말의 힘

“믿음으로 모든 세계가 하나님의 말씀으로 지어진 줄을 우리가 아나니…”(히11:3)
창세기 1장은 하나님께서 어떻게 만물을 창조하셨는지 보여줍니다. 하나님은 말씀으로 창조하셨습니다. 그분은 말씀하셨고, 모든 것이 말씀하신 대로 나타났습니다. 이는 말이 음파 곧 에너지를 창조하기 때문입니다. 이것이 바로 말씀 묵상이 중요한 이유 중 하나입니다.
묵상에는 세 번의 단계 혹은 수준이 있습니다. 1단계는 당신이 낮은 목소리로 읊조리는 것입니다. 다음 2단계는 대화하듯 말하거나 중얼거리는 것입니다. 3단계이자 마지막 단계는 소리치거나 포효하는 것입니다. 즉, 소리로 말하는 것입니다. 이 마지막 단계는 매우 중요합니다. 말과 소리에는 힘과 에너지가 있기 때문입니다.
그러므로 당신이 말씀구절을 읽을 때 자주 소리 내어 읽어야 합니다. 말씀의 실재에 있는 기도와 고백을 큰 소리로 읽으십시오. 말씀에 대한 당신의 확신은 굉장히 중요합니다. 하나님께서는 우리가 말할 수 있도록 혀를 주셨습니다. 우리가 말할 때 에너지가 풀어집니다.
말의 힘으로 하나님은 혼돈의 덩어리였던 세상을 재창조하시고 질서를 세우셨습니다(창1장). 에베소서 5:1은 우리에게 하나님을 사랑하는 자녀로서 그분을 본받으라고 말합니다. 하나님께서 창세기 1장에서 하신 일은 우리가 본받아 할 수 있는 일입니다.
당신은 말로 삶의 아름다움과 영광을 유지하고 하나님의 뜻에 따라 환경과 상황들을 변화시킵니다. 당신의 말로 승리와 성공의 길을 향해 나아갈 수 있습니다.
예수님께서는 당신이 말한 것을 갖게 될 것이라 말씀하셨습니다(막 11:23). 그러므로 조용히 있지 마십시오. 당신이 고백해야 하는 이유가 있습니다. 심지어 구원의 원리도 고백의 중요성을 강조합니다. 성경은 말합니다. “…사람이 마음으로 믿어 의에 이르고 입으로 시인하여 구원에 이르느니라”(롬10:10) 고백은 ‘하나님과 일치하여 그분이 말씀하신 것을 그대로 말하는 것’을 의미합니다. 고백은 그리스어 ‘호몰로게오(Homologeo)’에서 비롯되었으며, 주로 다른 사람과 동의하여 같은 것을 말하는 것을 의미합니다. 이것이 하나님의 말씀이 당신의 삶에서 효력을 갖게 합니다.
하나님의 말씀을 마음으로 “믿는” 것만으로는 충분하지 않습니다. 말씀 안에 있는 축복들을 경험하기 위해서 입으로 그 말씀을 선포해야 합니다. 성경은 그리스도가 당신의 생명이라고 말합니다. 그리스도는 당신의 지혜입니다. 그리스도는 당신의 의이시고, 당신 안에 계신 그리스도는 영광의 소망이십니다. 오늘 그리스도에 관한 이 진리를 묵상하고 큰 소리로 자주 고백하십시오.
기도
사랑하는 아버지, 말의 은사와 능력에 감사드립니다. 아버지의 말씀을 선포할 때, 당신의 빛이 나타나고 내 길에 있는 모든 어둠은 사라집니다. 내 삶은 아름답고 훌륭하며 영광으로 가득합니다. 나는 건강과 능력 가운데 걷고 살며, 하는 모든 일에서 번영하고, 계속 증가하며, 생산적인 삶을 삽니다. 예수 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘.

THE POWER OF SPEECH
“Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God…”(Hebrews 11:3).
Genesis chapter one shows us how God created all things; it was through words. He spoke, and everything He said, became. That’s because speech (words) create sound waves—energy. This is one reason that meditating on the Word is so important.
Meditation has three phases or levels. Level one is when you speak under your voice. Then in the second level, you’re literally talking or muttering. The third and final level is when you shout or roar; you’re talking aloud. This final phase is so important because of the power of sound or energy of words.
This is why when you read scriptures, you should oftentimes read them aloud. Read your Rhapsody of Realities aloud, including the prayers and confessions. Your affirmation of the Word is so important. God gave us a tongue so we could talk, and when you talk, energy is released.
Through the energy of words, God recreated and brought order to the world, which hitherto was a chaotic mass (Genesis 1). Ephesians 5:1 tells us to emulate Him as His beloved children. What God did in Genesis 1 was for us to emulate.
With words, you’re to maintain the beauty and glory of your life, and change circumstances and situations in line with God’s will. By your words, you can chart your course in victory and success.
Jesus said you shall have what you say (Mark 11:23); so don’t keep quiet. There’s a reason for speaking. Even the very principle of salvation stresses the importance of speaking. It says, “…For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation” (Romans 10:10). Confession here, means ‘saying what God has said in agreement with Him.’ It’s translated from the Greek word ‘Homologeo’—which primarily means to say the same thing as another in agreement. That’s what makes His Word effectual in your life.
It is not enough to “believe” the Word of God with your heart, you have to declare it with your mouth to experience the blessings therein. The Bible says Christ is your life. Christ is your wisdom. Christ is your righteousness. Christ in you, the hope of glory. For the rest of today, meditate on these truths about Christ, saying them aloud every so often.
PRAYER
Dear Father, I thank you for the gift and power of speech. As I speak forth your Word, your light manifests and obliterates every form of darkness in my path. My life is beautiful, excellent and full of glory. I walk in health and strength, prospering in all that I do, ever-increasing and ever-productive, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
