계획을 세우는 것이 중요합니다
Planning Is Important
“우리에게 우리 날 계수함을 가르치사 지혜로운 마음을 얻게 하소서”(시 90:12)
성경을 통해 하나님은 우리에게 계획을 세우는 것이 중요하다는 것을 보여주십니다. 출애굽기, 레위기, 민수기, 신명기를 읽어보면 당신은 하나님께서 날들을 계수하셨음을 알 수 있습니다. 그분은 날들에 숫자를 붙이셨습니다.
예를 들어, 하나님은 민수기 1:1에서 “둘째 해 둘째 달 첫째 날”에 애굽을 떠난 이스라엘 자손들에게 말씀하셨습니다. 하나님께는 특별한 날들을 계획하는 것이 평범한 일이었습니다. 오늘의 본문 구절에서 모세는 하나님으로부터 그 방법을 배우고 싶어 합니다. “우리 날 계수(number, 번호를 매기다)함을 가르치사…” 그는 “우리 날들을 세는 법을 알려주세요.”라고 말하지 않았습니다. “계수하다(number, 번호를 매기다)”라는 단어는 회계 용어이기도 합니다. 그것은 당신이 날들을 관리한다는 의미이고, 일정을 잡거나 날들을 계획한다는 뜻입니다. 예를 들어, “나는 2020년 1월 25일에 이런 저런 일을 할거야.”라고 말하는 것은 곧 계획을 세우거나 일정을 잡는 것입니다.
어떤 사람들은 자신들의 날들을 계획하지 않습니다. 많은 사람들이 중요하지 않은 일들을 하느라 시간을 낭비했기 때문에 그들의 인생에 대해 후회를 합니다. 수년 전, 제가 사랑하는 한 사역자가 “주님, 제가 오직 한 번 밖에 없는 인생을 사는 것을 아시죠? 제가 이 인생을 낭비하지 않게 해주세요. 제가 한 번 뿐인 인생을 당신을 위해서 살도록 도와주세요.”라고 기도한 것이 기억납니다. 얼마나 대단한 기도입니까!
당신은 한 번 밖에 없는 인생을 살고 있다는 것을 인식해야 합니다. 시간은 자산이며 당신은 시간을 지혜롭게 쓰는 방법을 배워야 합니다. 시간을 지혜롭게 쓴다는 것은 당신의 시간을 영적인 일들에 투자하는 것을 의미합니다. 기억하십시오. 말씀은 이렇게 선포하고 있습니다. “육신의 생각은 사망이요 영의 생각은 생명과 평안이니라”(롬 8:6)
오직 하나님의 왕국을 확장시키는 일들을 함으로 매일을 귀하게 보내고 당신의 삶을 발전시키십시오. 말씀을 공부하고 성령님과 교제할 때에 그분께서 당신이 하길 원하시는 일과 그 일을 행하는 방식과 시기를 알려주실 것입니다.
기도
귀하신 성령님, 내주하시는 당신의 임재에 감사드립니다. 나는 내 인생을 향한 하나님의 온전한 뜻 가운데 내가 정확한 시간에 정확한 일들을 하도록, 성령님께서 인도하시고 가르치시고 영감을 주시며 힘을 주시도록 내 자신을 내어드립니다. 예수 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘.

PLANNING IS IMPORTANT
So teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom (Psalm 90:12).
In the Bible, God shows us it’s important to plan. If you read in Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers and Deuteronomy, you’d see that God numbered days; He gave numbers to certain days.
For example, in Numbers 1:1, God fixed “… the first day of the second month, in the second year…” while instructing the children of Israel on their departure from Egypt. Having plans for special days was normal with God. In our opening verse, Moses wanted God to teach us how to do it; so he said, “… teach us to number our days….” He didn’t say, “Teach us to count our days.” The word “number” there is an accounting word. It means that you’re accounting for the days; you’re scheduling or organizing your days. For example, you say, “On the 25th of January, 2020, I’m going to do such and such.” That’s planning or scheduling.
Some people don’t plan their days. Many have regrets about their lives because they wasted time doing insignificant things. I remember the prayer of a dear minister years ago, who said, “Lord, you know I only have one life to live; don’t let me waste it; help me live it for you.” What a prayer!
It ought to be your conscious thought that you have only one life to live. Time is an asset, which you must learn to invest wisely. Investing your time wisely means investing your time in spiritual things. Remember, the Word declares: “…To be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace” (Romans 8:6).
Make every day count, by doing only those things that’ll advance the Kingdom of God, and improve your life. As you study the Word and fellowship with the Holy Spirit, He’ll tell you the things He wants you to do, how He wants them done, and when you should do them.
PRAYER
Precious Holy Spirit, I thank you for your indwelling presence. I’m yielded to you to be guided, taught, inspired and strengthened to take the right steps at the right time, fulfiling your perfect will for my life, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
