Christ In You Is All The Power You Need

“우리 가운데서 역사하시는 능력대로 우리가 구하거나 생각하는 모든 것에 더 넘치도록 능히 하실 이에게”(엡 3:20)

사도 바울은 성령으로 말미암아 우리에게 주어진 무한한 능력을 계시해 줍니다. 그는 골로새서 1:27에서 이렇게 말합니다. “하나님이 그들로 하여금 이 비밀의 영광이 이방인 가운데 얼마나 풍성한지를 알게 하려 하심이라 이 비밀은 너희 안에 계신 그리스도시니 곧 영광의 소망이니라” 당신 안에 계신 그리스도는 당신이 필요로 하는 모든 능력이십니다. 하나님께 영광 드립니다!

CHRIST IN YOU IS ALL THE POWER YOU NEED

“Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us” (Ephesians 3:20).

The Apostle Paul, by the Spirit, reveals the limitless power available to us. In Colossians 1:27, he tells us, “To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.” Christ in you is all the power you need. Glory to God!

I want you to observe something in the opening text again: “…according to the power that worketh in us.” “According to the power that worketh in us.”

2 Corinthians 4:7 says, “But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us.” The power is in you. Christ is in you. Christ in you is all the power you need for any change or transformation you desire in any area of your life.

If you’re a Pastor for example, and you desire a transformation in your church, and to operate at higher levels of ministry, the power to make it happen is within you. The Bible says out of your heart shall flow rivers of living water (John 7:38).

Life issues from your heart (Proverbs 4:23); all the prosperity, blessings and abundance you could ever imagine, require or desire are in your heart. How do you activate that power to work for you? It’s by consciously meditating on the Word, and speaking in tongues.

You can bring that power to bear today on anything, or any area of your life. It brings to mind the words of the Master in Matthew 17:20: “…nothing shall be impossible unto you.” You can do anything, be anything, and get anything. Read the Apostle Paul’s inspiring words in Philippians 4:13 AMPC, “I have strength for all things in Christ Who empowers me [I am ready for anything and equal to anything through Him Who infuses inner strength into me; I am self-sufficient in Christ’s sufficiency].” Amen.

PRAYER

Dear Father, I thank you for your power and ability that’s at work within me, causing me to do exploits, and walk in the supernatural. Thank you for your limitless resources domiciled in my spirit. Your power is fully activated and operational in me, transforming my life, work, family, and ministry, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

마귀에 대한 권세

Authority Over Demons

“… 마귀를 대적하라 그리하면 너희를 피하리라”(약 4:7)

악한 영으로 인해 고통 받고 절망적인 상황 가운데 있던 한 여성이 저에게 온 적이 있습니다. 그때 그녀를 괴롭히던 마귀들은 자신들의 이름을 밝혔는데, 이는 예수님이 귀신 군단을 마주치신 이야기가 생각나게 합니다.

제가 예수 이름으로 귀신들에게 그 여성에게서 나올 것을 명하자, 그들은 그녀에게서 나왔습니다. 그러나 24시간 후, 사탄의 영향력에서 벗어났던 그 여성에게 다시 문제가 생겼다는 소식을 듣게 되었습니다. 저는 즉시 전화해서 그 여성을 데려오라고 말했습니다. 그 여성을 보자마자 귀신들이 돌아왔음을 알 수 있었습니다.

저는 다시 한번 귀신들에게 그녀에게서 나오라고 명했습니다. 그리고 그들은 나왔습니다! 하나님을 찬양합니다! 여기서 당신이 이해해야 할 사실이 있습니다. 우리는 귀신에 대한 권세를 가지고 있는 것이지, 사람에 대한 통치권을 가지고 있는 것이 아닙니다. 각 사람은 자신의 선택과 행동을 통해 귀신들을 자신의 삶으로 초청할지 말지 결정할 의향을 가지고 있습니다.

성령님의 인도를 따라 특정 귀신이 돌아오지 못하도록 명령하는 경우가 있습니다. 귀신들은 돌아오지 말라는 명령을 받은 것을 압니다. 예수님은 더러운 영이 한 소년에게서 나와서 다시 그에게 돌아가지 못하도록 명령을 내리신 일을 통해 본을 보여주셨습니다(눅 9:42). 그 어린 소년은 스스로 결정을 내릴 수 없었기 때문에 예수님이 귀신을 쫓아내 주셨습니다.

영적인 영역에서 당신은 그리스도와 함께 앉아 있습니다. 당신은 그분의 이름을 사용할 위임장을 가지고 그분의 권세의 자리에 있습니다. 모든 어둠의 세력은 그리스도 안에 있는 당신의 권세를 알고 반응합니다. 따라서, 오늘 귀신과 환경에 대한 통치권을 담대하게 행사하십시오.

AUTHORITY OVER DEMONS

“…Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.” (James 4:7 KJV).

A distressed lady, tormented by evil spirits and trapped in a seemingly hopeless situation was once brought to me. During this encounter, the demons identified themselves by revealing their names, reminiscent of the account in the Bible where Jesus encountered a legion of demons.

I commanded the devils to come out of her in the Name of Jesus, and they did. But just about twenty-four hours later, I received news that this same lady, who was free from this demonic influence, was in trouble again. I immediately called for her to be brought back to me. As soon as I saw her, I discerned that the demons had returned.

Again, I addressed the demons to come out of her. And they did! Praise God! Here’s something to understand: although we have authority over demons, we do not have dominion over human beings. People have the will to decide whether to invite these devils back into their lives through their choices and behaviours.

There’re instances when, led by the Spirit, we issue injunctions to restrain specific demons from returning; the demons know they’re under orders not to return. Jesus exemplified this when He commanded the unclean spirit to come out of a boy and enter him no more (Luke 9:42). Obviously, the little boy couldn’t make decisions for himself, hence Jesus barred the demon.

In the realm of the spirit, you seat with Christ; you occupy His place of authority, with the power of attorney to use His name. All the powers of darkness respond to, and recognize your authority in Christ. Therefore, be bold to exercise this dominion today over demons and circumstances.

PRAYER

Dear Father, thank you for the authority you’ve given to me over all demonic forces. I exercise authority over demons and establish your kingdom in every place and in the hearts of men, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Think And Talk Like Jesus

“아버지께서 자기 속에 생명이 있음 같이 아들에게도 생명을 주어 그 속에 있게 하셨고”(요 5:26)

예수님처럼 말했던 사람은 단 한명도 없었습니다. 그분은 인간적인 생각을 능가하는 확신과 담대함으로 가장 엄청나고 숭고한 말씀을 하셨습니다. 우리가 방금 읽은 내용에 대해 생각해 보십시오! 예수님은 요한복음 6:38에서 이렇게 말씀하셨습니다. “내가 하늘에서 내려온 것은…” 그분은 자신의 정체성이나 출신에 대해 당당하셨습니다. 우리도 그래야 합니다.

THINK AND TALK LIKE JESUS

“For as the Father hath life in himself; so hath he given to the Son to have life in himself” (John 5:26).

Nobody ever talked like Jesus. He spoke the most profound and sublime words ever, with such confidence and audacity that beats the natural mind. Think about what we just read! In John 6:38 He said: “For I came down from heaven….” He was unapologetic about His identity and origin. And that’s how we ought to be.

1 John 4:17 says, “Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the Day of Judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world.” This is how you must think, talk, and live. Be conscious of your divine heritage and identity. 1 John 4:4 says, “Ye are of God, little children….” That means you hail from God.

So, like the Lord Jesus, boldly affirm who you are. In John 8:12, He said, “I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.” Confidently declare the same truth about yourself because He also said in Matthew 5:14, “You are the light of the world?” Be conscious of who you are in Christ; be bold to call yourself what God has called you.

Let your consciousness of your divinity control everything about your life. You can live as successfully as Jesus did by following His example and the principles by which He lived. Become conscious of the God-life in you, and boldly speak accordingly.

CONFESSION

I’m conscious of the life of God in me; therefore, no sickness, disease or infirmity can thrive in my body. The life of Christ is evidently manifested in me, from glory to glory, in the Name of the Lord Jesus. Amen.

Eternal Life Is Yours – Seize It

영생은 하나님의 생명과 본성입니다. 영생은 신성의 유기적이고 실존적인 속성입니다. 이제 당신이 하나님의 생명과 본성을 가졌다는 것을 아는 것만으로는 충분치 않습니다. 당신은 이 진리를 붙잡아야 합니다. 이것이 디모데전서 6:12에서 바울을 통해 성령께서 말씀하신 바입니다. “믿음의 선한 싸움을 싸우라 영생을 취하라…”

밑줄 친 부분은 헬라어로 “에필람바노마이(epilambanomai)”이며, 놓지 않고 붙잡는다는 뜻입니다. 즉, 자신에게 영생이 있다는 사실을 인식만 하는 것이 아니라 붙잡아야 합니다. 영생을 소유하십시오. 영생을 소유한 상태로 산다는 뜻입니다.

날마다 당신 안에 하나님의 생명이 있음을 인식하며 행하십시오. 영생으로 충만한 사람처럼 생각하고, 행동하고, 사십시오. 당신에게 신성한 생명이 있다고 자주 고백하십시오. 그 생명은 아픔, 질병, 실패, 죽음 혹은 마귀로 인해 더러워지거나 썩을 수 없습니다.

그리스도인인 당신이 질병에 걸려서 “오 하나님, 이 병을 제게서 없애주세요”라고 기도한다면, 어떤 변화도 없을 것입니다. 그분은 당신에게 영생을 주셨을 때, 이미 모든 병을 당신에게서 없애주셨기 때문입니다. 당신이 시련, 고통, 어려움을 겪고 있더라도 당신은 하나님 앞에서 완전한 자입니다.

하나님께서 보시기에는 당신에게 아무런 문제도 없습니다. 그러므로 말씀을 통해 하나님의 생각과 비전에 당신을 일치시키고 “나는 그리스도 안에서 완전합니다. 나는 어떤 아픔, 질병, 고통도 내 몸에 있기를 거절합니다. 나는 내 안에 하나님의 생명을 가지고 있기 때문입니다!”라고 선포하십시오. 당신은 하나님과 같은 종류의 존재입니다. 이런 인식을 가지고 살며 그리스도 안에 있는 자신의 진짜 모습답게 살아가십시오.

ETERNAL LIFE IS YOURS—SEIZE IT

“I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God so that you may know that you have eternal life” (1 John 5:13 NIV).

Eternal life is the life and nature of God. It’s the organic and existential attributes of Deity. However, it’s not enough for you to know that this life and nature of God is now yours; you have to seize it. That’s the thrust of the Spirit’s communication through Paul in 1 Timothy 6:12. It says, “Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life….”

The Greek rendering of our underlined portion is “epilambanomai.” It means to take a hold of something without letting go. In other words, don’t just be aware that you have eternal life; seize eternal life; take possession of it. This means to live it like you have it.

Every blessed day, walk in the consciousness that you have the life of God in you. Think, act, and live as one who’s filled with eternal life. Every now and then, affirm that you have the divine life. It’s incorruptible and can’t be tainted or defiled by sickness, disease, failure, death or the devil.

If as a Christian, you’ve been sick and praying, “Oh God, please take away this sickness from me.” That may not change anything, because He already did when He gave you eternal life. Before God, you’re already perfect, even though you might be going through trials, pains, and difficulties.

In His sight, there’s nothing wrong with you. Therefore, align yourself with His thoughts and visions, through the Word, and declare, “I’m perfected in Christ Jesus; I refuse to accommodate any sickness, disease or pain in my body, because I have the life of God in me! I’ve taken hold of eternal life.” You’re an associate of the God-kind; live in this consciousness and be who you are in Christ.

PRAYER

Dear Father, thank you for giving me eternal life and bringing me into a vital union with you! I’ve taken a hold of eternal life, and this life is working in every fibre of my being. I rejoice that I’m one spirit with you, and thus an associate of the God-kind. Amen.

Our Joint Sitting With Him

“자녀이면 또한 상속자 곧 하나님의 상속자요 그리스도와 함께 한 상속자니 우리가 그와 함께 영광을 받기 위하여 고난도 함께 받아야 할 것이니라”(롬 8:17)

바울은 에베소서 1장에서 하나님이 그리스도를 죽은 자 가운데서 살리시고 하늘에서 하나님 우편 즉 권세의 위치에 앉히실 때 그분이 그리스도 안에서 성취하신 것에 대해 강조합니다. 하나님은 모든 능력을 가지시며 영화로우십니다(엡1:20). 할렐루야!

이제 에베소서 2:6이 말하는 바를 보십시오. “또 함께 일으키사 그리스도 예수 안에서 함께 하늘에 앉히시니” 예수를 죽은 자 가운데서 살리시고 자기 우편에 앉히신 그 하나님이 우리를 함께 일으키시고 그리스도 안에서 함께 하늘에 앉히셨습니다. 엄청난 진리입니다!

“함께 앉다”라는 용어는 그리스어의 “신가티조(sugkathizo)”에서 유래되었습니다. 그것은 함께 앉아있는 것 혹은 공유된 권세를 의미합니다. 우리는 그리스도와 함께 앉아 있습니다. 우리는 그분이 계신 곳에 있고, 그분이 소유하신 것을 가지고 있습니다. 그분이 소유하신 권세는 우리에게도 주어진 것입니다. 예수님이 명령하시는 모든 것은 우리 이름 안에서 이루어지며, 우리가 명령하는 모든 것은 그분의 이름 안에서 이루어집니다.

이것은 모두 합법적입니다. 우리가 그리스도와 함께 “함께 앉는 것”은 이 땅의 영역이 아니라 하늘의 영역입니다. 마태복음 18:18에는 주 예수께서 승천하시기 전에 다음과 같이 선포하신 것이 나옵니다. “진실로 너희에게 이르노니 무엇이든지 너희가 땅에서 매면 하늘에서도 매일 것이요 무엇이든지 땅에서 풀면 하늘에서도 풀리리라”

우리는 이 땅에서 그분을 대표하는 자이며, 우리가 이 땅에서 선포하고 말하는 바는 하늘에서도 보증됩니다. 우리는 이 세상에서 하나님의 영광을 나타내고 그분의 뜻을 이 땅에 세울 책임을 받았습니다. 그리스도 안에 있는 당신의 권세를 담대하게 행사하십시오. 어디를 가든지 하나님의 뜻을 행하고 그분의 왕국을 나타내십시오.

기도

사랑하는 아버지, 그리스도와 함께 앉을 수 있는 특권과 축복, 그리고 당신의 뜻을 이 땅에 집행하기 위해 교회에 주신 권세와 책임에 감사드립니다. 지금도 당신의 의, 탁월함, 아름다움, 은혜가 온 세상을 가득 채웁니다. 그리고 당신의 왕국은 사람들의 마음 안에서 다스리고 통치합니다. 예수 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘.

OUR “JOINT SITTING” WITH HIM

“And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together” (Romans 8:17).

In the first chapter of Ephesians, Paul highlights what God accomplished in Christ when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His own right hand—in the place of authority—in the heavenly realms. He possesses all power and is glorified (Ephesians 1:20). Hallelujah!

Now, read what the Bible says in Ephesians 2:6 “And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus” (Ephesians 2:6). The same God that raised Jesus from the dead and sat Him at His own right hand, has raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ. This is huge!

The term “sit together” is from the Greek word “sugkathizō “; it implies joint sitting or shared authority. We have joint sitting with Christ. We are where He is, and we have what He has. The authority He possesses is extended to us. Everything Jesus commands is done in our name, and everything we command is done in His Name.

This is all legal. Our “joint sitting” with Christ is not of this earthly realm, but heavenly; it has been established from heaven. In Matthew 18:18, the Lord Jesus, before his ascension declared, “Verily I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever ye shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven” (Matthew 18:18).

We’re His legal representatives on earth and what we declare and speak in the earth is endorsed in the heavens. We are entrusted with the responsibility of manifesting the glory of God in our world and establishing His will in the earth. Confidently exercise your authority in Christ. Enforce God’s will and manifest His Kingdom where you are.

PRAYER

Dear Father, thank you for the privilege and blessing to have joint sitting with Christ, and the authority and responsibility you’ve reposed on the Church to enforce your will in the earth. Even now, your righteousness, excellence, beauty, and grace fill the nations, and your Kingdom reigns and rules in men’s hearts, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Learn To Respond To His Promptings

“여호와께서 임하여 서서 전과 같이 사무엘아 사무엘아 부르시는지라 사무엘이 이르되 말씀하옵소서 주의 종이 듣겠나이다 하니”(삼상 3:10)

사무엘은 어렸을 때부터 엘리 제사장에게 하나님의 음성에 반응하는 방법을 배웠습니다. 하나님께서는 세 번이나 사무엘의 이름을 부르셨는데, 그때마다 사무엘은 엘리가 자신을 부르는 줄 알고 그에게 달려갔습니다.

그 소년이 처음 자신의 이름을 듣고 엘리에게 달려갔을 때부터 하나님은 그를 막으시고 “사무엘아, 엘리에게 가지말라. 내가 너를 부르고 있다.”라고 말씀하실 수도 있었습니다. 하지만 하나님은 그렇게 하지 않으셨습니다. 하나님은 그런 방식으로 움직이시는 분이 아니기 때문입니다. 오히려 하나님은 사무엘이 가도록 두셨고, 엘리에게 훈련의 책임을 주셨습니다.

저는 사역 초창기에 이러한 것들을 배우며 주님께 “하지만 모든 사람들은 주님의 음성을 알아야 합니다.”라고 말씀드렸던 기억이 납니다. 하지만 주님께서는 “아니다. 내 성숙한 양들이 나의 음성을 아는 것이다. 어린 양들은 그저 다른 양들을 따라간다. 어린 양은 아직 목자의 음성을 모르기 때문이다.”라고 대답해 주셨습니다. 얼마나 가르침을 주는 말씀인지요!

주 예수님께서는 베드로에게 “내 어린 양을 먹이라”고 말씀하셨다는 것을 기억하십시오. 그리고 “내 양들을 치라”고 말씀하셨습니다. 어린 양들은 다 큰 양들과 다르기 때문입니다. 그들은 “아기들”이므로 가르침을 받아야 합니다.

당신이 하나님의 말씀을 공부할 때 하나님께서는 당신에게 말씀하고 계신 것입니다. 하지만 당신은 그분께 응답해야 합니다. 예를 들어, 성경을 읽을 때 단순히 글자를 읽거나 인용만 하지 마십시오. 그 말씀에 반응하십시오! 갈라디아서 5:24을 예로 들어보겠습니다. “그리스도 예수의 사람들은 육체와 함께 그 정욕과 탐심을 십자가에 못 박았느니라” 그저 읽거나 인용만 하지 마십시오. “나는 그리스도의 것이고, 하나님께 속해 있다. 그러므로 나는 육체와 함께 정욕과 탐심을 십자가에 못 박았다. 나는 세상을 이겼다!”고 말하며 반응하십시오. 언제나 하나님과 그분의 말씀에 응답하십시오. 당신의 반응으로 당신은 축복받습니다.

기도

사랑하는 아버지, 당신의 말씀은 내 발에 등이요 내 길에 빛입니다. 나는 당신의 음성을 듣고 분별합니다. 나는 당신의 인도와 음성과 조언에 예민하게 주의를 기울입니다. 나는 믿음으로 응답하며, 나의 생각과 말과 행동은 일치합니다. 나는 언제나 승리 가운데 걷습니다. 예수 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘.

LEARN TO RESPOND TO HIS PROMPTINGS

“And the Lord came, and stood, and called as at other times, Samuel, Samuel. Then Samuel answered, Speak; for thy servant heareth” (1 Samuel 3:10).

Samuel, as a young man, was taught by Eli, the priest how to respond to God’s voice. God called Samuel by name three different times and on each of those occasions, Samuel thought it was Eli that was calling him and ran to Eli.

From the first time the boy heard his name and ran to Eli, God could have stopped him and said, “Samuel, don’t go to Eli, I’m the one calling you.” He didn’t do that because that’s not how He operates. Rather, He let him go and left the responsibility of the training to Eli.

In my early days in the ministry, while still learning these things, I remember saying to the Lord, “But everybody ought to know your voice.” His answer was, “No. It’s my sheep that know my voice. The lambs follow the bidding of the sheep, because they don’t know the voice of the shepherd.” How instructive!

Remember, the Lord Jesus said to Peter, “Feed my lambs.” He also said, “Feed my sheep.” That’s because the lambs are different from the sheep; they’re “babies” and that’s why they have to be taught.

When you study His Word, He talks to you, but you have to respond to Him. For example, when you read the Scriptures; don’t just read or quote them; respond! Take Galatians 5:24 as an example; it says, “And they that are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts.” Don’t merely read and quote it; respond by saying: “I am Christ’s, I belong to God; therefore, I’ve crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts; I’ve overcome the world!” Always respond to God and to His Word; your response is where your blessing is.

PRAYER

Dear Father, your Word is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path. I hear and discern your voice. I’m sensitive and attentive to your guidance, promptings and counsels. I respond in faith, and my thoughts, words and actions are aligned with your will always. I walk in victory continually, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

The Essence Of Christ In You

“그러므로 너희가 그리스도와 함께 다시 살리심을 받았으면 위의 것을 찾으라 거기는 그리스도께서 하나님 우편에 앉아 계시느니라 위의 것을 생각하고 땅의 것을 생각하지 말라 이는 너희가 죽었고 너희 생명이 그리스도와 함께 하나님 안에 감추어졌음이라”(골 3:1-3)

오늘의 본문 구절은 우리가 지금 그리스도 안에서 갖고 있는 생명을 이해하도록 도와줍니다. 우리가 가진 생명은 부활의 생명입니다. 기억하십시오. 예수님께서 십자가에 죽으셨을 때 우리도 그분과 함께 죽었습니다. 우리는 그분과 함께 장사되었고, 하나님께서 예수님을 일으키셨을 때, 우리도 그분과 함께 살아났습니다.

당신이 부모로부터 태어났을 때 가지고 있던 인간 생명은 죽었습니다. 이제 당신은 새 생명, 곧 그리스도를 얻었습니다! 그리스도가 당신의 생명입니다. 할렐루야!

성경은 말합니다. “우리 생명이신 그리스도께서 나타나실 그 때에 너희도 그와 함께 영광 중에 나타나리라.”(골 3:4) 정말 대단한 진리입니다. 즉, 당신이 평범한 사람이 아니라는 뜻입니다. 그리스도가 당신의 생명이라면 어떻게 아플 수 있습니까? 그리스도가 당신 안에 사시는데 어떻게 간, 심장, 신장에 문제가 생길 수 있습니까? 당신이 안으로부터 그리스도로 힘을 얻고 그분의 지혜로 인도받고 있는데 어떻게 실패하거나, 패배하거나, 어리석게 행동할 수 있습니까?

자주 이렇게 담대하게 선포하십시오. “그리스도가 나의 생명이다!” 당신 안에 계신 그리스도는 세상에서는 감춰져 있는 비밀이지만, 그리스도인에게는 삶의 본질이자 영광입니다. 이 비밀은 만세와 만대로부터 감추어진 것이었지만, 이제 그 비밀이 드러났습니다. “이 비밀은 만세와 만대로부터 감추어졌던 것인데 이제는 그의 성도들에게 나타났고 하나님이 그들로 하여금 이 비밀의 영광이 이방인 가운데 얼마나 풍성한지를 알게 하려 하심이라 이 비밀은 너희 안에 계신 그리스도시니 곧 영광의 소망이니라.”(골 1:26-27)

THE ESSENCE OF CHRIST IN YOU

“If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God. Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth. For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God” (Colossians 3:1-3).

Our opening verse helps to paint a picture of the life we have now in Christ. It’s the resurrection life. Remember, when He died on the cross, we died with Him. We were buried with Him, and when God raised Him up, we were raised together with Him.

The human life you had when you were born of your parents is dead; you have a new life now—CHRIST! Christ is your life. Hallelujah!

The Bible says, “When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory” (Colossians 3:4). This is mind-blowing. This means you’re not an ordinary person. How could you be sick when Christ is your life? How could anything be wrong with your liver, heart, or kidney when Christ lives in you? How could you fail, be defeated, or act foolishly when you’re powered from within by Christ and guided by His wisdom?

Every so often, boldly declare: “Christ is my life!” Christ in you is a mystery to the world, but it is the essence and glory of the Christian life. The mystery was hidden from ages and generations, but now, it’s been revealed: “Even the mystery which hath been hid from ages and from generations, but now is made manifest to his saints: To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory” (Colossians 1:26-27).

The essence of Christ in you is Christ is your life. You’re not subject to the rudiments and limitations of this world; you have the Christ-life, the divine nature. Blessed be God!

CONFESSION

I’m not subject to the rudiments and limitations of this world, because I live in Christ and Christ is my life. He’s in every fibre of my being, in every bone of my body, and in every cell of my blood! I reign and rule over circumstances in His Name, shielded from all evil and harm because I’m seated together with Christ in the heavenly realms. Hallelujah!

오직 하나님만 신뢰하고 의지하십시오

Trust And Rely On God Alone

“너는 마음을 다하여 여호와를 신뢰하고 네 명철을 의지하지 말라”(잠 3:5)

불완전한 인간 시스템으로 가득 찬 세상에서, 우리의 신뢰를 이러한 오류가 있는 체계에 두지 않고 주님을 전적으로 신뢰하는 것이 중요합니다. 인간 시스템의 실패와 한계는 우리의 궁극적인 신뢰가 전적으로 신뢰할 수 있는 분, 즉 주님께 있어야 함을 상기시켜 줍니다.

얼마 전, 부당한 유죄 판결을 내린 주 정부를 고소할 계획인 한 남성에 대한 뉴스가 방송되었습니다. 그는 자신이 저지르지도 않은 범죄로 인해 37년의 긴 세월 동안 감옥에 있었습니다. 정말 끔찍한 일입니다.

정부의 무능함과 시스템의 실패의 결과로 저지르지도 않은 범죄 때문에 감옥에 갇혀 있는 사람들이 있습니다. 인간은 자연스럽게 무언가 혹은 누군가에게 의지하고 신뢰하고 싶어합니다. 우리는 믿음 없이 살도록 설계되어 있지 않습니다. 우리는 믿음 혹은 신뢰를 갖도록 만들어졌습니다.

그러나 인간은 틀릴 수 있기 때문에 인간의 시스템 역시 틀리기 쉽습니다. 당신이 살고 있는 나라 혹은 사회의 시스템과 체계가 얼마나 좋고 견고한지는 중요하지 않습니다. 그것들은 여전히 틀릴 수 있습니다. 오직 하나님만 신뢰하고 의지하십시오. 그분의 말씀을 따르고 행하십시오.

왕국의 원칙, 시스템, 체계를 신뢰하십시오. 예레미야 선지자는 성령의 감동으로 다음과 같이 기록했습니다. “그러나 무릇 여호와를 의지하며 여호와를 의뢰하는 그 사람은 복을 받을 것이라 그는 물 가에 심어진 나무가 그 뿌리를 강변에 뻗치고 더위가 올지라도 두려워하지 아니하며 그 잎이 청청하며 가무는 해에도 걱정이 없고 결실이 그치지 아니함 같으리라”(렘 17:7-8)

그리고 시편 기자는 시편 37:3에서 “여호와를 의뢰하고 선을 행하라 땅에 머무는 동안 그의 성실을 먹을 거리로 삼을지어다”(시 37:3)라고 말했습니다. 무너지기 쉽고 결함이 있는 인간 체계 대신 하나님을 완전히 의지하십시오. 그분은 절대 실패하지 않으십니다. 그분은 의로우시며, 공정하시고, 신실하시고, 참되십니다. 마음을 다해 그분을 신뢰하십시오.

기도

사랑하는 아버지, 나는 당신과 당신의 절대적으로 확실한 말씀을 신뢰합니다. 나는 당신의 지혜와 명철을 의지하며 전적으로 당신을 신뢰합니다. 주님, 날마다 승리하고 당신의 영광과 의를 나타내도록 나에게 분별력과 지혜를 주시니 감사합니다. 예수 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘.

TRUST AND RELY ON GOD ALONE

“Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding” (Proverbs 3:5).

In a world filled with imperfect human systems, it’s crucial to shift our trust from these fallible structures and wholly trust in the Lord. The failures and limitations of human systems serve as reminders to us that our ultimate trust should be in the One who is completely reliable—the LORD!

Sometime ago, news aired of a man who was planning to sue his state government for being wrongfully convicted. He endured 37 long years in prison for a crime he never committed. It’s truly disheartening to think about it.

There’re others who have remained behind bars for crimes they didn’t commit as a result of the failure and inadequacies of the system and their government. Humans naturally feel the need to trust and depend on something or someone. We weren’t designed to be faithless; we were meant to have faith or to be trusting.

However, because humans are fallible, systems run by individuals are also prone to failure. It makes no difference how lofty or robust you think the systems and structures of your nation or society are; it’s still fallible. Trust and rely on God alone. Follow and live by His Word.

Trust the principles, systems and structures of the Kingdom. The prophet Jeremiah, as inspired by the Spirit wrote: “Blessed is the man that trusteth in the LORD, and whose hope the LORD is. For he shall be as a tree planted by the waters, and that spreadeth out her roots by the river, and shall not see when heat cometh, but her leaf shall be green; and shall not be careful in the year of drought, neither shall cease from yielding fruit” (Jeremiah 17:7-8).

Then in Psalm 37:3, the psalmist said, “Trust in the LORD, and do good; so shalt thou dwell in the land, and verily thou shalt be fed” Cultivate absolute reliance on God instead of the frail or flawed human constructs. He never fails. He’s righteous and just, faithful and true. Trust Him wholeheartedly.

PRAYER

Dear Father, I place my ultimate trust in you and your infallible Word. I lean on your wisdom and understanding, and wholly depend on you. Thank you, Lord, for granting me the discernment and wisdom to live triumphantly every day and manifest your glory and righteousness, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
