Faith Doesn’t Require Physical Evidence

“믿음은 바라는 것들의 실상이요 보이지 않는 것들의 증거니”(히 11:1)

당신의 생일 날, 당신이 가장 좋아하는 부유하고 인심 좋은 삼촌으로부터 전화가 와서 생일선물로 차를 사주겠다는 말을 들었다고 가정해봅시다. 아직 차를 보지는 못했을지라도 당신은 삼촌의 말을 믿고 즉시 신날 것입니다. 그것이 믿음입니다. 믿음은 물리적 증거를 필요로 하지 않습니다.

당신이 믿고 기뻐하는 이유는 당신이 삼촌의 성품을 신뢰하기 때문입니다. 그렇지 않다면 당신은 삼촌이 한 말에 대해 의심을 표현할 것입니다. 마찬가지로 당신이 하나님의 말씀의 진실성에 근거하여 생각하고 말하고 행동한다면, 그것은 당신의 믿음을 표현하는 것이고 놀라운 결과를 얻게 될 것입니다.

어떤 사람은 하나님께서 자신의 치유와 번영과 회복에 대한 구체적인 말씀을 주셨지만, 아직 그 말씀이 이루어졌다는 증거를 보지 못했다고 한탄합니다. 사실 그의 말은 불신앙을 나타내고 있는 것입니다. 하나님의 말씀 외에 당신의 축복과 승리에 관한 증거가 또 있겠습니까?

하나님의 말씀에 완전히 설득되십시오. 하나님이 당신의 소유라고 말씀하신 것을 갖기 전에 어떠한 물리적 증거를 기다리지 마십시오. 당신의 믿음이 증거입니다. 믿음은 말씀에 의해 선포된 것을 사실로 인식하기 때문입니다.

고백

나의 믿음은 지금도 역사하고 있으며 승리합니다! 나는 하나님의 말씀에 내 삶을 고정시키고 말씀과 반대되는 환경이나 상황에 동요하기를 거절합니다. 내 믿음은 보이지 않는 실재들에 대한 권리증서이기 때문입니다. 나는 그리스도 안에 있는 나의 유업의 빛, 능력과 은혜, 신성한 건강, 초자연적인 번영 안에 삽니다. 나는 말씀 안에서, 말씀으로 살기 때문에 언제나 승리합니다. 아멘.

FAITH DOESN’T REQUIRE PHYSICAL EVIDENCE

Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen (Hebrews 11:1).

Assume it was your birthday, and your favourite uncle, rich and generous, called you on the phone to tell you he just bought you a car. You’d believe him and immediately get excited, even though you hadn’t seen the car. That’s faith; it doesn’t require physical evidence.

The reason you believe and rejoice is that you trust your uncle’s character; otherwise, you’d express doubt upon receiving the news. Similarly, when you think, talk and act based on the integrity of God’s Word, you’re expressing faith, and you’re bound to have extraordinary results.

Someone once lamented how God gave him a specific word about his healing, prosperity and restoration, yet he claimed he didn’t see evidence that the Word came to pass in his life. His language actually manifested unbelief. What other evidence is there concerning your blessings and triumphant life besides the Word of God?

Become fully persuaded by the Word of God. Don’t wait for any physical manifestation before you take what God says is yours. Accept His Word and live accordingly. Your faith is the manifestation, for faith perceives as fact that which has been declared by the Word.

CONFESSION

My faith is active and prevails even now! I anchor my life on God’s Word, and refuse to be swayed by contrary winds or circumstances, for my faith is the title-deed to unseen realities. I walk in the light of my inheritance in Christ, in power and grace, living in divine health and supernatural prosperity. I’m victorious evermore, because I live in and by the Word. Amen.
