평안의 삶
A Life Of Peace
“육신의 생각은 사망이요 영의 생각은 생명과 평안이니라”(롬8:6)
성경을 정말 사랑할 수밖에 없지 않습니까? 방금 읽은 오늘의 본문 구절을 생각해보십시오. 성경은 당신이 육신적인 생각을 하면 사망에 이른다고 말합니다. 그러나 당신이 영적인 생각을 하면 생명과 평안을 얻을 수 있습니다. 매우 단순하지만 아주 심오한 구절입니다!
그러므로 당신의 삶을 점검하십시오. 불안 속에 살고 있습니까? 삶에 평안이 없습니까? 사람들이 당황하고, 동요하고, 분하고, 불안하고, 혼란스러운 것은 그들이 영적인 생각을 하지 않기 때문입니다. 말씀은 명확합니다. 당신이 영적으로 생각한다면 생명과 평안을 가지게 될 것입니다.
영적으로 생각하거나 육신적으로 생각하는 것은 당신 마음의 일에 관한 것입니다. 즉 당신의 마음이 어디에 집중하고 있는지에 관한 것입니다. 육신적인 생각을 하는 사람들은 오직 이 세상의 것들에 반응합니다. 그들은 육신의 지배를 받습니다. 당신의 초점은 항상 하나님의 말씀과 왕국의 영원한 실재에 있어야 합니다. 그렇게 살 때 문제와 혼돈 속에서도 당신은 언제나 평안하며 불안 없는 삶을 가지게 될 것입니다!
이사야서 26:3은 하나님께서 그분께 마음이 집중된 자를 온전한 평강, 곧 넘치는 평강 중에 지키시리라고 말합니다. “주께서 심지가 견고한 자를 평강하고 평강하도록 지키시리니 이는 그가 주를 신뢰함이니이다.”
고백
나는 항상 말씀대로 행합니다. 그러므로 나는 안으로부터 형언할 수 없는 평안을 경험합니다. 나는 폭풍 속에서도 평안합니다. 그리스도가 나의 전부이시므로 나는 걱정 없이 삽니다! 그분 안에서 나는 자급자족하고, 모든 것을 할 수 있으며, 승리의 삶을 위해 초자연적으로 공급되고 강화됩니다! 하나님을 송축합니다!

A Life Of Peace
“For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace”(Romans 8:6).
Don’t you just love the Scriptures? Think about what we just read: it says, if you’re carnally minded, it’ll lead to death. But if you’re spiritually minded, you’ll have life and peace. Simple scripture; but absolutely profound!
So check your life; are you living in agitation? Is your life void of peace? When people are flustered, agitated, distraught, disturbed and confused, it’s because they’re not being spiritually minded. The Word is clear: when you’re spiritually minded, you’ll have life and peace.
Being spiritually minded or carnally minded is about the work of your mind; where you focus the attention of your mind. Carnally-minded people only respond to the things of this world; they’re flesh-ruled. Your focus, at all times, should be on God’s Word and the eternal realities of the Kingdom. That way, in the midst of troubles and chaos, you’d always have peace; a life without agitations!
Isaiah 26:3 says God keeps in perfect peace—in the peace of prosperity—the one whose mind is focused on Him: “Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.”
CONFESSION
I do what the word says always; therefore, I experience such indescribable peace from within; I’m at peace in the midst of the storms. I live worry-free because Christ is my all! In Him, I’m self-sufficient, enabled to do all things, and supernaturally supplied and fortified for the triumphant life! Blessed be God!
