“그 안에 생명이 있었으니 이 생명은 사람들의 빛이라 빛이 어둠에 비치되 어둠이 깨닫지 못하더라”(요 1:4-5)
그리스도가 당신 안에 계신다는 것이 무슨 뜻인지 진정으로 아십니까? 이것은 하나님의 말씀에서 심오한 진리 중 하나이며, 그 의미를 이해한다면 삶에 대한 당신의 모든 관점이 혁신적으로 바뀔 것입니다. 이 놀라운 실재에 대한 영적, 과학적 의미를 설명해 드리겠습니다.
당신 안에 계신 그리스도의 실재는 과학이 정의하기 어려운 대단한 진리입니다. 과학자들은 인간의 몸 안에서 생명의 본질을 찾을 수 없습니다. 그들은 심장, 뇌, 다른 장기들의 위치를 정확히 알 수 있지만, 생명력 자체는 찾기 어렵습니다. 모든 생명체를 살아 움직이게 하는 생명은 감지할 수 없습니다.
이것에 대해 생각해 보십시오. 과학자들이 찾을 수 없는 생명, 그들이 찾을 수 없는 본질, 그들이 설명할 수 없는 현상이 육신이 되었습니다. “말씀이 육신이 되어 우리 가운데 거하시매…”(요 1:14) 예수 그리스도는 인간의 육신 안에 담긴 영생입니다. 이것은 지금까지 일어난 가장 위대한 기적입니다. 그리스도는 어떤 분이십니까? 그분은 신성한 본질이자, 영생의 화신이시며, 생명 자체의 화신이십니다. 그분은 “내가 곧 길이요 진리요 생명이니”(요 14:6)라고 말씀하셨습니다. 당신이 그리스도를 가졌다면, 당신은 모든 창조물을 살아가게 하는 생명, 곧 본질을 가진 것입니다.
이제 빛에 대해 이야기해 봅시다. 빛은 인간의 이해에 도전하는 또 다른 현상입니다. 더 큰 빛을 언급하지 않고 빛을 설명하기는 어렵습니다. 더 강한 빛이 있으면 더 약한 빛은 희미해집니다. 예를 들어, 밝은 정오의 태양 아래 있는 촛불은 눈에 띄는 효과가 없습니다.
이것은 우리를 다마스커스로 가는 길에 다소의 사울이 경험한 일로 이끕니다. 그는 정오의 태양보다 더 밝은 하늘에서 빛이 그를 비추었다고 말했습니다(행 9:3). 이것은 평범한 빛이 아니었습니다. 참 빛이신 예수 그리스도였습니다. 예수님은 “나는 세상의 빛이니”(요 8:12)라고 말씀하셨습니다. 이 빛은 세상에 오는 모든 사람에게 비추는 빛입니다(요 1:9).

그러므로 당신 안에 그리스도가 계시다는 것은 하나님의 생명과 빛이 당신 안에 거하신다는 뜻입니다. 당신은 영광의 소망, 우주를 존재하게 하는 능력, 세상을 놀라게 만드는 지혜를 가지고 있다는 뜻입니다.

사랑하는 아버지, 그리스도 안에서 내게 주신 초자연적인 생명에 감사드립니다. 내 영에 있는 하나님의 생명과 빛에 감사드립니다. 나는 그리스도 안에 있는 나의 정체성에 대한 진리에 굳건히 서 있습니다. 나는 이 진리에 대한 의식 가운데 행하며, 나의 세상을 밝히고, 하나님께 영광을 드립니다. 예수 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘.

HIS LIFE AND LIGHT IN YOU
“In him was life; and the life was the light of men. And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not” (John 1:4-5).
Do you truly know what it means to have Christ in you? This is one of the most profound truths in the Word of God, and when you grasp its significance, it will revolutionize your entire outlook on life. Let me share with you both the spiritual and scientific implications of this extraordinary reality.
The reality of Christ in you is a profound truth that science struggles to define. Scientists cannot locate the essence of life within the human body. They can pinpoint the heart, the brain, and other organs, but the life-force itself remains elusive. Life—the very thing that animates every living being—is undetectable.
Now consider this: the life that scientists can’t find, the essence they can’t locate, the phenomenon they’re unable to explain, became flesh: “And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us…” (John 1:14). Jesus Christ is eternal life encapsulated in human flesh; this is the greatest miracle to ever occur. Who is Christ? He is the divine essence, eternal life personified; the embodiment of life itself. He said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life” (John 14:6). When you have Christ, you have life, the very essence that sustains all creation.
Now let’s talk about light. Light is another phenomenon that challenges human understanding. It is difficult to describe light without referencing a greater light. In the presence of a stronger light, a lesser light fades into paltriness. For example, a candle in the bright noon sun has no visible effect.
This brings us to what Saul of Tarsus experienced on the road to Damascus. He recounted that a light from heaven, brighter than the midday sun, shone around him (Acts 9:3). This was no ordinary light; it was the true light—Jesus Christ. Jesus said, “I am the light of the world” (John 8:12). This is the light that lights every man who comes into the world (John 1:9).
When He declared Himself as the light of the world, He wasn’t referring to a physical light but to a spiritual illumination that transcends all understanding. He is the source of all light, the essence that gives meaning and purpose to life.
To have Christ in you, therefore, means that the very life and light of God dwell in you. It means you carry within you the hope of glory, the power that sustains the universe, and the wisdom that confounds the world.
PRAYER
Dear Father, thank you for the supernatural life you have given me in Christ. I am grateful for your life and light in my spirit. I stand firm in the truth of who I am in Christ; I walk in the consciousness of this truth, illuminating my world and bringing glory to you, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
