지혜로 힘을 얻습니다. 예수 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘.

HE’S ALL THE POWER YOU NEED
But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth (Acts 1:8).
Some people teach that after you’re born again, you receive the Holy Spirit, and then you receive the anointing; but it’s not so. The anointing comes with the Holy Spirit. In the New Testament, we all have the same Holy Spirit, and the same anointing, because the anointing we have is the anointing of the Holy Spirit.
The Bible says in Acts 10:38, “How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power…”; that’s the same Holy Spirit and power Jesus referred to in our opening verse. It’s the same power, and the same Holy Spirit that Jesus had that we also have today. So, when you have the Holy Spirit, you have all the power you need.
Luke 1:35 lets us into the dialogue between the angel Gabriel and Mary. The angel said to Mary, “… The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee….” Some have read this and ran off with the idea that the Spirit comes into you first, and then His power or anointing comes next, and they’re wrong. The two expressions point to the same thing. The power of the highest overshadowing her is as a result of the Holy Ghost coming upon her.
In the Old Testament, He “came upon” them; in the New Testament, He lives in us. That’s why Jesus said you shall receive power when the Holy Ghost comes, because the Holy Ghost comes with the power. He’s the power of God.
With the Holy Spirit, you don’t lack any power or ability; He’s your ability. He’s everything you need, and has everything you require to fulfil God’s purpose, and walk in His perfect will for your life.
PRAYER
Dear Father, thank you for the Holy Spirit who lives in me in His fulness, and has infused in me the grace and ability to live for you, and fulfil the glorious destiny you have for me. I’m invigorated with might, ability, power, excellence and wisdom to transform my world today, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
