Christ Our Life
“우리 생명이신 그리스도께서 나타나실 그 때에 너희도 그와 함께 영광 중에 나타나리라”(골 3:4)
로마서 8:11은 이렇게 선포합니다. “예수를 죽은 자 가운데서 살리신 이의 영이 너희 안에 거하시면 그리스도 예수를 죽은 자 가운데서 살리신 이가 너희 안에 거하시는 그의 영으로 말미암아 너희 죽을 몸도 살리시리라.” 인간의 육체의 생명은 피에 있지만(레 17:11), 거듭난 사람의 몸은 성령에 의해 살아 있습니다. 그러므로 당신의 생명은 성령으로부터 온 것입니다. 당신의 육신 안에 계신 성령의 임재의 영향으로 나타나는 결과가 있습니다.
예수님은 “믿는 자들에게는 이런 표적이 따르리니…무슨 독을 마실지라도 해를 받지 아니하며…”(막 16:17-18)라고 말씀하셨습니다. 왜 그렇습니까? 우리는 피로 인해 사는 것이 아니기 때문입니다. 우리는 성령으로 힘입어 삽니다! 그리스도인이 아픈 것은 우리의 진정한 본성과 정체성에 맞지 않습니다. 두통을 느끼는 것이 두통이 “있다”는 뜻은 아닙니다. 그러나 많은 사람들이 제대로 배우지 못해서 두통이 느껴지는 대로 그것을 소유합니다.
누군가는 암이라는 진단을 받았기 때문에 “암에 걸렸다”고 말합니다. 네, 의사들은 당신의 몸 어디에선가 암 세포가 자라고 있는 것을 보았을 수 있습니다. 그러나 그리스도가 당신 몸 안에 계신 이후로는, 당신의 몸이 죽어가거나 암으로 황폐하게 되었어도 성령님이 의로 말미암아 생명을 주십니다(롬 8:10). 그리스도가 당신의 생명이며 당신의 죽을 수 밖에 없는 몸을 이미 살리셨다는 것을 인식하는 것으로 충분합니다. 성경은 너희 안에 그리스도, 곧 영광의 소망이 계시다고 말씀합니다(골 1:17).
그리스도가 당신 안에 계신데, 어떻게 아플 수 있습니까? 그리스도가 당신의 생명이 되시는데 어떻게 간과 심장, 신장이 잘못 될 수 있겠습니까? 지혜의 본체이신 그리스도가 당신 안에 거하시는데 어떻게 당신이 실패하거나 패배하거나 혹은 어리석은 짓을 저지를 수 있겠습니까? 그것은 불가능합니다. 문제는 너무도 많은 사람들이 그들 안에 계신 그리스도의 생명을 인식하지 못한다는 것입니다.
예를 들어, 초대 교회 성도 중 한 명이었던 애니아는 아파서 8년이나 누워있었습니다. 베드로는 그를 위해 기도하지 않았습니다. 그저 “애니아야 예수 그리스도께서 너를 낫게 하시니 일어나 네 자리를 정돈하라”고만 말했습니다. 그러나 애니아는 즉시 일어났습니다(행 9:33-34). 그리스도가 당신 안에 계시다는 것을 인식하십시오. 그분이 당신의 생명이며, 당신을 강건하게 하십니다. 할렐루야! 당신 안에 있는 그분의 영광과 의의 능력과 통치 안에서 걸으십시오.
고백
그리스도는 나의 생명이시며, 나는 그분의 영광과 의의 능력 안에서 걷습니다. 나는 생명의 법으로 살아가고, 예수 그리스도 안에서 아픔과 질병, 가난 및 모든 죄의 결과들을 다스리며, 신성한 생명에 의해 완전히 활기찹니다. 아멘.

CHRIST OUR LIFE
When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory (Colossians 3:4).
Romans 8:11 declares: “If the Spirit of Him that raised Jesus from the dead lives in you, He shall vitalise your mortal body.” The life of the human body is in the blood (Leviticus 17:11), but for the one who’s born again, his body is made alive by the Spirit. Thus, your life is from the Spirit. There’s an effect of the Holy Spirit’s presence in your physical body. Jesus said, “And these signs shall follow them that believe…if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them…” (Mark 16:17-18). Why? It’s because we don’t live by blood; we live by the Holy Ghost! It’s incongruous with our true nature and identity for a Christian to be sick. That you feel a headache doesn’t mean you “have” it. But because many haven’t been taught right, they possess the headache because they feel it. Another one says, “I have cancer,” because he was diagnosed with cancer. Yes, the doctors may have seen a growth somewhere in your body, but since Christ is in you, though your body be dead or ravaged by cancer, the Spirit gives it life because of righteousness (Romans 8:10). Just the realisation—your consciousness that Christ is your life, and that He has already quickened your mortal body is enough. The Bible says Christ in you, the hope of glory (Colossians 1:27). How could you be sick when Christ lives in you? How could anything be wrong with your liver, heart, or kidney when Christ is your life? How could you fail, be defeated, or act foolishly when Christ, the embodiment and totality of wisdom, lives in you? It’s not possible! The trouble is that not too many are conscious of the life of Christ that’s in them. For example, when Peter visited Aeneas, one of the believers in the early Church who was sick and paralyzed for eight years, he didn’t pray for him. All he said was, “Aeneas, Christ makes you well; rise and make your bed”; and that was it. The man rose up immediately (Acts 9:33-34). Become conscious that Christ lives in you; He’s your life, and He makes you well. Hallelujah! Walk in the dominion and power of His glory and righteousness in you.
CONFESSION
Christ is my life, and I walk in the glory and power of His righteousness; I live by the law of the spirit of life, and I’m thoroughly vitalised by that divine life, walking in dominion over sickness, disease, poverty, and every consequence of sin, in Jesus’ Name Amen.
