You In Christ And Christ In You
“내가 그리스도와 함께 십자가에 못 박혔나니 그런즉 이제는 내가 사는 것이 아니요 오직 내 안에 그리스도께서 사시는 것이라 이제 내가 육체 가운데 사는 것은 나를 사랑하사 나를 위하여 자기 자신을 버리신 하나님의 아들을 믿는 믿음 안에서 사는 것이라”(갈 2:20)
고린도후서 5:17에서 사도 바울은 새로운 피조물과 구원에 대한 심오한 진리를 말합니다. “그런즉 누구든지 그리스도 안에 있으면 새로운 피조물이라 이전 것은 지나갔으니 보라 새 것이 되었도다” 그가 “…누구든지 그리스도 안에 있으면…” 이라고 말한 것에 주목하십시오. 구원은 그리스도 안에 있는 당신입니다!
우리는 또 다른 진리를 골로새서 1:26-27에서 볼 수 있습니다. 사도 바울은 기독교의 본질을 다음과 같이 아름답게 요약해서 말합니다. “이 비밀은 만세와 만대로부터 감추어졌던 것인데 이제는 그의 성도들에게 나타났고 하나님이 그들로 하여금 이 비밀의 영광이 이방인 가운데 얼마나 풍성한지를 알게 하려 하심이라 이 비밀은 너희 안에 계신 그리스도시니 곧 영광의 소망이니라”
이제 구원은 그리스도 안에 있는 당신이며 기독교는 당신 안에 있는 그리스도입니다. 기독교는 당신 안에 거하시는 그리스도입니다. 당신 안에 나타나신 그리스도이자 날마다 당신 안에서 사시고 나타나시는 그리스도입니다. 바로 그것이 기독교입니다. 바울이 에베소서 5:30에서 다음과 같은 심오한 내용을 말한 것은 놀라운 일이 아닙니다. “우리는 그 몸의 지체임이라” 이 강력한 그림은 우리가 그리스도와 맺고 있는 떼어낼 수 없는 연합을 강화시켜 줍니다.
고린도전서 6:15은 말합니다. “너희 몸이 그리스도의 지체인 줄을 알지 못하느냐 내가 그리스도의 지체를 가지고 창녀의 지체를 만들겠느냐 결코 그럴 수 없느니라” 당신의 손, 발, 목소리는 모두 그분의 임재와 능력으로 가득 차 있습니다. 당신이 말할 때, 그리스도께서 당신을 통해 말씀하시는 것입니다. 당신이 다른 사람들에게 사역할 때, 그리스도께서 당신을 통해 그들에게 사역하시는 것입니다.
주님은 “너희 말을 듣는 자는 곧 내 말을 듣는 것이요”(눅 10:16) 라고 선포하셨습니다. 이는 우리 안의 그리스도에 대한 심오한 실재입니다. 따라서 당신이 이 진리를 안다면 담대하게 “내 모든 존재, 내 몸의 뼈, 내 피의 세포, 머리부터 발끝까지 하나님의 생명으로 가득 차 있습니다.” 라고 선포할 수 있습니다.
당신은 하나님의 영광의 화신입니다. 당신이 가는 곳마다 그분의 임재를 지니고 그분의 영광을 나타냅니다. 당신은 신성한 진리의 전달자가 되는 특권을 가지고 있습니다.
기도
사랑하는 아버지, 내 안에 그리스도의 충만함을 지니고 있는 축복에 감사드립니다. 나는 아버지의 영광을 인식하는 가운데 살며, 아버지의 임재가 나를 통해 빛나고, 다른 사람을 축복하고 아버지의 이름을 영광스럽게 합니다. 예수 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘.

YOU IN CHRIST AND CHRIST IN YOU
“I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me” (Galatians 2:20).
In 2 Corinthians 5:17, the apostle Paul articulates a profound truth about the new creation and salvation. It says, “Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.” Observe he says, “…if any man be in Christ…”; salvation is you in Christ!
We see another truth in Colossians 1:26-27. There, he beautifully encapsulates the very essence of Christianity: “Even the mystery which hath been hid from ages and from generations, but now is made manifest to his saints: To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory:”
Now, while salvation is you in Christ, Christianity is Christ in you. Christianity is Christ dwelling in you; Christ manifested in you, Christ alive and manifested in you every day. That’s Christianity. No wonder in Ephesians 5:30, Paul tells us something so profound: “For we are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones.” This powerful imagery reinforces the inextricable union we have with Christ.
1 Corinthians 6:15 says, “Do you not know that your bodies are the members of Christ?” In other words, your limbs are the limbs of Christ. Your hands, feet, and voice are all imbued with His presence and power. When you speak, it’s Christ speaking through you. When you minister to others, it’s Christ ministering to them through you.
The Master Himself declared, “He that heareth you heareth me” (Luke 10:16). This is the profound reality of Christ in us. Therefore, knowing this truth, you can boldly proclaim, “Every fibre of my being, every bone of my body, every cell of my blood, from the crown of my head to the soles of my feet, is all fully inundated with the life of God.”
You’re the embodiment of God’s glory; everywhere you go, you carry His presence and manifest His glory. You have the privilege of being the conduit of divine verities.
PRAYER
Dear Father, thank you for the blessing of having the fullness of Christ in me. I live in the consciousness of your glory, and your presence shines through me, blessing others and glorifying your Name, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
