Let Your Divinity Soar

“내가 말하기를 너희는 신들이며 다 지존자의 아들들이라 하였으나”(시 82:6)

시편 기자가 오늘의 본문 구절에서 말한 내용을 읽고도 어떻게 하나님의 자녀들이 그저 인간일 뿐이라는 메시지를 전하거나 가르칠 수 있습니까? 그것은 예수 그리스도의 복음과 일치하지 않는 내용입니다. 예수 그리스도의 복음은 “너희는 신들이며”라고 말합니다. 예수님도 그렇게 말씀하셨습니다(요 10:34).

그러므로 당신의 신성을 주장하는 것은 하나님이 당신에 대해 친히 말씀하지 않은 바를 함부로 말하고 있는 것이 아닙니다. 당신의 신성에 대한 인식이 더 많아지고, 그 안에서 더 많이 행할수록 당신은 그리스도 안에서 더 좋게, 빠르게 성장합니다.

서신서의 모든 내용은 인류가 십자가에 못 박혔음을 우리에게 가르쳐줍니다. 로마서 6:6은 말합니다. “우리가 알거니와 우리의 옛 사람이 예수와 함께 십자가에 못 박힌 것은…” 거듭났을 때, 당신은 그리스도를 따라 새로운 종류의 존재로 태어난 것입니다. 고린도후서 5:17은 말합니다. “그런즉 누구든지 그리스도 안에 있으면 새로운 피조물이라…” 베드로도 이렇게 말했습니다. “우리는 신성한 본성에 동참하는(나눠 갖는) 자들이다”(벧후 1:4).

어떤 사람이 “우리는 인간일 뿐입니다.”라고 말한다면, 이는 그가 자신의 신성한 생명에 대해 얼마나 무지한지를 보여주는 것입니다. 당신이 자신은 그저 인간일 뿐이라고 말한다면, 당신은 인간이 겪는 고통 곧 좌절, 우울, 아픔, 질병, 결핍, 괴로움, 비참함, 사탄의 억압, 이 세상의 타락한 영향력을 경험하게 될 것입니다. 그러나 당신이 자신의 신성을 주장하고 그에 따라 산다면, 당신은 이 세상에서 승리자로 살 것이며, 이 세상의 고통, 괴로움, 비참함, 아픔 위에 살 것입니다.

당신은 “낙담하게 될 때는 어떻게 합니까? 사람이라면 낙담할 수 있지 않습니까?”라고 물을 수도 있습니다. 그러나 그것이 바로 하나님께서 우리에게 절대 하지 말라고 말씀하신 일입니다. 그분은 여호수아에게 말씀하셨습니다. “내가 네게 명령한 것이 아니냐 강하고 담대하라 두려워하지 말며 놀라지 말라…”(수 1:9) 당신에게 무슨 일이 일어나든지 상관없습니다. 낙담하기를 거절하십시오.

당신이 어떤 역경을 대면하고 있든지 담대하고 용감하게 행하십시오. 믿음 안에서 담대하십시오. 야고보서 1:2은 말합니다. “내 형제들아 너희가 여러 가지 시험을 당하거든 온전히 기쁘게 여기라.” 사람들은 시험이나 시련을 겪을 때 울지만, 우리는 기뻐합니다. 우리는 모든 일에 정복자보다 나은 자라는 것을 알기 때문입니다(롬 8:37). 할렐루야!

고백

나는 나의 신성한 생명에 대한 인식을 가지고 그 안에서 삽니다. 나는 인간의 본성에 영향을 끼치는 아픔, 질병, 죽음, 낙담, 좌절을 다스리며 삽니다. 나는 내 안에 하나님의 신성한 생명과 본성을 가지고 있으며, 그 생명과 본성은 나를 항상 승리하게 합니다. 예수 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘.

LET YOUR DIVINITY SOAR

I have said, Ye are gods; and all of you are children of the most High (Psalm 82:6).

How can anyone read what the Psalmist penned in the scripture above and still preach, believe or teach a message that tries to convince God’s people that they’re mere humans?

That isn’t consistent with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

The message of the Gospel of Jesus Christ is that “Ye are gods!” Even Jesus reiterated it (John 10:34).

Therefore, when you profess your divinity, you’re not arrogating anything to yourself that God Himself hasn’t already said about you. The more you have, and walk in the consciousness of your divinity, the better and faster your growth in Christ.

Everything in the epistle teaches us that our humanity was nailed to the Cross. Romans 6:6 tells us, “…that our old man is crucified with him….” When you were born again, you were born after Christ, as a new type of being. 2 Corinthians 5:17 says, “Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature….” Peter said, “We’re partakers (sharers) of the divine nature” (2 Peter 1:4).

When someone says, “We’re only humans,” it suddenly shows how ignorant they are of their divine life. If you say you’re human, you’ll suffer what humans suffer: the frustrations, depression, sickness, disease, lack, pain, misery, satanic oppression, and corrupting influences in this world. But if you profess your divinity and walk accordingly, you’ll live as a champion in this world, over and above the elements?the sufferings, distress, miseries and pain.

You might ask, “How about when we feel discouraged? Isn’t that part of our humanity?” But that’s the very thing that God said we must never allow. He said to Joshua, “I’ve commanded you to be strong and brave. Don’t ever be afraid or discouraged…”

(Joshua 1:9 CEV). It doesn’t matter what happens to you; refuse to be discouraged.

No matter the adversities you face, be bold, courageous, and audacious in faith. James 1:2 says,

“My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations.” Humans cry when they go through tests and trials, but we rejoice, because we know that in all these things, we’re more than conquerors (Romans 8:37). Hallelujah!

CONFESSION

I have and walk in the consciousness of my divine life. I walk in dominion over sickness, disease, death, discouragements and frustrations that affect the human nature. I have the divine life and nature of God in me that makes me victorious always, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
