“당신 안에 계신 그리스도”가 당신이 필요한 전부입니다
“Christ In You” – The One Thing Needful
“하나님이 그들로 하여금 이 비밀의 영광이 이방인 가운데 얼마나 풍성한지를 알게 하려 하심이라 이 비밀은 너희 안에 계신 그리스도시니 곧 영광의 소망이니라”(골 1:27)
어떤 사람들은 자신이 알고 있는 것을 다 했음에도 여전히 자신의 삶이 하나님의 말씀의 실재와 괴리가 있는 것에 대해 한탄합니다. 그들은 “제가 번영하기 위해 무엇을 더 해야 하나요?” 혹은 “제가 치유되기 위해서 무엇을 더 해야 하나요?”와 같은 질문을 합니다. 그들은 삶에서 해답이 필요한 이런 질문들을 대면하고 있습니다.
이제 제가 당신에게 하려는 말은 매우 중요합니다. 어느 날, 저는 선지자들이 구약 시대 때 행했던 일들과 하나님께서 그분의 백성들에게 주셨던 놀라운 능력에 대해 주님과 신나는 교제를 하고 있었습니다. 저는 성경을 통해 이러한 내용들을 묵상하면서 “하나님은 무엇을 원하실까? 그분의 계획은 무엇일까? 우리가 그분께 무엇이든 구할 수 있다면, 과연 무엇을 구해야 할까?”에 대해 생각하게 되었습니다.
그러자 주님께서는 저에게 이렇게 말씀하셨습니다. “네가 갈망할 수 있는 그 어떤 좋은 것도 네가 이미 가지고 있는 네 안에 계신 그리스도에 비할 수 없다! 그리스도가 바로 ‘너에게 필요한 오직 한 가지’이다.” 당신 안에 계신 그리스도가 모든 것을 포함합니다. 우리가 하나님께 받은 것들 중 그리스도가 가장 큽니다. 당신이 이 진리를 인식한다면, 그것이 당신의 모든 갈급함과 갈망을 채울 것입니다. 하나님께 다른 것을 구하는 것이 사실은 어리석다는 것을 깨닫게 될 것입니다.
만일 당신이 그리스도께서 당신의 심령에 거하신다는 사실을 받아들일 수만 있다면, 그것이 당신의 삶을 바꿀 것입니다. 하나님이 주신 모든 것은 그리스도 안에 있습니다. 하나님의 모든 것이 그리스도 안에 있습니다. 기억하십시오. 그리스도 안에는 신성의 모든 충만이 육체로 거하십니다. 그리고 우리는 그분 안에서 완전합니다. 이것이 진정 사실이라면 당신이 무엇을 더 원할 수 있겠습니까?
그래서 바울은 이렇게 말했습니다. “모든 것이 너희 것이고, 세상이 너희의 것이다”(고전 3:21-22) 당신이 이러한 의식을 가지게 된다면 세상이 너무나도 작게 느껴질 것입니다. 당신의 담대함은 강해질 것이고, 미래나 어둠이나 실패나 결핍에 대한 어떤 두려움도 없을 것입니다. 그분 안에서 당신은 모든 것을 소유하며 모든 것에 승리했기 때문입니다. 당신은 정복자보다 나은 자입니다. 그분의 이름을 영원히 송축합니다!
고백
만물이 나의 것입니다. 그리스도께서 내 심령을 그분의 거처로 삼으셨기 때문에 나는 건강하고, 번영하고, 활기차고, 성공적인 삶을 삽니다. 나는 두려워할 게 없습니다. 내 안에 계신 그리스도가 지속적인 승리와 영원한 영광의 삶에 대한 보장이므로 나는 미래나 어둠이나 실패에 대한 두려움이 없습니다. 하나님을 송축합니다!

“CHRIST IN YOU” —THE ONE THING NEEDFUL
To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory (Colossians 1:27).
Some people lament how they’ve done everything they know to do, yet their lives are still at variance with the realities of God’s Word. They ask such questions as, “What more should I do to prosper?” “What more should I do to be healed?” They’re faced with these and other questions in their lives for which they seek answers.
Now, I’ve got something to tell you about this and it’s very important: One day, I was having this wonderful fellowship with the Lord about the amazing things that the prophets did in the Old Testament and the amazing abilities that He gave to His children. As I cogitated on these things, looking through the Scriptures, I pondered, “What does God want? What’s His plan? If we were to ask Him for anything, what should we ask for?”
Then, the Lord said to me, “Whatever good thing you could ever desire is nothing compared to the ‘one thing needful,’ which you already have: Christ in you!” Christ in you covers everything; it’s the biggest thing we got from God. Your recognition and acknowledgement of this truth will stop your hunger and desire for anything else; you’ll virtually find it foolish asking God for anything else.
If you can only accept that Christ has taken up His residence in the quarters of your heart, it’ll change your life. Everything that He gives, is in Him. Everything that He is, is in Him. Remember, the fullness of the Godhead—the totality of divinity—bodily dwells in Christ Jesus; and we’re complete in Him. If this is true, then what else do you want?
That’s why Paul said, “All things are yours”; the world is yours (1 Corinthians 3:21-22). Once you have this consciousness, the world becomes so small to you. Your boldness becomes so strong; you’ll have no fear of the future, no fear of darkness, failure or lack; because in Him, you have, and you’ve overcome all things; you’re more than a conqueror. Blessed be His Name forever!
CONFESSION
All things are mine. I have a healthy, prosperous, vibrant and successful life, for Christ has taken up His residence in the quarters of my heart. I have nothing to fear: no fear of the future; no fear of the dark; no fear of failure, because Christ in me is my assurance of a life of continuous triumph and eternal glory. Blessed be God!
