Be Prepared Ahead Of The Evil Day
“끝으로 너희가 주 안에서와 그 힘의 능력으로 강건하여지고… 우리의 씨름은 혈과 육을 상대하는 것이 아니요 통치자들과 권세들과 이 어둠의 세상 주관자들과 하늘에 있는 악의 영들을 상대함이라 그러므로 하나님의 전신 갑주를 취하라 이는 악한 날에 너희가 능히 대적하고 모든 일을 행한 후에 서기 위함이라”(엡 6:10-13)
오늘의 본문 구절의 전반부는 주님과 그분의 힘의 능력 안에서 강건하라고 강력히 권면합니다. 주님은 절대 우리가 할 수 없는 일을 하라고 말씀하지 않으십니다. 만일 그분이 “주 안에서 강건하라”고 말씀하신다면, 그것은 당신이 해야 할 일입니다. 그분은 11절에서 추가적인 지시를 내리십니다. “마귀의 간계를 능히 대적하기 위하여 하나님의 전신 갑주를 입으라.”
이 구절은 악한 날을 준비하고 미리 대비할 것을 말하고 있습니다. 그분은 마귀를 대적하여 어떤 일을 해야 하는지 알려주십니다. 그분이 말씀하신 대로 하나님의 전신 갑주를 입는다면, 당신은 마귀의 모든 술수, 책략, 계략, 조작에 맞설 수 있습니다.

사탄이 문제가 아닙니다. 당신이 주님 안에서 강하다면, 즉 당신의 마음과 입에 그분의 말씀을 간직하고 있다면, 당신은 적이 나타날 때마다 그를 당황하게 할 것입니다. 하나님의 말씀이 당신의 무기라면 당신은 항상 승리할 것입니다. 하나님의 말씀은 마귀를 무너뜨리는 성령의 검입니다. 할렐루야!
기도

BE PREPARED AHEAD OF THE EVIL DAY
Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might… For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand (Ephesians 6:10-13).
The first part of our opening scripture admonishes that you be strong in the Lord, and in the power of His might. The Lord never tells us to do something we couldn’t do. If He says, “Be strong in the Lord,” it means that’s what you need to do. He gives further instructions in the eleventh verse: “Put on the whole armour of God that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.”
This is telling you to prepare, and stay prepared ahead of the evil day. He tells you what to do against the devil. If you put on the whole armour of God as He has said, you’ll be able to stand against all the stratagems, schemes, maneuvers, and manipulations of the devil.
The reason many falter when they face challenges is that they don’t act on the Word. In the verses we read in our theme scripture, God instructed us clearly on what to do. What He said in verse thirteen is the reason for verses 10-12. There’s a day of trouble (the evil day); it’s to be anticipated. There’s an enemy out there seeking whom to devour, and when he has the opportunity, he’ll strike. But we’re not ignorant of His devices.
Satan isn’t a factor. As long as you’re strong in the Lord?keeping His Word in your heart and in your mouth?you’ll discomfit the enemy whenever he shows up. As long as the Word of God is your arsenal, you’ll always win. The Word of God is the sword of the Spirit with which you cut the devil down. Hallelujah!
PRAYER
In the Name of Jesus Christ, I exercise dominion over Satan and his cohorts, and I cut down all his machinations, schemes, deceptions and devices against my nation and my city. With the Word of God in my mouth, I triumph gloriously, reigning and prevailing over circumstances. Amen.
