성령님은 당신 안에 사시려고 오셨습니다
HE CAME TO LIVE IN YOU

“그는 진리의 영이라 세상은 능히 그를 받지 못하나니 이는 그를 보지도 못하고 알지도 못함이라 그러나 너희는 그를 아나니 그는 너희와 함께 거하심이요 또 너희 속에 계시겠음이라”(요 14:17)

주 예수님은 영광스럽게 승천하시기 직전에 제자들에게 성령님의 인격에 대해 가르치셨습니다. 예수님은 제자들에게 성령님이 그들 안에 계실 것이라고 말했습니다. “오직 성령이 너희에게 임하시면 너희가 권능을 받고 예루살렘과 온 유대와 사마리아와 땅 끝까지 이르러 내 증인이 되리라 하시니라”(행 1:8) 오순절 날 이후로 성령님은 그들 안에 사시기 위해 오셨습니다. 즉 그분은 그들 안에 살려는 목적으로 그들에게 임하셨던 것입니다.
구약에서 솔로몬이 하나님의 성전을 건설한 후 성전 봉헌식을 할 때, 하나님의 임재가 그곳에 임했습니다(대하 5:13-14). 하나님은 성전을 자신의 것으로 삼기 위해 그곳에 임하셔서 그 안으로 들어오셔야 했습니다. 하지만 그분은 그것으로 만족하지 않으셨습니다. 사도행전 7:48은 “그러나 지극히 높으신 이는 손으로 지은 곳에 계시지 아니하시나니…”라고 말씀합니다. 또 하나님은 잠언 8:31(한글 킹제임스)에서 “…나의 기쁨이 사람의 아들들과 더불어 있었느니라”고 말씀하셨습니다. 기독교의 본질은 당신 안에 계신 그리스도이십니다. 이는 예수님이 가져오셔서 가능하게 하신 것입니다.
당신이 거듭났을 때, 하나님은 당신을 그분의 소유로 삼으셨습니다. 당신은 그분의 제물이자 살아있는 성전이 된 것입니다. 그 순간 이후로, 당신은 그분께 성별되어 그분과 하나가 되었습니다. 그분은 당신의 그릇인 몸을 거룩하게 해서 그분의 처소가 되게 하셨습니다. 당신은 하나님이 거하는 처소입니다. 실제로 그분은 당신 안에 사십니다. 그렇기 때문에 그분은 당신을 통해 말씀하시고, 당신 안에서 거니십니다(고후 6:16). 그분은 당신 안에서 그리고 당신을 통해 자신을 나타내십니다.
영광의 위대한 하나님 곧 우주의 통치자가 당신 안에 산다는 것을 생각해 보십시오! 그분은 자신의 형상과 모양을 따라 당신을 창조하였으므로 당신은 그분의 영으로 충만해질 수 있습니다. 이 얼마나 큰 축복이며 특권입니까! 항상 성령님을 존중하십시오. 당신의 삶 속에서 그분의 임재에 감사드리고 찬양하십시오. 그분과 자주 교제를 가지면 당신의 삶에는 끝없는 축복과 초자연적인 일이 일어날 것입니다.

기도
사랑하는 아버지, 제 안에 계신 성령님의 임재에 감사드립니다. 저는 하나님으로 충만합니다. 그러므로 제 안에는 아픔과 질병과 분노와 질투나 그 어떤 어둠의 것들이 있을 곳이 없습니다. 저는 빛으로 가득하며, 저의 세상을 밝게 비춥니다. 저는 결코 혼자가 아닙니다. 성령님이 영원히 제 안에 그리고 저와 함께 계시기 때문입니다. 그분은 필요할 때마다 저를 도우시는 분이십니다! 할렐루야!

HE CAME TO LIVE IN YOU

Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you (John 14:17).

Just before His glorious levitation into heaven, the  Lord  Jesus  lectured  His  disciples  on  the person of the Holy Spirit. He told them that the Holy Spirit would be in them: “But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part  of  the  earth”  (Acts  1:8).  And  from  the  day  of Pentecost, the Holy Spirit came upon them, to live in them; He came upon them for the purpose of living in them.
In  the  Old  Testament,  Solomon  built  God  a temple,  and  at  the  dedication  of  the  temple,  the presence of God came upon it (2 Chronicles 5:13-
14). God had to come upon and into that temple to make it His own. But He wasn’t satisfied. Acts 7:48 says, “Howbeit the most High dwelleth not in temples made with hands….” He had said in Proverbs 8:31, “…and my delights were with the sons of men.” This is the essence of Christianity: Christ in you. It’s what Jesus brought, and made possible.
When you were born again, God made you His own; you became His offspring and His living temple. From that moment, you were sanctified unto Him and became one with Him. He sanctified your vessel, your body, to become His house. You’re God’s dwelling place; He actually does live in you. And because He lives in you, He speaks through you and walks in you (2 Corinthians  6:16). He manifests  Himself  in  and through you.
Think  about  it:  the  great  God  of  glory,  the Monarch of the universe, lives in you! He created you in His image and in His likeness to make it possible for you to be filled with His Spirit. What a blessing! What a privilege! Always honour the Spirit; appreciate and celebrate His presence in your life. Fellowship with Him often, and your life will be an endless stream of blessings and the supernatural.

PRAYER
Dear Father, I thank you for the presence of the Holy Spirit in me; I’m filled with God. Therefore, there’s no  room  for  sickness,  disease,  anger,  jealousy  or anything of darkness in me. I’m full of light, and I light up my world. I’m never alone, because the Holy Spirit is forever in me, and with me; He’s my ever- present help in time of need! Hallelujah!

의식적으로 말씀을 묵상하십시오
CONSCIOUSLY MEDITATE ON THE WORD

”이 율법책을 네 입에서 떠나지 말게 하며 주야로 그것을 묵상하여 그 안에 기록된 대로 다 지켜 행하라 그리하면 네 길이 평탄하게 될 것이며 네가 형통하리라“(수 1:8)

그리스도인에게 하나님의 말씀을 묵상하는 것은 선택사항이 아니라 당신이 꾸준히 해야 하는 일입니다. 오늘의 본문 구절에서 주님은 묵상의 중요성과 그것이 당신의 삶에서 무엇을 창출할지를 간략하게 말씀하셨습니다. 묵상은 늘 번성하고 탄탄하며 지속적인 성공을 가져옵니다. 안타깝게도 일부 그리스도인들은 하나님의 말씀보다는 자신들이 처한 도전적인 상황을 묵상하곤 합니다. 그들이 직면할 수 있는 도전이 무엇이든지 간에 그것을 극복할 수 있도록 해주는 것이 바로 말씀이라는 사실을 깨닫지 못한 채 말입니다.
문제나 상황이 아닌 말씀을 항상 묵상하십시오. 당신이 직면한 도전이나 삶의 환경들은 진짜가 아닙니다. 그것들은 모두 변할 수밖에 없습니다. 고린도후서 4:18은 “…보이는 것은 잠깐이요 보이지 않는 것은 영원하다”고 말씀합니다. 하나님의 말씀은 보이지 않는 실재요 인생에서 유일하게 확신하고 의지할 수 있는 토대입니다. 오직 말씀에만 당신의 시선을 고정하십시오. 상황에 동요되거나 흔들리기를 거절하십시오. 말씀이 당신의 삶을 지배하며 상황을 넘어서서 영광에서 영광으로 당신을 이끄는 것 외에는 어떤 것도 보지 마십시오.
조용한 시간에 말씀을 생각하십시오! 말씀을 생각하다가 입으로 중얼거리십시오. 입으로 중얼거리다 크게 외치십시오! 이것이 묵상의 단계입니다.
묵상하면서 졸지 마십시오. 방안을 돌아다니며 당신의 인생을 향한 하나님의 완전한 뜻에 일치해서 당신의 미래를 만들어낼 창조적인 말을 선포하십시오. 이 세상은 온갖 부정적인 소리와 세력들로 가득하지만, 당신은 안에서부터 생명의 힘을 풀어냄으로써 그런 것들을 물리쳐야 합니다. 그 생명의 힘은 믿음으로 충만한 당신의 고백입니다.
당신은 말로써 열매 있고 생산적인 삶 곧 승리하는 삶을 창조해야 합니다. 다른 누구도 아닌 당신만이 자신을 위해 이 일을 할 수 있습니다. 묵상은 성공을 위한 하나님의 비결입니다. 의식적으로 그렇게 하십시오. 할렐루야!

고백
나의 미래는 그리스도 안에서 안전합니다. 모든 것이 합력하여 나의 선을 이룹니다. 내가 주님을 사랑하고 그분의 목적을 따라 부르심을 받았기 때문입니다. 내 안에 계신 그리스도는 나의 가장 큰 유익입니다. 나는 이 세상의 부패와 타락한 영향들로부터 영원히 벗어났습니다. 하나님을 송축합니다!

CONSCIOUSLY MEDITATE ON THE WORD

This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success (Joshua 1:8).

For the Christian, meditating on God’s Word isn’t optional; it’s something you have to do consistently. The Lord, in our opening verse, outlined the importance of meditation and what it’ll produce in your life: all-round prosperity, and durable success.
Sadly, some Christians would rather meditate on the challenges  they’re  facing  than  on  God’s  Word,  not realising  it’s  the  Word  that  can  put  them  over  and above the challenges of life.
Always meditate on the Word, not on the problems or circumstances. The challenges you face, and the circumstances of life are not real; they’re all subject to change. 2 Corinthians 4:18 says, “…the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.” The Word of God is the unseen reality, the only sure and dependable foundation in life; keep your gaze on the Word only. Refuse to be swayed or moved by circumstances. See nothing else but the Word prevailing in your life, putting you over and above circumstances, and piloting you from glory to glory.
During your quiet moments, think on the Word!
From thinking, mutter the Word; and from muttering, roar the Word! These are different levels of meditation. Don’t doze off while meditating; walk around in your
room, and utter creative words that’ll shape and align your future with God’s perfect will for your life. The world is full of negative voices and forces, but
you’ve got to counter them by releasing the forces of  life  from  within  you;  these  are  your  faith-filled confessions.  You’ve  got  to  create  your  fruitful  and productive life—your victorious life—with your words. No one but you can do this for you. Meditation is God’s recipe for success; do it consciously.

CONFESSION
My future is secure in Christ; all things are working together for my good, because I love the Lord, and I’m called according to His purpose. Christ in me is my greatest advantage. I’m forever lifted, over and above the depravity and corrupting influences of this world. Blessed be God!

THE CHRIST-ENVIRONMENT

“너희가 세상의 초등학문에서 그리스도와 함께 죽었거든 어찌하여  세상에 사는 것과 같이 규례에 순종하느냐”  (골2:20)

오늘의 본문 구절은 사도 바울이 골로새의 그리스도인과 벌인 토론의 정점이었습니다. 바울의 말을 다시 살펴봅시다. “…너희가 세상의 초등학문에서 그리스도와 함께 죽었거든 어찌하여 세상에 사는 것과 같이 규례에 순종하느냐” 그리스도인이 이 세상 곧 이 자연적인 삶의 차원에서 살지 않는다는 이 말씀은 놀랍고도 심오합니다. 할렐루야!
그러므로 당신은 이 세상의 초등 학문(요소)에 의해 영향받거나 지배받아서는 안 됩니다. 인생과 자연의 예측하기 어려운 일들이 당신에게 영향을 줄 수 없고 주어서도 안 됩니다. 당신은 다른 차원과 환경인 그리스도라는 환경에서 왔기 때문입니다.
구약시대에 이스라엘의 자손들이 이집트를 떠나 광야를 지나갈 때, 그들은 자신들의 분위기를 몰고 다녔습니다. 사막에 있었지만, 그들은 사막의 혹독하고 심각한 환경에 영향받거나 손상이나 피해를 보지 않았습니다. 낮 동안에는 구름이 뜨거운 태양을 가려주었고, 밤에는 불기둥이 혹독한 추위로부터 그들을 보호해 주었습니다. 그들은 다른 환경에서 살았습니다. 얼마나 영광스럽습니까!
거듭난 당신에게는 훨씬 더 영광스러운 것이 있습니다. 바로 “그리스도” 안에 있는 것입니다. 그리스도는 어떤 장소이자 환경입니다. 거듭났을 때, 당신은 그리스도라 불리는 환경 안에 태어났습니다. 그 환경에서의 삶은 다릅니다. 모든 것이 순수하고 완전합니다. 실패와 연약함과 패배와 아픔과 질병과 가난이나 그 어떤 인생의 부정적인 것들은 없습니다! 당신에게 있는 전부는 영광과 의와 생명과 불멸과 기쁨과 건강과 평안과 번영 그리고 풍요함뿐입니다!
그리스도라는 환경은 하늘의 왕국입니다. 당신은 세상의 원리에 굴복하지 않고 상황을 전적으로 다스립니다. 사실상 당신은 이 세상에서 살지 않기 때문입니다. 이것이 오늘의 본문 구절에서 사도 바울을 통해 성령님이 우리에게 전해주시는 계시(understanding)입니다. 당신은 하늘 “안에” 살고 또 하늘로부터 삽니다. 그러므로 위의 것들 곧 당신이 속해 있고 당신이 활동하는 하늘 영역에 속한 것들에 초점을 맞추십시오. 할렐루야!

기도
사랑하는 하늘 아버지, 하늘의 시민이 되어 그 원리를 따라 살게 하시니 감사합니다. 저는 그리스도라는 환경 안에서 삽니다. 그 곳에서 저는 영광과 의와 생명과 불멸과 기쁨과 건강과 평안과 번영과 풍성함만을 소유하고 경험합니다. 예수 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘.

THE CHRIST-ENVIRONMENT

Wherefore if ye be dead with Christ from the rudiments of the world, why, as  though living in the world, are ye subject to ordinances (Colossians 2:20).

The Apostle Paul had come to a climactic point in his discussion with the Christians in Colossae in the verse above. Notice again his communication: “…if ye be dead with Christ from the rudiments of the world, why, as though living in the world, are ye subject to ordinances.” Amazing and profound: the Christian doesn’t live in this world; in this natural plane of life! Hallelujah!
You’re  therefore  not  supposed  to  be  affected, ruled or influenced by the rudiments of this world; the vagaries of life and nature can’t, and shouldn’t, impact on you because you’re from another plane; a different environment; the Christ-environment.
In the Old Testament, after the children of Israel left Egypt and journeyed through the desert, they carried their own atmosphere with them. Even though they were in the desert, they were unaffected, unblemished, and untainted by the severity and debilitating effects of the desert. During the day, they had a cloud as their covering against the scorching sun, and at night, there was a pillar of fire shielding them from the biting cold. They were in a different environment. How glorious!
Being born again, you have something far more glorious:  you’re  in  “Christ.”  Christ  is  a  place,  an environment.  You  were  born  into  the  environment
called  Christ,  when  you  were  born  again.  In  that environment, life is different; everything is pure and perfect; there’s no failure, weakness, defeat, sickness, disease, poverty or any of the negativities of life! All you have is glory, righteousness, life and immortality,
joy, health, peace, prosperity, and abundance! The Christ-environment is the kingdom of heaven. You  have  absolute  mastery  over  circumstances; you’re never subject to the principles of this world, because you really don’t live in this world. This is the understanding  that  the  Spirit,  through  the  Apostle Paul,  is  passing  to  us  in  our  theme  verse.  You  live “in,” and from, heaven. Therefore, set your focus on things above; things that are pertinent to the heavenly realm to which you belong, and from which you play. allelujah!

PRAYER
Dear heavenly Father, I thank you for making me a  citizen  of  heaven,  living  by  heavenly  principles. I live  in  the  Christ-environment,  where  all  I  have
and  experience  are  glory,  righteousness,  life  and immortality,  joy,  health,  peace,  prosperity,  and abundance, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

말의 중요성
A Premium On Words

“네 말로 의롭다 함을 받고 네 말로 정죄함을 받으리라”(마 12:37)

말은 하나님의 왕국에서 매우 중요하기 때문에 결코 함부로 사용되어서는 안 됩니다. 당신의 진짜 인격은 말에서 드러납니다. 당신은 농담을 하고 있다고 생각하지만 당신이 한 농담이 운명을 만들거나 손상시킬 수도 있습니다. 절대로 말씀을 거스르는 농담을 하지 마십시오.
에서의 예를 보십시오. 사람들이 대수롭지 않게 여기는 바로 “단순한 말”로 에서는 동생 야곱에게 장자권을 박탈당했습니다. 그 이야기를 읽어보십시오. 배가 고픈 에서는 음식을 원했습니다. 마침 그의 동생 야곱이 죽을 끓이고 있었는데 에서는 그에게 죽을 좀 달라고 말했습니다. 다음은 성경에 기록된 그들의 대화입니다. “에서가 야곱에게 배가 고파 죽겠으니 나에게 붉은 죽을 달라고 하니 야곱이 ‘거래를 합시다. 죽을 먹는 대신 형이 가진 맏아들의 권리를 나에게 주시오’라고 대답했다. 에서가 ‘지금 배고파 죽을 지경인데 맏아들의 권리가 뭐가 그리 대단한 거냐’라고 말하자 야곱은 먼저 맹세부터 하라고 강조했다. 그러자 에서는 그렇게 하였다. 맏아들의 권리를 판다고 맹세했던 것이다. 야곱이 그에게 빵과 팥죽을 주니, 그는 먹고 마시고 일어나서 나갔다. 에서는 이와 같이 맏아들의 권리를 가볍게 여겼다.”(창 25:30-33, MSG) 이는 참으로 한심한 일이었습니다!
여기에는 이삭이 자신의 큰 아들에게 복을 빌어주려고 했을 때, 에서 대신 야곱에게 “실수로” 복을 빌어주긴 했지만, 에서가 자신의 말로 야곱에게 장자권을 저당 잡혔기 때문에 그 일이 일어날 수밖에 없었다는 암시가 들어있습니다.
비록 에서는 자신이 한 말에 큰 “의미”를 두지 않았던 게 분명하지만, 너무 늦었습니다. 그는 나중에 눈물을 흘리며 동일한 축복을 구했지만 받을 수 없었다는 것을 깨달았습니다. “너희가 아는 바와 같이 그가 그 후에 축복을 이어받으려고 눈물을 흘리며 구하되 버린 바가 되어 회개할 기회를 얻지 못하였느니라”(히 12:17)
당신의 말은 당신을 대표합니다. 말은 모든 것을 의미합니다. 부주의하게 말하고는 “그런 뜻이 아니었어!”라고 변명하지 마십시오. 진리를 말하십시오. 성경은 의인의 마음은 대답할 말을 깊이 생각한다고 말씀합니다(잠 15:28). 영적인 것을 대수롭지 않게 여기고 말로 자신의 장자권을 얕보는 에서처럼 되지 마십시오.
말을 중요하게 여기십시오. 예수님이 말의 달인이셨던 것처럼 당신도 말의 달인이 되십시오. 당신은 말로 의롭게 되기도 하고 또 정죄당하기도 할 것입니다.

사랑하는 아버지, 초자연적인 통찰력과 지혜와 지식을 주셔서 감사합니다. 저는 말을 잘 다루며 항상 지혜롭게 말합니다. 저는 진리를 말합니다. 아버지의 말씀은 진리입니다. 아버지의 말씀은 오늘 제 심령과 입에 있어서 제 안에서 그리고 저를 통해 의를 낳습니다. 예수 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘.

A PREMIUM ON WORDS

For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned (Matthew 12:37).

Words are so important in the Kingdom of God and should never be used carelessly. Your real personality is revealed in words. Even when you think you’re joking, what you say could make or mar your destiny. Never take the risk to joke against the Word. Take Esau for example; by what some consider “mere words,” he forfeited his birthright to his brother, Jacob. Read the story: He was hungry and wanted food. Jacob, his younger brother, was making a pot of stew and he asked Jacob for some. Read their ensuing dialogue: “Give me some of that red stew—I’m starved,” said Esau. “Make me a trade: my stew for your rights as the firstborn,” replied Jacob. “…I’m starving! What good is a birthright if I’m dead?” …And he did it. On oath, Esau traded away his rights as the firstborn. Jacob gave him bread and the stew of lentils. He ate and drank, got up and left. That’s how Esau shrugged off his rights as the firstborn” (Genesis 25:32-34 MSG). Very pathetic indeed! The implication was that when Isaac was to transfer the blessing to his older son, he conferred it on Jacob, instead of Esau, howbeit by “mistake.” But it had to be, because Esau, by his own words, had mortgaged the rights of the firstborn to Jacob. Even though it was obvious he (Esau) didn’t quite “mean” what he said, it was too late. We discovered later that he sought the same blessing with tears, but couldn’t get it: “For ye know how that afterward, when he (Esau) would have inherited the blessing, he was rejected: for he found no place of repentance, though he sought it carefully with tears” (Hebrews 12:17). Your words represent you; they mean everything. Don’t speak carelessly and say, “I didn’t mean it!”
Speak truth. The Bible says the righteous studies to answer; he meditates to speak (Proverbs 15:28). Don’t be like Esau who had no regard for spiritual things, and
disparaged his birthright with words. Put a premium on words. Be a master of words as Jesus was a master of words, for by your words, you shall be justified, and by your words, you shall be condemned.

Prayer
Dear Father, I thank you for granting me supernatural insight, wisdom, and knowledge; I deal and speak wisely always. I speak truth, and your Word is truth. Your Word is in my heart and in my mouth today, producing righteousness in and through me, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
