Plan Your Offerings
“각각 그 마음에 정한 대로 할 것이요 인색함으로나 억지로 하지 말지니 하나님은 즐겨 내는 자를 사랑하시느니라”(고후 9:7)
하나님께 드리는 일은 언제나 기쁨이어야 합니다. 그리고 우리는 행함으로 복을 받습니다. 그럼에도 불구하고, 우리가 하나님의 말씀을 따라 행할 때 더 위대한 결과를 얻을 수 있습니다.
주님께 드리는 헌금을 계획하는 것은 큰 의미를 가지고 있습니다. 그분이 하나님이시라는 것을 기억하십시오. 그분은 인간이 아니십니다. 당신이 그분께 드리는 것은 거룩합니다. 이는 신성한 것이며, 신중하게 고려해야 합니다. 당신이 의도를 가지고 해야 하는 일입니다.
당신이 하나님께 드리는 헌금은 “일반적인” 기부가 아닙니다. 이는 예배의 행위입니다. 당신이 하나님께 드릴 때, “나는 당신께서 하나님이심을 알고 나의 주님으로 당신을 경배합니다.”라고 말하는 것입니다.
어떤 사람들은 하나님께 헌금을 드리는 것이 당신에게 “남는 것” 혹은 실제로 필요하지 않는 것을 드리는 것으로 오해합니다. 그러한 접근 방식은 재정적인 불안정과 어려움을 초래할 수 있습니다. 헌금을 계획하고 헌금의 거룩함과 신성함을 인식하십시오.
사도 바울은 우리에게 말합니다. “나는 여러분 각자가 충분한 시간을 두고 생각한 다음 얼마를 낼 것인가 작정하기를 바랍니다…”(고후 9:7, 메시지 성경) 당신이 드리는 헌금의 영적인 의미를 인식하여 그와 관련된 하나님의 충만한 축복을 경험할 수 있습니다.
헌금을 반대하거나 헌금을 중요성을 경시하는 사람들의 말에 흔들리거나 영향받지 마십시오. 대신 말씀에 집중하십시오. 예수님께서는 누가복음 6:38에서 “주라 그리하면 너희에게 줄 것이니 곧 후히 되어 누르고 흔들어 넘치도록 하여 너희에게 안겨 주리라…”고 말씀하셨습니다.

PLAN YOUR OFFERINGS
“Let each one [give] as he has made up his own mind and purposed in his heart, not reluctantly or sorrowfully or under compulsion…” (2 Corinthians 9:7 AMPC).
Giving to God should always be a joy, and we’re blessed for doing it. Nonetheless, we can have greater results by doing it according to His Word.
There’s a great significance to planning the offerings that you give to the Lord. Remember, He is God; He’s not a man. Your offering to Him is holy, it’s a sanctified thing and it deserves careful consideration; it’s something you have to be intentional about.
Your offering to God is not a “casual” giving; it’s something you do as an act of worship. When you give your offerings to God, you’re saying to Him, “I recognize that you are God, and I worship you as my Lord.”
Some have the misconception that giving offerings to God involves giving away your “excess” or what you don’t really need. Such an approach can lead to financial instability and challenges down the line. Plan your giving, and recognise the holiness and sanctity of your offerings.
The Apostle Paul tells us, “I want each of you to take plenty of time to think it over, and make up your own mind what you will give…” (2 Corinthians 9:7 MSG). Recognize the spiritual significance of your offerings so you can experience the fullness of God’s blessings associated with it.
Don’t be swayed by arguments against giving or influenced by those who downplay its significance. Instead, pay attention to the Word. Jesus said in Luke 6:38, “Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom….”
Prayerfully plan what you will be giving as your offerings which, by the way, are different from your tithes and firstfruits or special seeds. This is an integral part of your financial stewardship. Plan your offerings and give them joyfully, knowing that “God loves, takes pleasure in, prizes above other things, and is unwilling to abandon or to do without a cheerful, joyous, “prompt to do it” giver whose heart is in his giving” (2 Corinthians 9:7 AMPC).
This is the way to position yourself to walk in God’s superabundant blessings in every aspect of your life. Praise God!
PRAYER
Dear Father, I thank you for the privilege and blessings of giving my offerings; I’m taking actions to do it consistently, reverently and joyfully with the wisdom of God. Therefore, I walk in abundant blessings, bearing increased fruits of righteousness, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
