You’re God’s Property

“너희 몸은 너희가 하나님께로부터 받은 바 너희 가운데 계신 성령의 전인 줄을 알지 못하느냐 너희는 너희 자신의 것이 아니라 값으로 산 것이 되었으니 그런즉 너희 몸으로 하나님께 영광을 돌리라”(고전 6:19-20)

성경은 당신이 값을 주고 산 사람이라고 말합니다. 이는 당신이 하나님의 보물, 하나님의 소유라는 뜻입니다. 얼마나 대단한 일입니까. 베드로전서 1:18-19은 말합니다. “너희가 알거니와 너희 조상이 물려 준 헛된 행실에서 대속함을 받은 것은 은이나 금 같이 없어질 것으로 된 것이 아니요 오직 흠 없고 점 없는 어린 양 같은 그리스도의 보배로운 피로 된 것이니라”

당신의 가치는 주 예수님의 보혈입니다. 하나님께서 당신의 구원을 위해 지불하신 값이기 때문입니다. 항상 이 사실을 기억하십시오. 당신의 영과 혼과 몸은 하나님께 속했습니다. 사탄과 그의 어둠의 무리는 당신에게 접근권이 없습니다. 사탄은 당신의 삶과 몸에 상관할 바가 없습니다. 당신은 법적으로 그리스도께 속했기 때문입니다.

이제 당신은 거듭났으므로 사탄의 통치권이나 관할권 훨씬 위에 있습니다. “우리로 하여금 빛 가운데서 성도의 기업의 부분을 얻기에 합당하게 하신 아버지께 감사하게 하시기를 원하노라 그가 우리를 흑암의 권세에서 건져내사 그의 사랑의 아들의 나라로 옮기셨으니 그 아들 안에서 우리가 속량 곧 죄 사함을 얻었도다”(골 1:12-14)

또한, 당신은 하나님의 소유이기 때문에 하나님께서 당신의 삶을 영광과 탁월함에 이르도록 빚으십니다. “우리는 하나님께서 [직접] 손수 만드신 작품(그분의 솜씨)이며, [하나님께서 미리 준비해 놓으신 길을 따라] 그분께서 우리를 위해 예정하신 (사전에 계획하신) 선한 일을 하고, 그 안에서 [그분께서 우리가 미리 계획하시고 준비하신 좋은 삶을 살며] 행하도록 그리스도 예수 안에서 재창조된 [거듭 난] 자입니다.”(엡 2:10, 확대번역본)

사탄은 당신의 생명에 대해 무엇도 주장할 수 없습니다. 당신은 위대하고 전능하신 하나님의 보호를 받기 때문에 “건드릴 수 없는” 존재입니다! 골로새서 3:3-4은 그리스도께서 당신의 생명이시며, 당신의 생명은 그리스도와 함께 하나님 안에 감추어졌다고 말합니다. 이제 당신은 “너희를 해칠 자가 결코 없으리라”(눅 10:19), “너를 치려고 제조된 모든 연장이 쓸모가 없을 것이라”(사 54:17)는 말을 이해할 수 있을 것입니다. 할렐루야!

매일 이러한 의식을 가지고 원수와 모든 역경에 대한 완전한 통치권 가운데 사십시오.

기도

사랑하는 아버지, 아버지께서 값 주고 사신 특별한 보물이 되는 영광과 축복에 감사드립니다. 내 영과 혼과 몸이 아버지께 속했다는 보장에 감사드립니다. 사탄은 내 삶에 대해 어떤 것도 주장할 수 없습니다. 나는 영광과 탁월함을 위해 보호되고 빚어집니다. 그리고 나는 하나님께서 준비하신 내 길을 걸으며 나를 위해 미리 계획하시고 예정하신 좋은 인생을 삽니다. 내가 그리스도 안에 가지고 있는 통치권과 승리에 감사드립니다. 예수 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘.

YOU’RE GOD’S PROPERTY

“What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God’s” (1 Corinthians 6:19-20).

The Bible says you were bought with a price; that means you’re God’s treasure, His property. How amazing this is. 1 Peter 1:18-19 says, “Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers; But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot.”

Your value is the precious blood of the Lord Jesus, because that’s the price God paid for your salvation; always remember that. Your spirit, soul and body belong to God; that means no trespass for Satan and his cohorts of darkness. Satan has no business in your life and in the quarters of your body because you legally belong to Christ.

Now that you’re born again, you’re far above Satan’s domain or jurisdiction: “giving thanks to the Father for having made you fit to share in the inheritance of his people in the light. He has rescued us from the domain of darkness and transferred us into the Kingdom of his dear Son. It is through his Son that we have redemption – that is, our sins have been forgiven” (Colossians 1:12-14 CJB).

Moreover, because you’re God’s property, He’s fashioned your life for glory and excellence: “For we are God’s [own] handiwork (His workmanship), recreated in Christ Jesus, [born anew] that we may do those good works which God predestined (planned beforehand) for us [taking paths which He prepared ahead of time], that we should walk in them [living the good life which He prearranged and made ready for us to live]” (Ephesians 2:10 AMPC).

Satan has no claim over your life. You’re “untouchable” because you’re protected by the great and mighty God! Colossians 3:3-4 says Christ is your life and your life is hidden with Christ in God. Now you can understand why He says, “Nothing shall by any means hurt you” (Luke 10:19); “No weapon fashioned against you shall prosper” (Isaiah 54:17). Hallelujah!

Have this consciousness and live in absolute dominion over the adversary and all adversities every day.

PRAYER

Dear Father, thank you for the honour and blessing of being your purchased, peculiar treasure. I’m grateful for the assurance that my spirit, soul, and body belong to you, and that Satan has no claim over my life. I am protected and fashioned for glory and excellence, and I walk in the paths you’ve prepared for me, living the good life you prearranged and made ready for me to live. Thank you for the dominion and victory I have in Christ, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
