Manifesting The Glory Of The Kingdom

“여호와여 주께서 지으신 모든 것들이 주께 감사하며 주의 성도들이 주를 송축하리이다 그들이 주의 나라의 영광을 말하며 주의 업적을 일러서 주의 업적과 주의 나라의 위엄 있는 영광을 인생들에게 알게 하리이다”(시 145:10-12)

오늘의 본문 구절은 우리가 속한 하나님의 왕국에 대한 놀라운 사실을 알려줍니다. 그 왕국은 영광과 능력이 있는 왕국입니다! 제가 자세히 설명하고 싶은 단어는 “영광”입니다. 성경은 하나님의 성도들이 그분의 영광을 말할 것이라고 말합니다. 또한 하나님의 성도들이 그분의 왕국의 영광스러운 위엄을 선포할 것이라고 말합니다. 그렇다면 영광이란 무슨 뜻입니까?

많은 경우, 사람들은 실제 의미를 모른 채 “영광”이라는 단어를 사용합니다. 영광은 존귀에 영감을 주고, 생산하고, 존귀케 하는 것입니다. 무슨 일이 일어날 때, 그리고 그 일이 당신으로 하여금 다른 사람에 대한 존귀, 존경, 존중을 갖게 만들 때 영광스럽다고 하는 것입니다.

따라서 어떤 집회가 영광스러웠다고 말하는 것은 그 집회가 사람들이 주님을 경배하도록 영감을 주었다는 뜻입니다. 그들은 주님을 찬양하도록 영감을 준 것입니다. 그 집회는 참석자들로 하여금 하나님께 영광을 드리게 했습니다.

예수님께서 혼인 잔치에서 물을 포도주로 바꾸셨을 때 성경은 다음과 같이 말합니다. “예수께서 이 첫 표적을 갈릴리 가나에서 행하여 그의 영광을 나타내시매 제자들이 그를 믿으니라”(요 2:11) 그들은 예수님께서 물을 포도주로 바꾸시는 것을 보며 너무나 놀랐습니다. 예수님은 그분의 영광을 나타내셨고, 제자들은 그분을 믿게 되었습니다. 제자들은 예수님을 존경하고 경외했습니다.

이제 당신은 성경에서 “그들이 주의 나라의 영광을 말하며…”라고 말하는 바를 이해할 수 있습니다. 우리가 지금 말하고 있는 하나님의 왕국 안에는 무엇이 있습니까? 왕국에는 질병이 실재하지 않으며 패배는 존재하지 않습니다. 그곳에는 생명과 불멸이 다스리고 있습니다.

바로 이것이 하나님의 왕국이며 우리가 그리스도 안에서 태어난 곳입니다. 베드로전서 2:9(확대번역본)은 말합니다. “그러나 너희는 선택받은 민족이요 왕 같은 제사장이며, 구별되어 헌신된 나라요, [하나님께서] 친히 사신 특별한 백성이니, 이는 너희를 어두움에서 불러내어 그의 놀라운 빛으로 들어가게 하신 분의 경이로운 행위를 내세우고 그분의 덕과 완벽함을 내보이게 하려 하심이라.”

사랑하는 아버지, 내 삶에 하나님의 말씀의 영광을 주셔서 감사합니다. 하나님께서는 나를 하나님의 영광스러운 왕국으로 부르시고 빛 가운데 성도의 유업에 참여하는 자로 만들어 주셨습니다! 나는 오늘 하나님의 영광, 통치권, 능력 안에서 행하며, 하나님의 탁월하심을 내 세상에 나타냅니다. 예수 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘.

MANIFESTING THE GLORY OF THE KINGDOM

“All thy works shall praise thee, O Lord; and thy saints shall bless thee. They shall speak of the glory of thy kingdom, and talk of thy power; To make known to the sons of men his mighty acts, and the glorious majesty of his kingdom” (Psalm 145:10-12).

Our opening verse tells us something striking about God’s Kingdom that we’re a part of: it’s a Kingdom with glory and power! A word I’d like to elaborate on is “glory.” The Bible says God’s saints shall speak of His glory. It also says they’ll make known the glorious majesty of His Kingdom. But what does glory mean?

Many times, people use the term “glory” without knowing what it really means. Glory is that which inspires, produces or causes honour. When something happens, and that thing causes you to give honour, admiration, and respect to another, that thing is said to be glorious.

Therefore, to say a meeting was glorious means that it inspired people to worship the Lord; they were inspired to praise Him. The meeting caused the attendees to respond in honour of God.

When Jesus turned water to wine at a wedding ceremony, the Bible says, “This beginning of miracles did Jesus in Cana of Galilee, and manifested forth his glory; and his disciples believed on him” (John 2:11). When they saw what He did by turning water to wine, they were amazed. He manifested forth His glory, and His disciples believed in Him. They honoured and revered Him.

Now, you can understand when the Bible says, “They shall speak of the glory of thy kingdom….” What’s in the Kingdom of God that we’re talking about? It’s a kingdom where sickness isn’t real, where defeat doesn’t exist; it’s a kingdom where life and immortality reign.

This is the Kingdom of God that we’re born into, in Christ. 1 Peter 2:9 (AMP) says, “But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a dedicated nation, [God’s] own purchased, special people, that you may set forth the wonderful deeds and display the virtues and perfections of Him Who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light.” As you walk in the light of who you are in Christ, you’re showing forth the glory of the Kingdom.

PRAYER

Dear Father, thank you for the glory of your Word in my life. You’ve calle me into your glorious Kingdom, making me a partaker of the inheritance of the saints in light! I walk in your glory, dominion and power today, manifesting your excellence to my world, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

The Sanctifying Power Of His Word

“무릇 내게 붙어 있어 열매를 맺지 아니하는 가지는 아버지께서 그것을 제거해 버리시고 무릇 열매를 맺는 가지는 더 열매를 맺게 하려 하여 그것을 깨끗하게 하시느니라 너희는 내가 일러준 말로 이미 깨끗하여졌으니”(요 15:2-3)

하나님의 백성을 정결케 하는 데 있어서 그들에게 말씀을 나누는 것보다 더 좋은 방법은 없습니다. 그저 하나님의 말씀을 나누십시오. 예를 들어, 목사는 교회의 일부 사람들이 바르게 살지 않는 것에 대해 걱정할 수도 있습니다. 그렇다면 그가 해야 할 일은 하나님의 말씀을 계속 말하고 가르치는 것입니다. 그러면 사람들은 깨끗해질 것입니다.

예수님께서 “너희는 내가 일러준 말로 이미 깨끗하여졌으니”라고 말씀하신 것에 주목하십시오. 그들이 말씀을 들을 때, 말씀은 그들의 영을 정결하게 하고 그들을 깨끗하게 했습니다. 말씀은 성결케 하는 능력이 있습니다. 성경은 말합니다. “남편들아 아내 사랑하기를 그리스도께서 교회를 사랑하시고 그 교회를 위하여 자신을 주심 같이 하라 이는 곧 물로 씻어 말씀으로 깨끗하게 하사 거룩하게 하시고”(엡 5:25-26)

하나님의 말씀은 깨끗게 합니다. 그래서 사람들이 교회에 가서 말씀을 들으면 가장 좋은 곳에 있는 것 같은 느낌을 받는 것입니다. 그들이 하나님의 말씀을 들을 때, 말씀은 그들을 정결케 합니다. 그것이 말씀이 당신의 영에 하는 일입니다.

그렇기 때문에 지역 교회에서 참된 하나님의 말씀을 가르칠 때, 사람들은 항상 그들을 깨끗게 하고, 힘을 주고, 영감을 주는 메시지를 듣게 될 것입니다. 더해서 그들은 영혼 구원자가 될 것입니다. 예수님이 제자들에게 그러하셨듯 말씀은 그들을 사람 낚는 어부로 만들 것입니다(마 4:19).

기도

사랑하는 아버지, 아버지의 말씀의 정결케 하는 능력에 감사드립니다. 말씀은 나를 깨끗하게 하고, 내 마음을 새롭게 하며, 내 삶을 변화시키고, 내 삶을 향한 아버지의 완전한 뜻의 방향으로 내 생각을 다시 프로그래밍합니다. 내 마음은 초자연적인 성장, 번영, 신성한 건강을 위해 재조정됩니다. 예수 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘.

THE SANCTIFYING POWER OF HIS WORD

“Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit. Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you” (John 15:2-3).

There’s no better way to purify God’s people than sharing the Word with them. Just share the Word of God. A pastor, for instance, could be concerned that some people in the church might not be living right. What he needs to do is to keep speaking and teaching the Word of God and the people will be cleansed.

Notice that Jesus said, “You’re clean through the Word that I have spoken unto you.” As they hear the Word, it’ll purge their spirits and cleanse them. The Word has that sanctifying power. The Bible says, “Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it; That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word,” (Ephesians 5:25-26).

The Word of God washes. That’s why, when people come to church and listen to the Word, they feel like they’re in the best place ever. As they listened to the Word of God, it purified them. That’s what the Word of God does to your spirit.

That’s why when the true Word of God is taught in a local assembly, people will always come to hear that message that purifies, empowers and inspires them. It will even propel them to become soul winners for the Word makes them fishers of men as He did the disciples (Matthew 4:19).

PRAYER

Dear Father, thank you for the purifying power of your Word; it cleanses me, renews my mind, transforms my life, and reprogrammes my thoughts in the direction of your perfect will for my life. My mind is reconditioned for supernatural growth, prosperity, and divine health, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

억제되지 않는 분노를 정복하십시오

Conquer Unrestrained Anger

“분을 내어도 죄를 짓지 말며 해가 지도록 분을 품지 말고”(엡 4:26)

혹시 아기들이 화났다는 사인을 보이는 것을 눈치채 본 적이 있습니까? 안타깝게도 어떤 사람들은 이런 억제하지 않고 놔둔 분노를 성인 때까지 가져갑니다. 이미 어린 시절에 생겼을 수 있는 억제되지 않은 분노에 대해 인지하고 정복하는 것은 중요합니다.

이는 민수기 20장에 나오는 모세의 이야기가 생각나게 합니다. 이스라엘의 백성들은 광야에서 목이 마르자 모세에게 울부짖었습니다. 모세가 주님께 이에 대해 말씀드리자, 주님께서는 모세에게 이스라엘의 백성들이 보는 앞에서 반석에 말하라고 지시하셨고, 그러면 물이 나올 것이라고 말씀하셨습니다(민 20:8).

모세에게 지시하신 바는 물이 나오도록 반석에 대고 말하라는 것이었습니다. 모세는 반석을 칠 필요가 없었습니다. 그러나 사람들의 불평에 대한 짜증과 분노로 인해 그는 반석을 쳤습니다. 성경은 말합니다. “… 여호와께서 모세와 아론에게 이르시되 너희가 나를 믿지 아니하고 이스라엘 자손의 목전에서 내 거룩함을 나타내지 아니한 고로 너희는 이 회중을 내가 그들에게 준 땅으로 인도하여 들이지 못하리라 하시니라”(민 20:11-12)

물은 나왔지만 결과는 끔찍했습니다. 하나님께서는 모세가 약속한 땅으로 들어가지 못할 것이라고 선포하셨습니다. 이 이야기는 제어되지 않는 감정이 어떻게 한 사람의 인생을 방해할 수 있는지에 대한 가슴 아픈 예시입니다. 모세는 감정이 자신의 행동을 좌지우지 하도록 내버려두었고, 그의 억제되지 않은 분노는 그가 약속한 땅으로 들어갈 수 없게 만들었습니다.

야고보서 1:2은 말합니다. “내 형제들아 너희가 여러 가지 시험을 만나거든 온전히 기쁘게 여기라” 당신의 분노는 절대 하나님의 의를 나타낼 수 없습니다. 분노는 하나님의 뜻과 반대되는 행동으로 연결될 것입니다. 분노는 사람으로 하여금 화가 나지 않았다면 하지 않았을 행동을 하게 합니다. 진정되고 나서 상황을 다시 본다 할지라도 이미 늦었습니다.

그러므로 말씀으로 분노를 정복하십시오. 에베소서 4:26-27은 말합니다. “만일 화가 난다 할지라도 원한을 품어 죄를 짓지 마십시오. 해가 질 때까지 계속 화난 상태로 있지 마십시오. 빨리 그 감정을 처리하십시오. 당신이 화가 난 상태라면, 당신은 마귀에게 좋은 발판을 제공하는 것입니다.”(TLB 번역본)

기도

사랑하는 아버지, 하나님의 의가 내 행동을 인도하시고 항상 아버지의 뜻과 일치한 반응을 하도록 나를 가르쳐 주십니다. 하나님의 말씀은 내 심령에 있으며 내가 의 가운데 행하고 아버지 안에서 내 운명을 성취하게 합니다. 나는 항상 말씀으로 살며 내 심령에 있는 사랑을 발산합니다. 예수 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘.

CONQUER UNRESTRAINED ANGER

“Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath” (Ephesians 4:26).

Have you noticed how some infants sometimes exhibit signs of anger? Unfortunately, some individuals carry this unchecked anger into adulthood. It is crucial to acknowledge and conquer unrestrained anger that may have been acquired during early life.

It brings to mind the story of Moses in Numbers 20. When the children of Israel were thirsty for water in the wilderness, they cried to Moses. When Moses spoke to the Lord about it, He instructed Moses to speak to the rock before the children of Israel and water would come out (Numbers 20:8).

The instruction was for Moses to speak to the rock to give them water; he wasn’t to strike it. But out of anger, and frustration due to the people’s complaints, he struck the rock instead. The Bible says, “…And the LORD spake unto Moses and Aaron, Because ye believed me not, to sanctify me in the eyes of the children of Israel, therefore ye shall not bring this congregation into the land which I have given them” (Numbers 20:11-12).

Yes, water gushed forth, but the consequence was dire: God declared that Moses would not enter the Promised Land. This story gives a poignant example of how uncontrolled emotions can impede one’s journey. Moses allowed his anger to govern his actions and his unbridled anger prevented him from entering the Promised Land.

James 1:20 says, “For the wrath of man worketh not the righteousness of God.” Your anger will never produce God’s righteousness; it’ll lead to actions contrary to God’s will. Anger causes people to take actions they otherwise wouldn’t have taken, and by the time they recollect, it might be too late.

Therefore, conquer anger with the Word. Ephesians 4:26 TLB says, “If you are angry, don’t sin by nursing your grudge. Don’t let the sun go down with you still angry—get over it quickly; 27 for when you are angry, you give a mighty foothold to the devil.”

PRAYER

Dear Father, your righteousness guides my actions and teaches me to respond in alignment with your will always. Your Word is in my heart, causing me to walk in righteousness and fulfil my destiny in you! I live by the Word always, giving vent to the love in my heart, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

창세기 6:1-4은 초기에 “하나님의 아들들”이라 묘사되는 존재들이 어떻게 인간들에게 섞였는지 보여주고 있습니다. “하나님의 아들들이 사람의 딸들의 아름다움을 보고 자기들이 좋아하는 모든 여자를 아내로 삼는지라”(창 6:2)

이 문맥에서 언급된 “하나님의 아들들”은 자신의 부르심과 거처를 떠난 자들이며 자신의 몸을 악한 것들을 위해 사용했습니다. 그들은 인간들과 결혼하여 거인의 자손들을 낳았습니다. 유다는 성령으로 말미암아 이런 천사들에게 결국 어떤 일이 일어났는지 밝혔습니다. “또 자기들의 처음 신분을 지키지 아니하고 자기들의 거처를 떠난 천사들을 큰 날의 심판 때까지 영존하는 사슬로 묶어 어둠 밑에 예비해 두셨는데”(유 1:6, 한글 흠정역)

하나님께서는 불순종한 천사들을 가두셔서 그들이 더 이상 악한 일들을 하지 못하도록 막으셨습니다. 그러나, 그들의 자손들이 만족할 줄 모르는 탐욕과 억제하지 못하는 분노를 가지고 이 땅을 돌아다녔습니다. 이 거인들은 도시를 짓고, 위험한 수준으로 초목을 소비했습니다. 그들이 이 땅에서 살기 위해서는 많은 자원이 필요했기 때문입니다.

그러나 그들이 죽으면, 인간의 영이 아닌 귀신의 영인 그들의 영이 지옥으로 내려가 지옥에 있는 자들을 처벌합니다. 그들의 법적 정죄가 아직 밝혀지지 않았기 때문입니다. 그리고 그들이 영원히 지옥에 갇힌 것이 아니기 때문에 그들은 자신의 선택에 따라 지옥을 들락거리며, 이 땅에서 날뛰며 악한 일들을 행하고 있습니다.

우리가 살아가는 이 세상에는 이런 영적으로 날뛰는 영들이 여전히 존재합니다. 그 귀신들은 사람들의 일에 영향을 끼치고 악을 지속합니다. 그러나 하나님께 감사합니다. 우리는 그들을 몰아내고 우리의 나라와 사람들의 삶에 대한 그들의 영향을 빼앗을 예수 이름의 권세를 가지고 있습니다.

자주 그들에게 예수 이름을 사용하고 그런 악한 존재들의 일을 중단시키십시오. 당신의 삶, 가정, 환경, 도시, 국가에 그들이 영향을 주는 것을 금지시키십시오. 예수 이름으로 그들을 쫓아내십시오! 당신이 그렇게 할 때, 그 지역에 있는 많은 사람들의 심령이 복음을 기쁘게 받아들이고 구원의 부르심에 주의를 기울이기 위해 열릴 것입니다. 그리고 의가 승리할 것입니다. 할렐루야!

사랑하는 아버지, 대적의 모든 능력을 이기는 권세를 주시니 감사합니다. 사탄과 그의 귀신들은 내 삶, 가정, 내가 사랑하는 사람들의 삶, 나의 나라에서 어떤 일들을 할 권세가 없습니다. 나는 하늘과 땅에서 모든 능력과 권세를 부여받았고, 내 세상에 대해 책임지고, 다스리고, 통치하기 때문입니다. 할렐루야!

DISLODGE THEM

“And the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, he hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day” (Jude 1:6).

Genesis 6:1-4 recounts how in the early days, entities described as the “sons of God” intermingled with humans: “That the sons of God saw the daughters of men that they were fair; and they took them wives of all which they chose…”

The “sons of God” as used in this context were angels who had left their calling and estate, and used their bodies for evil things; they mated with humans and produced giant offsprings. Jude, by the Spirit, revealed what eventually happened to these angels: “And the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, he hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day” (Jude 1:6).

God imprisoned these disobedient angels to prevent them from continuing in their wickedness. However, the offspring of these unions roamed the earth with insatiable appetites and a propensity for unrestrained evil. These physical giants built cities, and consumed vegetation at an alarming rate, such that it took a lot to sustain them.

But as they died, their spirits—which were not human spirits—but demons, went to hell and punished those in hell because their legal condemnation was not yet established. And because they haven’t been permanently put in hell, they moved in and out of hell as they chose, and also ran rampage in the earth, carrying out evil activities.

Our world still contends with these spiritual free radicals today; demons that influence human affairs and perpetuate evil. But thanks be unto God; we have the authority in the Name of Jesus to dislodge and dispossess them of their hold and sway over nations and the lives of men.

Every so often, use the name of Jesus against them and put a stop to the works of these demoniacal entities. Forbid them from influencing things in your life, in your home, in your environment, city and nation. Cast them out in the Name of Jesus! Once you do, the hearts of many in those regions will become open to receive the Gospel gladly and heed the call to salvation, and righteousness will prevail. Hallelujah!

Prayer

Dear Father, thank you for the power to tread over all the abilities of the enemy. Satan and his demons have no right to run things in my life, my home, the lives of my loved ones, or in my nation, because I’ve been vested with all power and authority in heaven and in earth to subdue, dominate and take charge of my world. Hallelujah!

천국이 다스립니다!

Heaven Rules!

“이는 순찰자들의 명령대로요 거룩한 자들의 말대로이니 지극히 높으신 이가 사람의 나라를 다스리시며 자기의 뜻대로 그것을 누구에게든지 주시며 또 지극히 천한 자를 그 위에 세우시는 줄을 사람들이 알게 하려 함이라 하였느니라”(단 4:17)

전 세계 많은 나라에서 날마다 그리스도인들이 공격을 받고 있습니다. 사실 몇몇 도시에서는 예수님을 전하다는 사실 때문에 감옥에 갇히거나 추방당하는 위험에 처하기도 합니다. 이런 이유로 인해 오늘날 몇몇 교회들은 담대하게 말하기를 두려워합니다. 그들은 “권세자들”이 불쾌해하지 않도록 자신이 말하는 내용을 조심합니다.

그렇게 해서는 안 됩니다. 당신이 하나님의 말씀의 진리를 전할 때 담대하십시오. 잠잠히 있지 마십시오. 어떤 사람 앞에서든지 예수 그리스도가 하나님의 아들이시며 육신으로 오신 하나님이시라는 진리를 담대하게 선포하십시오. 예수님은 길이요 진리요 생명이시고, 그분 없이 하나님과 관계를 맺을 수 있는 자는 아무도 없습니다(요 14:6).

누군가는 “하지만 크리스 목사님, 우리나라의 법은 그런 말을 하는 것을 금지합니다.”라고 말할 수 있습니다. 그러나 당신은 어디에서 왔습니까? 우리는 지금 하늘과 이 땅과 땅 아래를 다스리시는 예수 그리스도에 대해서 말하고 있습니다. 그분은 우주를 다스리는 분이십니다. 그분의 말씀은 법입니다. 그렇다면 당신은 누구에게 복종할 것입니까?

당신의 나라와 다른 모든 나라의 권세들은 예수님께 복종합니다. 성경은 예수님께서 하늘에서 가장 존귀한 자리, 상상할 수 있는 모든 통제, 권세, 세력, 통치, 혹은 정부보다 무한히 우월한 자리에 계시다고 말합니다. 그분은 이 세상이나 오는 세상에서 사용되는 그 어떤 이름보다도 위에 계십니다.

예수님이 다스리십니다. 천국이 다스리고 있으며 온 세상은 반드시 그 사실을 알아야 합니다. 성경은 다니엘이 느부갓네살 왕의 꿈에 나온 쓰러진 큰 나무에 대한 해석을 말하며 우리에게 놀라운 내용을 전합니다. “또 그들이 그 나무뿌리의 그루터기를 남겨 두라 하였은즉 하나님이 다스리시는 줄을 왕이 깨달은 후에야 왕의 나라가 견고하리이다”(단 4:26) 이 구절을 잘 보셨습니까? 천국이 다스립니다! 당시 모든 나라를 다스리던 느부갓네살 왕도 천국이 다스린다는 사실을 배워야 했습니다. 그가 다스리는 것이 아니었습니다.

당신이 살고 있는 도시의 시장이나 나라의 대통령이 통치자라고 생각하지 마십시오. 천국이 다스립니다. 당신은 이 사실을 이해해야 합니다. “이 땅의 법이 금지시켰습니다.”라고 말하지 마십시오. 포기하지 마십시오. 복음을 전하십시오. 당신의 도시와 나라를 향한 아버지의 뜻을 기도하십시오. 당신이 어디에 있든지 아버지의 뜻을 실행하십시오.

HEAVEN RULES!

“The decision is announced by messengers, the holy ones declare the verdict, so that the living may know that the Most High is sovereign over all kingdoms on earth and gives them to anyone he wishes and sets over them the lowliest of people” (Daniel 4:17 NIV).

In many nations around the world, Christians are being attacked every day. In fact, in some cities, they stand the risk of being jailed or deregistered for speaking about Jesus. For this reason, some churches today are afraid to speak boldly. Even when they speak, they’re mindful of what they say so they don’t offend the “authorities.”

No; as long as you’re proclaiming the truth of God’s Word, be bold. Don’t keep quiet. Declare boldly before anyone the truth that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, meaning God in the flesh. He’s the way the truth and the life, and no one can come into a relationship with God except by Him (John 14:6).

“But Pastor Chris, the law in my country forbids us from making such a claim” someone may say. But the question is, where are you from? The one we’re talking about, Jesus Christ, rules in heaven, in the earth, and under the earth. He’s the Monarch of the Universe. His Word is law. So who would you rather obey?

The authorities in your country and in every country are subject to Him. The Bible says Jesus occupies the place of supreme honour in Heaven—a place that is infinitely superior to any conceivable command, authority, power, control or government. He bears a name that’s far beyond any name that could ever be used in this world or the world to come.

Jesus rules. Heaven rules and the whole world must acknowledge it. The Bible tells us something remarkable Daniel said while interpreting King Nebuchadnezzar’s dream about a great tree that was felled. He said, “The command to leave the stump of the tree with its roots means that your kingdom will be restored to you when you acknowledge that Heaven rules” (Daniel 4:26 NIV). Did you see that? Heaven rules! Even King Nebuchadnezzar, the king over all the nations at the time, had to learn a lesson that the heavens ruled; not him.

Don’t think the mayor of your city or the president of your country is the one ruling; heaven rules. You have to come to this understanding. Don’t say, “The law of the land forbade me” and give up. No! Preach the Gospel. Pray the will of the Father over your city and your country. Execute the Father’s will wherever you are.

Refuse to stop preaching the Gospel out of fear and intimidation; remember, you represent heaven, and heaven rules.

PRAYER

Dear Father, thank you for giving us power and authority in the Name of Jesus to reign and rule in this life. I proclaim, as a representative of your Kingdom here on earth, that the nations are free from the bondage of deception. Your righteousness is established in every nation as the Gospel permeates into the hearts of all men, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Your Boundless Inheritance

당신은 아브라함의 씨이며 온 세상은 당신에게 속했습니다. 이 사실을 모르는 그리스도인은 거지처럼 살 것입니다. 하나님은 “내 백성이 지식이 없으므로 망하는도다”(호 4:6)라고 말씀하셨습니다.

YOUR BOUNDLESS INHERITANCE

“…and giving joyful thanks to the Father, who has qualified you to share in the inheritance of his holy people in the kingdom of light” (Colossians 1:12 NIV).

You’re the seed of Abraham, and the whole world belongs to you. Only a Christian who’s ignorant of this will live a beggarly life. God said, “My people perish for their lack of knowledge” (Hosea 4:6).

It’s like someone who goes to an event with an all-access ticket, yet stops at the gate to plead with the organizers to be allowed in. With your ticket, you don’t need to beg; just walk in and enjoy the party! It’s all about the ticket.

Jesus is your ticket to a boundless inheritance. The Amplified Classic describes it as unsearchable riches—wealth untold which no human being can search out (Ephesians 3:8). He qualified you for the inheritance. Hallelujah!

Then He said in John 16:32, “Whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in my name, he will give it you” (John 16:23). In other words, not only did He qualify you to be a partaker of His glorious inheritance, He’s saying, “Use my name!” That’s your ticket to enjoy all that’s been granted you in Christ.

Part of that inheritance is sound health. The Bible says, “Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth” (3 John 1:2). He wants you to prosper financially and be healthy enough to enjoy your wealth. How wonderful that is!

Wake up to this reality and say to yourself, “I’ll always be healthy, prosperous and sound. It’s part of my inheritance in Christ. Even if your parents didn’t leave you any inheritance; Jesus gave you one that’s incorruptible and the inheritance in Christ Jesus is greater than all.

PRAYER

Dear Father, thank you for making me a partaker of your glorious inheritance. I live in the overflowing goodness, victories and blessings of the Kingdom. I walk in the glorious heritage and liberty of the sons of God, and I flourish exceedingly in every good work, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

당신이 하나님의 자녀라면 당신은 성경을 이해하는 신성한 권리와 능력을 받았습니다. 하나님은 비밀스러운 하나님이라고 주장하는 사람들의 말에 절대 동의하지 마십시오. 하나님은 하나님의 자녀들에게 비밀스러운 분이 아니십니다.

AN UNDERSTANDING HEART AND MIND

“And he said, unto you it is given to know the mysteries of the kingdom of God….” (Luke 8:10).

If you’re a child of God, it’s your divinely given right and ability to understand the Scriptures. Never agree with those who claim God is a mysterious God; He’s not a mystery to His children.

It’s one of Satan’s strategies to deceive God’s people and try to make them believe they couldn’t understand the Scriptures. Never agree with him. You have the understanding of the righteous. It is given to you to understand the Scriptures.

The Bible tells us that God has given us a sound mind. So, you say, “I’m sound; my mind is sound. I’m alert. I have good understanding.” Don’t accept the devil’s lies that God’s Word and His ways are mysterious. Accept that you have an understanding mind.

The power is in accepting and declaring what God has said. So even if you’ve been having difficulties with your understanding of the Word, right now, say, “I have an understanding heart and mind” and right away your understanding will open up.

Part of the ministry of the Holy Spirit in your life is to help you understand the Scriptures. In John 14:26, Jesus said, “But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.”

The Bible also tells us how He breathed on His disciples and said, “Receive ye the Holy Ghost” (John 20:22), thus opening their minds to understand the scriptures (Luke 24:45). That’s a miracle, and that same miracle happened to you when you received the Holy Spirit.

PRAYER

Dear Father, thank you for granting me an understanding heart; I have insight into the mysteries and secrets of the Kingdom, and the boundless treasures of wisdom that are in your Word are unveiled to my spirit even now as I study your Word; the eyes of my understanding are flooded with light to know and walk in your perfect will, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

“그를 이끌고 밖으로 나가 이르시되 하늘을 우러러 뭇별을 셀 수 있나 보라 또 그에게 이르시되 네 자손이 이와 같으리라 아브람이 여호와를 믿으니 여호와께서 이를 그의 의로 여기시고”(창 15:5-6)

오늘의 본문 구절에서 하나님은 아브라함에게 어떻게 믿음의 눈으로 보는지에 대한 매우 중요한 훈련을 시켜주셨습니다. 주님은 아브라함에게 이렇게 말씀하셨습니다. “내가 너로 큰 민족을 이루고 네게 복을 주어 네 이름을 창대하게 하리니 너는 복이 될지라”(창 12:2)

그러나 아브라함은 그 일이 어떻게 일어날지 잘 “보지” 못했습니다. 그래서 아브람은 주님께 반박하며 말했습니다. “주 여호와여 무엇을 내게 주시려 하나이까 나는 자식이 없사오니 나의 상속자는 이 다메섹 사람 엘리에셀이니이다”(창 15:2)

그러나 주님께서는 밤에 아브라함을 데리고 나가셔서 하늘의 별들을 세어보라고 하셨습니다. 물론 별들의 수는 매우 많았습니다. 아브라함이 별을 세기 위해 애쓰고 있을 때, 하나님께서는 아브라함에게 “네 자손이 이와 같으리라”고 말씀하셨습니다. 아브라함은 그것을 믿었습니다. 그리고 아브라함이 믿는 순간, 그는 그것을 소유하게 되었습니다. 하나님은 아브라함이 자신의 영적인 시각을 사용할 수 있도록 그를 훈련시켜 주셨습니다. 이것은 영적인 일입니다. 당신의 생각, 마음, 환경 이상으로 바라보는 것입니다. 믿음의 눈으로 바라보는 것입니다.

이때 아브라함은 영적인 시각을 어떻게 사용해야 하는지 알고 있었습니다. 하나님의 지시를 따라 아브라함은 온 세상을 바라봤고, 하나님께서는 아브라함에게 온 세상을 주셨습니다. 당신도 아브라함처럼 자신의 영으로 바라보는 연습을 해야 합니다. 앉아서 영적인 시각을 활용해서 바라보는 시간을 가져야 합니다.

당신이 그때 보는 것이 당신이 소유하는 것입니다. 성경은 말합니다. “하나님이 말씀하시기를 말세에 내가 내 영을 모든 육체에 부어 주리니… 너희의 젊은이들은 환상을 보고…”(행 2:17) 청년들이 환상을 보게 될 것이라고 말한 부분에 주목하십시오. 당신은 지금 어떤 환상을 보고 있습니까? 당신의 믿음의 눈에는 어떤 그림이 보입니까?

바르지 않은 그림이 보인다면 털어버리십시오. 두려움, 죽음, 아픔, 실패, 거절의 그림이 보인다면 그 그림을 거절하십시오! 그리고 당신의 마음을 바꾸십시오. 생각을 바꾸십시오. 생각나는 말을 바꾸십시오. 당신을 재조정하십시오. 초점을 바꾸고 다시 보십시오. 그러면 바른 그림이 보일 것입니다.

사랑하는 아버지, 내가 가야 할 길로 나를 인도하시고, 아버지의 말씀을 통해 바른 그림을 보고 그것을 실제화하도록 인도하시는 성령님께 감사드립니다. 나는 나를 둘러싼 아버지의 영광과 선하심을 봅니다. 나는 오늘 아버지의 은혜와 축복의 충만함 가운데 삽니다. 예수 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘.

SEE THE RIGHT PICTURES

“And he brought him forth abroad, and said, Look now toward heaven, and tell the stars, if thou be able to number them: and he said unto him, So shall thy seed be. And he believed in the LORD; and he counted it to him for righteousness” (Genesis 15:5-6).

In our opening scripture, God was giving Abraham a very important training on how to see with the eyes of faith. The Lord had said to him, “…I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing” (Genesis 12:2).

But Abraham didn’t quite “see” how that was going to happen; so, he argued with the Lord and said, “Lord GOD, what wilt thou give me, seeing I go childless, and the steward of my house is this Eliezer of Damascus?” (Genesis 15:2).

The Lord however brought him out at night and told him to count the stars in the sky. Of course, they were too many. While still trying to count, God said to him, “So shall thy seed be.” He believed, and that was the moment he got it. God trained him to use his spiritual sense of sight. It was something spiritual. It means looking beyond your thinking, your mind and your environment; seeing with the eyes of faith.

On another occasion, after Lot separated from him, God said to him, “Lift up now thine eyes, and look from the place where thou art northward, and southward, and eastward, and westward: For all the land which thou seest, to thee will I give it, and to thy seed for ever” (Genesis 13:14-15).

By this time, Abraham had understood how to use his spiritual sense of sight. Upon God’s instruction, he looked and saw the whole world, and God gave it to him. Just like Abraham, you have to practice seeing with your spirit. You have to have times when you just sit down and use your spiritual sight.

What you see in those moments is what you get. The Bible says, “And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh … and your young men shall see visions…” (Acts 2:17). Notice he says the young men shall see visions; what visions are you seeing even now? What pictures are being captured by your eyes of faith?

If it’s the wrong picture, shake it off. If you see pictures of fear, death, sickness, or failure, reject them! And then change your mind; change your thoughts; change the words that are coming to you. Realign yourself; refocus and look again; the right pictures will come.

PRAYER

Dear Father, thank you for your Spirit who leads me in the way I should go and guides me through your Word to see the right pictures and bring them into reality. I see your glory and goodness all around me, and I walk in the fullness of your grace and blessings today, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Angels In The New Testament

“바람을 자기 사신으로 삼으시고 불꽃으로 자기 사역자를 삼으시며”(시 104:4)

구약에서 천사들과 사람들 간의 관계와 신약에서 천사들과 우리 간의 관계에는 차이가 있습니다. 구약에서 천사들은 잘못한 사람을 처벌할 수 있을 정도로 사람들을 다스리는 권세를 가지고 있었습니다.

간단한 예시로 사가랴에 대한 이야기가 있습니다. 이는 신약에 등장하지만 구약 시대에 일어난 이야기입니다. 한 천사가 사가랴에게 그와 그의 아내가 노년에 아이, 즉 침례 요한을 낳을 것이라고 알려주었습니다.

그러나 사가랴는 천사의 말을 믿지 않았고, 천사는 사가랴의 불신앙을 벌했습니다. 그래서 사가랴는 침례 요한이 태어날 때까지 말을 못하게 되었습니다. (누가복음 1:19-20을 읽어보십시오.) 그러나 신약에서는 천사들이 우리의 종입니다. 그들은 실제로 우리를 섬깁니다.

성경은 말합니다. “… 모든 천사들은 섬기는 영으로서 구원 받을 상속자들을 위하여 섬기라고 보내심이 아니냐”(히 1:13-14) 우리는 구원의 상속자입니다. 천사들은 우리를 위해, 우리를 섬기도록 보냄을 받은 섬기는 영들입니다. 구약에서는 천사들이 사람들에게 사역을 했습니다. 그러나 신약에서는 그들이 우리를 섬깁니다.

정말 놀라운 일입니다! 이는 우리 주 예수님이 얼마나 실제적이고 강력한 분이신지 보여줍니다. 우리가 그분의 이름으로 기능하기 때문입니다. 그분의 이름 안에서 우리는 지시를 내리고 심지어 천사들이 그 지시에 순종합니다. 베드로전서 3:22은 말합니다. “그는 하늘에 오르사 하나님 우편에 계시니 천사들과 권세들과 능력들이 그에게 복종하느니라” 할렐루야!

사랑하는 아버지, 그리스도 예수 안에서 만물을 다스리고 통치하는 권세를 주시니 감사합니다. 나를 위해 사역하고 있는 거룩한 천사들에 감사드립니다. 오늘 내 삶과 나를 위해 일어나도록 아버지께서 정하신 모든 일들이 일어나도록 나는 지금 예수 이름으로 천사들을 파송합니다. 예수 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘.

ANGELS IN THE NEW TESTAMENT

“Who maketh his angels spirits; his ministers a flaming fire” (Psalm 104:4).

There’s a difference between how angels related to people in the Old Testament and how they relate with us in the New Testament. In the Old Testament, they had authority over the people to the point where they could even punish some who did something wrong.

A simple example is the story of Zechariah, which, though can be found in the New Testament section of the Bible, happened in the Old Testament period. An angel brought a message to Zechariah that he and his wife would have a child in their old age, John the Baptist.

Zechariah however failed to believe the words of the angel, and the angel punished Zechariah for his unbelief, and he was dumb until John the Baptist was born (read Luke 1:19-20). But in the New Testament, the angels are our servants; they actually serve us.

The Bible says angels are “… all ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation?” (Hebrews 1:13-14). We’re the heirs of salvation. The angels are ministering spirits sent forth to minister for us, that is, on our behalf. In the Old Testament, angels ministered to them; in the New Testament, they minister for us.

This is wonderful! It shows how real and powerful our Lord Jesus is, because we function in His Name. In His Name, we give instructions and even angels obey. The Bible says in 1 Peter 3:22: “Who is gone into heaven, and is on the right hand of God; angels and authorities and powers being made subject unto him.”  Hallelujah!

PRAYER

Dear Father, thank you for the authority you’ve given me in Christ Jesus to reign and rule over all things. Thank you for your holy angels that minister for me. Right now, in the Name of Jesus, I dispatch them to bring to pass all that you’ve ordained to happen in my life and for me today, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

환난 중의 평안

Peace In The Midst Of Trouble

“그 때에 느부갓네살 왕이 놀라 급히 일어나서 모사들에게 물어 이르되 우리가 결박하여 불 가운데에 던진 자는 세 사람이 아니었느냐 하니… 내가 보니 결박되지 아니한 네 사람이 불 가운데로 다니는데 상하지도 아니하였고 그 넷째의 모양은 신들의 아들과 같도다 하고”(단 3:24-25)

성경은 사드락과 메삭과 아벳느고가 맹렬히 타는 풀무불 속에 던져졌음을 보여줍니다. 풀무불 안에 있는 동안 그들은 침착했습니다. 그들은 심지어 불에서 구해달라고 하나님께 기도하지도 않았습니다. 그러나 하나님께서 어떻게 하셨는지 생각해 보십시오. 그들을 불에서 구해내는 대신에 “불 속의 네 번째 사람”으로 그들과 함께하셨습니다. 저는 이 사실을 너무나 좋아합니다!

성경은 그들의 피부에서 타는 냄새조차 나지 않았다고 말합니다. 하나님은 당신을 불에서 끌어낼 필요가 없으십니다. 이미 이사야 43:2에서 이렇게 말씀하셨기 때문입니다. “… 네가 불 가운데로 지날 때에 타지도 아니할 것이요 불꽃이 너를 사르지도 못하리니”

당신이 인생에서 어떤 압박과 장애물에 마주하든지 상관 없습니다. 중요한 점은 주님이 당신과 함께, 그리고 당신 안에 계시다는 점입니다. 그분은 폭풍 가운데 당신의 평안이십니다. 당신을 불안하게 하거나 잠 못 이루게 만드는 상황이 있습니까? 긴장을 푸십시오. 예수님이 당신의 평안이십니다.

요한복음 16:33에서 예수님은 “이것을 너희에게 이르는 것은 너희로 내 안에서 평안을 누리게 하려 함이라 세상에서는 너희가 환난을 당하나 담대하라 내가 세상을 이기었노라”고 말씀하셨습니다. 당신이 대적이나 자신에게 닥치는 역경 때문에 결코 당황해서는 안 되는 이유를 아십니까? 주님께서는 당신에게 이미 사탄과 그가 할 수 있는 모든 일에 대한 승리와 통치권을 주셨기 때문입니다.

요한일서 4:4은 말합니다. “자녀들아 너희는 하나님께 속하였고 또 그들을 이기었나니 이는 너희 안에 계신 이가 세상에 있는 자보다 크심이라” 더 크신 분이 당신 안에 계신다는 사실을 항상 인식하십시오. 그러므로 그 무엇도 당신을 해치거나 제한할 수 없습니다. 당신의 마음을 하나님의 말씀으로 채워서 삶 가운데 있는 모든 두려움을 없애십시오. 지금 이렇게 선포하십시오. “아버지, 감사합니다. 아버지께서 내 안에 계시고 나와 함께 계십니다. 그러므로 나는 천하무적입니다. 나는 성공입니다. 나는 발전하고 있고 나에게 힘 주시는 그리스도를 통해 무엇이든 할 수 있습니다. 아멘.”

고백

삶의 역경, 압박, 어려움은 나에게 중요한 요소가 아닙니다. 나는 폭풍 속에서도 승리 가운데 살기 때문입니다. 하나님의 말씀은 나를 절대적인 확신과 독립의 자리로 인도합니다. 이 세상 그 무엇도 나에게 어떤 일이 일어날지 결정할 수 없습니다. 나는 염려, 동요, 긴장, 번민, 혼란 없이 삽니다. 그리스도가 나의 전부이시기 때문입니다. 하나님께 영광 드립니다!

PEACE IN THE MIDST OF TROUBLE

“Then Nebuchadnezzar…said unto his counsellors, Did not we cast three men bound into the midst of the fire?… Lo, I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire, and they have no hurt; and the form of the fourth is like the Son of God” (Daniel 3:24-25).

The Bible tells us how Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego were thrown into a fiery furnace. While in the furnace, they were unruffled. And they didn’t even pray to God to bring them out of the fire. But guess what God did; instead of bringing them out of the fire, He joined them as the “fourth man in the fire.” I love that!

The Bible says there wasn’t even the smell of smoke on their skin let alone being burnt. God doesn’t have to bring you out of the fire. He already said in Isaiah 43:2, “… when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee.”

It makes no difference what pressures and obstacles you face in life; what’s important is that the Lord is with you, and in you. He’s your peace in the midst of the storm. Is there a situation that has made you fret or given you sleepless nights? Relax. Jesus is your peace.

He said in John 16:33, “These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.” Can you see why you should never be flustered by the adversary or any adversity that comes your way? The Lord already gave you victory and dominion over Satan and everything he’s capable of.

1 John 4:4 says, “Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.” Be ever mindful that the greater One lives in you; therefore nothing can hurt or limit you. Expunge fear from your life by filling your heart with God’s Word. Even now, declare, “Father, I thank you, for you live in me and are with me. Therefore, I’m invincible; I’m a success. I’m making progress and can do all things through Christ who is my strength. Amen.

CONFESSION

The adversities, pressures and difficulties of life aren’t a factor for me because I live in victory even in the midst of the storms. God’s Word has brought me to a place of absolute confidence and independence, where nothing in this world can determine what happens with me. I live free of worry, agitations, tensions, distress, and confusion because Christ is my all. Glory to God!
