말씀 안에서 자신을 보기
Beholding Yourself In The Word
“그리고 우리는 모두 베일을 벗은 얼굴로 거울 속을 보듯이 [하나님의 말씀 안에서] 주님의 영광을 계속 보기 [때문에] 광채가 끊임없이 증가하는 주님 자신의 형상으로 한 수준의 영광에서 다른 수준의 영광으로 꾸준히 변모하게 될 것이다.”(고후 3:18, AMP)
하나님의 말씀을 공부하는 것은 실제로는 하나님의 거울을 들여다보고 자신을 보는 것입니다. 말씀을 공부하고 묵상할 때 당신이 보는 것은 하나님의 영광인데, 그 영광은 실제로 당신을 진정으로 반사한 것입니다. 하나님의 말씀은 당신을 비추는 거울이기 때문입니다. 하나님의 말씀은 그리스도 예수 안에 있는 당신의 정체성과 근원과 잠재력과 능력을 보여줍니다.
우리가 복음을 전하고 다른 사람들에게 말씀을 가르치는 것은 그들이 말씀 안에서 자신을 보고 자신이 누구이며 그리스도 안에 있는 자신의 권리와 능력이 무엇인지 알 수 있게 그들 앞에 하나님의 거울을 들고 있는 것입니다! 지금껏 자신이 죄인이며 하나님의 사랑을 받을 자격과 가치가 없다고 생각한 사람이 갑자기 자신이 하나님의 사랑을 받는 자임을 보게 됩니다. 자신이 정죄를 받았다고 생각한 사람이 갑자기 그리스도께서 자기의 구원의 값을 치르셨다는 것을 발견하고는, 즉시 그 빛 가운데 걷기 시작합니다. 이것이 바로 하나님 말씀의 능력이며, 그것은 거울의 원리를 통해 작동합니다.
말씀은 당신에게 당신이 누구인지를 보여줄 뿐만 아니라 그에 따라 살 수 있는 능력도 전이합니다. 예를 들면 고린도후서 5:21은 말씀합니다. “하나님이 죄를 알지도 못하신 이를 우리를 대신하여 죄로 삼으신 것은 우리로 하여금 그 안에서 하나님의 의가 되게 하려 하심이라” 이 구절에서 성령님의 영감을 받아 선택된 단어를 신경 써서 보십시오. 우리가 그리스도 예수 안에서 하나님의 의가 되게 하시려고 그리스도 예수께서 당신을 위해 죄가 되셨습니다! 이는 당신이 하나님의 의의 표현이 되었으므로 그렇게 자신을 보고 받아들이며 그에 합당하게 살아가야 한다는 뜻입니다.
하나님의 말씀을 계속 공부하고 묵상하십시오. 그러면 그럴수록 하나님의 영광이 당신 안에서 그리고 당신을 통해서 증가하고 드러날 것입니다.
기도
사랑하는 아버지, 저를 세상에 아버지의 선하심과 탁월함을 드러내는 아버지의 의의 표현이 되게 하셔서 감사드립니다. 아버지의 말씀에서 영광스러운 실재를 보고, 제가 누구이며 아버지께서 그리스도 안에서 저를 부르셔서 되게 하신 것을 볼 수 있는 능력을 주셔서 감사합니다. 저는 저의 진정한 정체성의 실재 곧 그리스도 안에 있는 저의 유업과 권세와 잠재력과 능력 가운데 걷습니다. 예수 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘.

BEHOLDING YOURSELF IN THE WORD
And all of us, as with unveiled face, [because we] continued to behold [in the Word of God] as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are constantly being transfigured into His very own image in ever increasing splendor and from one degree of glory to another…(2 Corinthians 3:18 AMPC).
When you study the Word of God, you’re actually looking into the mirror of God, and and you see yourself. As you study and meditate, what you see is the glory of God, and that glory is actually your true reflection, because God’s Word mirrors you. It shows your identity, origin, potentials, and ability in Christ Jesus. When we preach the Gospel and teach others the Word, we’re holding God’s mirror to them so they can see themselves in the Word, know who they are, as well as their rights and abilities in Christ. The one who hitherto thought he was a sinner, unworthy and underserving of God’s love, suddenly sees that he’s loved of God. The one who thought he was condemned suddenly discovers that Christ has paid
the price for his salvation, and immediately begins to walk in that light. That’s the power of God’s Word; it works through the mirror principle. The Word doesn’t only show you who you are, it also imparts to you the ability to live accordingly. For example, 2 Corinthians 5:21 says, “For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.” Notice
carefully the choice of words, as inspired by the Spirit in this verse: Christ Jesus was made sin for you, that you might be made the righteousness of God in Him!
This means you’ve become the very expression of His righteousness. You’re to see yourself that way; accept it, and live accordingly. Keep studying and meditating on the Word of God, for the more you do, the more His glory is increased and revealed in, and through, you.
PRAYER
Dear Father, I thank you for making me the expression of your righteousness, unveiling your goodness and excellence to the world. Thank you for the ability to see the glorious realities in your Word, and see who I am and what you’ve called and made me in Christ. I walk in the reality of my inheritance, authority, and ability in Christ, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
