Associates Of The God-kind
“내가 말하기를 너희는 신들이며 다 지존자의 아들들이라 하였으나” (시 82:6)
시편 82:6은 놀라운 구절입니다. 이 진리는 주 예수님께서 요한복음 10:34에서 친히 말씀하셨습니다. “너희 율법에 기록된 바 내가 너희를 신이라 하였노라 하지 아니하였느냐” 이 구절이 말하는 바가 무엇입니까?
요한복음 1:12은 말합니다. “영접하는 자 곧 그 이름을 믿는 자들에게는 하나님의 자녀가 되는 권세를 주셨으니” 그리고 요한일서 3:1에서 사도 요한은 이렇게 외쳤습니다. “보라 아버지께서 어떠한 사랑을 우리에게 베푸사 하나님의 자녀라 일컬음을 받게 하셨는가”
사도 바울은 갈라디아 교회에 보낸 아름다운 편지에서 다음과 같이 말했습니다. “너희가 아들인 고로 하나님이 그 아들의 영을 우리 마음 가운데 보내사 아빠 아버지라 부르게 하셨느니라 그러므로 네가 이후로는 종이 아니요 아들이니 아들이면 하나님으로 말미암아 유업을 이을 자니라”(갈 4:6-7)
따라서 예수님께서 우리가 신이라고 말씀하셨을 때, 그분은 우리의 신성한 출생과 본성에 대한 진리를 드러내신 것입니다. 베드로후서 1:4은 선포합니다. “이로써 그 보배롭고 지극히 큰 약속을 우리에게 주사 이 약속으로 말미암아 너희가 정욕 때문에 세상에서 썩어질 것을 피하여 신성한 성품에 참여하는 자가 되게 하려 하셨느니라.” 이는 당신이 이제 하나님과 같은 종류의 존재라는 뜻입니다.
당신은 하나님의 생명을 운반하고 전달하는 자입니다. 얼마나 복된 실재입니까! 그러나 이것이 우리가 하나님과 동등하다는 의미는 아닙니다. 하나님께서 우리를 그분의 신성한 수준으로 데려가셨다는 뜻입니다. 주 예수님은 여전히 우리 삶의 주님이시고, 우리 왕이시며, 우리는 그분을 섬깁니다.
기도
사랑하는 아버지, 그리스도 안에 있는 나의 정체성에 대한 계시에 감사드립니다. 나는 하나님과 같은 종류의 존재입니다. 나는 유익, 승리, 통치권, 능력의 관점에서 기능합니다. 내가 하나님으로부터 태어났고 내 안에 있는 그분의 생명을 인식하기 때문입니다. 나는 이 이해의 충만함 가운데 행하며 주님의 뜻을 따라 살고, 항상 주님을 나의 주님, 주인, 왕으로 섬깁니다. 아멘.

ASSOCIATES OF THE GOD-KIND
“I have said, Ye are gods; and all of you are children of the most High” (Psalm 82:6).
Psalm 82:6 is a remarkable portion of scripture; this truth was echoed by the Lord Jesus Himself in John 10:34. He said, “Is it not written in your law, I said, Ye are gods?” What would this mean but what it says?
In John 1:12, the Bible tells us, “But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name.” Then in 1 John 3:1, the Apostle John exclaimed excitedly, “Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God.”
The Apostle Paul, in his beautiful letter to the Galatian Church, said, “And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father. Wherefore thou art no more a servant, but a son; and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ” (Galatians 4:6-7).
Therefore, when Jesus said we are gods, He unveiled the truth about our divine birth and nature. 2 Peter 1:4 declares, “Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature.” This means you’re now an associate or sharer of the God-kind.
You’re a carrier or conveyor of the God-life. What a blessed reality! This, however, doesn’t mean we’re equal with God Himself but that He’s brought us into His divine class. The Lord Jesus is still the Lord of our lives, our King, and we serve Him.
PRAYER
Dear Father, thank you for the revelation of my identity in Christ. I’m an associate of the God-kind; I function from the standpoint of advantage, victory, dominion, and power, because I’m born of God and conscious of His life in me. I walk in the fullness of this understanding, living according to your will, always serving you as my Lord, Master, and King. Amen.
