귀신들을 다스리는 통치권
Dominion Over Devils
“믿는 자들에게는 이런 표적이 따르리니 곧 그들이 내 이름으로 귀신을 쫓아내며…”(막 16:17)
귀신들을 쫓아내기 위해 특별한 기름부음이나 은사를 받은 그리스도인은 없습니다. 예수님이 말씀하셨습니다. “믿는 자들에게는 이런 표적이 따르리니 곧 그들이 내 이름으로 귀신을 쫓아내며…”(막 16:17) 당신이 귀신들을 쫓아낼 수 있기 위해 필요한 유일한 자격은 믿는 자 곧 그리스도인이 되는 것뿐입니다. 1분 전에 거듭난 사람을 비롯해서 모든 그리스도인에게는 귀신들을 쫓아낼 권세가 있습니다.
누군가는 이렇게 물을지도 모릅니다. “어떻게 그럴 수 있죠? 귀신을 쫓아내기 전에 자신을 준비하고 강력하게 기도할 필요도 없다고요?” 그렇습니다! 예수님께서 우리에게 마귀에 대해 기도하라고 요구하지도 않으셨습니다. 그분은 “귀신을 쫓아내라”고 말씀하셨습니다. 당신은 하나님께 마귀에 대해 무언가를 하시라고 말해서는 안 됩니다. 그분은 마귀와 어둠의 귀신들에 대해 해야 할 모든 일을 이미 하셨고 당신에게 그들을 다스릴 권세를 주셨기 때문입니다.
마가복음 6:7은 말씀합니다. “[예수님께서] 열두 제자를 부르사…더러운 귀신을 제어하는 권능을 주시고” 여기에서 “권능”으로 번역된 헬라어는 “엑수시아(exousia)”인데, 그 의미는 “권세(authority)”입니다. 예수님은 우리에게 더러운 귀신(영)을 다스릴 권세를 주셨습니다. 그분이 지옥에 있는 존재들에게 하신 일을 읽어보십시오. “…정사와 권세를 무장 해제시키신 다음, 그들을 공개적인 구경거리로 삼으시고 승리를 구가하셨다.”(골 2:13-15, NJKV) 예수님은 사탄과 그의 무리들을 무능력하고 무기력하며 쓸모없게 만드셨습니다. 그게 어떻다는 말입니까? 예수님이 그 일을 하셨을 당시 당신은 그분 안에 있었습니다.
누가복음 10:19에서 예수님은 말씀하셨습니다. “내가 너희에게 뱀과 전갈을 밟으며 원수의 모든 능력을 제어할 권능(권세)을 주었으니 너희를 해칠 자가 결코 없으리라” 당신에게는 사탄과 그의 무리를 통제하고 길들이며 점검할 권세가 있습니다. 그 권세는 완전하고 절대적입니다. 어떤 귀신도 맞설 수 없습니다.
우리가 오늘의 본문구절에서 읽은 것을 떠올려보십시오. “믿는 자들에게는 이런 표적이 따르리니 곧 그들이 내 이름으로 귀신을 쫓아내며…” 이는 영의 영역의 법칙입니다. 당신이 예수 이름으로 귀신에게 나가라고 요구하는 것은 마치 예수님께서 친히 말하는 것과 같습니다. 예수 이름의 권세 안에서 사십시오. 마귀가 당신의 환경에서 날뛰지 못하게 하십시오. 할렐루야!
기도
사랑하는 아버지, 예수님이 저를 대신해서 행하신 마귀와 어둠의 전체 무리에 대해 거두신 승리로 인해 감사드립니다. 지금 저는 예수 그리스도의 승리와 권세 가운데 살고 있습니다. 사탄과 그의 무리들은 제 성공에 문제가 되지 않습니다. 저는 날마다 그리스도 안에서 승리하며 살고 있습니다. 예수 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘.

DOMINION OVER DEVILS
And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils… (Mark 16:17).
There’re no Christians specially anointed or gifted to cast out demons. Jesus said, “…these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils…” (Mark 16:17). The only qualification needed for you to be able to cast out devils is to be a believing one; it’s to be in Christ. Every Christian has authority to cast out devils, including the one that just got born again minutes ago. Someone might say, “How can that be? Don’t we need to prepare ourselves and pray ‘powerful prayers’ before we can cast out devils?” No! Jesus didn’t even ask us to pray about the devil. He said, “Cast him out!” You never need to tell God to do anything about the devil, because He already did everything He needed to do about the devil, and demons of darkness, and gave you authority over them.In Mark 6:7, the Bible says, “And he (Jesus) called unto him the twelve, and…gave them power over unclean spirits.” The Greek word for “power” is “exousia,” and it means “authority.” Jesus gave us authority over unclean spirits. Read what He did to them in hell: “Having disarmed principalities and powers, He made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them in it” (Colossians 2:15 NKJV). Jesus rendered Satan and his cohorts incapacitated; powerless and useless. But guess what? When He did it, you were in Him. In Luke 10:19, He said, “Behold, I give unto you power (authority), to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power (ability) of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.” You have the authority to control and tame Satan and his cohorts; to put them in check; and that authority is perfect and absolute. No demon can resist it. Remember what we read in our opening verse, “And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils…”; it’s a law in the realm of the spirit. When you ask a demon to come out in the Name of Jesus, it’s as though Jesus Himself were speaking. Live in the authority of His Name. Refuse to allow the devil run rampage in your environment.
Prayer
Dear Father, I thank you for the victory of Jesus over the devil and the entire host of darkness, which He wrought on my behalf. Now, I live in the victory and authority of Jesus Christ; Satan and his cohorts are no factors for my success. I live triumphantly in Christ, every day, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
