휴거가 그 어느 때보다 가까이 있습니다
The Rapture Is Closer Than Ever
“그 후에 우리 살아 남은 자들도 그들과 함께 구름 속으로 끌어 올려 공중에서 주를 영접하게 하시리니 그리하여 우리가 항상 주와 함께 있으리라”(살전 4:17)
사도 바울은 성령으로 말미암아 교회의 휴거에 대한 계시를 받고 이렇게 말했습니다. “보라 내가 너희에게 비밀을 말하노니…”(고전 15:51) 교회의 휴거는 비밀 즉 신성한 계시이기 때문에 많은 사람들이 이것을 이해하지 못합니다. 사도 바울은 말합니다. “보라 내가 너희에게 비밀을 말하노니 우리가 다 잠 잘 것이 아니요 마지막 나팔에 순식간에 홀연히 다 변화되리니 나팔 소리가 나매 죽은 자들이 썩지 아니할 것으로 다시 살아나고 우리도 변화되리라”(고전 15:51-52)
밑줄 친 부분은 휴거가 얼마나 빠른 속도로 일어날 것인지 보여줍니다. 휴거는 빠르게 일어나므로 준비되지 않은 사람들에게는 시간이 없을 것입니다. 휴거는 당신이 평생 동안 준비해야 할 일이기 때문입니다.
오늘의 본문 구절에서 우리는 “휴거”와 같은 의미로 사용된 표현을 발견합니다. “끌어 올려”라는 말은 헬라어 “harpazo”에서 유래된 것으로 ‘움켜잡다, 낚아채다, 뽑다, 당기다, 강제로 데려가다’라는 뜻입니다.
휴거 때 당신이 어디에 있든지 상관없습니다. 하나님의 능력이 당신을 이 세상에서 낚아챌 것입니다. 죽었던 그리스도인들이 다시 일어날 것이고 우리는 그들과 함께 주님을 만나기 위해 구름 속으로 끌어 올려질 것입니다. 얼마나 놀라운 날일지요!
언제 이런 일이 일어날 것이라고 생각하십니까? 그 어느 때보다도 가까운 시일 내에 일어날 것입니다. 날마다 주님을 위해 살며 준비하는 것은 당신의 책임입니다. 주님이 오실 때에 그분과 함께 올라가도록 활성화된 믿음과 사랑 안에서 행하십시오.
성경은 교회를 티나 주름이나 그와 같은 것들이 없게 하시려고 주님이 오고 계신다고 말합니다. 날마다 당신 삶의 모든 순간을 그분의 의 안에서 살며 의의 일들과 열매들을 맺으십시오.

주 예수님은 교회를 티나 주름이나 그와 같은 것들이 없게 하시려고 오고 계시며, 나는 준비되어 있습니다. 나의 믿음은 주님과 영원히 함께 하기 위해 끌어 올려지도록 활성화됩니다. 이 영광스러운 “끌려 올림”을 기대하면서 나의 삶과 열정은 오직 그분의 왕국의 확장에만 있으며, 나를 통해 더 많은 사람들이 휴거에 포함됩니다. 예수 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘.

THE RAPTURE IS CLOSER THAN EVER
Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord (1 Thessalonians 4:17).
By the Spirit, the Apostle Paul got the revelation of the rapture of the Church and said, “Behold, I shew you a mystery…” (1 Corinthians 15:51). This is why many don’t understand the Rapture; it’s a mystery; divine revelation. He said, “…We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed” (1 Corinthians 15:51-52).
The underlined portion shows how fast the Rapture will happen; it’ll be so fast there’d be no time for those who weren’t prepared, because it’s something for which you should have been prepared all your life.
In our theme verse, we find an expression that’s synonymous with the term, “Rapture”; it’s the phrase, “caught up” which is from the Greek word, “harpazo.” ̄It means to seize, catch (away, up), pluck, pull, take by force.
At the Rapture, it makes no difference where you are, the power of God will snatch you away from this world. Christians who had died will be resurrected, and together with them, we’ll be caught up in the clouds to meet the Lord. What a day that will be!
When is this going to take place? It’s closer than ever; it’s going to be anytime soon. Your responsibility is to be prepared by living your life for the Lord, every day. Keep walking in love, and your faith activated to be caught up to be with the Lord at His appearing.
The Bible says He’s coming for a Church without spot, wrinkle, blemish or any such thing (Ephesians 5:27). Live every day, every moment of your life in His righteousness, producing works and fruits of righteousness.
CONFESSION
The Lord Jesus is coming for a Church without spot, wrinkle, blemish or any such thing, and I’m ready. My faith is activated to be caught up to be with the Lord forever! And while in expectation of this glorious “catching away,” my life and passions are about His Kingdom and its expansion; through me, many more are being enlisted for the Rapture, in Jesus’ Name.
