It Matters What You Listen To

“이 말에서 한시도 눈을 떼지 말고, 너의 마음 속 깊이 잘 간직하여라. 이 말은 그것을 얻는 사람에게 생명이 되며, 그의 온 몸에 건강을 준다.”(잠 4:21-22, 새번역)

당신이 무엇을 듣는지가 중요합니다. 당신의 영을 세우는 하나님의 말씀을 듣는다면 당신은 세워질 것입니다. 당신의 삶은 발전할 것입니다. 하나님의 말씀은 생명이며, 당신이 말씀이 말하는 대로 말씀에 주의를 기울인다면 당신을 건강해질 것입니다.
당신은 부정적인 말과 비하하거나 비난하는 정보를 거절하는 법을 배워야 합니다. 많은 사람들이 자신의 연약함을 인식하며 살기 때문에 자연스럽게 자신을 비난하는 말에 더 편안함을 느낍니다.
이런 사람들은 하나님의 말씀에 대한 무지로 인해 늘 두려움 속에 삽니다. 하나님의 자녀인 당신은 달라야 합니다. 스스로 하나님의 말씀을 배우고 알아야 합니다. 주 예수님께서 말씀하셨습니다. “진리를 알지니 진리가 너희를 자유롭게 하리라”(요 8:32)
하나님의 말씀은 진리입니다. 진리는 당신을 자유케 하고 하나님의 아들들의 영광스러운 자유 안으로 데려옵니다. 매일 말씀을 들으십시오. 성경을 공부하십시오. 말씀의 실재를 부지런히 공부하고 말씀의 실재에 적혀있는 성경 공부 계획표를 따라 읽으십시오. 당신의 심령을 하나님의 말씀으로 채우십시오. 그러면 당신은 분명 신나고 번영하는 삶을 살게 될 것입니다.
여호수아 1:8은 말합니다. “이 율법책을 네 입에서 떠나지 말게 하며 주야로 그것을 묵상하여 그 안에 기록된 대로 다 지켜 행하라 그리하면 네 길이 평탄하게 될 것이며 네가 형통하리라”(수 1:8) 말씀의 전문가가 되십시오. 매일 24시간 말씀 안에서 사십시오. 그러면 당신은 성공과 영광과 승리의 위대한 삶을 살게 될 것입니다.

기도
사랑하는 아버지, 생명을 주는 하나님의 말씀의 능력에 감사드립니다. 나는 부정적이고 불건전한 정보를 거절하고, 꾸준한 공부와 묵상을 통해 내 마음을 하나님의 진리로 가득 채웁니다. 하나님의 말씀은 내 심령에 모든 지혜로 풍성히 거하며 내 생각, 말, 행동을 형성합니다. 예수 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘.

IT MATTERS WHAT YOU LISTEN TO

“My son, give attention to my words; Incline your ear to my sayings Do not let them depart from your eyes; Keep them in the midst of your heart; For they are life to those who find them, And health to all their flesh” (Proverbs 4:21-22 NKJV).

What you listen to matters. If you listen to the Word of God that lifts your spirit, you’ll be lifted; your life will be improved. The Word of God is life and will keep you healthy if you give it attention as the Scripture says.
You have to learn to reject negative words and information that demean or condemn. Many naturally feel more comfortable with words that condemn them because they recognize their frailties.
Such people live in fear continually, because of their ignorance of the Word of God. As a child of God, you must be different and learn and know the Word of God for yourself. The Lord Jesus said, “And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free” (John 8:32).
The Word of God is truth. Truth liberates you and brings you into the glorious liberty of the sons of God. Listen to the Word every day. Study the Bible. Study Rhapsody of Realities diligently and follow the Bible study guide that it provides. Fill your heart with the Word of God and you’ll most certainly live an exciting and prosperous life.
Joshua 1:8 says, “This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success.” Be a master of the Word. Live in it twenty-four hours every day and you’ll live a great life of success, glory and victory.

PRAYER
Dear Father, I thank you for the life-giving power of your Word. I reject negative and unwholesome information and fill my heart with your truths through consistent study and meditation. Your Word dwells richly in my heart in all wisdom, shaping my thoughts, words, and actions in Jesus’ Name, Amen.

저는 하나님의 말씀을 사랑합니다! 하나님의 말씀은 우리가 삶을 어떻게 살아야 하는지, 주님을 어떻게 섬기고 경배해야 하는지에 대해 항상 분명하게 알려줍니다. 오늘의 본문 구절에 대해 잠시 묵상해 보십시오. 위 구절은 우리가 영으로 하나님을 경배하고 육체를 신뢰하지 아니하므로 할례자라고 말합니다. 다시 말해서, 우리의 경배는 “느낌”이나 육체의 나타남과는 아무 상관이 없습니다.
어떤 사람들은 단지 “기분을 좋게” 만드는 어떤 곡들을 부르며 자신이 축복을 받고 있다고 생각합니다. 그러나 아무리 당신의 기분을 좋게 만들어 줄지라도 비성경적인 노래라면 당신의 삶에 어떤 발전도 만들어내지 못합니다.
예를 들어, “능력, 능력, 오순절의 능력은 오늘도 여전히 여기 있네…”라는 곡이 있습니다. 만일 당신이 이 곡을 좋아하고, 부르고, “몸을 흔들고”, 당신이 축복을 받고 있다고 생각하더라도, 그렇지 않습니다. 성경은 “오순절의 능력”에 대해 그 무엇도 말하지 않습니다. 오순절의 능력 같은 것은 없습니다.
하지만 많은 그리스도인들이 기분이 좋아진다는 이유로 그런 곡을 부릅니다. 기분이 좋은 것과 축복을 받는 것은 같지 않습니다. 축복을 받으면 당신의 삶은 발전합니다. 당신의 삶에 발전이 없더라도 당신의 기분은 좋을 수 있습니다.
어떤 사람들은 자신을 춤추게 하는 음악을 기대하며 교회에 갑니다. 그래서 그들은 하나님을 찬양한다고 생각하면서 땀에 흠뻑 젖을 때까지 춤을 추고 또 춥니다. 육체 안에서 그런 춤을 추면 기분이 좋아질 수도 있지만, 그것이 당신이 축복받는다거나 하나님께서 받아들이셨다는 의미는 아닙니다.
참된 경배는 영으로, 영 안에서 드리는 것입니다. 우리가 오늘의 본문 구절에서 읽은 내용을 떠올려 보십시오. 이는 주 예수님께서 요한복음 4:23에서 하신 말씀과 비슷합니다. “아버지께 참되게 예배하는 자들은 영과 진리로 예배할 때가 오나니 곧 이 때라 아버지께서는 자기에게 이렇게 예배하는 자들을 찾으시느니라”
주님께서 “아버지께서 무도장에서 온 힘을 다하고 땀을 흘리며 춤추는 자들을 찾으신다”고 말씀하지 않으셨음에 주목하십시오. 참된 경배는 하나님의 말씀과 성령으로 말미암아 드립니다.
따라서 하나님을 찬양할 때 당신의 심령을 그분께 맞추십시오. 하나님께 그분의 이름을 영광스럽게 하는 말, 즉 그분의 인격, 성품, 사랑, 은혜, 부드러운 자비, 거룩함, 의로움, 위대함과 일치하는 말을 하십시오. 바로 그것이 당신을 축복하고 당신의 삶에 변화를 불러옵니다.

사랑하는 아버지, 하나님의 말씀과 뜻에 일치하는 마음으로 영과 진리로 하나님을 경배할 수 있는 특권, 축복, 기회를 주시니 감사합니다. 아버지의 이름을 영광스럽게 하는 찬양의 말을 할 수 있는 것이 얼마나 영광스러운 일인지요! 주님은 만유의 왕이시요, 유일하신 참되고 의로우신 하나님이십니다. 나는 오늘 그리고 항상 주님을 사랑합니다. 아멘.

“FEELING GOOD” DOESN’T MEAN BEING BLESSED

“For we are the circumcision, which worship God in the spirit, and rejoice in Christ Jesus, and have no confidence in the flesh” (Philippians 3:3).

I love the Word of God! It’s always so clear as to how we’re to live our lives, how to serve and worship the Lord. Ponder for a moment what we just read in our theme scripture. It says we’re the circumcision that worship God in the spirit, and have no confidence in the flesh. In other words, our worship has nothing to do with “feelings” or the manifestations of the flesh.
Some people sing certain songs that only make them “feel good” and they think they’re being blessed. Any unscriptural song, no matter how good it makes you feel, doesn’t bring any improvement to your life.
For example, the song, “The power, the power, the Pentecostal power is still here today….” If you like, sing it and “shake” and think you’re being blessed; you’re not. The Bible doesn’t say anything about “Pentecostal power”; there’s no such thing as Pentecostal power.
But a good number of Christians sing such songs because it makes them “feel good.” Feeling good and being blessed aren’t the same. When you’re blessed, your life is improved. You can feel good without your life being improved.
Some go to church looking forward to music that makes them dance. So, they dance and dance until they’re drenched in sweat, thinking they’re praising God. Such dancing in the flesh may make you feel good, it doesn’t mean you’re blessed and that God accepts it.
True worship is of the spirit and in the spirit; not in the flesh. Recall what we read in our theme verse. It parallels the words of the Lord Jesus in John 4:23, “But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him.”
Notice the Master didn’t say, “The Father seeks those who will dance with all their might and sweat on the dance floor.” True worship is done according to the Word of God and by the Holy Spirit.
So when you praise God, let your heart be attuned to Him. Offer to Him words that glorify His Name—words that are consistent with His person, His character and love, His grace, tender-mercies, holiness, righteousness and greatness. That’s what blesses you and brings transformation to your life.

PRAYER
Dear Father, I thank you for the privilege, blessing and opportunities to worship you in spirit and in truth, with a heart that is aligned with your Word and your will. What an honour it is to offer words of praise that glorify your Name; you’re the great King of all, the only true and righteous God. I love you now and always. Amen.

“할렐루야, 여호와를 경외하며 그의 계명을 크게 즐거워하는 자는 복이 있도다 그의 후손이 땅에서 강성함이여 정직한 자들의 후손에게 복이 있으리로다 부와 재물이 그의 집에 있음이여 그의 공의가 영구히 서 있으리로다”(시 112:1-3)

성경이 말하는 내용에 주목해 보십시오. 주님을 경외하며 그분의 말씀을 크게 즐거워하는 자는 복이 있습니다. 그뿐 아니라 부와 재물이 그의 집에 있고, 그의 의가 영원히 있을 것이라 말합니다. 부, 재물, 그리고 의는 그리스도께 속한 사람의 유업입니다.
이는 당신이 부자라면 의로울 수 없다는 잘못된 믿음이 완전히 틀렸음을 알려줍니다. 하나님께서는 그리스도를 통해 그분의 자녀들을 부유하게 만드셨습니다. 많은 그리스도인의 삶은 반대일 수도 있지만, 그 사실이 하나님의 진리를 무효화하지 않습니다.
말씀을 있는 그대로 받아들인 우리는 다른 실재를 가지고 있습니다. 그리스도 안에서 우리는 부와 재물과 의를 가지고 있습니다. 바로 하나님께서 그리스도 안에서 우리에게 주신 생명입니다.
오늘날 전 세계 많은 사람들의 문제는 무지입니다. 많은 사람들이 하나님의 말씀을 정확하게 배운 적이 없습니다. 그래서 그들은 그리스도 안에 있는 영광스러운 유업의 실재 안에서 살기 위해 말씀을 적용하는 방법을 모르고 있습니다.
하나님의 말씀의 빛 가운데 살기로 결단하십시오. 그리스도 안에서의 당신의 번영은 하나님의 말씀과 연결되어 있기 때문입니다. 당신이 정말로 부자가 되는 것에 관심이 없더라도 하나님께서는 당신이 다른 사람들을 부자로 만들 수 있도록 정하셨습니다. 사도 바울은 말했습니다. “근심하는 자 같으나 항상 기뻐하고 가난한 자 같으나 많은 사람을 부요하게 하고 아무 것도 없는 자 같으나 모든 것을 가진 자로다”(고후 6:10)

WEALTH, RICHES & RIGHTEOUSNESS

“Praise ye the LORD. Blessed is the man that feareth the LORD, that delighteth greatly in his commandments. His seed shall be mighty upon earth: the generation of the upright shall be blessed. Wealth and riches shall be in his house: and his righteousness endureth forever” (Psalm 112:1-3).

Notice what the Bible says: the one who reveres the Lord and delights greatly in His Word is blessed. And not only that, wealth and riches shall be in his house, and his righteousness endures forever. Wealth, riches and righteousness are the heritage of the one who belongs to Christ.
This completely debunks the erroneous belief that if you’re rich you can’t be righteous. God has made His children rich, through Christ. The lives of many Christians may somewhat be in antithesis with this, but it doesn’t negate God’s truth.
Those of us who have accepted His Word as it is have a different reality. In Christ we have wealth, riches and righteousness. It’s the life God has given us in Him.
The bane of many around the world today is ignorance; many have never been accurately taught the Word of God. Therefore, they don’t know how to apply it in order to walk in the reality of their glorious inheritance in Christ.
Make up your mind that you’re going to walk in the light of God’s Word as it relates to your prosperity in Christ. Even if you really didn’t care about being rich, He ordained that you should be able to make others rich, well, said the Apostle Paul, “As sorrowful, yet alway rejoicing; as poor, yet making many rich; as having nothing, and yet possessing all things” (2 Corinthians 6:10).
Locate yourself in the plans and purposes of God so you can have His will fulfilled in your life. He said, “Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth” (3 John 1:2).

PRAYER
Dear Father, I thank you for your Word of truth about my wealth, riches and righteousness. As I walk in the light of your Word and apply its principles, the blessings of the Kingdom are manifested in my life; I walk in financial abundance and manifest fruits of righteousness, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

God Saw It

“무슨 일을 하든지 마음을 다하여 주께 하듯 하고 사람에게 하듯 하지 말라 이는 기업의 상을 주께 받을 줄 아나니 너희는 주 그리스도를 섬기느니라”(골 3:23-24)

당신은 매일 어떻게 살고 있습니까? 하나님께서 당신의 모든 행위와 마음의 생각을 보신다는 것을 알고 있습니까? 당신은 아무도 보지 못했을 것이라고 생각하는 일을 했을 수도 있습니다. 그러나 하나님은 그 일을 보셨습니다. 하나님은 모든 일을 보십니다.
그래서 성경은 우리가 섬길 때 사람이 아닌 주께 하듯 섬겨야 한다고 말합니다. 주변 사람들이 당신의 수고와 근면함을 보지 못하더라도 하나님께서는 보십니다. 하나님은 아십니다.
당신이 식당 직원으로 일하면서 매일 사장 몰래 음식을 집에 가져갔다고 상상해 보십시오. 당신이 마음속으로 “어차피 남은 음식이야. 게다가 내가 가져가는 걸 본 사람도 아무도 없었어!”라고 생각합니다. 그러나 하나님께서 당신을 보셨습니다!
하나님께서 그런 행동들에 대해 어떻게 생각하십니까? 그런 행동들은 잘못된 행동들입니다. 마치 어떤 조직에서 일하다가 일을 망쳐놓고 상사에게 숨기는 것과 같습니다. 그렇지만 하나님께는 숨길 수 없습니다. 당신이 하는 모든 일을 주님께 하듯 해야 합니다.
어떤 일이 옳지 않은 것을 알면서도 당신이 그 일을 옳은 일처럼 나타낸다면 성경은 당신에게 그것이 죄라고 말합니다.
누가 보든지 상관없이 항상 올바르게 살기로 결단하십시오. 하나님께서 보고 계신다는 것이 중요합니다. 성경은 말합니다. “지으신 것이 하나도 그 앞에 나타나지 않음이 없고 우리의 결산을 받으실 이의 눈 앞에 만물이 벌거벗은 것 같이 드러나느니라”(히 4:13)

기도
사랑하는 아버지, 모든 은밀한 일까지도 심판하실 줄 알며 아버지께 감사하고 아버지의 말씀을 따릅니다. 나는 날마다 성실함, 정직함, 진심으로 살며 사람에게 하듯 하지 않고 주께 하듯 합니다. 나는 내 생각과 말과 행동에서 항상 말씀 안에서 그리고 말씀으로 말미암아 아버지를 기쁘시게 합니다. 예수 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘.

GOD SAW IT

“And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men; Knowing that of the Lord ye shall receive the reward of the inheritance: for ye serve the Lord Christ” (Colossians 3:23-24).

How do you live your life every day? Are you aware that all your actions, including the thoughts of your heart, are seen by God? So, you may have done something that you thought no one noticed; but God saw it. He sees everything.
That’s why the Bible says when we serve, we should serve as unto to the Lord and not unto men. Those around you may not notice your hard work and diligence, but God sees it. He knows.
Imagine that you worked as an attendant in a restaurant, and every day, you took some food home without the knowledge of your employer. But in your mind, your thought, “It’s leftovers anyway; moreover, nobody saw me take it!” God saw you!
What does God think about such actions? They’re wrong. It’s like when you work in an organization and then you muddle things up and hide them from your boss; but you can’t hide them from God. Everything you do must be unto the Lord.
If you know that something isn’t right and you present it as though it’s right, the Bible says, to you, it is sin.
Make up your mind that you’d be forthright, and walk uprightly at all times irrespective of who’s watching. The most important thing is that God is watching. The Bible says, “Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in his sight: but all things are naked and opened unto the eyes of him with whom we have to do” (Hebrews 4:13).

PRAYER
Dear Father, I thank you, and keep your Word, knowing that you shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing. I live each day with integrity, honesty, and sincerity of heart, doing everything as unto you and not unto men. I please you always in and by the Word, in my thoughts, words and actions, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Wisdom To Discern Right From Wrong

“그러므로 사람이 선을 행할 줄 알고도 행하지 아니하면 죄니라”(약 4:17)

오늘의 본문 구절은 매우 놀라운 사실을 보여줍니다. 만일 당신이 옳은 일을 행할 줄 알면서도 행하지 않는다면 그것은 당신에게 죄입니다. 다른 사람에게는 죄가 아닐 수도 있지만 당신은 그것이 옳은 일인 줄 알았기 때문에 당신에게는 죄가 됩니다. 이것은 하나님의 백성이 그들의 삶에서 신성한 지혜의 역사와 인도를 이해해야 하는 주된 이유 중 하나입니다.
지혜는 옳고 그름을 판단하고 분별할 수 있는 능력을 줍니다. 지혜는 당신이 악으로부터 의를 구별할 수 있게 도와줍니다. 하나님의 말씀에서 말하는 지혜에는 크게 세 가지 종류가 있는데, 그리스어로 “소피아”, “수네시스”, 그리고 “프로네시스”입니다.
“소피아”는 이론적 지혜입니다. 하나님께서 주시는 실재에 대한 통찰력입니다. “수네시스”는 이해력, 지각, 이해입니다. 개념들을 이해하고 그 개념 사이의 관계성을 볼 수 있는 능력입니다. 이는 행동하기 전에 우선으로 있어야 하는 빠른 이해, 예리한 생각을 뜻합니다.
그러나 우리가 지혜를 옳고 그름을 판단하고 분별하는 능력이라고 할 때, 우리는 실천적 지혜인 “프로네시스”를 말하는 것입니다. “프로네시스”는 사고방식, 즉 의인의 사고방식입니다. 이것은 힘입니다. 우리가 지혜를 힘이라고 말한다면, 그것이 바로 “프로네시스”입니다. 우리는 “프로네시스”를 말하고 있습니다!
“프로네시스”는 당신의 이성을 넘어서 하나님의 뜻 안에 존재하려는 성향입니다. 당신의 이해를 넘어서는 하나님의 뜻의 체계나 범위 안에 자신이 있게 하는 특별한 영적 묘약입니다. “프로네시스”는 당신이 있어야 할 곳에 당신이 있게 합니다. 그것은 당신이 먼저 판단할 필요도 없이 당신이 해야 할 일을 하게 합니다. “프로네시스”가 당신의 시스템 안에 사고방식을 만들어두었기 때문입니다. 바르게 말하고, 바르게 생각하고, 바르게 살고, 바른 일을 하는 것은 당신의 기본 설정값입니다. 프로그래밍 되어있는 것입니다.
그러므로 “소피아”로 무엇이 옳은지 알고도 행하지 않는다면 이는 당신이 “프로네시스”가 부족하다는 뜻입니다. “프로네시스”는 프로펠러와 같습니다. 다른 사람들은 보지 못하지만 당신이 봐야만 하는 것을 보게 도와줍니다. 아름다운 점은 당신이 의식적이고 지속적인 하나님의 말씀에 대한 묵상을 통해 스스로를 “프로네시스” 안에서 기능하도록 발전시킬 수 있다는 사실입니다.

WISDOM TO DISCERN RIGHT FROM WRONG

“Therefore to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin” (James 4:17).

Our opening scripture reveals something quite striking. It says if you know the right thing to do and don’t do it, to you, it’s a sin. That thing may not be a sin to someone else but it is a sin to you because you knew it was the right thing to do but you didn’t do it. This is one major reason God’s people need to understand the workings and guidance of divine wisdom in their lives.
Wisdom gives you the ability to decide and discern right from wrong. Wisdom helps you distinguish righteousness from evil. There’re three major kinds of wisdom the Word of God talks about, and the Greek words for them are “Sophia,” “Sunesis” and “Phronesis.”
“Sophia” is theoretical wisdom; the insight that God gives you into reality. “Sunesis” is comprehension, perception, understanding; the ability to understand concepts and see relationships between them. It suggests quickness of apprehension, the penetrating consideration which precedes action.
But when we say wisdom is the ability to decide and discern right from wrong, we’re referring to “Phronesis,” which is practical wisdom. “Phronesis” is a mindset, the mindset of the righteous; it’s a force. When we say wisdom is a force, that’s it! We’re referring to “Phronesis!”
“Phronesis” is that disposition of being in the will of God beyond your reasoning. It’s a special spiritual elixir that locates you within the framework or ambits of God’s will beyond your understanding. It locates you in the places where you ought to be; it causes you to do the things you ought to do without having to reason them out first, because it has created a mindset within your system. It’s your default setting to only talk right, think right, live right, and do right. It’s a programming.
If therefore you know what is right by “Sophia” and you don’t do it, then it means you lack “Phronesis.” “Phronesis” is a propeller. It helps you see what you should see that others may not see. The beautiful thing is, you can develop yourself to function always in “Phronesis” through conscious and constant meditation on the Word of God.

PRAYER
Dear Father, as I yield myself to the guidance of your Spirit, I function with an increased manifestation of practical wisdom—the mindset of the righteous. I’m programmed to think, talk, live and act right, and walk consistently in the light of your Word, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

The True Meaning Of Christ

“예수께서 제자들 앞에서 이 책에 기록되지 아니한 다른 표적도 많이 행하셨으나 오직 이것을 기록함은 너희로 예수께서 하나님의 아들 그리스도이심을 믿게 하려 함이요 또 너희로 믿고 그 이름을 힘입어 생명을 얻게 하려 함이니라”(요 20:30-31)

우리가 방금 읽은 오늘의 본문 구절은 매우 놀라운 사실을 알려줍니다. 성경에 기록된 예수님의 특별한 기적들은 한 가지 목적을 가지고 있습니다. 바로 예수님이 하나님의 아들 그리스도이심을 믿게 하려는 것입니다. “예수님이 그리스도이십니다”라는 말이 의미하는 바는 무엇입니까?
“그리스도”라는 단어는 그리스어에서 영어로 번역되었으며, 유대인들이 “메시아”로 이해한 내용을 정확히 담지는 못합니다. 이는 그리스인들이 왕국에 대한 메시지를 가지고 있지 않았기 때문입니다. 그러나 유대인들은 그리스도라는 단어가 기름부음 받은 자라는 말보다 더 많은 의미를 갖고 있음을 알았습니다. 그리스도란 실제로 육신 안에 계신 하나님을 의미합니다.
많은 사람들이 가볍게 받아들인 이 내용이 예수님을 죽인 것입니다. 예수님께서 하나님의 아들이라고 주장하셨기 때문입니다. 이는 그분께서 육신으로 나타난 하나님이라는 뜻입니다. 그리고 예수님이 옳았습니다. 바로 그것이 그리스도의 의미입니다. 마가복음 14:60-64에서 예수님께서 대제사장 가야바 앞에서 재판을 받으실 때 많은 거짓 증인들이 나서서 예수님을 고발했습니다. 그러나 그들의 증언은 상충하였습니다.
마침내 대제사장이 예수님께 직접 물었습니다. “… 네가 찬송 받을 이의 아들 그리스도냐”(막 14:61) 예수님께서 다음과 같이 대답하셨습니다. “… 내가 그니라 인자가 권능자의 우편에 앉은 것과 하늘 구름을 타고 오는 것을 너희가 보리라 하시니”(막 14:62) 대제사장은 분노하며 자신의 옷을 찢고, 예수님을 신성모독죄로 고발했습니다.
결과적으로 예수님께서는 사형선고를 받으셨습니다. 그들은 예수님을 강도죄로 고발했습니다. 하나님의 자리를 탈취했다는 것이었습니다. 그들은 “선한 일로 말미암아 우리가 너를 돌로 치려는 것이 아니라 신성모독으로 인함이니 네가 사람이 되어 자칭 하나님이라 함이로라”(요 10:33)고 말했습니다. 그러나 성경은 “그는 근본 하나님의 본체시나 하나님과 동등됨을 취할 것으로 여기지 아니하시고”(빌 2:6) 라고 말합니다.

THE TRUE MEANING OF CHRIST

“And many other signs truly did Jesus in the presence of his disciples, which are not written in this book: But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God…” (John 20:30-31).

What we just read points out something absolutely remarkable; it says the specific miracles of Jesus that are recorded in the Bible have a singular purpose: to engender belief in Jesus as the Christ, the Son of God. What exactly does the expression “Jesus is the Christ” mean?
The word “Christ” was translated from the Greek language into English, and it doesn’t properly capture what the Jews understood as “The Messiah.” This is understandable, because the Greeks didn’t have the message of the Kingdom. So, the Jews knew that the word Christ meant far more than the Anointed One; it actually means God in the flesh.
This claim, which many take so lightly, was what they killed Jesus for. Jesus claimed to be the Son of God, meaning that He was God’s manifestation in the flesh. And He was right. That’s the meaning of Christ. In Mark 14:60-64, during Jesus’ trial before the high priest Caiaphas, many false witnesses came forward with accusations against Him, but their testimonies didn’t align.
Finally, the high priest asked Jesus directly, “…Art thou the Christ, the Son of the Blessed?” (Mark 14:61). Jesus responded, “…I am: and ye shall see the Son of man sitting on the right hand of power, and coming in the clouds of heaven” (Mark 14:62). The Chief Priest became furious and tore his clothes, and accused Jesus of blasphemy.
Consequently, Jesus was condemned to death. They accused Him of robbery; that is, robbing God of His place. They said, “For a good work we stone thee not; but for blasphemy; and because that thou, being a man, makest thyself God” (John 10:33). But the Bible says, “Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God”; (Philippians 2:6); because He is Himself God
John 1:14 says, “And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.” 1 Timothy 3:16 says, “God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.” That’s Jesus, the Christ. Hallelujah!

PRAYER
Dear Lord Jesus, you are the Christ; God manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory, and also soon to be revealed at your glorious return to earth. Your Name is exalted in my life and proclaimed in all the nations as the only true God. Amen!

Wisdom With Increased Capacity

“또 어려서부터 성경을 알았나니 성경은 능히 너로 하여금 그리스도 예수 안에 있는 믿음으로 말미암아 구원에 이르는 지혜가 있게 하느니라”(딤후 3:15)

하나님의 지혜는 하나님의 말씀에 압축되어 있습니다. 하나님의 지혜는 모든 것을 아우르며 삶의 모든 분야에서 당신을 인도합니다. 잠언 4:7은 지혜의 중요성을 강조하며 당신의 삶에서 가장 먼저 추구할 것을 권면합니다. “지혜가 제일이니 지혜를 얻으라 네가 얻은 모든 것을 가지고 명철을 얻을지니라”
오늘의 본문 구절을 보면 성경은 우리를 구원에 이르도록 지혜롭게 하는 독특한 능력을 가지고 있습니다. 이것은 당신이 반드시 말씀을 묵상해야 하는 이유 중 하나입니다. 여호수아 1:8은 말합니다. “이 율법책을 네 입술에서 떠나지 않게 하며, 밤낮으로 그것을 묵상하고, 그것을 관찰하여 기록된 대로 행하라. 그러면 네가 너의 길을 번영하게 만들 것이며, 지혜롭게 행하고, 좋은 성공을 하게 될 것이다.”(확대번역본)

당신이 말씀에 푹 잠겨 그 진리를 소화하고 자신의 영에 스며들게 할 때, 말씀은 당신을 훨씬 더 지혜롭게 하고 당신의 역량과 능력을 증가시킬 것입니다. 베드로후서 1:2 말씀을 떠올려 보십시오. “하나님과 우리 주 예수를 앎으로 은혜와 평강이 너희에게 더욱 많을지어다”
배가되거나 증가된 은혜는 하나님께서 당신에게 더 많은 책임을 맡기실 수 있다는 것을 의미합니다. 당신이 더 지혜로워졌기 때문입니다. 하나님께서는 당신 안에 역사하는 그분의 지혜의 결과를 아십니다. 당신은 건전한 판단과 선택을 내리게 될 것입니다.

WISDOM WITH INCREASED CAPACITY

“And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus” (2 Timothy 3:15).

The wisdom of God is encapsulated in His Word; it is all-encompassing and will guide you through every aspect of life. Proverbs 4:7 emphasizes the importance of wisdom, making it the primary pursuit in your life. It says, “Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding.”
The Scriptures, as read in our theme verse, have the unique ability to make us wise unto salvation. It’s one reason you must meditate on the Word. Joshua 1:8 AMPC says, “This Book of the Law shall not depart out of your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, that you may observe and do according to all that is written in it. For then you shall make your way prosperous, and then you shall deal wisely and have good success.”
Notice that it says meditating on the Word will make you prosperous, and cause you to deal wisely; that means it’ll make you discerning and sound. Colossians 3:16, “Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.”
As you immerse yourself in the Word, digesting its truths and allowing it to permeate your spirit, the Word will make you several steps wiser and broaden your capacity and capability. It reminds of what the Bible says in 2 Peter 1:2, “Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord.”
Multiplied or increased grace means God can entrust you with even greater responsibilities because you’re wiser. He knows that as a result of His wisdom at work in you, you’ll make sound judgments and choices.

PRAYER
Dear Father, I thank you for the wisdom found in your Word. As I give attention to the Scriptures, I open myself to a continuous impartation of divine wisdom. The Word guides my choices and actions. I have uncommon insight; a clear, deep, and sudden understanding of concepts, subjects, situations and mysteries, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

DISTINCT PURPOSES OF THE FIVE-FOLD MINISTRY GIFTS

“And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:” (Ephesians 4:11-12).

The apostle Paul highlights the clear purpose of the five-fold ministry gifts in the Body of Christ. They’re for the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, and for the edifying of the body of Christ.”
Some Bible translations wrongly assume that the passage presents a single unified purpose, extending from the first line to the last, due to the lack of punctuation in the manuscripts. However, a closer examination, supported by contextual analysis and comparison with other scriptures reveals distinct purposes outlined by Paul.
Some other Bible translations wrongly phrased the statement as, “for the perfecting of the saints, so that the saints can do the work of the ministry, which is the edifying of the Body of Christ.” But that’s a misconception. Three distinct purposes for the ministry gifts are, first, to perfect or equip the saints.
Secondly, they’re for the work of the ministry itself. Thirdly, they are for the edification of the Body of Christ. So, it’s not stating that the saints themselves will edify the Body of Christ, but rather, the five-fold offices listed in verse 11 are responsible for building up the Body of Christ.
Of course, when every part of the Body functions as it should, the entire Body is edified. Ephesians 4:16 (NIV) tells us, “From him the whole body, joined and held together by every supporting ligament, grows and builds itself up in love, as each part does its work.”
Also, Colossians 2:19 says, “And not holding the Head, from which all the body by joints and bands having nourishment ministered, and knit together, increaseth with the increase of God.” However, in Ephesians 4, Paul directs attention to the distinct purposes assigned to ministry gifts for equipping the saints, the work of the ministry, and building up the Church.

PRAYER
Dear Father, I’m equipped, edified, and built up in the Body of Christ through the ministry gifts. I don’t walk in darkness, weakness, or live in stagnation, for I’m always fruitful, productive, and always abounding in every good work. Amen.

“주의 말씀은 내 발에 등이요 내 길에 빛이니이다”(시 119:105)

많은 사람이 영적인 일에 무지하므로 삶에서 위기를 겪고 혼란 속에 살아갑니다. 그러므로 영적인 감각을 키우는 것이 중요합니다. 그러기 위해서 당신은 하나님의 마음을 알기 위해 말씀을 공부하고 이해해야 합니다.
디모데후서 2:15은 말합니다. “너는 진리의 말씀을 옳게 분별하며 부끄러울 것이 없는 일꾼으로 인정된 자로 자신을 하나님 앞에 드리기를 힘쓰라” 또한 말씀을 공부하면서 말씀을 따라 즉시 행하도록 스스로 훈련하십시오. 우리는 말씀을 행하는 사람들이기 때문에 이는 모든 그리스도인에게 자연스러운 일이어야 합니다(약 1:22).

BUILDING SPIRITUAL SENSITIVITYV

“Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path” (Psalm 119:105).

There’re many who are ignorant of spiritual matters, and for that reason, they’re buffeted by the crises of life and walk on in confusion. So, it’s important to build your spiritual sensitivity. For that to happen, you’ve got to study and understand the Word, to know the mind of God.
2 Timothy 2:15 says, “Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.” Also, as you study the Word, train yourself to act on it promptly. This should be natural for every Christian because we’re doers of the Word (James 1:22).
By responding promptly to the Word of God, you condition your spirit to recognize the effect of the Word in your life. That way, when you face challenges, you respond with the Word; you voice your faith. This practice trains your spirit to consistently align and respond to God rather than succumbing to the dictates of the flesh.
Also, in training yourself to be more spiritually sensitive you must be filled with the Spirit every day. Incorporate praying in the Spirit into your spiritual routine. 1 Corinthians 14:14 says, “For if I pray in an unknown tongue, my spirit prayeth, but my understanding is unfruitful.”
Praying in tongues or praying in the Spirit enhances your spiritual sensitivity as it involves the Holy Spirit providing utterance to your spirit. When you speak in tongues, it’s the Holy Spirit guiding your spirit’s expressions. Your spirit, through this process, learns to function under the guidance of the Holy Spirit, contributing significantly to an increased sensitivity to God’s leading.

CONFESSION
As I study and meditate on the Word, my spirit is conditioned to respond swiftly to God’s Word, His guidance, promptings, ideas and thoughts. Also, my spiritual sensitivity is increased and heightened because I’m full of the Spirit always, praying in the Holy Ghost. I’m perceptive, insightful, filled with the Spirit of wisdom for revelation, to know and walk in the perfect will of God today and always, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Your Service Means Much To God

“심는 이와 물 주는 이는 한가지이나 각각 자기가 일한 대로 자기의 상을 받으리라 우리는 하나님의 동역자들이요 너희는 하나님의 밭이요 하나님의 집이니라”(고전 3:8-9)

하나님의 집에서 당신이 갖는 모든 섬김의 기회는 매우 중요하며 하나님께 큰 의미가 있습니다. 하나님께서는 당신에게 맡기신 일과 임무에 대해 책임을 물으실 것입니다.
그러므로 성실하게 주님을 섬기고 근면함, 선함, 탁월함, 정직한 마음으로 주님의 일을 행하십시오. 성경은 말합니다. “이는 우리가 다 반드시 그리스도의 심판대 앞에 나타나게 되어 각각 선악간에 그 몸으로 행한 것을 따라 받으려 함이라”(고후 5:10)
종종 우리는 어떤 활동, 프로젝트, 일 등에 참여할 때 자신의 행동이 실제로 어떤 영향력이나 효과가 있는지 의식하지 못합니다. 자신의 행동이 매일 하나님께 전달되는 메시지라는 사실을 아는 사람은 많지 않습니다.
당신의 삶이 메시지이고, 당신이 한 모든 말과 행동이 기록된다는 것을 인식한다면, 당신은 더욱 목적 있는 삶을 살 것입니다. 하나님은 당신 삶의 이야기의 저자이십니다. 그분은 당신이 자신만의 이야기를 만들어가는 일에 적극적인 역할을 맡기 전에도 당신을 향한 계획을 가지고 계셨습니다.
당신을 향한 하나님의 계획과 당신이 실제로 살았던 삶을 비교할 날이 올 것이며, 당신의 보상은 당신의 삶이 얼마나 하나님의 신성한 계획과 일치했는지에 따라 결정될 것입니다. 그러므로 당신을 향한 하나님의 목적을 성취하는 것에 집중하십시오.
주님께서 당신에게 어떤 능력을 주셨든지, 주님을 섬기는 일은 그 무엇과도 비교할 수 없는 영예를 지니고 이 땅의 어떤 업적보다도 뛰어납니다. 하나님의 집에서 당신이 맡은 역할이 무엇이든 상관없이 전세계 영혼구원을 위해 성령으로 말미암아 영감을 받은 팀워크, 단체적인 노력이라는 것을 항상 기억하십시오.
부지런하고 탁월하게 하나님의 집에서 맡은 책임을 계속 행하십시오. 영혼구원자가 되십시오. 다른 사람을 중보하는 일에 헌신하십시오. 우리 모두는 전 세계 사람들의 삶에 영향을 미치고 그들을 변화시키기 위해 성령님을 통해 창조된 조직의 필수적인 부분을 맡고 있습니다.

기도
사랑하는 아버지, 하나님의 왕국에서 섬길 수 있는 기회를 주시니 감사합니다. 나는 하나님께서 맡기신 기회의 신실한 청지기입니다. 따라서 나의 섬김은 하나님의 이름에 영광을 돌리고, 이 땅에 하나님의 왕국을 확장시킵니다. 예수 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘.

YOUR SERVICE MEANS MUCH TO GOD

“Now he that planteth and he that watereth are one: and every man shall receive his own reward according to his own labour. For we are labourers together with God: ye are God’s husbandry, ye are God’s building” (1 Corinthians 3:8-9).

Every opportunity of service that you have in the house of God is profoundly significant and holds great meaning to God. He’s going to hold you accountable for the work and tasks He assigned to you.
So serve the Lord dutifully, and do all that you do for Him with diligence, excellence and integrity of heart. The Bible says, “For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad” (2 Corinthians 5:10).
Oftentimes, when we are involved in something, whether an activity or project, we may not be conscious of the actual impact or effects of our actions. Not many realize that their actions are a message every day for which they must give an account to God.
When you’re conscious that your life is a message, and that every word spoken and every deed performed is recorded, you’ll live more purposefully. God is the author of your life’s narrative. He has a pre-existing plan for you, yet you play an active role in crafting your own story.
The day will come when a comparison will be made between God’s intended plan for you and the life you actually lived, and your reward will be determined by how closely your life aligned with His divine plan. Thus, pay close attention to fulfilling God’s purpose for your life.
Serving the Lord, in whatever capacity he puts you, holds unparalleled honour and surpasses any earthly achievement. Always remember this: your role in the house of God, irrespective of what it is, is part of a collective effort—a teamwork inspired by the Spirit to win souls globally.
Keep carrying out your responsibilities in the house of God with diligence and excellence. Be a soul winner. Be committed to interceding for others. Each one of us is a necessary part of the machinery created through the Holy Spirit to impact and transform lives around the world.

PRAYER
Dear Father, I thank you for the privilege and opportunity of service in the Kingdom. I’m a faithful steward of the opportunities you’ve entrusted to me. Therefore, my service brings glory to your Name and advances your kingdom on earth, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
